Had a great meal and experience here today. Sat at the bar and the bartender, Noa, was very friendly and sweet. She refilled our water glasses before we even knew they were empty and made tons of pretty drinks telling us what they were when we asked.

I ate here last night and last week and couldn’t be happier that we now have a Ruby’s in Williamsburg. I really love the vibe of this location, especially the back room. The food was delicious, as always at any Ruby’s. The classic cheeseburger, Brussels’ sprouts, and fries with truffle aioli are classics for me and always a hit. We also loved the crispy rice bowl and the spicy vodka pasta. It was my first time trying the calamari which was tasty, especially the dipping sauce, but the portion was a little on the smaller side. Another highlight about this location is that it has two bars that you can sit at. The cocktails were great: I loved both the That Cucumber Drink and the Yuzu Jalapeño Margarita. Can’t wait to come back (often). Thank you!

Skylar Nace-Gerhart

I was really excited to try the new location being a fan of the one in SoHo. The food and service was awesome. I figured I should try something new seeing that I get the same thing usually when I go there and my server Hector recommended the whipped eggplant dip which was fabulous! He also made the experience great by being funny and upbeat. Highly recommend this place always and now to have one in Williamsburg I will forsure be coming back and hope to continue to get Hector as my server!

Got to try out this place before it opened and I think this is going to be one of my favorite locations!!! The food, drinks and service was amazing and am excited to go back. Highly recommend the grain bowl, fries, calamari, brussel sprouts, whipped eggplant, both desserts!!! For drinks my favorites are the spritz, that watermelon drink, frozen mango margarita and the little ruby.

E
Eli Mathieu

Really excellent! I had not visited another location prior to this one and was extremely surprised at the quality of food, drinks, and service for the price

G

Had a great dinner there! From the moment we walked in it was good vibes. Team is very on it. We were seated right away and the food came out timed perfectly. The pastas are such a highlight you truly can’t go wrong. We had the creamy shrimp and the spicy vodka. So so good. But also the smash burger slaps. Ok but here is the real secret…. The frozen mango marg with a tajin rim. Drink of the summer! Run don’t walk. Can’t wait for the patio to open this summer!

Came for a casual brunch and left with an amazing impression and a full stomach! Destiny, our server, was very attentive and friendly the entire time we were there, she gave us great recommendations on the menu and made the experience even better. Definitely get a seat by the windows, it’s a beautiful atmosphere for the warm weather!

It was my first time eating at this place and the bartender Noa was very friendly and crated an enjoyable environment. Also the food was amazing. I had the ricotta hotcakes and they are fantastic. I was sitting next to a couple asking way too many questions!!! The bartender Noa did a great job of being nice and answering the questions.

Had breakfast here for the first time and it was amazing! We sat at the bar and the bartender, Noa, was very accommodating, knowledgeable and energetic! She was also very patient with the elderly couple next to us that were asking very detailed questions about how to make drinks. Recommend the two egg plate- the sourdough toast is incredible!

I love Little Ruby's and am so happy there's a new location now in Williamsburg. Such a great extensive menu, both food & drinks are delicious! My favorites are the egg sandwich, shrimp & avocado salad, and the ricotta pancakes. Good coffee, and big cocktail/wine menu. I'll definitely be dining here again and again.

J

Such a great vibe in Williamsburg - upscale but still approachable - amazing menu! I was first welcomed in to Ruby’s by the most friendly Australian host, Juno - man sat me down and set me up at the bar with a big smile and a good attitude Ezra was my bartender and whipped me up an insanely good NA Mocktail - I was there solo and he was super cool to chat with and made me feel at home! Great dude. The Service Manager Will stopped by to check on my time - did a great job running the show. Super cool of him to say hey. I ordered the Fried Chicken Burger and a side house salad - INSANE - highly recommend Easily my new favorite spot in Williamsburg - if you’re looking for a great Date spot or just a fun vibe for the friends this is the spot!

Wow, they have outdone themselves. The lighting, warm atmosphere, cozy seating, delicious food, and incredibly helpful and well-trained staff were wonderful. The energy of the place was buzzing with good vibes and my husband and I left happy and with full bellies! Also this new location is gorgeous and has two bars and two different seating areas. The butternut squash soup was actually the best soup I can remember eating in a long time, and the burrata was divine. Recommend it highly and happy there’s finally a Brooklyn location! ☺️

Today I had the pleasure of dining out with some friends for dinner, and the experience was truly delightful. The dinner service was excellent, and the food—absolutely delicious! Every dish was prepared with care and full of flavor. I even had the chance to see the chef in action, which made the experience even more special. It’s clear that he takes great pride in his work and genuinely cares about the restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with everyone smiling and enjoying themselves. The place had great vibes—chill, inviting, and full of good energy. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Out of all the Ruby’s, this one is hands down the best! Super consistent, amazing vibes, and the food? Absolutely delicious. I came here for dinner with my wife and son, and we had such a great time. The service was awesome, and the coolest part — we even got to see the chef cooking our meal, which made it feel extra special. I 100% recommend this Ruby’s — you’re going to love it here!

Little Ruby’s is one of our favs for laid-back breakfast or dinner. We just had brunch and sat outside in one of their curbside setups on a low-traffic street. It was covered, with proper level flooring, not just tables plopped on the pavement. I had the breakfast bowl and a Bloody Mary, and my husband had the Malibu bowl with a perfectly chilled glass of Albariño. Everything was outstanding, and our waitress Michelle was an absolute gem.

K
Krystal Battaglia

If you haven’t gone, you have to !!! The service and the vibes were exquisite. I had Kat as my waitress she was such a sweetheart . I ended up getting the crispy rice bowl and a side of fries, which was awesome.

Little Ruby‘s Café on Saturday closes at 2 AM Ruby's, was able to come in as a walk-in with no reservation. And we’ll see that immediately. The restaurant wasn’t crowded. I arrived around 9:30 PM. Parking was also available easily. Atmosphere: The atmosphere gave a very clean aesthetic. Everything was in neutral tone. they sat me in the back, which I was surprised because I didn't know they had a back part of the restaurant, but the back was way bigger. They also have a outdoor patio which a birthday party was celebrating. Now the bathroom I end up going to was really small. I love taking pictures in the bathroom and I couldn't really do that there. I'll buy you a drink Service: The servers were very attentive they was able to take my order within five minutes of me sitting down and at one point it did confuse my order with fries with sweet potato fries, and they immediately apologize and replace my order. Food: | ordered the creamy chicken, which was amazing, the sauce well-season it was like a sweet from the tomatoes but savory flavor. The calamari stole the show. They had a nice aïoli sauce I believe to it and the truffle fries is always the best. I always get fries with my order no matter what I get. Price: Prices were pretty affordable, left paying $50

I went for a casual dinner at the bar and the bartender Jenny was incredibly nice and sweet, the service was so amazing and her suggestions on food were very spot on. So happy to found this beautiful place and my new favorite bartender Jenny

Had the opportunity to try Little Ruby’s on its first night open and I have to say I’m pretty excited about having this place in the neighborhood! The food was superb and the space was lovely. Everything we had was delicious and there are so many more things I’d like to go back and try. The cocktail list was inventive and reasonably priced, as was the mocktail menu which I really appreciated!

Little Ruby’s is one of those places that instantly feels like a local favorite. Bright, lively, and effortlessly welcoming, it’s perfect for a relaxed weekend brunch. I’ve been here three times now, and every single time I’ve ordered the crispy rice bowl—and I have zero regrets. It’s absolutely something to die for: perfectly textured, deeply satisfying, and impossible to get bored of. I’ve also tried the burrito and the pasta, and both were genuinely delicious, but somehow they still live in the shadow of that crispy rice bowl. When a dish keeps pulling you back again and again, you stop fighting it. This place gets it right.

I highly recommend this place; the atmosphere is so pleasant, the food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. My waiter, Dorian, was wonderful; he made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, and his recommendations were spot-on. I 100% recommend this place and its service. We need more waiters like Dorian!

A

Good food, good vibes! The little ruby cocktail and the steak frites are amazing. Quick and wonderful service (thank you Chase and Hayley)!! Would come again for brunch. The only unfortunate thing was that I was sat next to this irritating French table that was being difficult. Wish we could screen the audience before entering.

M

Warm and comfortable environment with attentive and helpful team that served freshly made food and drinks. We shared the Spicy Italian Sausage pasta and the Kale Salad. Both were freshly made and so well done.

I had such a lovely experience at Little Ruby Café on Berry Street and North 8th! The staff are so warm and welcoming — it really sets the tone for a great morning. I ordered the spinach and eggs with sourdough toast and a latte, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. My server name is gabi The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make this spot such a gem in Williamsburg. Definitely coming back soon!

E

Food is good. Prices are decent. Drinks are good. The only thing is missing yet is the solution to make the outside sitting area warmer when it is cold outside. If the outside seats will stay for the cold season maybe one-two heaters will be great. Our server was very nice.

A coworker and I stopped at Little Ruby’s Cafe in Williamsburg to grab a bite to eat and get a little work done while we waited for our hotel rooms to be ready. We asked for a slightly bigger table to accommodate a working lunch and promised to move if the restaurant became crowded. The staff was very kind and sat us at a 4-top. The food was delightful. I had the chicken burger (not a burger, just a chicken sandwich, it’s an Australian thing) and it was perfection - crispy and flavorful. While the sandwich was great, the fries stole the show. I would absolutely go out of my way to get those amazing fries again. Our food came out super fast and they assured us it was fine to keep working after we finished eating. They even kept offering refills of our tea and water. It’s like they could tell we were weary from traveling all day. Between the friendly staff and the great food, I would highly recommend Little Ruby’s Cafe.

This is such a cute and spacious spot with cozy vibes, cocktails, pastas & more. The spicy vodka pasta was fresh (wished the vodka sauce had more spice) and the drinks were strong (That Watermelon Drink cocktail had a kick). The Pineapple Cucumber Spritz mocktail was refreshing and the Popeye smoothie was delicious. Definitely worth a visit when you're in town! They have an extensive menu for drinks and food. This is their newest location. The service was great and the decor here is warm, airy and inviting. They have two dining areas. This is a perfect place to hang out with friends, lunch date or a business meeting.

Nice little place for breakfast - Breakfast burritos with chorizo and tater tots were amazing. Our scrambled eggs were undercooked (drippy) and it took a while to get our waitress Sydney's attention, to get it cooked a bit more. We asked her for water refills too when she brought the eggs back, but she never returned for at least 15 minutes so we had to ask someone else who filled our glasses promptly.

Overall, I enjoyed my time at the restaurant. I was a bit disappointed at the fact that I couldn’t add grilled salmon to my grain bowl without such a steep upcharge of around $18(?), but settled anyway with the smoke salmon instead. Lucy, my server, was attentive, kind, and helpful in explaining the limits of my request—not her fault, she did all she was empowered to. She made the overall experience feel easy, welcoming, and comfortable. I may return, if not to try the grilled salmon, for the delicious mezcal margarita I enjoyed with my meal.

Nice brunch. As a fellow member of the commonwealth, I would make a couple suggestions to improve the “big brekkie” or in other words a “full English” The bacon is not great - they should get some back bacon, would be unique offering in the US. HP or some kind of brown sauce would also be a unique offering that I’m sure patrons would enjoy trying Finally it’s not really that big - a full English would also include a pork sausage. Just some friendly advice

"Stopped by Little Ruby's Williamsburg for a casual meal—the spot has a really nice, cozy Aussie-cafe vibe with a warm multi-level space and chill atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which made the visit enjoyable. Food was decent but nothing too special or memorable (we had [insert what you ate if you want, e.g., pasta or a burger], it was fine but didn't wow). Solid option if you're in the area and want something approachable with good service, but not a must-return for the food alone. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars—great people and vibes, average eats." You can tweak it to add specifics like what dish you tried (their menu highlights things like spicy vodka pasta, Bronte burger, avo toast, or schnitzel), or the time of day (brunch/lunch/dinner). If you're posting on Yelp, it already has a 4.3 average from ~46 reviews, so your take fits right in with the mixed-but-generally-positive crowd—lots of people praise the friendly service and cute space, while some say the food is good but not exceptional. If you want a shorter version: "Food was okay, nothing special. Staff friendly. Cute spot overall—4/5."

Overall a great night out although the pace at which your table is turned around means it’s probably not the best place for a leisurely dinner. We were in and out within an hour, which for a three course meal is pretty fast. Apologies for the lack of photos but we were too busy eating. The starters of calamari, truffle fries and salad were tasty and well done. The mains were fabulous. Three of us had pasta, the other had chicken schnitzel with what I would say was some of the smoothest mash potatoes I’ve ever seen! Everyone was satisfied—me included as I savored my Ruby’s ragu, which was simply delicious. We all shared a sticky date pudding to finish off. The starter and main servings were all of a good size, so good that no one thought they could manage a full dessert on their own! So, where did the fifth star go. The one thing that knocked a point off of service was my pet hate, servers removing plates before the whole table has finished a course. The other, we had to ask several times for some additional cheese to top one of the pastas, which left one of our party sitting and watching everyone eat and her food getting cold for some time. But those two slightly negative comments MUST NOT deter you from enjoying a meal at this great little bistro in Brooklyn. I’d definitely return.

Small menu but tasted great. Not what I was looking for when I ordered a burger but I was pleasantly surprised. Not cheap but a cute place for brunch.

I personally loved the atmosphere, it felts so chill and nice, specially if you stay outside, they have really good staff and the food was good, I just wish it could have more seasoning personally. The waiting time for the food was realistic plus they have good portions.

I came here for a Saturday brunch as part of Kin’s Coffee with Strangers program. They picked the spot based on the neighborhood I suggested, and reserved a table for our group—six women meeting for the first time over coffee. It turned out to be a fun morning; we all got along really well. The café itself was lively and buzzing with energy, as you’d expect on a weekend morning in such a trendy neighborhood. I started with a simple drip coffee and cream, while others ordered lattes or matcha. Everyone seemed happy with their drinks—my drip coffee was solid and flavorful, though I did notice they didn’t offer refills. For food, I had an avocado toast topped with pickled onions and a side of hash browns. The avocado was fresh and the tangy pickled onion added a nice kick, though the hash browns were clearly frozen and felt pretty basic. A couple of my friends tried other dishes and seemed to enjoy theirs as well. Overall, I’d say this café leans a bit pricey, but that matches the vibe of the area. The atmosphere was upbeat, the coffee was good, and it’s a great spot to hang out with friends on a weekend morning. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a lively brunch setting.

This is a place where you know you'll be back. It's got everything you look for when dining out. Firstly, the food is fresh and tastes like its quality ingredients. So the food is great. Service is terrific, and the vibe and ambiance are relaxed and chill. Great place to dine out as a couple, with friends or family. It's cean and well kept. Feels like a hip, upper scale diner. There are a lot of choices on their menu. I will be back for sure.

We decided to stop here randomly one night and it didn’t disappoint! I got the steak and fries, with a salad as another side. the steak was cooked to my liking. we also ordered a burger. only complaint the burger was that the bread felt a little too thick for the amount of meat that was in it. we wouldve loved a different bread choice. other than that, we loved!

It was okay? Food felt pretty cookie cutter and standard, brussels sprouts were oddly mushy on the inside but the flavor was admittedly great. Salad I had for $18 left a lot to be desired. Two snap peas that felt like an after thought, under seasoned shrimp, and some random chunks of avocado. I’d go back if I was in a pinch and for some reason couldn’t go elsewhere - you’re not going to get sick here by any means, but it felt like a corporate owned place that is trying to be a small neighborhood restaurant. I was annoyed the table had a random straw cover just left on it for literally the entire meal as well. Overall the neighborhood has plenty of other great options to pick from over this spot.

Great atmosphere, great for dates or friend meet ups… although you’ll be embarrassed by the service (or lack thereof). Just went to meet up with friends for a bite and drinks. Our server, Dorian, was curt and rude to our entire table and almost had to purposefully be waiting to deliver our drinks to our table as we often would wait 15-20 minutes (2x separate times) for him to return to us with relatively warm drinks (I saw him standing around looking at his phone repeatedly until he noticed me staring at him to bring us the drinks). Our server, Dorian, also rudely refused to split our check and refused to acknowledge anyone in my group when we walked past him on our way out… and we walked directly behind him. If that’s the kind of service that Ruby’s provides and tolerates from their workers, then I advise anyone with taste and self respect to avoid this place.

I’ve been to nearly every Ruby’s Cafe location across New York, and in terms of food quality alone, Bronte here is the best I’ve had. The meat was exceptionally juicy, well-seasoned, and noticeably more flavorful than other branches. However, the operational execution does not match the food quality. I visited on a Saturday shortly after 10 AM. The dining room was not fully occupied, yet the food took an unusually long time to arrive. It was evident that to-go orders were being prioritized over dine-in guests. I fully understand peak-hour pressures, but even at much busier Soho and West Village locations, I have never experienced this level of delay. This is not a staffing issue—it is a workflow and prioritization issue. If dine-in guests are made to feel secondary to takeout traffic, it directly impacts the in-store experience. Given how strong the food is at this location, it’s disappointing that operational inefficiencies detract from what could otherwise be the best Ruby’s experience in the city. Management should seriously review order sequencing and kitchen flow to ensure dine-in service is not compromised.

Really wanted to like this place! I live near by so I’ve been coming every Saturday for brunch since it opened. Unfortunately the food & service is incredibly inconsistent. Generally the folks at the bar mean well and are kind. This place needs more of them! Managers & servers are inattentive and rude (cold food, constantly forgotten orders, and food waiting time of 40+ mins…)

The food is very good but ultimately the service by the staff is really bad, I was waiting almost 20 minutes for a smothie that arrived at the end of my meal. While the staff is just talking

I’ve been a loyal customer of Ruby’s for years. The Bronte burger has always been one of my favorites, and I’ve enjoyed visiting both the SoHo and LA locations consistently. Unfortunately, after giving the Williamsburg location two chances, I won’t be returning—and here’s why: • Overstaffed but Underwhelming Service: There were more than enough bussers and servers on the floor, yet no one seemed to be paying attention or taking initiative. Service was inattentive from the start. • Server Indifference: Our server took a while to greet us, which was fine initially, as we were catching up. I asked about the eggplant dip and was told it would be available in five minutes—this was around 4 PM, so I assumed a menu transition. When she returned to take our order nearly 10 minutes later, she didn’t follow up about the dip—I had to bring it up again. • Food Timing Was a Mess: Our meals (a crispy rice bowl and Bronte burger) came out after 15 minutes. Fries arrived another 8 minutes later. The dip? 20 minutes after ordering—clearly forgotten and no longer wanted. • Overcooked Burger—Twice: I ordered the Bronte burger medium rare. It arrived well done. I sent it back—a first for me. The replacement came out still well done, and completely brown inside. No one checked in to see if it was better. Our server had already clocked out and left without a word. • Poor Food Quality: The burger lacked the seasoning that originally made me love it. It felt like a totally different product—possibly overcooked to mask low-quality meat? The crispy rice bowl was so dry it tasted burnt. • Final Frustrations: After our server left, it took 20 minutes and two staff members to get our check. On top of that, the payment device showed a “suggested” 20% tip, but the math was way off—a $72 check totaled $90 with the tip, implying a 25%+ default. I still tipped a true 20%, but left feeling scammed. My advice to management: Use the staff you have more effectively. Train your grill cooks properly, especially on basics like temperature. And if you’re going to push automatic high gratuity suggestions, make sure the service and food justify it. Williamsburg is a great location—you owe it to your brand to do better. Cheers

I’ve been to this restaurant before and have had decent experiences, but this visit was very disappointing. From the moment we walked in, we were told we only had the table for one hour and that it would be taken back, which immediately made us feel rushed and unwelcome. The service was very disorganized. A waiter I had never seen before took our drink order, but when I asked for a drink I’ve ordered there many times, she had no idea what I was talking about. I ended up choosing something else, which tasted like water, and had to send it back. After that, multiple random servers kept coming to our table asking if we were ready to order or if we were done, even almost taking my drink before I had finished and this was all before the hour was even up. I also noticed other tables being treated the same way, so it wasn’t just us. Overall, the experience felt rushed, unappreciated, and chaotic. As someone who has been here before, this was very disappointing, and after this experience, I’m not sure I would return.

I’ve always loved this place — the food is consistently great and it’s been one of my regular lunch spots since it’s close to where I work. However, tonight might unfortunately be the last time I come. When I arrived, the host who greeted me seemed quite uninterested and dismissive. She didn’t smile or say hello, which immediately set a negative tone. I understand that hosting can be a busy job, especially on a Friday night, but as someone who also works in hospitality, a simple acknowledgment makes a big difference. She seated me at the very corner of the bar, which was perfectly fine since I came alone. But midway through my meal, she came over and asked me to move my bag from the seat next to me because she said she needed to use it. I didn’t mind at first, but what felt strange was that neither she nor anyone else ended up using that seat for the rest of my meal — even though she had her own coat and laptop spread out just two seats away. It just left me feeling a bit singled out and unwelcome, which was disappointing considering how much I’ve enjoyed this place in the past. But the waiter at the bar was fantastic! But the whole experience just turned me off overall and I might not come back.

Disappointing visit to Ruby’s Williamsburg. We were seated in the front where there was barely any heat, and we asked to move to the back. Apparently there’s few tables available in the back with much better heating (why didn’t the host offer them?). My chicken burger also came with a cold bun and had to be sent back. Overall, the experience felt poorly managed, and I won’t be returning.

Edit/Update: Went for lunch at 2pm on a Friday and it took 15+ mins to get service. Ordered bacon egg and cheese on a GF bun and sweet potato fries, a beer, and their frozen marg. Food came out quickly but no sign of drinks or a server. Drinks eventually came around the same time the hostess came over to ask about our food. She noticed I had the GF bun and mentioned the fries WERE NOT GF. something the server certainly should have mentioned upon ordering. Took 15 more mins to flag someone down to close out (not our server) and he noticed the table prior hadn’t been closed out (but had obviously left….i wonder why). A joke of an establishment that I’ll never be returning to. The food was decent but with how many workers there are running around in there, the service was shockingly bad (saw our waiter twice - once to order and once to ask for to-go containers and the bill). We ordered food to share and didn’t receive sharing plates or serving utensil. The GF pasta was decent and nice to have in the neighborhood but the sautéed spinach was a bit soggy and the salad was OKAY. The seating is a bit cramped but they did a nice job with the overall decor.

Contrary to what is stated on Google, this restaurant is not spacious. Instead diners are piled on top of each other, with tables being spaced about 9 inches apart from each other. At least that’s how it is in the front room. After going to the bathroom I saw that there was a back room with additional seating, where tables were well spread out. Curious that this room is half empty during service while the front room has diners packed like sardines. The food itself came out incredibly quickly and was exceptionally mediocre. I ordered the crispy rice bowl with grilled shrimp added on. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp avocado bowl. We also ordered Brussels sprouts to share. Neither of us enjoyed the shrimp, it was unseasoned and flavorless. To add insult to injury, my plate which I’d paid nine dollars to add shrimp to, came with about 5 micro shrimp. The brussels sprouts were drenched with sauce. The cocktails were watered down. Lastly, the server was rude and inattentive. Won’t be going back.

Wildly overrated place. We heard great things about Little Ruby's but it was a major let down. The place was too crowded, with most of the crowd was being guided in the front of the restaurant while the back was quite empty. No space to move. My husband and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and shrimp avocado salad. The sandwich was completely flavorless and looked like it was put together as a second thought. My salad did not even include avocado until I pointed it out to a waitress. The hot capaccino was cold. Matcha was too diluted. It was obvious that everything was rushed. Overall, a horrible experience and won't be going back.

I came here once and loved the pancakes. Decided to return for brunch, made reservations for 2, arrived promptly and checked in with the host (brown ponytail and grey sweater) who told us to wait while she sat a few more ahead of us. No problem, its a busy afternoon, we stepped aside to wait. 20 minutes pass and the host continues to check in and seat others, including a walk-in party of two that came after us, with no reservations. It was almost like she was intentionally avoiding us. Each time we tried to make eye contact with her to check on our status, she would grab her iPad and walk away. So so bizarre, have no idea what we did to upset her but after 20 minutes of waiting with no update (despite having made reservations and receiving the "your table is ready" text message notification!) and not being able to even grab her attention to just check in for an update, we just cut our losses and went to Cafe Mogador right around the block. It was a busy afternoon and I wasnt even expecting to be seated right away, understand a hectic rush, but being so blatantly ignored and not even receiving an update set the vibe in such a weird way I didn't feel comfortable staying. Very strange experience. The food was decent from what i recall from the previous visit but dont think we will be back with service like this.

We came here for brunch just now and ordered 2 simple dishes. One sandwich and one burrito. I didn’t know how big the portion was so wanted to wait till the food arrives before deciding if I want to order additional side dishes. The 2 simple dishes took 40 mins to arrive. During that time, the party next to us had ordered, finished eating and paid. By the time the food finally came after the bartender followed up with the kitchen twice, my mood was beyond spoiled that I just wanted to finish the food and leave. Absolutely had no mood or patience to order any additional dishes and risked waiting for another 40 mins for the food to come Ps/ the bartender was very apologetic and offered coffee for free, which was appreciated.

So let me start by saying me and my best friend always come here. We heard about Little Ruby’s ( Williamsburg ) in May 2025 and have been about 10 times since…we truly do love it. We try our best to bring everywhere bc they really do have the best vodka pasta we’ve tried in NY. We came for Valentines this year , had a 9:30 reservation and it was sad to say we didn’t get the best service or dining experience that we usually get. I had put in the request to get a specific seating that we love( the last time the hostess did save it for us.. love her ) and it wasn’t available but that wasn’t an issue. Took about 20 minutes for anybody to come over to us , being that someone seen us looking around for a waiter and ultimately ended up helping us, still..no issue. We ordered drinks which we had a little debacle on bc every time we come I get a strawberry lemon drop but it seems like the bartenders pick and choose which flavor they claim they don’t have. Last time they said they don’t offer strawberry as a flavor like at all and this time it was mango..very confusing. My strawberry lemon drop was very grainy ( left reside all over the glass ) and I was told by the waiter that it was because of the puree..which is impossible bc I get the same exact thing everytime we come.. normally we always order our drinks with Darius the bartender. I got another drink no problem bc at that point we were over it. My best friend got prosecco with a shot inside the drink ( which ended up being $35 for the drink..i guess they charge $20 a shot now idk). Here’s the issue now , we get the same thing to eat everytime as I mentioned, the spicy vodka pasta with chicken cutlet. The pasta came out and we noticed it was a lighter complexion than usual and upon trying it we did not like it. If you look at any of the other reviews you can clearly see our chicken was lighter and looks noticeably different as if wasn’t seasoned at all ( i did include pictures which are the last two pictures on this review )It wasn’t seasoned like it normally is and it’s sad to say, that it was definitely a factor that affected our dinner bc it truly is amazing with the pasta. After the drink debacle , the waiter really wasn’t having it with us complaining so now we mentioned the chicken cutlet tasting like absolute nothing he was very much over it. Ended up getting it taken off the bill ( being that it was $16 together just for a side of chicken). My best friend didn’t eat her food so I ended up taking it home with me but we’re so sad that we had this experience. This is our favorite restaurant and we travel from long island just for it every trip. If this was our first impression of Little Ruby’s (being that it was on Valentine’s Day you’d think it’ll be up the par )we would not recommend it to anyone. Terrible experience at an amazing restaurant that we will be taking a break from.

horrible service, second time here first time food was cold this time my cappuccino was spilled all over the bag, and as I was cutting the egg the box broke from some water that was sitting there, we went back they apologized and refund and gave me a new one the second picture the new one still cold no fork or napkins and the food still had water in it, I’ve been to ruby cafe in Soho 100 times better, if you want to try it, please do not come to the Willamsburg dine in or out horrible service

I’ve been a fan of little rubys for years. In the summer I was delighted to see the a new location in Williamsburg since that’s more local to me. When I first started coming into Ruby’s in july, everything was fine. Last week I came to eat and the service was alright. I wasn’t upset and didn’t think too much about it. However, tonight I came in for dinner and the service was horrible. The lack of greetings, hospitality and service was horrible. We waited 5 minutes to be greeted at the table, then waited some more for our drinks. When the food arrived not once did we receive a wellness check. I waited 7 minutes for a server to ask for a lemonade and after 10 minutes got up and asked the bartender for the lemonade. He first started by saying he couldn’t give me the lemonade but after seeing my frustration just gave it to me. Which was even more irritating. Their “captain” Darius or Terrious ( language barrier couldn’t understand exactly) needs better customer service skills. He’s rude, not hospitable and if Ruby’s is short staffed they should staff appropriately so ensure guest satisfaction. I did not enjoy my experience, my food and didn’t even finish my lemonade. The energy in the place was horrible. A tip didn’t even feel appropriate but I still tipped regardless. Wished I could’ve told Gen Z Darius/ Terrius this to his face. Will be taking a break from this location.

NOT the place to go if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions. Ordered the avocado toast, asked if it was vegan (there are no allergen labels on the menu) and was told it would be without egg. Turns out the tomato spread has shrimp in it. This could have been a major issue if I had an allergy.
