Dude with a card around his neck(assuming a manager) and a beard had the best customer service. Food was pretty good for a sonic too! Probably the best they could do with the tools they are handed, that's why I'm giving them 5 stars.

Have never had an issue with my order or the service....just wish whoever is in charge would update and freshen it up.
I stopped in for a cup of coffee. I asked for large cup of hot coffee and left with medium cup which was barely warm. They were nice about it when I called to complain. They took my name and I went back the next day for a cup. They gave me one and were very nice and apologetic about it. The food and service are usually very good though.
Fairly new menu item is not good. The food I speak of is those small cheeseburgers that are 2 for a certain price. They are nowhere near as good as a regular Sonic cheeseburger. The corn dogs, onion rings, drink selection, and foot-long chili cheese dogs and hickory smoked Burger are still my favorites. I remember getting the Frito pie and burrito with chili and cheese. It has been many years since I have had a Sonic burrito chili and cheese. Going to try it again soon.
Ok 2 or 3 months ago, I would have gave this location no stars due to bad service and unfriendly employees. I called corporate because I refused to go back. The employees were rude to me on numerous visits and one time a lady snatched a drink out of my hand! I literally felt like I was bothering them by placing my order and Lord forbid you want to change something, you'll get a double dose of attitude from a disgruntled employee. It was truly an unpleasant expierence every time! I would literally drive out of my way to visit other locations so I wasnt put in a bad mood having to deal with that ghetto mess. I revisited this location today, ( 4-4-19) I was picking up food for a friend and to my surprise, new employees with communication skills!! Prompt service and friendly employees, hopefully they can keep it up !!
They need to stop letting their stalls stay out of service. It's not a safe position to pull in and then discover your screen is out of service and then have to back out to find one that is working.

4/9/19 ABSOLUTELY the RUDEST young woman took my order, so rude I left Considering that o stop in this Sonic on average 4 days a week (on my way home from work) I do not know who she was, I do know who she wasn't....there are some very nice women and men who work there. This one has the potential to poison the well, that attitude can infect other employees in no time. I know I haven't been been back yet, and it has been several days. It's a shame, I know her co-workers and/or manager heard her, speak up folks, she is costing you customers and tips. Some great staff here. Jordan & David are awesome, always pleasant and fast. Great service!!! 3/7/19. I can't submit a 2nd review apparently....Gotta give thumbs up to Calvin. All star car hop. Always does good job, makes sure to ask if I need anything else and always pleasant
The food was hot and fresh! And the mgr was running drive through , and I'm guessing carhoping! I'm guessing he was the man in charge! They were really short-staffed, and I felt really bad for them, but regardless of the wait , the gentleman was very nice , and I think Sonic needs to treat their people better, raises! And some help!
My only complaint is that most of the time the food isn't hot enough! Especially the fries!

Well today the water here in longview got cut off so we went to this dairy queen for dinner not the best because burger was cold. But for the situation at hand it worked
It really gets old trying to find a stall that works, then if it does work the sound is no good and they can't hear your order it's really pathetic.
The bad thing about hiring these young kids you have to tell him 10 times and they spend more time on their phone when you’re trying to get your food or your order your stuff
Have to say they’ve never messed up an order and we go quite a bit but tonight our blast were a little disappointing. The medium we got could have fit in a small because the cup was only half way. My mini has less too which was very disappointing considering the mini is still close to $4
I feel sorry for the workers...they are always understaffed and chaotic for the lunch rushes. It's not their fault, but mistakes always seem to happen here. Things like the screen saying someone is bringing your order...then 20 minutes later nothing has come and the screen has closed out as if your order was delivered... and you have to flag someone down to see what happened to your food. Hire some more part timers! Pay a little better! Do what it takes to make this place actually run efficiently PLEASE
I ordered through the app. Pulled in and checked in. When I got there I waited 10 minutes until finally I was given my drink. I just ordered one drink and it took them 10 minutes to make it. I could see into the store and the reason why was they did not even bother to check the machine that takes online orders. The restaurant was uncrowded and they didn't even give me my fruit in the drink. I ordered a Cherry Coke with fruit cherries
Orders are always wrong. Takes too long to get order if they remember that you ordered in the first place.
Worst service ever ,stayed in line for 25 minutes and finally got my food to find out they are out of onion rings .No they didn't tell me before hand. Burnt totes.
I live in Gladewater but prefer the Sonic in White Oak so yesterday was 50 cent corn day and I drove to White Oak for corn dogs. They told me that they were out of corn dogs. I really couldn't believe they were out. Big disappointment. How can you run out of corn dogs on 50 cent day.
Sorry guys! I ordered on the app and they messed it up. I ordered a medium raspberry diet limeade and I got a route 44 limeade, no raspberry. Disappointing.
Constantly gets orders wrong. Has this obnoxiously loud person who takes orders. She interrupts you all the time and always tries to dominate the ordering process.
"Hot Garbage" is too kind of a phrase to describe the food. The ice cream is flavorless foam with syrupy, artificial toppings. The burgers are an insult to the cows that had to die to make them. And they somehow managed to ruin tater tots. Tater tots! If your choice is between eating at Sonic or just skipping meals, go ahead an save yourself a few bucks. You may think "it can't be that bad", but it really is. If you have some napkins sitting in your car, just eat those instead. I will give a star for service, though. The people working there are friendly, and the service is quick.
Called in 2 BLTs. 1 regular and 1 with Double bacon. Took forever to get the order. Then we go to eat both BLTs had only 3 burned half slices of bacon I hope they do better for someone else

drive thru service was extremely slow for a simple order of a corn dog & sm. fries....I waited at the window for 4 1/2 minutes AFTER waiting in the line to get to the window for 8-9 minutes & there were only 2 cars ahead of me!!
Ordered plain footlong and popcorn chicken with ranch. Footlong covered with chili and cheese and "they were out of ranch"! More times than not, they're out of ice cream because of shutting their machine down early!
Never gave me a recept after asking 3 x's. No ranch for the cheese sticks, which was requested. No French fries, but gave an extra tator tots, but only half of a container. No Ketchup. We went through the drive thru, & the girl ignored me.

This is the slowest, saddest Sonic I've ever had the displeasure of using. Lufkin has two sonics, avoid this one. The drive to the other is worth the time you save.
Tried this Sonic for the LAST time. Bought 3 number one combos with tots. 2 cokes and 1 sprite. The burgers were cold, as well as the buns. Tots, were dry, like they had been out too long. My Sprite, was nothing but soda water. Shame on me for stopping here again. Lady, at Drive thru was very nice and friendly.
I placed my order in the app and arrived within a few minutes. It took 15 minutes to get my ice cream and food and the food was cold and the ice cream had already melted quite a bit. If it was made already, why not bring it to my stall. Luckily it was for kids and they were just happy to have ice cream so they were fine with it.
They started shutting down 40 minutes before closing.

Worst ever sat in the stall for 5 minutes. Red button was activated no one else at the whole place. They never answered. I have tried many times at this sonic . But it will never happen again.
They don’t give you what you pay for. I ordered bacon a cheeseburger the past three times I have been and have only received bacon once. I was still charged for the bacon all three times.
Adter I paid for pickle fries, they didn't give them to me.

If I could give it 0 stars I would the worst service ever and they never ever get my order right. I was up there for over 45min yesterday 01/24/2017 after they brought my burgers out for the third time in a row I finally drove off with what they gave me. Got home and the burgers was still wrong. Me being mad didn't bother with it at the moment my family and I split the ones that was right. I called back today and told them what had happened and the manager said well he can't do anything about it we replaced that order already. Yes yes you did I said with the wrong burgers again. He said it was there word against mine and would not replaced the burgers or refund the money. I will never spend another dime at any sonic until this is fixed or I get an apology. Which will probably be never. I will say and I wish I knew her name there is one lady up there that will try to fix any mess ups if she is there. I'm done with Sonic I will eat elsewhere. UPDATE: I received an email from another manager at this location apologizing for what had happen that afternoon and the rude person I was on the phone with. She also wants to completely redo my order which is very nice of her. She is very professional and knows how to deal with the costomers the right way unlike the fellow I had talk to the first time. My daughter used mobile app to order and white oak was last location I ordered but I’m 1 1/2 hrs away. I try to call but no one answers. Rings several times then busy signal. I see previous post about them not answering phone. Now I’m inconvenienced to have to go way out of my way to get this mishap taken care of.
There wrap wasn’t even a wrap… it was a bite of chicken and a piece of a tortilla.. so disappointed

I don't even bother getting drinks here anymore. Don't pay for anything that is 'extra' when it comes to drinks. I've given this place multiple times to get a good idea that drinks here are a no go. HARD PASS.
Went with the wife and daughter to get milkshakes tonight. Waited for several minute after ordering watching the staff member making our order talk on her cell phone while making it while David the young man who took our order danced around the store. Then the kiosk informed us that David was on his way with our order but David didn't show up fir a good 6 or 7 minutes (now I have been in enough restaurant jobs to know that means they entered the order as delivered in the kiosk so that it wouldn't show in the system how long the order took to prepare and reduce service times) and David informed me the system was at fault. Then after leaving the store and getting half way home we realized that our Lrg Banana shake, lrg chocolate shake, and lrg chips ahoy shake were actually 1 lrg banana and 2 lrg chocolates this I am sure due to the fact that the staff were too busy dancing and talking on the phone to properly fulfill their orders
Ordered some cheddar poppers today. They come with ranch dressing, but when they came to the car the dressing was missing from the bag. Asked the carhop for some dressing and she said they were out and wouldn't have any until the truck ran this coming week. Why didn't the person taking my order tell me they didn't have any ranch dressing. Thank you Sonic - White Oak for letting me throw five bucks out the window.
Seriously had the oldest burger everitt was crisp and cold. I been to this sonic a couple of times each time disappointed. Now I always go to the one on 59. 80 should have stayed shutdown they still serve old burgers and apparently moldy buns!
The past 3 times I habe come to white oak sonic the service has been pretty bad. Orders are incorrect, and when you try to get your correct order they still get it wrong. I gave up trying to get my order correct. Was charged for a double burger got a single, said no tomatoes, that's all it had on it. I won't be visiting this sonic again. Longview will be getting my business again.
I get there early so I can get back home early. Waiting outside till 7 and the girl, Dambra, decides to be late. She sees me sitting outside. So she knows I’m there, press the buzzer again. Nothing. So finally I pull around. Immedyly messes with hostility, she’s laughing at me, telling me she doesn’t care, being rude, sarcastic, tells me she doesn’t have a number for her manager or corporate which makes zero sense. I still order, and am still expected to pay. I’ve worked in food service for YEARS. If you have an upset customer you always help/comp their food to avoid this very thing. Yet, Dambra doesn’t get that concept I suppose. While leaving she’s still rude, doesn’t apologize once that SHE was late, she invonvied me, and she was in the wrong. This store already has awful rating. If she would of been polite and apologetic instead of immedtly aggressive, I wouldn’t be leaving this comment; instead she laughed at me and told me she didn’t care about me or this job. This young woman needs some classes in common sense and social etiquette, but from her own mouth multiple times. She doesn’t care. Could explain the low rating y’all have.
Terrible service. 6/9/18 The most recent visit here was very disappointing. I arrived twenty-two minutes before closing to order some milkshakes. The lady there told me that she sent everyone home early and that she is not serving milkshakes for the rest of the night. She didn’t even seem to care about this inconvenience.
Ordered a pretzel with cheese. Waited nearly 30 minutes, pushed the button on speaker, waited & waited...no one ever answered so I finally drove off. Most likely will not come back here as the last time my family & I came, the food was awful, tasted old, was not warm when we got it & took forever to get that as well.

Took 20 mins to get our food, no ketchup for my sru onion rings, no napkins, and no fork for my coney. Also, I'm pretty sure there should have been a couple of peppermints in the bag too. Unless the White Oak Sonic is the only one in east Texas that doesn't do that. Big thumbs down.
Per website shows closing at 11pm. I was at thie location at 10:40pm amd no one responded I yried the parking order and drive through. People ther completely ignored me. Wrdsite should be updated
Stops serving ice cream an hour before they close. So I guess they don't like money that much
It was Dec 10 at 8:30pm, we pulled up to the drive thru and waited a good 8ish minutes with no response. Pulled around and push the button on the board and same, waited 8ish minutes without a response. There were maybe 4 cars total at this location, as we were leaving I blatantly saw 2 employees inside doing nothing, just standing around. Might not be a bad idea to check the cameras and see how much company time those employees have been stealing.
Ordered a quarter pounder footlong coney and the gave me 2 hotdogs in a footlong bun. This is the worst sonic I have ever been too.
There were no napkins in my bag. The smash burger looked like it was put on the floor and stomped on it was so thin. When I asked for at least one napkin that was what I got one napkin only.
Terrible experience here. Was traveling through and decided to stop here. Pulled in, ordered on the app (as always). I was the only one in the parking lot for a while. I waited almost 20 minutes to get mozzarella sticks, French fries, and cheesy tots. The French fries were COLD (good thing they were for my dog) and then I only received 4 mozzarella sticks, not the 6 I ordered. I was NOT waiting about 10 minutes to get the additional sticks. I had been on the road for 10 hours and wanted to get home. The cheesy tots were lack luster. Plus, the boy barely looked 16 and didn't say anything to me. Just walked up and handed the food and left. He seemed he was the only one working and that's so terrible for him. So glad I don't live in the area and have to go back.
terrible the little boy who brought our order was 10-12 yrs old and the food was so cold all the ice was melted and i asked to remake drinks but he just changed the lids didn't even add ice absolutely terrible
Chicken was tough and overcooked tater tots were lukewarm amd a large wasnt even filled up and I didn't receive any of my condiments I asked for. We'll definitely never use this sonic again or any sonic associated with the owner. Learn how to prepare an order correctly.
Did an app order like I always do, ordered a Cherry Dr Pepper and a Cherry coke. Showed up, waited at box for 5 minutes, no one answered, drove to window. The girl was already angry that I just drove to window. She took forever to give me my drinks, and when she handed them to me, I asked which is what? She stated twice, I’m not sure, I said you don’t know what is what drink here? Again, I’m not sure and closed the window. Wow, absolutely amazed by the customer service. I mean if you’re not sure, remake them and be a little more friendly.
Tonight we got sonic in white oak and it used to be one of my favorite fast food spots. My wife got a Bacon Smasher Burger and it tasted like fish and completely inedible, hopefully she doesn’t get food poisoning. They gave my daughter days old chicken strips that were hard as a rock and she couldn’t even bite into and she almost broke a tooth. I know it’s full of minimum wage employees that don’t care but you can seriously hurt someone without proper food care. Do better sonic. Will not be coming back.
They will not put all your food in the bag and then claim you’re trying to steal from them after you request that they give you the proper order.
My dad went here on his way home from work. Ordered a large lemonade, large coke, large sweet tea and a small Dr. Pepper.... instead of lemonade he got water. Tried calling this location in White Oak and nobody answers the phone. Bad way to run a business. I'm pretty sure this is a corporate owned store so I will be calling corporate in the morning since I can't get ahold of this location.
Worst experience ever I wish I would have took a picture I got four Sonic burgers and then one supersonic double with bacon got home they ended up only putting five onion rings in my $4 large onion ring baskets(both of them) and maybe 15 fries in my large fry didn't even give me my double bacon burger and then acted like I was lying whenever I came up here!!! And I guess because I'm asking for the burger I paid for and the onion rings and fries I've literally been waiting almost 20 minutes and whenever I placed the $80 order not even 30 minutes ago it took them maybe 15 minutes to get everything out! Today's society of workers really suck if they hate their job they need to get a new one and not try to ruin the customers day because they're miserable.
Ordered on the app and was supposed to be ready at 6pm. They didn't get it out to me until 615. Which I wouldn't have a problem with if the food was fresh but no it was all cold. Got the coney dog and the hotdog looks really dark and rubbery like its been sitting on the roller for too long. Tater tots were cold. Told they would remake the food but they just reheated it. Asked if I could have fresh and not reheated. The 'manager' (brown hair female) was rude and I didn't even trust she wouldn't do anything to my food so called into there and canceled the order. Edit: Mean Managers name is Sabrina and it seems like other employees are aware of her attitude.
I typically don’t leave reviews especially negative ones. However at 10:15 I arrived at this Sonic location. I pressed the button a few times and no response. Two other cars pull in after us and get assisted right away. Around 10:25 a woman gets on the intercom and explains “Sorry but we’re not taking orders at this time”. We left and I called the store to talk to a manager. I was polite the entire time, and explained I’ve worked food service for at least 8 years. He hung up on me with no response. I drove back through five minutes later at 10:38ish and was told again “they aren’t taking orders” I responded “why does it say online you’re open until 11pm?” The woman claimed it was an issue with their meat vendor or something. I recorded that interaction. When I mentioned I had just called and was hung up on she did the same and discontinued the intercom. Now if I had been rude, cursing or in any way aggressive I could understand but I wasn’t. I’m very upset as I’m a loyal customer and don’t feel I deserve the disrespect. Very poor customer service. I will definitely not return and will post this video.
