Just checked out Mikomi Restaurant in Santa Monica, and wow — what a fun experience! The robot waitress, Bella, is super cool and adds a really unique touch to the whole vibe. Service was smooth, and it was kind of fun seeing her in action. The ramen was AMAZING — rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh toppings. Seriously, it hit all the right notes. The place itself is cozy but modern, perfect for a chill meal. Totally recommend it if you want delicious food with a little tech twist!

Just steps away from the Santa Monica pier and Third Street Promenade is this new neighborhood gem that's too good I have to share. Coming here, I was already expecting expensive prices for the area, but it’s actually quite comparable to the sushi restaurants back home in OC. You can definitely taste the quality of the fish and generous thiccc slices too. You can’t beat the lunch deals here, like all 3-item bento boxes for $21.95, or a set of 6-piece omakase sushi plus whatever roll of your choice for under 26 bucks. And available during weekend lunch too, like ok I’m sat. And oh my gosh, I wish you guys could've smelled the seared mackerel battera sushi, which comes in a cute rectangular shape! I’m a sucker for miso sea bass at a sushi restaurant, so when I saw they had a baked miso sea bass roll, I had to get it. And they even have bottomless mimosas or sake bombs, like say less, fam. Amazing sushi spot in Santa Monica. The fish is incredibly fresh, the rolls are well balanced, and everything tastes clean and high quality. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere feels calm and polished.

The rolls were great, fresh and came out quick. The peppers were amazing and the udon salad didn’t disappoint! Plus our server Michelle was awesome.

I visited Mikomi Sushi and had a really nice experience. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasted very fresh. I especially enjoyed the miso soup and the seaweed salad - both were flavorful and well prepared. The sushi was excellent, especially the salmon rolls. The fish was fresh, tender, and high quality, which really makes a difference. Overall, the food was tasty, fresh, and satisfying. I’d definitely recommend Mikomi Sushi and would be happy to come back again.

Mikomi was a short drive/medium walk from our hotel - the Sandbourne, which made it a great choice for dinner. I had been craving quality sushi but didn’t want to make the spend or drive out to Nobu Malibu from Santa Monica. We ordered the Las Vegas (tempura), Eel & Avocado, Baked Salmon, and Kiss of Fire Roll. All were delicious in their own way, but my favorites were the Eel & Avocado and Baked Salmon rolls. The baked salmon was so fresh and had an amazing flavor along with the Eel. The interior was nicely decorated for the holidays with a Christmas tree and decorations. One unique aspect of the dining experience that I haven’t seen at other sushi spots was Bella the robot who delivered our rolls to the table. We went about an hour before close so there was no wait and our server was quick and attentive.

⸻ We stumbled upon Mikomi Sushi by chance and decided to give it a try. It’s newly opened, very clean, with beautiful chandeliers and a fancy design. The sushi was absolutely amazing . I loved both the atmosphere and the flavors of the food. The staff were also very kind .I really hope they keep up the great quality. We’ll definitely be coming back!

A very pleasant surprise for this area of LA. Trying to get good sushi proved to be a challenge since places near here were either not good or very expensive. This restaurant has the perfect balance, good sushi, nice variety and fair pricing. Must mention the size of their rolls, bigger than what you expect for the price. Good cocktails and an extensive selection of sake completes the experience. A worthwhile place to visit.

We tried three rolls and edamame, an I feel like it was a perfect dinner. The eel and avocado roll was super tasty and big, I loved it. We tried the baked salmon roll too and you can really feel the salmon baked flavor, it had an amazing fluffy texture when you bite it. Great ambiance and the waitress was super sweet!

Beautiful and clean spot for sushi. They have a ton of yummy rolls and a new izakaya menu. I love getting their fried squid legs and their yummy chicken skewers. These small bites are perfect for when you want a snack and try a little of everything

UPDATED review: THE BEST LUNCH SPECIAL! 🤩 Mikomi is finally open in Santa Monica and we checked it out last weekend ☺️! The service was excellent, and the staff were super attentive. The sushi was fresh, and the menu had SO MANY options to choose from, including vegan dishes - our friend loved her vegetable ramen and tofu!!! Their bar is also great! 🥂

Coming to this place has become our weekly Sunday tradition. It was our third time visiting, and once again, it was an amazing experience. My daughter loves simple avocado rolls, and here they use giant, fresh pieces of avocado. We also really enjoy their classic Philadelphia roll. The staff is always very friendly, which makes the experience even better.

Stopped by here on a weekend and made it in time for their lunch specials! Decent sushi + portions for pretty good prices! Their happy hour menu is also pretty worth it if you can't make their lunch special. The ambiance is nice inside and suitable for all group sizes (big/small) and you can go walk around third street promenade after! Bento Box Trio: $22 Chirashi Bowl: $24 (my personal favorite) Mackerel Roll: $20

Service was smooth and attentive without feeling rushed, which made the experience even better. We tried several items and genuinely enjoyed all of them. Would absolutely recommend this place and will be coming back.

This place has a lot of great lunch deals and is perfect for a workday meal. Highly recommend if you’re not sure what to eat as the extensive menu always has something that works.

Came here for rolls, i left content. Some rolls are definitely better than others; so ordering good ones will definitely change the opinion of the customer. Pizza roll was delicious (normally called baked scallop roll lol.. nothing to do with pizza)! The tempura rolls were great too. Little disappointed with the crispy rice tuna roll; i don’t recommend that one. As for the price, I think it’s on the higher side. It does make me think twice since there are plenty of decent option around the pier for the same price. One thing I did like was their menu. It is very beginner friendly. Has picture for almost every roll, so people who’re not as familiar with some rolls can see what they’re ordering!
