The best part of NY is visiting a new neighborhood to test out some new flavors from its eclectic food scene. This tiebetan joint didn’t disappoint at all🖤

The momos are amazing! There’s variety of items on the menu. The place overall is clean, and the employees are very kind. Definitely recommend it!

Best momos with a yummy spicy sauce and comforting hand pulled noodle soups. It’s also very affordable

V

First time having fried momos and I really enjoyed them. Ordered beef and potato and they almost sort of remind me of a happy medium between a fried dumpling and fried wanton. The potato ones almost remind me of a ting kinish thats doughier and a crispier shell. Absolutely amazing and I was surprised how full I was after only having a couple. Will most definitely be ordering again. I also look forward to coming back with my mom and dad because I think they would enjoy them alot.

Amazing dumplings - The beef and chive are some of the best I've had. Destination worthy! Will return.

The place is very small and often packed. Momos and noodles were delicious. Portions are large and food is inexpensive, we had to take food to go.

Best Tibetan dumpling (momo) in NYC. I usually get chives momo . I like their consistency and freshness. Always coming back.

Good food! Although the service is a little slow. Definitely try the beef & chive momos (dumplings).

Great service and tasty food! Had the beef chili and enjoyed it a lot. The chili sauce is super hot but very tasty!

Long wait time and very cozy space. Best momos in New York though.

Huge portions, cheap price, and nice staff! Also, there’s free butter tea to help get you through some of the spicier fare. Momos are a must order.

I am happy that I explored this place few years ago!! Since then I make sure I have some time allocated to dine in whenever I visit newyork. The only good memory that I can have when In New York.

Small, cozy and hard to spot location (from the street) with authentic and delicious Nepalese cuisine. We had an order of chicken momo and cold noodles with chicken and were stunned by the flavor and aroma of our meal.

I had the soup beef dumplings and broccoli stir fry. It was sooooooo good 🥰

Best Momo's I've had in all of Queens! The beef and chives are great but so is the plain beef.

M

The service is a bit slow, but the food is killer at this hole in the wall accessed through a hallway flanked by electronics and jewelery stores (look for the paper sign that says "Lhasa Here" with a smiley face). As you listen to Tibetan pop playing on the TV you can eat fresh handmade momos or spicy chilly fried beef (HIGHLY recommended), all under the protective gaze of a giant Dalai Lama portrait. Today the temperature outside hit the low nineties so I took a pass on the salty butter tea, but maybe I'll return for that Himalayan classic in the winter.

I had the chive momo and it was amazing! Loved it. And it was fun trying to find it :) so worth it

A very well-hidden Tibetan restaurant First off, finding the place can be a little bit confusing to find, since there are not a lot of signs saying where it is. But that’s fine with since it adds a bit of this mystery and magic with the food. I ordered the Beef Momo and Thenthuk which you should definitely try. I really liked the Momos’ flavor and texture it brings to my mouth. Even better is that you put some spicy sauce that they have and it adds more flavor to the Momo. Most of the food you can order here is definitely perfect for a cold, rainy day or even worse the winter season. The employees are also friendly and hard-working. For the price and taste of the food, I will definitely come back here to get more Momos!!

This was my second visit in this tiny hidden gem. This place is wonderful. Some of the best hearty Momo's and soups you will find. This time around I ordered Chives and Beef Momo ($6) with a Spicy Minced Beef soup ($7). Great food for the price and you will not regret the visit. Enjoy!

The dumplings took me from earth to an ethereal plane of pure bliss. I wish I could come here on a regular basis. Absolutely 10/10 recommend. Welcoming staff, great service, and they also have a gender neutral bathroom.

Best Tibetan food I’ve found in the city so far. Thenthuk was comforting and fresh, the Shabaleb were absolutely amazing (gotta try them!), and the Momos were great as well. Service was impressive and efficient, especially considering the one waitress serving the entire restaurant. Everything was very reasonably priced as well.

NYC is a very tourist destination, but the food is the best! if you come here and try the beef and chives momo you can feel a really pleasure in your tongue! and the chili beef is perfect for close this amazing meal.

I've been wanting to come here for years and finally had the opportunity to on my recent visit to NY. Best momos I've every had - so juicy and flavourful! The soup was great too. I want to try everything on the menu. Friendly staff too!

I usually get the beef Thenthuk. Made fresh with plenty of flavor. One of my local favorites for Queens. 🥇🥇 Easy drive from Long Island and meter parked outside within 5 minutes. Lhasa has been around for a while, the original spot was made famous by celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain in Parts Unknown. Will bring my Dad & family here…

R

I love the momos, fresh and authentic. I got the steamed beef and chive momos-- tad spicy but good! Lots of pictures of Anthony Bourdain in there! Lol

R

Excellent food! We ordered chive and beef momo, chicken Tibetan noodle, and vegetable Then-thuk and they are out of this world! The place is a little tricky to find! If you passed the cell phone store then you missed it. You have to enter like you're going into Jackson Tailor (next to the cell phone store) but when you see the stair going down, to your right there's a door, enter there and that hallway will lead you to it!

Nestled quietly in Jackson Heights, Lhasa Tibetan Restaurant offers authentic Tibetan flavors without breaking the bank. Their beef momos are amazing—and worth seeking out just for those alone. The menu is straightforward, the portions satisfying, and the experience feels like a well-kept secret among food lovers. Highly recommend for a warm, homey bite.

This place is super hard to find but worth it once you try the food. Delicious food, super affordable and nice staff. The restaurant is located down the right corridor of this multistore building. It's across the street from Rahul's couture, after the Prince Kabab, and before Karishma. If you get to the TMobile, you have gone too far.

j

The chicken momo, and the beef momo were delicious. The place is small and only 5 tables, you can wait and trust me is worth it, or you can sit with other people on 1 of the 4 top tables..

T
Tsering Hyolmo

I was there for dinner with my two Hispanic friends no complain for food we enjoyed every bite of it only the worst part is the service waitress was not friendly at all she never came to table to ask if everything was ok or we need anything We have to call her for more water . She had very cold personality with big attitude seems like she was mad or something like she was serving free food . I noticed that behavior was only for me and my Hispanic friends there was white lady across the table where we were sitting the same waitress was very friendly to her . Even though she didn’t deserved any tip we tip very generously. The owners of Tibetan restaurant must pay attention to who they are hiring as a server he/she has to be friendly and respectful to every customer .

Really incredible. An experience. It’s very small and difficult to find. It’s tucked behind a cell phone accessory store called You and Me Wireless. If you can’t find it, DON’T GIVE UP! It is worth it. When you finally find it, you need to get a table. There are just a few tables, and you will only get a seat if you take one. Don’t be afraid to sit down at a table that hasn’t been cleared of dirty dishes yet, or to sit in an empty seat next to another diner. I’d highly recommend starting off with beef and chive momo. The momo here are really the highlight. If you choose to branch out with other dishes, just make sure that momo is the backbone of the meal. Service is hectic, but good. Bang for your buck is excellent. The food is out of this world. This is my new favorite spot in Queens.

Visited Lhasa Fast Food yesterday afternoon and ordered their beef + chive steamed momos ($8) and potato fried momos ($9). They were made fresh and came out after 10 minutes, with 9 dumplings per order. The beef + chive steamed momos tasted fresh and I liked how it wasn’t too thick-skinned. If you love chives, get these momos because they were stuffed with it. The fried momos were more on the doughy side, but paired very well with the potato filling inside. I thought both the steamed and fried momos were delicious! Make sure to eat them hot, or else they’ll get too chewy. Don’t forget the hot sauce! (not too spicy, tastes similar to sriracha imo) Momo filling choices: beef beef & chive chicken chive potato

We tried several different Momos and shared with the table. Our favorites were the beef and the potato. My youngest had the dumpling and soup and loved it. The service was great. The young lady was helping every table and did an amazing job. Great small restaurant with great food and prices.

Smallest restaurant ever! It's hidden behind a cell phone stall. The menus is small bit the food here are fresh made and is authentic. The momos are so good! What a hidden gem.

A very simple, good authentic Tibetan food. I was passing by the restaurant and I wanted to try a good soup. I had the TIBETAN NOODLE SOUP Beef and chives dumpling in soup with bok choy, ear mushroom and glass noodle, which was rich, delicious, full of flavors and spicy 🌶️ as I love spicy 🌶️ good. The beef was tender and savory. The staff were welcoming and the place is warm and clean. I’ll come back for the MOMO’s.

M

We got two kinds of momos: fried beef and steamed chicken. Both are good but I personally prefer the steamed ones. They are very filling actually. Accepts card.

R
Richard W

The shabaleb were a delicious surprise! They’re almost like fried soup dumplings with how much juice was inside. Eat them carefully or you’ll spill the liquid all over yourself. The bodja is an interesting experience everyone should try at least once—I personally liked it. The momos are strongly flavored with chive, served with a spicy sauce on the side. Amazingly cheap for the quality and quantity of food.

Lhasa Fast Food delivers adventure and discovery at their Jackson heights location. Off the beaten path and tucked behind several stores selling cellphone accessories this cozy Tibetan restaurant transports you to another place for the cost of a MTA trip and a plate of dumpling. The standout dish at Lhasa are their hand made Momo dumpling. Piping hot, filled to the edges and powerfully flavored they should not be missed. The soups and noodles are strong podium dishes that should not be missed on an initial trip. This is a special restaurant that deserves its journey and experience, take the trip today.

I come here often and most of the time the food is great! Chive momo being one of my favorite things to order along with their cold noodle. The server is also very nice and works hard as she’s usually the only one, so tip well! Those complaining about her facial expressions or whatever are just entitled. Try working in service industry for a week and find out. 🙄

We had no idea that Tibetan food would be this spicy. We tried the yellow laphing and it sure set my mouth on fire. But it was really tasty, so was the veggie thentuk. Service was good and so was the ambience of the restaurant. Definitely a must visit when in the area!

Come here for Momos, steamed or fried! They're soft and juicy, and the sauce they come with is very spicy. I love the hand pulled noodles as well though I wish the accompanying elements were better cooked. I think the non-soup noodle dishes might be the way to go here, aside from the Momos.

Lhasa Fast Food is the perfect antidote to a dreary day. Their warm, inviting atmosphere creates a cozy escape from the cold. The food is absolutely fantastic! The chicken momo, lamb thenthuk, and beef chili are must-tries. This is my go to place whenever I am craving for momo. I was pleasantly surprised to find halal meat options, which is great for the neighborhood. To top it off, they offer a decent selection of beer and cocktails. If you're craving authentic Nepali cuisine, this is my spot. Highly recommended! IG 📸 @adventureofourlifetime

The best family-run business with the friendliest owner and delicious food! We loved everything we ordered and was even given tea samples! It was the first time we had Tibetan dishes, and we will definitely be back for more. They even took the time to explain the dishes and made our experience even better. Special thanks to the chef-owner!

Just had the beef and chive momos. Not bad but was hoping to be amazing given the stellar reviews from others. I'd rate the beef and chive momos 7/10.

This place is hidden down a narrow hall between two stores and seats about 16 people if that but the service was fast and the Momo's were amazing. My buddy and I got three orders and it was plenty of food.

Went here in the old location (in the back of the cell phone store) before the fire. I would actually give this place 4.5 stars if I could. Tried the chicken and beef momos. 8 for $6. Great price. The momos were good but not great in my humble opinion.

Great spot for steamed beef momos! I'm not as fond of their momos with chives since they go heavy on the chives. Be sure to let the momos cool before biting into them!

This store can be difficult to find. Once you find the entrance walk straight in and take the door to the left. Do not take the flight of stairs down. The food is as homemade as it gets. A must get here is the chive beef momo. The chai was also very rich and flavorful. It was sweet but not too sweet. I wish I had the recipe. The Soup was alright. Tbh, not a taste I'm completely familiar with. I'm sure some of you out there will thoroughly enjoy it. I must warn you that the service is SLOW and the wait can't be unpleasantly Long. They had only one guy cooking the back and one person cleaning tables, doing the cashier, taking order and etc. But honestly, worth the wait and the experience. Come here when you have time or off lunch hour time.

A
Ayushma Subedi

Awesomeeeeeeeee food experience..... But giving 4 stars for wait times... The wait is so frustrating that I would want to give it a 1 star... they need to hire more people...they seem to be nice people but no one cares to take orders or greet, However taste of food compensated for it all!!! Momo is full of taste... So flavorful... Liang fen is good too... I tried stir fried noodle, which was pretty good too... I definitely will come back.... Highly recommend!!!!!

Solid experience. Keep in mind the beef and chive filling is very chive heavy. The soup we had was delicious though.

One of the great place to come and eat and try tibetan food! The ambience, service, value of money 5* the dry noodle was served little burned and tasted bad, 4* however they substituted! Great service. Overall great environment to dine in and enjoy the tibetan cuisine. Loved ginger lemon honey tea, and dumplings especially!! And lapping! Must come and visit. Recommend highly.

This place caters to "their own" because there seems to be an unwritten rule that you seat yourself. There is no overeager hostess waiting to seat you. They took another table's order before me, so I had to flag them down, letting them know that I am ready. Momos here are surprisingly good! I had momos one other time, from a food truck, they were awful, dense, no flavor, basically inedible, which kept me away from trying momos and Tibetan food for many years. Back to these delicious momos. I got the beef & chives (steamed) and the chicken (fried). Steamed are a close cousin to "Chinese dumplings" that everyone knows. The fried was good too. It was nice to have both. Someone with a more "Chinese palette" would probably enjoy the steamed more. The lamb ribs chili was good, if you don't mind eating meat off a bone. At times, the meat was a bit dry, but it had good flavor. The noodle soups were okay. I think it's better to double up on the momos and meats, forget the noodle soups.

This place is a bit difficult to find. It’s in between two electronic stores, walking down the hallway and at the stairs, go through the door on the right. Don’t be afraid to ask for directions. The restaurant is quite small too, there’s only 5 tables and it’s mostly tables for two. Everything on the menu is inexpensive, the majority of the menu items are less than $10. I highly recommend trying out the Chicken Momo. It’s packed with flavor and delicious. I’d come here just for their dumplings if I were closer. A mixture of soy sauce and vinegar goes really well with it. The Chicken Chow Mein was decent. The portion size was quite large, but it’s too much of the same thing and the spices used can be overwhelming. It’s also a bit spicy too, so be aware of that if you’re not a fan of spicy food. This place is definitely still worth checking out.

R
Robin Castro

My first experience with Tibetan food. We ordered the spicy lamb ribs and the beef dumplings. The ribs were super tasty and were spicy but not too spicy. The dumplings were ok, not bad. It seems like they had put celery inside which gave it an odd taste. However, they do offer a beef with chive dumpling which probably would have tasted better. There's also this spicy sauce they have on the side which is good on everything! Will probably come back next time I'm in NYC

We got a bunch of things through Door Dash so I can’t comment on service or atmosphere. The mo mos were very nice, basically steamed dumplings. Being mostly a veggie person I got the Bok Choy and broccoli sautees which were very decent. My favorite was the veg thenthuk; absolutely delicious, esp. with the hot sauce that came with the meal.

We loved the delicious Tibetan food. It's a limited menu, but there's a variety of appetizers, soups, or mains to choose from. Most are reasonably priced. They also serve drinks. Some more decor/ ambience and attentiveness from waitress could have been nice. We will recommend it to others who enjoy spicy food.

Embarking on a gastronomic journey at this Nepali and Tibetan restaurant was an unforgettable experience. This establishment isn't just about dumplings or momos; it's a culinary fusion masterpiece. The blend of flavors in every dish is nothing short of exceptional, creating a delightful symphony for the taste buds. The unique mix of Nepali and Tibetan influences sets the restaurant apart, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere that adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. What truly stood out was the carefully crafted Long Island Tea—the crown jewel of the beverage selection. This iconic cocktail was a revelation, perfectly complementing the diverse menu. Sipping on this expertly mixed concoction elevated the entire meal, turning it into a sensory adventure. The restaurant's commitment to delivering not just a meal but a cultural and culinary journey makes it a standout destination. From the first bite to the last sip, every moment at this Nepali and Tibetan gem tells a story of culinary excellence and a celebration of diverse flavors. It's more than a restaurant; it's an immersion into a world of culinary artistry.

The food was good but can definitely be better The lamb and beef salted were just spicy and lacking salt. The momo soup and the beef soup were good but felt like also lacking some depth in the broth. The fried and steamed momo were perfect.

I really wanted to love this place as I've only recently moved into the neighborhood and it's so close. There are some things I did like, but overall it was disappointing. The spaces is cute and even though you can't see in from the outside you can see out (clever dual windows!). The staff are charming and very helpful. But when it comes to the food. No. I got one of their signature soup dishes and it was pretty tasteless at best, rank at worst. It was over powered by the taste of the nasty meat. The chicken bits were so though they were inedible. The broth pretty tasteless too. The Momos were ok but nothing special. The stir fry beef had a decent taste but again the meat was tough. 😔 Sigh..... I will keep on my mission to find the best of Tibetan food in JH. How hard can that be?

R
R. Andclank

I was one of the first customers. I got there at 11:01 and it said they opened at 11. They were still closed. I walked back about 5 min later and they were still closed. I came back another 5 minutes later and there was people inside waiting for food. But the fact that they did not open on time was quite annoying. It was hot in there. If they have an a/c they did not have it on when I was in. Maybe they turn it on later but it was stuffy and hot and I immediately decided to get takeout. The lady who took my order was surly and acted like she didn't want me there. There was some other rude stuff going on in there I don't want to mention. They were cleaning. Seriously... they couldn't clean before we came in? And it was a lot of mess, too. The food came out very quickly, so that was nice. I took my food only a few feet away outside and sat at tables nearby in the much nicer outdoor temperature. Barely walked 20 feet away, so I did not wait at all to eat this food. So you can't claim I got takeout and ate food an hour later and that's why it sucked. It was still super hot when I ate it. The food was ok but not great by any means. The meat was chewy and gristly. Thankfully because I ate outside, it was so comfortable and it was a pleasant experience. But the pleasantness of my meal was not enhanced by the food at all which was mid. In fact, if I had not sat outside in the pleasant day, I would have been very upset by having to sit in a hot stuffy restaurant and overpaying for mid grade food and wasting my day out. This is one of those legendary restaurants that people RAVE about like it's one of the best things about NYC. Sorry, this was really disappointing. Thank god it was such a beautiful day out to enjoy and my day was not ruined.

A

Very much over hyped. Went for the famous momos and ended up waiting over half an hour for them to come out. The food itself was nothing special compared to what other places nearby are offering

J

Hmmm it’s not like what they used to serve like before. Their momo used to be one of the best delicacies around Jackson heights area. We ordered beef and chive momo with the same expectation, yet it didn’t live up to us this time. It was more like we had ordered chive momo, could barely notice the minced beef fillings inside. We too ordered chicken noodle soup and yet, the broth tasted really bland and thin rather. I feel that their old location had some authentic dishes to offer and it tasted way better. Well, it’s not the same unfortunately:(

Yellow Laphing 1/10: no flavor and felt like I was eating a uncooked dough Beef Momo 3/10: not sure if this was a different style of momo but meat looked really red and tasted weird; unlike usual JH Tibetan Momo Service girl 2/10; her facial expression and service felt like she was giving us a free food. Chicken Noodle Soup 7/10: was good after adding more salt

Service is friendly and basically prompt. I loved the beef and chive momos; it’s the best momos I’ve had in New York City and I’ve tried a lot in Jackson Heights and Woodside. I thought their laping was a bit dull/bland, but because their service was good and their momos were good, I’ll definitely come back again to try other dishes. The thukpa was tasteless…save yourself more than $10! It was very little glass noodles and seemed like a premade soup from a package….

I was disappointed by the food! I had high expectations given how highly acclaimed the food is, however I thought it was mediocre. Service was great though.

Pretty good tibetan restaurant but wish they would be more consistent. I have been getting same dishes almost every two weeks, but they taste differently. I love when the chili chicken is very crispy I changed my rating to 2 stars. I was so disappointed with the glass noodle soup i got today. it was literally water with white noodles, no spices and one tofu and bokchoy in it. No ear mushrooms, peppers, potatoes. Terrible!

Lhasa Fast Food has potential, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. Since it’s a Tibetan restaurant, we were especially looking forward to the dumplings, but they were not good at all, which was a letdown. The chili chicken was also poorly done and lacked flavor. The soup was supposed to be brought out first, but when it finally arrived, it was extremely bland and didn’t add much to the meal. On a more positive note, the chicken fried rice was pretty good, and the chicken chowmein was enjoyable. However, the beef fried rice wasn’t great and felt underwhelming. Overall, a few items were decent, but many of the key dishes missed the mark. With better consistency and more attention to flavor, this place could improve.

I was very excited to try this restaurant as it has an abundance of great reviews however, unfortunately I did not have the same experience as everyone else. Half of the menu was bland. The momos were decent, honestly your better off getting momos off of a truck in Jackson heights, it taste way better. The rice was so bland, we ordered rice with chicken and they put ground chicken in the rice rather than slices or pieces of chicken, this is very cost effective, which is why they went with this alternative. My brother ordered noodles with chicken and they put ground chicken in it, they are so cheap its ridiculous. My husband ordered soup with chicken in it and we had the same issue and on top of that the soup was so bland it was like drinking hot water..we told the waiter and she told us its not an Indian style... We are not even Indian that was so racist of her. I told her to change the order to beef chow mein and she asked why? What kind of a ridiculous question is that. She said she would get the manager and she did tell him but he did not care at all and didn't bother coming to the table. We asked for the check and I had told the waiter earlier to remove it off the check or change the order and they did neither. I called the manager over and I told him we wanted something different but they didn't update us on anything, they were just ignoring us and requested that he take the order of the bill. He then took the chopsticke that were in the ramen and went through the ramen...and said "but you ate all the meat". How would my husband even be able to eat all the meat with chopsticks when it was ground chicken that is in the ramen soup. Tiny bits of ground chicken in ramen is ridiculous. It was so unprofessional to even sift through someones entree. I was persistent on them removing it off the bill. Had they just changed the order we would of been fine but they neglected us all night. Save yourself the trouble, there's way better momo spots out there.

I went there few times before, they were not busy. Food is good. However I went there last time, since I was alone and they were full to the brim they didn't even talk to me for 5 minutes. It was okay since I also worked at restaurants I understood and found a table by myself. One server who was collecting dishes like crazy busy came and very unwillingly took my single boring order of a chicken momo and forgot to serve it for 25 minutes and I left without any fuss. Somehow, all the delivery orders, big orders in the restaurant was ready within 10 minutes. 😆 long story short, they are very understaffed, and weird. Never going there again.

As a Tibetan I know our food and I used to love their food and not only that I even recommend a lots of friends in the past . Since recently there are big changes on their food quality taste and the most importantly they’ve no concerns about the customers health which I experienced several times that was on the TO GO order ended up with : 1) The sour chive is obviously old and that thick skin edged chunk dough on each pcs . 2) Chicken momo is not even average taste and texture with the similar dough skin . 3) Chilly dip is old sour as it stayed there for a long time . When this place was newly opened the owner Chef used to cook and the food was excellent , now you don’t see him in the kitchen that causes dropped their reputation drastically.

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience in Lhasa Fast Food. I ordered beef momo, lamb ribs, and noodles soup. Unfortunately, I found a large cooked fly in the noodles after we had already eaten about half of it. I informed the server immediately, but no one responded or showed any concern. Now I’m feeling unwell and a bit nauseous, and I’m not sure how this will affect my health. This is a serious case of careless and unhygienic food handling. I also have photos and a video showing the fly in the noodles. I kindly request the concerned authorities to look into this matter and take necessary action to protect public health.

Few days back we ordered several dishes for pick up, two yellow laphing, one veg chowmein, two beef noodle soup and one beef thenthuk and specifically asked for little more soup for the laphing and less noodles and more vegetables in the veg chowmein. I paid, picked up and went away. When we opened the dishes, there was literally NO soup in the laphing, only 4sticks of green pepper and one stick of red pepper in the veg chowmein!!! I had to return those two terrible dishes. Laphing was from day before cos it was really mushy and the veg chowmein was also over cooked, tasteless and not to be outdone by those two terrible dishes, the restaurant chef/owner was literally unable to accept my complaint and instead told me, in his own words “don’t do this again“ as if my complaint was cooked-up!!! I think the concept of customer satisfaction is too raw for Lhasa fast food!!! Oh, never again in this Lhasa fast food in Jackson heights! Pls look at the pics, soupless-yellow-laphing and tasteless Veg- chowmein!

I honestly used to think this is the best spot. I have been there for dine in a lot. This time I ordered online. You guys literally gave me momo with no filing inside. I literally wrote a note how you have me stale momo last time when I ordered. And i believe you gave me baasi momo again bc there’s no way the covering is that thick and filling is low. Truly disappointed. You lost a customer for sure!

**Disappointing Experience at Lhasa Tibetan Restaurant and Bar** I had high hopes for Lhasa Tibetan Restaurant and Bar, but my experience was extremely disappointing. While I was enjoying my meal, I found a cockroach in my momo. It was utterly revolting! The restaurant was dimly lit, but even then, cleanliness should never be compromised. When I informed the staff, they were shockingly nonchalant about the situation, offering only a weak apology and no attempt to remedy the situation properly. This incident raised serious concerns about the hygiene standards of the place. I can’t bring myself to return after such an experience, and I strongly urge others to reconsider dining here if cleanliness matters to you.

After having Beef & Chive Momo and Lamb Thenthuk I had a case of food poisoning. The food did not taste fresh and was surprisingly underwhelming considering the NYTs had rated it well. Quality must’ve changed and I am disappointed I ever ate there. The momo was not enjoyable. It was stuffed with scallions and some beef but was distracted with fillings of what I believe to be bok choy. The Lamb Thenthuk had over cooked noodles within a mediocre tasting broth but another disappointment was that the “lamb” was largely heavily marbled scraps of chuck. The fat content was overwhelming and disgusting.

This was the most horrendous restaurant experience I have ever had. The service was terrible, we had to wait 20 minutes just to get water. All of the tables around us were a mess from the previous party, preventing new customers from being able to sit down and dine. It took over an hour to get our beef and chive momos, which only had tiny chunks of beef and were mostly stuffed with chives. Such a disappointment. This restaurant does not deserve to be in business for how colossally they messed up every aspect of the experience. Do not eat here!

I always loved their food but now the food doesn’t taste like how it used to few months back..so we had ordered beef Shabhaley which came out uncooked ..the meat was literally red in color, so they took the same shabhaley in the kitchen n deep fried n it came out burnt this time..$24 was not worth it ..even the beef n chives momo doesn’t taste like how it used to ..their quality had definitely gone down ..the dumplings size got smaller too. I was disappointed..the best part was that their service was good ..the waitresses were pleasant!

I ordered chive momo as I am vegetarian via Uber and they send me beef chive momo; I called and the woman said I ordered beef and chive momo which I didn’t as i can see what I ordered! So I told her u are lying and for this I can sue you and she got mad and tell me sue my restaurant; yelling at me and I told her to refund and she said return my food and I will refund ! I called Uber and they refund me but this place has no customer service and never will buy from there !! Be careful ordering veg items!! They ones who did mistakes and should apologize nicely instead getting yelled for telling they can get sued !!! Horrible customer service and she need to learn how to deal with pissed customer !!

Have no idea what happened to this place. Did the management change? Used to enjoy this place, but their prices have gone up by more than 50% within a year. There are plenty of other options nearby that offer better value. Won’t be coming back."

The server was kind of arrogant..not audibly, but the way they placed the dish felt like throwing away a book. I was very unsatisfied. I went there few days ago, and they added a 20% tip, which was $4, without my consent. It’s not about the money, but about consent and basic manners. I went with my girlfriend last time and the service charge was reasonable, but the next time, with the same order, the service charge was much higher even though I ordered the same dish and spent the same amount of time there. The food is good, but the waitress could have been a little more pleasant. Her expressions made us feel very unwelcome every single time.

Worst experience ordering food from this restaurant. Ordered beef chives Momo and Laphing. Momo was full of chives barely meat. And Laphing came with less than half of the container and no soup. Ordered soup laphing. This restaurant is a big SCAM.
