The food was off the hook good... Had Kung Pao Chicken that will knock your socks off... Beijing Beef and Pepper Chicken. Add in egg rolls and chow mein ... Wow. As good as any chinese in town. Seriously , 20 bucks ..

This Panda Express also has very friendly staff that works fast and gets things done. I appreciate the good customer service and fresh food.

The new shrimp dish was to die for!!! I don't remember the name of it but it was crunchy and sorta spicy and just amazing! The guy getting our plates was happy and helpful and i will def return again!

Really nice restaurant, with clean, new interior. Staff have always been friendly and polite. If you have a family or small group you are feeding be sure to consider the family feast option for bringing home a good amount of food for a descent price.

Food was great despite the little bit of wait time for our order to have fresh entree's it was worth the wait ! Staff was super friendly and working hard to provide fast great service... This was the first time I ever ate at a Panda Express. I ordered the orange chicken with noodles (chow mien) and rice also a chicken eggroll. It was delicious 😋😊👍. I was actually surprised. I will definitely go there again. This Panda Express is located on Churn Creek Road and South Bonnevue where they're doing all that new construction in Redding California. Right by I-5

I love panda bear because it has no m. SG whatsoever cause if I get ahold of MSG get I get really bad sick so yes, they have very good food.They're very good service

We got there just when it opened so some of the things weren't ready yet. But the dish we were waiting for is always worth the wait. First time here and it was clean and staff were friendly.

We have eaten at this restaurant many times, it is a convenient location on our way home from town. Today was a completely different experience than normal! We ordered ahead since we were getting food for the whole family, two family meals. The app said it would be ready in 25-30 minutes. After ordering, we were given a time about 30 minutes in the future for the order to be ready to pickup. I realized we had forgotten to order one thing, so I went in a few minutes before the time I was supposed to pick up the order and was surprised at how slowly the people behind the counter were moving! I got up to the counter and others the entree I had forgotten to add to the rest of the meal. The guy asked if I wanted anything else and I told him no, that I already had an order that should be ready to pick up and I was just adding to it. He acted surprised and asked what my name was, then acted surprised that there was an online order even though I could even read it from across the counter! I paid for the extra item and then waited for the rest. Over 30 minutes later, I finally got the food. The extra item (shrimp) was now cold and during the entire time I waited, they would stop getting my order ready to help the next person that just walked in! I was so frustrated. I had to keep reminding my e wife to be calm and not make a scene since she was very angry at the slow service and obvious lack of concern on their part to finish getting out for ready, even though it ended up being over an hour to get two meals! I'll have to really be desperate to return to this place, there are other places to get food that don't include the drama! Sorry, Panda, I think we're calling it quits, at least until I forget the terrible yeast in my mouth from this experience! By the way, the rest of the food was pretty good, I think - by the time I got to eat, I was to hungry to notice much about the taste.

12/31/23 - I was satisfied with my lunch experience here and will be back. Short Version: Good food, not overpriced, good service, service between drive through and dining room was well balanced, dining room was clean. Full Version: Call me old fashioned but I still like to dine in as opposed to always getting drive through and I’ve noticed that since the pandemic fast food places seem to be prioritizing drive through at the expense of their dining room/counter service more than ever. It makes me mad. This Panda Express, however, got the balance right. My family and I went in on a Sunday at around 2:00 and a couple employees came right over and served us while the other(s) continued to manage the drive through. The food was good and not overpriced, in my opinion. I spent $30 (including rounding up for St Jude’s Cancer Research Hospital) and I got a large chow mein, three fountain drinks, cream cheese Rangoons, a set of two spring rolls, kung pao chicken, honey chicken, and orange chicken with tons of rice. The dining room was also clean and well stocked. Again, since the pandemic I’ve noticed fast food places never stocking their lids, straws, napkins, or cutlery. I’ve also noticed that dining rooms are never cleaned. This P E however had a clean dining room and all their utensils and everything were there and I REALLY appreciated that. So, a good experience and I look forward to returning.

Pretty much every Panda Express I've been to had been great. This one just happens to be closest to me, so I go here more often. Never had a problem here. The food is what it is: delicious, fast food Chinese. Don't expect authentic Chinese food, and you will enjoy this. The employees are always fast and friendly. An odd mistake here or there, but it was always fixed promptly and friendly. I'll be a frequent customer here.

Excellent customer service. Greeted us with a smile. Thanked us for our patience. They had a tough customer come in and they handled it with amazing grace and decorum. We had 11 of us and we felt very welcomed. Thank you Louis for making it an enjoyable experience!!

We ordered 2 bigger plates with 3 entrees and one side for 4 people, which costed $27.xx. That is the price of a SINGLE dish in a near by Thai restaurant. The food is good as a fast food restaurant. The waitress was very nice and kept asking us whether we need plastic bag for eat out or extra plates for dining in. Plus you wouldn’t be asked for tips. Best choice for road trip especially when you have limited time.

Sesame honey chicken breast is soooo good. Employees are cheerful and polite. Especially Julie. Julie is very professional and kind.

Well this trip was a little different than others. The teriyaki chicken plate I ordered was a little undercooked this time. I called Panda Express back and notified them of their mistake and they are going to replace my whole entire order. First time that ever happened to me. No big deal things happen I'm still going back and you should too.

They have good food and good costumer service I just wish they would put a generous amount of the entree compared to less of the side dish.

Food was fresh made. Staff was nice. The three or four table in the shade were all dirty; those in the sun were too bright, even with the shades drawn. Restrooms were clean. Eating supplies - forks and straws - were well stocked, however their placement is too far from the register payment area.

I just love how fresh and expresses food is. However sometimes you can go and get the best hot and freshest food and sometimes it's just the opposite. Just have to take your chances and Hope that you get the freshest hottest food. A bit pricey but everything is these days.

Normally we always have great service and food. And the service this morning was HORRIBLE. The girl who was taking orders in the drive thru, was horrible. She said “ order when ready” when I’m checking the menu. I said “I’m ready” and I was taken back by what said next “ well then order”... in the most nastiest tone. Then got mad to the point she was mumbling, under her breath that I needed to change one little thing.. Of course I said, “sorry about that”. I get it, we all have bad mornings, it happens but we shouldn’t take it out on people who honestly, didn’t do anything.

I work for a company called doordash, and every time I get a new order to go there and pick up the order the entire restaurant is very clean and all of the food is cooked fresh. I have eaten there myself and I can tell anyone that the food is great. I would recommend this place to everyone who likes hot and flavorful food to go in and sit down and enjoy it.

It’s possible we visited during an off time, and this experience may not reflect their usual quality.

Chinesish food, it was fine, just no zest, bland. Would I eat here again, yes, if I were looking for something fast and filling and didn't need something with some zing. Think of it as the Chinese food version of McDonald's.

Food was fine but, when asked to use the free entree coupon I had, the manager said I'd have to do it next time in the app or in store. I couldn't find a place to enter it when I placed my order online. I am frustrated he wouldn't take care of it in store.

Need to update their hours. Says open to 9. Went there about 1/2 hour prior to closing time and was told they are closed. Last time service was great (fast and friendly). Time before that i think the food had sat a little long as my spring rolls were not very hot or crunchy.

I'm not a Panda regular and I feel after today I have every right not being a regular at store #3022 in Redding, Ca. The store had an overall clean and satisfying presence for a fast food restaurant including the restrooms. I understand a rush hour meal time rush, more people at one time that could last longer than desired. No suprise to me when an employee's first words were, "sorry we are short handed right now". The 3 of us stood patiently waiting for our turn to order. We were patient and understanding of there situation and in return we received a representative who at this time showed no signs of courtesy or willingness to provide us with at least a satisfactory visit or pleasantries. Givin there situation some leanancies are acceptable, I for one believe in customer/people care is important with all situations in life and my visit was created with frustrations and disgruntled actions without a enjoy your meal and thank you for coming by (said with a smile)!! But I am thankful for the food was good.

Always takes forever for someone to even acknowledge when you walk in the restaurant. They pay way more attention to customers in the drive thru. But once you are acknowledged, service is pretty speedy.

We have been to this location several times and tonight was the first time it had not so good service. The staff seemed really stressed out and not very friendly like other visits. We had order some spring rolls and they never showed up until I asked for them. However, they gave us 1 extra order for the mistake. Which was nice.

Standard experience. Staff is efficient, food is good, fair prices. This location remains busy. They give you plenty of rice or chow mien, tend to be skimpy on the stuff you go there for (orange chicken, kung pao etc).

The food there is not freshly cooked, every time I've gone there I am disappointed! It's dried out!! When I went three or four weeks ago I couldn't get anybody to even greet me and I was standing first in the line to order some food and go through the line and pay. Really wanted to report it then but I didn't get around to it!

Didn't have ready a number of items. Had to settle for what little there was. One more thing , I ask for teriyaki chicken , turns out the entire grill of chicken was burnt and had to throw away....not happy with left over choices

Have had panda several times and always good Had large meal delivered on Sunday early evening for husbands 96th Birthday the food was cold , but even worse it was terrible. Like it had set in a warming tray all day chow main noodles were tough terrible orange chicken was so hard couldn’t possible eat it very very disappointing. Food is the same as any other Panda Express. Service was horrible. Most likely due to lack of staff, not because of bad staff. Took a long time to get through the drive through with only 3 cars ahead of me. Then got handed my food hurriedly, with only half the food I ordered.

This Panda location hasn't has grilled terryaki chicken ready between 12-1230 four times in the last two months. When it is ready it's usually not cut through completely and tastes a bland compared to the other Panda locations. I thought it may have been because it was a new location. I'm done trying. 😕

Two stars because the food is edible and the drink order is always right. That said, I have never been able to actually get food at the drive through. Without fail, no matter what time of day or what we order, at least one thing is going to have us waiting in the parking lot. More often than not, that "2 minutes for super greens" has us parked out front for longer than 10 minutes. It's a new location and we've given them chance after chance to pull through but it seems to be getting consistently worse. I guess we're the dummies for not checking bags after we've waited for 10+ minutes, but you would think in that time they could get the order straight but that just seems to be too much to ask. Ultimately, if you're wanting to pick up Panda quickly, you'll actually save time and probably get what you paid for if you drive the extra couple minutes to the Dana location, by the mall.

Was the worse food service i ever had we both got sick from it an on top of that was refused a refund.on the spot tje was very old an was no good i wpuld not recomend this rest. to no body it was absoluty terrible

So rude . came there right when they opened and my husband was the 1st to order . they gave us wontons instead of spring rolls and when my husband told her it was incorrect she caught the biggest attitude and basically THREW the spring rolls in the container and snatched the wontons back like it was our fault she made a mistake. Literally just opened and she was already mad that she was working

Horrible customer services before buying my food I really need it to used the restroom witch was out of toilet paper when I ask the girl who was sweeping if she can put some she say I need it to wait this location was perfect for my family to stop as we are traveling from Fresno ca to Medford Oregon I wait it for a bit than realize she won’t put toilet paper I ask for the manager she told me I had it to wait I speak with the shift lead never stopping here again

My daughter ordered Panda Express mobile for pickup on Churn Creek Redding CA she has been sick had to call out from work she feeling better enough to eat something but still coughing and hacking and sore throat I already have the sore throat and not feeling well but we drove to pickup went through drive through was told someone bring out to us it was supposed to be ready by 755pm but was told to come in but we are sick and in our pajamas we were told to park out front and someone would bring it out to us even though it was already called in and should have been ready we have been sitting out in the car for half an hour waiting for our order that should have been ready before we even got here and they know we out here sick

The food was cold and dried out the teriyaki chicken had so much fat you had to clean it before you could eat it.. the rice and Chow main had pieces of celery and cabbage it was bad I through it in the garbage won't go there again...

This place is a joke... I had ordered $21 worth of food .I wait 15 minutes for them to cook it. The manager brings it out to me. (I should have checked it before driving off but not the point ) I put it in the car I drive home. When I opened it it was raw chicken..after I was on the phone with the manager he said bring it back I'll give you something else and I'll give you a plate for free...I said okay thank you I get back over there the whole entire staff was rude and nasty and the manager wouldn't even show his face to me it's not about me getting free food it's about why are you selling raw chicken????? NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER ORDER FROM HERE

They ran out of sauce for a chicken dish and sold to us anyway. Service was slow and the body language clearly shows they don't care. What a waste of money and they certainly didn't deserve 15 bucks an hour.

Everytime I go here it is a bad experience, today I ordered they have been open for an hour and had to wait 20min for Beijing beef when they said it would only be 7min which was annoying to me in the first place. They were very rude and I had to wait for food when they have been open for an hour. Last time the food was awful and made the mistake of giving this place another try...definitely wont be back.

I went inside with my disabled brother. 10 people working, walking around in circles loud chaos. Everybody in line waited quite a while to be waited on and it wasn't busy. I saw a manager in the middle and asked him if anyone was working the line serving people inside. He said he was going on break and walked away. It took too long for the girl to get our order, than longer trying to get someone to ring it up. Ridiculous. We won't go back.

I was there at about 12 noon they're out of a lot of food and what they had looked dry and old . I got broccoli beef it was nasty meat wasn't tender and the broccoli was way over cooked

They always forget my teriyaki sauce even when I ask for it. I feel like teriyaki chicken should automatically come with teriyaki sauce lol.

I asked if they still serve teriyaki chicken, because it wasn't on the menu. They said yes. I drove home to Cottonwood to find no sauce on my chicken. I called to complain, they don't serve the sauce anymore. Basically, no they don't have teriyaki chicken, and they would only give me a refund if I drove all the way back from Cottonwood with a receipt and uneaten food. Their service has gone down since COVID19.

I did the drive-thru a week ago. Got my favorites, string bean chicken w/orange chicken and fried rice. Well, got it home and was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED, to say the least. BTW, I was told that my order would be a ten (10) minute wait. I was trying to figure out why, because the food I got was not freshly prepared, no way. The string beans looked and tasted like they spent the night on the counter and the orange chicken was a majority of non-chicken hard nodules impossible to eat, (See photos). How does this happen. I know. It's caused by people who are not happy in their jobs. People who are NEVER given instruction on correct food prep and customer relations. I'm not happy.

The food was good, but we went through the drive through and they asked us to wait on the side so they could get our food ready and bring it out.They said it would take a couple of minutes, but it was close to 20 minutes. I had to go into the restaurant to ask for my food. It seemed like the food was already ready, so it means they possibly forgot it. Fast food Chinese is fine but the place was filthy, not one clean table until we asked for one to be wiped, and they only wiped the one table. A few minutes later, another person complained about no clean tables and left. They did not start wiping tables and cleaning the place up for another 10-15 minutes.

My boyfriend and I eat here almost every time we get something quick and this has been by far our worse experience at any Panda Express especially compared to others in the area. The last few times we have ate at this location our order has been messed up, or something was left out that we paid for or there was barely any food in our normal plate that we get and pay for. There was even a time were my boyfriend got a complete different order in our Togo bag and he ended up being allergic to what was given in our bag after driving all the way back home. Very disappointed at this new location.

Got my order wrong. Twice. Wife went inside and they gave her the same thing that was wrong with the order. Had to go in and explain to them how I did not what I got and that I wanted what I ordered. Got back to my truck and we realized I didn't have a fork or napkins. About the time I was done eating, I found a metal burr in my noodles. That could have been really bad for me or my 2 year old son

This particular restaurant has gone downhill since it’s opening! Food is cold! Serving in a bowl are smaller, not filled. And the orange chicken you get maybe 5 pieces of chicken. Not impressed! Disappointed cause we live just down the street and would eat here weekly! May have to stop our visits!

On top of that the manager decided to Forfeit customer service in lieu of his own personal opinion, getting loud with me at the register. Would not recommend.

Got home and went to open my side of orange chicken and found a dead bug smashed in between the foldable lid. Not hungry anymore! Thanks Panda!

Entered the South Redding Panda at 7pm Sunday night. This was after a 4 hour drive from the Bay Area. We waited for 5 minutes while EVERY employee filled on line and drive up orders. No one said I'll be with you shortly or even acknowledged our presents. My wife and I decided to leave. If I owned this business I would not be happy with this poor service. I assume that online and drive up orders are what you want to serve. Not sure why we would return. We live here in Redding, California. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Bought 3 large meals costing over $50 and received zero forks, napkins, sauces, or straw. Hard to enjoy the meal without a utensils and teriyaki sauce for the teriyaki chicken. This location is by my sons school so it's convenient to stop here on game days. This is not the first time they forgot or didn't give any utensils in the order.
