For fresh hand-cut and perfectly cooked steak, this place is highly recommended. Of course, there are several steakhouse all over Houston, but no other place can beat the price at Texas Roadhouse. We used to frequent this place before transitioning to pescatarian diet. Now we go there once in a while whenever my cravings for steak get the best of me. So many choices of steak cut and part: sirloin, NY strip, Forth worth ribeye, bone-in ribeye. Me and my husband particularly like the 8oz Dallas filet (for $22.49 only); it is succulent and tasty with side of sauteed mushroom. Love their baked sweet potatoes and Ceasars salad as well. Oh the freshly baked, soft and fluffy bread roll with cinammon butter taste so good. If you dont like steak, fret not; they have chicken, spare ribs, shrimp, salmon and vegetables sides. Peanut alert...They have peanuts all over the place (drumful of it) that you can munch while in the waiting area or at the table. In the past, you can get a handful of peanuts from the drum/bucket while seated in the waiting area. Surprisingly when we returned to eat this week (twice already, lol) I didnt see bucket of peanuts at our table. Perhaps they don't have it anymore; I don't know and I forgot to ask. Didn't go there for peanuts anyway, lol!

Me and my mom ate at this location for lunch. If you get Cameron (I believe thats his name) hes a more straight to the point server, and its not a bad thing. I even switched out my drink cause I didn't see the mock tail menu and he did it no problem. Everything we asked for he served it in a timely and efficient manner. Hes an awesome server and I hope he takes his approach serving into wherever life takes him! We will be back!

We visited late tonight (tuesday) to celebrate a birthday. We had a great time and truly enjoyed our service. Our server Adam went above and beyond. We ended up having a bit of an issue when it came to our table and the manager on shift as well as our server did more than could’ve been expected or asked of them to rectify the situation. We normally don’t leave reviews bad or good but the way things were handled tonight really made us think that the manager (unfortunately we did not get her name) and Adam deserved a good word. Thank yall again.

She was so nice and never let our drinks go low. She was on top of it. I ordered some ribs, and they were so tender and flavorful.

I will begin with a warning. Be careful to not fill up on the amazing bread rolls because the entrees are delicious too! On this visit, I ordered the Portobello mushroom chicken with sides of mashed potatoes and green beans which were so flavorflul and satisfying. I will certainly be back!

The young lady that served our table was amazing. Her name is Shanna and she wasn't feeling well that day, but still served us (my family) with everything she had left in her. She excused herself for a moment because she has asthma, but made sure the manager Bo and another waitress stepped in for her so everything was still moving smoothly until she returned. We had to birthdays with us and both ladies enjoyed themselves. The only issue I have with this steakhouse is if you have a party larger than 6, (they say 8), but depending on the size of the people in your party, it is 6...but they will separate the party and there is a possibility everyone will not be able to sit together. They have an extension attached to the table but that is basically for part of the 8 people. So if you have a large party, this wouldn't be the place to go to unless you're able to sit together. However, I will give Bo the manager props because although we were not able to sit together, he made sure the rest of our party was sitting in the table right next to us...we just had to speak kinda loud for everyone to hear. Other than that, great service, great food, great atmosphere, great team!

Very good place to eat at, mainly for older kids and adults. But there is still kid meals and stuff. The place is neat and has clean areas. Tables are very cleaned often based on what I saw when I'm here. Would recommend people to eat here.

My first time visiting this establishment but it won’t be my last. Was seated immediately upon entering and a basket of delicious rolls was placed in front of us. The service and ambiance were on point. The steak was deliciously cooked to perfection.

I really enjoyed my salmon salad this evening during my first visit to this location. There were so many people at the restaurant tonight, but we got seated in less than 10 minutes, and that is without a reservation. The employees were welcoming, and we were offered a sample of fried pickles while we waited. As a token of their appreciation for our first visit there, we were given a coupon and a sample of steak sauce to take home by the manager, who walked around and made sure that everyone's dining experience was a great one. I would highly recommend this location.

Me and two friends were in the vicinity for a doctor's appointment and some light shopping. After coming out of Ross we were decidedly hungry. One of my friends spotted Texas Roadhouse across the parking lot and exclaimed, "Let's eat there!" We rolled in at the beginning of lunch before the rush. We were immediately seated by the bar. It wasn't noisy. I could talk with my companions without shouting or raising my voice. Our waiter Andrew introduced himself. He is very charming and engaging. Had a really good Prime Rib. Baked potato all the way was really tasty. You can get just about any steak you want. The soft hot rolls they bake there is something to come for if nothing else!!

This is a rather noisy restaurant, and not really kids friendly though they have kids menu. The loud music can get a little annoying. They have free packaged peanuts which I love. It is hard to find big raw peanuts in Houston. I enjoy cracking the peanut shells. I find it fun. Service was great. The server kept checking in and was prompt. I like the payment part which allows me to pay right at the table without waiting for a server to get me the check. It eliminates the unnecessary waiting time. I had the filet with shrimp, cup of chili, filet 12oz, and chicken ranger meal. I love the chili. A cup full of meat, cheese, and spiciness. It was delicious. The filets were ok. The meat quality was ok for the price. Funny thing is I love their bread the most. Their bread is the best I have had so far. So soft and fragrant. The whipped butter complements the bread so well. I would eat their bread all day everyday.

Great place for some delicious food. More on the family side, but you don’t have to have your family with you to eat. Comfortable setting to enjoy. Pricing is good and portions are big. Barrel full of peanuts in their shell available to you if you have to wait for a table. There’s also bags of peanuts in shells already packed for you to grab as you head out the door. Kids play packs available at host table. Bucket of peanuts sitting at the table for you along with some rolls and butter. Food was delicious and able to make a second meal out of our food. Combo appetizer of potato skins had plenty of cheese which I enjoyed because sometimes there’s barely any cheese on top. Ribs were tender and flavorful and the chicken was juicy. Only note is the chili is a side you can skip on ordering. It wasn’t that great.

Asked for a 2 time serving of the rib eye, was told it could not be done. Spoke with manager, said she would do it as an exception. Observing their process, they first grill the steak, place it in counter, other side picks plate up, cuts when necessary, adds sides and then is sent to the tables. Very efficient high volume kitchen, except .... I imagine mine was grilled whole, passed to the 2nd stage, second half sat in plate while I ate the first half, then brought to table. Cooler, losing the juicy flavor desired in proper grilling. For the price, $37 pp, not good value/price ratio in my experience. Rice was mushed, sticky texture, flavor ok. Veggies microwaved according to my companion. High volume restaurant, equivalent prices to alternative options, will not return.

My food took 20 to 25 minutes to come. When the food arrived shrimp was cold. I also ordered a well done steak that was well done but came out medium rare.

So this place is definitely good for 4 to 6 people max. Definitely not the place if you're trying to host a big ole party. They will not seat more than 8 together nor take the reservation to accommodate for that. We tried calling ahead, but those are your options. Old Fashioned are made pretty good here. I've had several Ribeye Steaks here, and I know this is more of a personal choice, but I'm going to stick with what I know and go back. I gave the Porterhouse Steak a shot, and it just wasn't doing it for me. And we got it smothered as well. Not that I'm not a fan of lean meat, but the flavor just didn't penetrate the steak a whole lot and bone in between made it harder to eat. Maybe our server was a bit newer, but the food and every entree came out late and just subpar. The ambiance is cool, but sometimes, they'll crank up volume so loud that you can't hear the person sitting in front of you.

Visited on a weekends night. It was busy but if your whole party is available to be seated you’re attended to faster. They do a “headcount” before allowing us to sit even though only two people from our group was missing. The waitress was very interactive and full of energy. Made the visit more pleasant. Our food took a good 45-50 minutes to come out and unfortunately my shrimp was cold by then. Pretty disappointed but I wasn’t sending it back it was still flavorful. Temperature wasn’t there. Steak was great temperature our waiter ensured us to double check it.

We always have a great meal at Texas Roadhouse. We had a waiter that was new but he did great. The onion appetizer was a little greasy . Our meals was delicious and fresh, my steak was cooked perfect But the coffee was terrible. I drank the first cup because I was cold, but I couldn't choke down the second one.

Food was mid. I ordered Med Rare and got rare. And apparently the bartender doesn't like making bloody marys because there was no consistency between the 2. Both times it looked like one side of the glass fell in the salt, so I had a salty side instead of the rim. The first one had 2 green olives, which were missing from the 2nd, and it was spicier than the 2nd one. The rolls and butter were always amazing and my server Paris was very attentive.

Asked for sirloin MW to W...no blood..came back MR to M....Server offered to rebook it...last time took forever and came back black....so my wife ate the outside. We've been to Texas Roadhouse several times and went to the one in Rosenberg for the first time recently. We've always felt like Texas Roadhouse is one of the best values for a good steak. Unfortunately, this was our worst experience at a Roadhouse. The host that seated us was dressed in shorts and at first glance i didn't think he worked there. The service was mediocre at best, inattentive and not particularly friendly. We were never offered refills or additional bread. Despite the restaurant having a full bar we were told they could not make a skinny margarita because margaritas are made "in bulk". At around 6:30, they were out of ginger, (so no Moscow mules), beef medallions, and rice. The food that we did get was acceptable, steak was slightly overdone and vegetables were cold. The drinks were only ok. But the worst part of the night was when we were approached by an effeminate middle aged man dressed as an elf who was trying to sell us gift cards. He announced his presence with a goofy song while shaking his arms to jingle his bells. The gift card deal was advertised at the table so it was not necessary to send an elf to tables to interrupt dining customers with an unnerving performance that looked like it was part of a RuPaul drag show. Needless to say we did not order gift cards and left planning to never visit that location again.

I have been to different Texas Roadhouse even in other states but this one in Rosenberg was disappointing. First, I tried to order food at 9:30pm. Understand the online order stopped taking order so I wanted to place the order for the bread rolls since I heard they were so delicious. I called the store, the manager say we can place order if we order something beside the bread so we were like okay. We wanted to get a dozen rolls. Then they told us their “poofer machine” doesn’t work. Did they really not want to make it or was it really broken? If they didn’t want to make food why not close the store at 930pm. The next day I spent $50 on food cuz I wanted to give it another shot. This time service was super slow to pick up order and then the bread came out raw!!!!! I should have looked at the reviews. This is definitely a food safety concern and ruin the guest experience. Will definitely not come back to this location.

I would’ve given my experience all full stars however they forgot one important thing. I told the hostess it was my friends birthday and verified with my waiter as well to make sure my friend has a memorable birthday before leaving the States. I guess both of them didn’t really care and forgot.

I’m assuming everything is measured, so you get 3 sips for $6.50. Went here with my partner and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. He ordered a medium-rare sirloin, but it arrived cooked to medium, and we were asked to wait about 10 minutes for it to be recooked. He also ordered shrimp, which never came out at all. The overall service and wait times were average, but definitely below the standard we've experienced at other Texas Roadhouse locations. What a worst service we had steak overcooked send back fries cold. Sat at the bar and bartender never acknowledged that my friend didn’t have the food he ordered. They are out of Mac and cheese 🧀 After 50 minutes I asked and she said oh !! You don’t have the food. What a rough service and cooks are standing on the expo on there phone. Manger in a pink shirt with blond long hair never came to apologize. First put your HAIR together you are working at food n beverage NOT AT THE SALON 💇🏼 Get it together guys

Today was quite possibly the perfect example of how horrendous the management are at this location. After ordering a 6oz medium sirloin with fries, as basic as it gets, im stuck waiting 20-30 minutes for my food. A couple in front of me that was seated after me got their food sooner within that frame of time. Eventually, my waitress didn't bring me my food, it was a "manager". After cutting into my steak, surprise surprise, its prepared incorrectly and is rare. Manager takes it back to "get it fixed". After another 15 minutes, the couple infront of me are packing their food and leaving, and here I am with nothing but undercooked French fries in an otherwise empty plate. Im able to finally catch the attention of my waitress to just bring me a check to leave, and after waiting another 10 minutes she comes back with just the fries charged. No apologies or interaction from the manager. No form of compensation for my time wasted. Not a care in the world from them. I dont need the waitress being the one apologizing for the ineptitude and failure of a manager. Don't bother coming here if you want either good food or quality service, you'll get neither. Absolutely disgraceful.

Food presentation was horrible. Food temp not acceptable. Server and management OK at best. Once complaint was given about food they offered to remake it after we’ve already been waiting LONG enough. Management also offered to take meal off of check and gave a free entree certificate. Not sure about others but, that’s NEVER a solution for me. I don’t go out expecting free things/food. I want to pay for GREAT customer service and GREAT food.

If you have more than 8 people go to another restaurant, they act like its the end of the world if you bring more, any other restaurant gladly takes your business, while Roadhouse servers and management acts like its the worse thing that happened, the vast majority of our party went next door to gringos where they glady accommodated them with no complaining or rolling eyes. The rest of us (6 people stayed) our ticket was like $100 and we tipped like $50, the restaurant treated us like we committed a crime for bringing a party of 25, no thanks, gladly took most of the business elsewhere

We are regulars and never had this problem before. We went to have lunch today for 2, and ordered 5 steaks to go. 2 with vegetables side orders , 3 with sweet potatoes loaded. I have to say that sweet potatoes were charcoal burn. We live 22 miles from the restaurant. So we don't appreciate sending the food like this. See pictures

I don’t know what happened to this place but it sucks. And customer service has gone down so bad. I use to love coming here for the food. But tonight my first rolls were white like they weren’t even cooked. Then my steak did not even come out the way I wanted it this has been happening for like a month now. But today the waitress nor did the managers even come by to apologize. Everyone working was more interested in talking and celebrating an employees birthday. Tonight was the last time I ever come back here I would rather spend my money somewhere else where I get more attention and better time on real delicious food

Update 2025: I felt it necessary to revise my previous review based on our recent dining experience. Unfortunately, we encountered several significant issues during our visit last night. To our dismay, three different dishes contained hair, which is quite concerning. Furthermore, our meals arrived later than expected despite an almost empty parking lot, suggesting a lack of timely service. It raises questions about how hair could appear in two separate dishes as well as in a margarita. This situation seems more than coincidental. While my previous experiences at this establishment have been merely average, this incident is one that I find difficult to overlook.

This was a horrible experience. Went there around 1:30 pm. Was seated then fire alarm system went off. No one seemed to know what was going on at the time and could not clarify if everyone should be removed from the premises. Management did not acknowledge customers and staff to enforce safety. This event interrupted everyone’s meal. Finally the host came around and said disregard the sound. Once our order was taken it took additional 30 minutes for the food to be served. The food was horrible and unacceptable. The side salads were not fully prepared missing items/ ingredients. I mentioned it to the waitress. She apologized and brought out missing ingredients. Once the main entree’s was served it was not safe to consume. The food was cold and burnt. Presentation was below standards. I immediately asked for products to be cooked freshly and speak to manager. The manager apologized and stated there were concerns with pertaining the fire alarm. He did refund meal however the point is this particular location was slow, not persistent, sanitation poor, evidence of not following food safety regulations. This was my first and last time dining at this location. Horrible experience.

This location was way off. Ordered takeout and they gave us no condiments for the food, not even butter for the rolls. And most importantly, I ordered my steak medium and when I got home and cut into it, it was rare and no seasoning. Major disappointment. Too far to return.

While waiting in the waiting area, to be seated, I watched roaches crawl around on the walls. We did not wait to be seated after that. We left, but not before letting the hostess know what happened, and why we didn’t want to be seated after all, and her response was , oh, sorry. Sucks I won’t be returning to this location.

I bought a chicken fried steak they're supposed to be 9 oz to my knowledge but it's 6:00 looks real skimpy too how do you feel if you just got done buying this? It tastes as bad as I looked to.

This is not my first time visiting Texas Road House but I am really disappointed about the environment and the tomato was rotten. The moment I sat down I directly saw three ant on the table, one of them is still even moving, I don’t know didn’t the waiter clean up the environment so cause the ant crawling on table( there’s a video) Also the tomato from the salad is also rotten, I can’t imagine I pay 100 dollars to pay this meal and got such a terrible service.

“Fresh baked bread” aka RAW DOUGH I ordered 1 chicken salad and 2 dozen of the Fresh baked bread for my daughter’s birthday party because they love the bread here, but when I ate the bread, IT WAS RAW! It wasn’t even bread it was still dough! The inside of was sticky and it smelled horrible. The taste was so awful that I was going to puke I swear. It’s raw bread, not even the ironic golden texture. I asked one of the employees to check the bread and told me that it was “normal.” I’ve ordered this many times and this is the one time it’s horrible and raw, on my daughter’s birthday! I drove from the Galleria to get here so that my daughter can share this supposedly “fresher baked bread” with her friends but no! They just had to ruin it with this one simple dish! They offered to replace the dish but by the time they did, it would have been too late so I had to rush back. I didn’t want to bring this “fresh baked bread” to the party so I just stormed out with no bread nor refund. I ended up only taking the 4 good ones ( out of 2 dozens.) I come here every 2 months just so I can enjoy the bread, but now after what has happened, not only will I never come back, but Texas RoadHouse has ruining my daughter’s birthday party and I feel sick. If you can’t make bread for to go pick up costumers, then don’t accept the order at all! I don’t want your sloppy bread if YALL can’t do it right! Thank you Texas Roadhouse for ruining this day.

This Texas Roadhouse should be shut down. We ordered a couple of bread and it took more than hour and after that they we just asked for the raw bread and we will make it at home and they brought out rock solid bread and the girl had smirk on her face. Terrible place!

This is the second time I’ve been here and I’ve been disappointed both times! The rolls were definitely not cooked correctly as seen in the photo. My shrimp were over cooked and underseasoned and dry. We definitely won’t be back! There needs to be some serious training in the kitchen.

this place use to be a go to for me and my family and friends, not any more. Makayla, who stated it was HER STORE absolutely ruined my experience last night. Our server Eryn, on the other hand was GREAT, went over and beyond. I was having a bad day so decided to go have dinner and drinks with a friend, a friend who is naturally loud and jokes a lot, hence why i decided to go with that friend. I guess the bartender thought they had "ENOUGH' to drink because of how loud and jokingly we were with the server, and alerted the manager Makayla. This was after 2 drinks, mostly juice (even though they stated the drink had a lot of alcohol which at $5 each I highly doubt and tasted) and a meal for each of us. So Makayla told our server we were cut off, even though she said we could be served 1 more drink. If we were "INTOXICATED" why would you serve us 1 more. So I asked our server to bring the manager over so i can speak with her about the situation, especially because our server agreed that we didn't have "TOO MUCH" to drink because she what there the entire time and seen that we were just as loud (and we were not LOUD) and joking as when we first arrived. Makayla came to talk with her huffing and puffing and rude attitude like it was a bother to come speak with me. I said what i need to say and told her I would be writing a review, she said "CORPORATE WILL JUST EMAIL ME AND I WILL BE THE ONE CALLING YOU"....well Makayla I will be waiting for your call because I will remind you again, you were rude, had an attitude, singled us out and ruin my already BAD day, THAT IS WHY WE DIDN'T TAKE THAT LAST DRINK, EVEN THOUGH YOU THOUGHT WE HAD TOO MUCH BUT STILL WERE GOING TO ALLOW 1 MORE, BECAUSE YOU RUIN MY NIGHT. Eryn, thanks for being great and defending us and MAKAYLA DO BETTER AND LOSE THE ATTITUDE!!

Idk what has happened to this location but it has gone down hill. We went for my wife's birthday and the service was horrible!! Our server took great care of her other tables but refused to even check on us. We waited well over 45 minutes for 2 steaks and some ribs. We asked for rare and medium rare. I had to complain to the manager to get our food. Then when our food finally did come it was cold. Then the manager acted like we were the issue. I honestly felt like the server has an issue with same sex couples.

My sister and I visited Texas Roadhouse in Rosenberg expecting a normal dinner experience, but unfortunately it was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, the hostess (Natalie) printed a ticket for our table but then threw it away after we asked if a spacious table was available instead of a booth. She told us we would have to wait for a table and that we would receive a text when it was ready. After waiting outside for about 30 minutes and seeing multiple parties come and go, we went back inside to check on the status. At that point we overheard the hostess say to a coworker, “I think I threw their ticket away.” She then told us a table was being cleaned but immediately moved on to helping the next customer. When my sister politely asked where we should wait, we were ignored the first time and had to repeat the question before getting a response. What was most disappointing was that several employees were standing nearby and no one acknowledged the mistake or apologized. We understand that restaurants get busy and mistakes happen, but simply owning up to the error and communicating with customers goes a long way. Because of the lack of communication and customer service, we ultimately decided to leave without dining. Hopefully management can address situations like this so future guests are treated with more respect.

Person that brought out curbside order was nice & friendly. Ordered medium on steak, totally uncooked is what I got, couldn’t eat it. Guess that’s the chance I take getting it to-go, but I don’t eat in restaurant because it’s annoyingly loud.

Food was good. Our service was great. The server we had was top notch! However the Manager was playing music so loud the server was struggling to hear us when taking our order. And we couldn't hear the server. We asked multiple times for volume to be turned down down just a bit. Everytime someone would turn it down just a notch, the manager would go turn it up again. To make the nightmare worse it was the crappiest christmas music. There was a few good classics, like Grandma got ran over by a reindeer, but it played 3 times while I was there. I usually like this song but three times so loud I cant think is torture. It really made me want to gouge my ears out.

I recently visited Texas Roadhouse and had the worst customer service experience ever. My party of 3-4 checked in, and we always notify the app when we have more than 2 people to avoid being seated at a tiny table. I have anxiety, and most of those small tables are in the bar or busy walkway area. Carly Cervenka, who has been a service manager at this location for 15 years, rudely explained that if my party of 3-4 wasn’t complete, we couldn’t be seated. We originally invited a friend, but after the hectic table arrangements, I ended up canceling with them and decided to just have two at a table that could seat four. Carly told us to step aside, saying our table would be ready shortly. After watching many other guests be seated before us, I returned to the host stand and asked what was going on. Carly confirmed that my table would be ready, but when I explained I had canceled with my friend, she didn't seem to understand. Moments later, the original table was taken and given to another party. It was incredibly frustrating, and I ended up having a nervous breakdown at the host stand and started crying. At that point, she offered a free appetizer, but no one should feel embarrassed or talked down to in this manner. I hope this review helps improve the experience for future guests.

Was a brush bristle in my grandson mash potatoes giving a 1 star due my grandson could have swallowed it. The manager name is Rebbaka. Who still made me pay for the fries.then still ask for a tip when checking out on app.

I did a curbside order and the person that brought my order out was friendly. But then when I get home I see my kid’s order. The meat patty was all burnt and the fries full of salt with barely any fries. This for 7 dollars seems excessive. Well cooked shouldn’t be almost all black. I also ordered a medium well burger that was really dry too. I won’t be retuning if this is what their quality is like. You can get better quality meat elsewhere.
