A coworker and I stopped at Little Ruby’s Cafe in Williamsburg to grab a bite to eat and get a little work done while we waited for our hotel rooms to be ready. We asked for a slightly bigger table to accommodate a working lunch and promised to move if the restaurant became crowded. The staff was very kind and sat us at a 4-top. The food was delightful. I had the chicken burger (not a burger, just a chicken sandwich, it’s an Australian thing) and it was perfection - crispy and flavorful. While the sandwich was great, the fries stole the show. I would absolutely go out of my way to get those amazing fries again. Our food came out super fast and they assured us it was fine to keep working after we finished eating. They even kept offering refills of our tea and water. It’s like they could tell we were weary from traveling all day. Between the friendly staff and the great food, I would highly recommend Little Ruby’s Cafe.
Wow! I absolutely love this restaurant. Came here for dinner with my family and all of our entrees were delicious. We stayed here until 11 PM just catching up and enjoying our food and company. We did not feel rushed at all.
This is such a cute and spacious spot with cozy vibes, cocktails, pastas & more. The spicy vodka pasta was fresh (wished the vodka sauce had more spice) and the drinks were strong (That Watermelon Drink cocktail had a kick). The Pineapple Cucumber Spritz mocktail was refreshing and the Popeye smoothie was delicious. Definitely worth a visit when you're in town! They have an extensive menu for drinks and food. This is their newest location. The service was great and the decor here is warm, airy and inviting. They have two dining areas. This is a perfect place to hang out with friends, lunch date or a business meeting.
I have to say we had an amazing time at Little Ruby’s! Kat makes one of the best espresso martini’s and the food was nothing but amazing! The Spicy Vodka Pasta with crispy chicken was a chefs kiss! Can’t wait to come back!
My favorite restaurant I love everything My love for ever Frozen Mango Margaritas 🌼 🥭 The pasta vodka with the crispy chicken oh my gart, to die for! The staff oh my gart so handsome and so pretty we love her 💋🥰🤩 Dorian was my server and Enrique described the food for us.
We had a great time. The food was really good and the wait time was really good and the atmosphere was more than 🆗. So recommend going here and get anything with eggs and halloumi. It’s Aussie style. So come here and spend money today! 🤪😃🤩🥳🤯🤫🧏🫃🏿
We were looking for a quiet spot for a late dinner after a party in Manhattan, and this place was perfect. We were seated quickly, the service was fast, and the food was hot and delicious. I had the chicken creamy pasta, which was excellent. A great option for a low-key, satisfying meal!
Surprisingly slay! Food, cocktails, and service was fantastic. Totally understand why this place was so busy.
Truly a GEM! Loved the ambiance inside and the food was impeccable. I loved the fried chicken schnitzel which you can add on top of any of their fabulous pasta dishes. This place will be a regular stop for me! And the yuzu margarita and espresso martini were the best I’ve ever tried.

Wow! First off what a nice quaint little restaurant , love the decor and the music. The food was a knock out 👏🏽 amazing flavor, the steak was fresh and tender , the salads were fresh and had great hints of citrus flavors everything was delicious. Highly recommended if you’re in Williamsburg area

I recently came with my daughter and the place is nice and cozy. I got Ruby's Ragu and a Riviera Spritz which was really good and the drink was strong in a good way. Jordy my server , was really good in checking up on us and making sure we had all we needed. Not once he forgot to check up when coming across. Definitely a great place to eat with friends and even family.!!
Little Ruby’s is one of those places that instantly feels like a local favorite. Bright, lively, and effortlessly welcoming, it’s perfect for a relaxed weekend brunch. I’ve been here three times now, and every single time I’ve ordered the crispy rice bowl—and I have zero regrets. It’s absolutely something to die for: perfectly textured, deeply satisfying, and impossible to get bored of. I’ve also tried the burrito and the pasta, and both were genuinely delicious, but somehow they still live in the shadow of that crispy rice bowl. When a dish keeps pulling you back again and again, you stop fighting it. This place gets it right.

"Stopped by Little Ruby's Williamsburg for a casual meal—the spot has a really nice, cozy Aussie-cafe vibe with a warm multi-level space and chill atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which made the visit enjoyable. Food was decent but nothing too special or memorable (we had [insert what you ate if you want, e.g., pasta or a burger], it was fine but didn't wow). Solid option if you're in the area and want something approachable with good service, but not a must-return for the food alone. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars—great people and vibes, average eats." You can tweak it to add specifics like what dish you tried (their menu highlights things like spicy vodka pasta, Bronte burger, avo toast, or schnitzel), or the time of day (brunch/lunch/dinner). If you're posting on Yelp, it already has a 4.3 average from ~46 reviews, so your take fits right in with the mixed-but-generally-positive crowd—lots of people praise the friendly service and cute space, while some say the food is good but not exceptional. If you want a shorter version: "Food was okay, nothing special. Staff friendly. Cute spot overall—4/5."
Overall a great night out although the pace at which your table is turned around means it’s probably not the best place for a leisurely dinner. We were in and out within an hour, which for a three course meal is pretty fast. Apologies for the lack of photos but we were too busy eating. The starters of calamari, truffle fries and salad were tasty and well done. The mains were fabulous. Three of us had pasta, the other had chicken schnitzel with what I would say was some of the smoothest mash potatoes I’ve ever seen! Everyone was satisfied—me included as I savored my Ruby’s ragu, which was simply delicious. We all shared a sticky date pudding to finish off. The starter and main servings were all of a good size, so good that no one thought they could manage a full dessert on their own! So, where did the fifth star go. The one thing that knocked a point off of service was my pet hate, servers removing plates before the whole table has finished a course. The other, we had to ask several times for some additional cheese to top one of the pastas, which left one of our party sitting and watching everyone eat and her food getting cold for some time. But those two slightly negative comments MUST NOT deter you from enjoying a meal at this great little bistro in Brooklyn. I’d definitely return.
Small menu but tasted great. Not what I was looking for when I ordered a burger but I was pleasantly surprised. Not cheap but a cute place for brunch.
I personally loved the atmosphere, it felts so chill and nice, specially if you stay outside, they have really good staff and the food was good, I just wish it could have more seasoning personally. The waiting time for the food was realistic plus they have good portions.
I came here for a Saturday brunch as part of Kin’s Coffee with Strangers program. They picked the spot based on the neighborhood I suggested, and reserved a table for our group—six women meeting for the first time over coffee. It turned out to be a fun morning; we all got along really well. The café itself was lively and buzzing with energy, as you’d expect on a weekend morning in such a trendy neighborhood. I started with a simple drip coffee and cream, while others ordered lattes or matcha. Everyone seemed happy with their drinks—my drip coffee was solid and flavorful, though I did notice they didn’t offer refills. For food, I had an avocado toast topped with pickled onions and a side of hash browns. The avocado was fresh and the tangy pickled onion added a nice kick, though the hash browns were clearly frozen and felt pretty basic. A couple of my friends tried other dishes and seemed to enjoy theirs as well. Overall, I’d say this café leans a bit pricey, but that matches the vibe of the area. The atmosphere was upbeat, the coffee was good, and it’s a great spot to hang out with friends on a weekend morning. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a lively brunch setting.
This is a place where you know you'll be back. It's got everything you look for when dining out. Firstly, the food is fresh and tastes like its quality ingredients. So the food is great. Service is terrific, and the vibe and ambiance are relaxed and chill. Great place to dine out as a couple, with friends or family. It's cean and well kept. Feels like a hip, upper scale diner. There are a lot of choices on their menu. I will be back for sure.

Nice brunch place with decent food. The kale salad was great but the ricotta hotcakes were pretty average

We decided to stop here randomly one night and it didn’t disappoint! I got the steak and fries, with a salad as another side. the steak was cooked to my liking. we also ordered a burger. only complaint the burger was that the bread felt a little too thick for the amount of meat that was in it. we wouldve loved a different bread choice. other than that, we loved!
Overall, I enjoyed my time at the restaurant. I was a bit disappointed at the fact that I couldn’t add grilled salmon to my grain bowl without such a steep upcharge of around $18(?), but settled anyway with the smoke salmon instead. Lucy, my server, was attentive, kind, and helpful in explaining the limits of my request—not her fault, she did all she was empowered to. She made the overall experience feel easy, welcoming, and comfortable. I may return, if not to try the grilled salmon, for the delicious mezcal margarita I enjoyed with my meal.

I’ve been to nearly every Ruby’s Cafe location across New York, and in terms of food quality alone, Bronte here is the best I’ve had. The meat was exceptionally juicy, well-seasoned, and noticeably more flavorful than other branches. However, the operational execution does not match the food quality. I visited on a Saturday shortly after 10 AM. The dining room was not fully occupied, yet the food took an unusually long time to arrive. It was evident that to-go orders were being prioritized over dine-in guests. I fully understand peak-hour pressures, but even at much busier Soho and West Village locations, I have never experienced this level of delay. This is not a staffing issue—it is a workflow and prioritization issue. If dine-in guests are made to feel secondary to takeout traffic, it directly impacts the in-store experience. Given how strong the food is at this location, it’s disappointing that operational inefficiencies detract from what could otherwise be the best Ruby’s experience in the city. Management should seriously review order sequencing and kitchen flow to ensure dine-in service is not compromised.
We came here for brunch just now and ordered 2 simple dishes. One sandwich and one burrito. I didn’t know how big the portion was so wanted to wait till the food arrives before deciding if I want to order additional side dishes. The 2 simple dishes took 40 mins to arrive. During that time, the party next to us had ordered, finished eating and paid. By the time the food finally came after the bartender followed up with the kitchen twice, my mood was beyond spoiled that I just wanted to finish the food and leave. Absolutely had no mood or patience to order any additional dishes and risked waiting for another 40 mins for the food to come Ps/ the bartender was very apologetic and offered coffee for free, which was appreciated.
So let me start by saying me and my best friend always come here. We heard about Little Ruby’s ( Williamsburg ) in May 2025 and have been about 10 times since…we truly do love it. We try our best to bring everywhere bc they really do have the best vodka pasta we’ve tried in NY. We came for Valentines this year , had a 9:30 reservation and it was sad to say we didn’t get the best service or dining experience that we usually get. I had put in the request to get a specific seating that we love( the last time the hostess did save it for us.. love her ) and it wasn’t available but that wasn’t an issue. Took about 20 minutes for anybody to come over to us , being that someone seen us looking around for a waiter and ultimately ended up helping us, still..no issue. We ordered drinks which we had a little debacle on bc every time we come I get a strawberry lemon drop but it seems like the bartenders pick and choose which flavor they claim they don’t have. Last time they said they don’t offer strawberry as a flavor like at all and this time it was mango..very confusing. My strawberry lemon drop was very grainy ( left reside all over the glass ) and I was told by the waiter that it was because of the puree..which is impossible bc I get the same exact thing everytime we come.. normally we always order our drinks with Darius the bartender. I got another drink no problem bc at that point we were over it. My best friend got prosecco with a shot inside the drink ( which ended up being $35 for the drink..i guess they charge $20 a shot now idk). Here’s the issue now , we get the same thing to eat everytime as I mentioned, the spicy vodka pasta with chicken cutlet. The pasta came out and we noticed it was a lighter complexion than usual and upon trying it we did not like it. If you look at any of the other reviews you can clearly see our chicken was lighter and looks noticeably different as if wasn’t seasoned at all ( i did include pictures which are the last two pictures on this review )It wasn’t seasoned like it normally is and it’s sad to say, that it was definitely a factor that affected our dinner bc it truly is amazing with the pasta. After the drink debacle , the waiter really wasn’t having it with us complaining so now we mentioned the chicken cutlet tasting like absolute nothing he was very much over it. Ended up getting it taken off the bill ( being that it was $16 together just for a side of chicken). My best friend didn’t eat her food so I ended up taking it home with me but we’re so sad that we had this experience. This is our favorite restaurant and we travel from long island just for it every trip. If this was our first impression of Little Ruby’s (being that it was on Valentine’s Day you’d think it’ll be up the par )we would not recommend it to anyone. Terrible experience at an amazing restaurant that we will be taking a break from.
