Really nice cozy feel inside. Outside tables have warmers and the bathroom candles smell amazing. Espresso martini is a must! It has cinnamon and is so yummy.

The ambience here is elegant and intimate. You really do feel like you are transported to a different country and a different era. The staff is accomodating and knowledgeable...most importantly, they seem to know exactly when to come to your table.They're not overly intrusive or overly doting, which lends to the intimate atmosphere. The cocktails themselves are lovely and deliberate. I suggest the San Francisco Handshake - as far as I am concerned, it is the perfect cocktail. Don't forget to tip appropriately as a lot of labor goes into these beverages

Hotel Delmano is not a hotel, but a speakeasy bar on the corner of a quiet Williamsburg street. You would never know its a bar unless you walk in to be greeted by several well dressed bartenders, and rows of fine liquors and glassware. I love this place because its a nice place to bring a date or have a unique cocktail made by one of the best bartenders in Brooklyn. Not to be missed! Great place to impress.

Wow this place was amazing. Really fun cozy space with expertly prepared cocktails. But it wasn't pretentious at all. There was a DJ who played Travis Scott, Tribe, some Latin jams. Really fun cocktail bar. The food was awesome also. Expertly shucked oysters, classic steak tartare with pommes gaufrettes, as it should be served. Really skilled bartenders. I think mine was named Joe. He was super cool, as were all the staff. Recommend = 100.

One of my favorite bars in New York. Old world, New Orleans touches and wonderful cocktails. I recommend the Alibi-it tastes like a crisp christmas. I also recommend not going one a weekend night. It gets far too busy. I only wish that the bartenders still wore bow-ties.

The best cocktails on the North Side, this is a great place to go with a small group because you can grab a booth in their super cool back room and hear each other talk. Everything here is really well thought out from the simple bites to the incredible drinks.

This is the atmosphere, and more importantly, the cocktails you expect and want. Even at a time when it's easy to be transported to the 1890s (or 1920s, pick your classic drinking era) this place goes a step further -- by simply being a great bar, with great drinks, great small plates and great service.

Great place to grab a drink with cute outdoor seating area or inside that is very well decorated. The inside can get loud depending on how busy it is. They have a great selection of drinks so everyone can get something they want.

Great cocktails with a very sexy vibe. This place thrived during and after the indie sleaze days of the LES and early-mid hipster Williamsburg, when it was just skinny tattooed artists and polish people. So glad it’s still here and still good. Long live Hotel Delmano!

Love this place! Our server Amber was very professional and accommodating. Service was prompt. Oysters and crab delicious. If you are drinking wine it is better to buy a bottle, the prices are so good! It’s a bit of a scene so dress to impress, but I should not have to remind you that if you are living here, always dress your very best, be polite, and tip!

I arrived to the place on my first night in NYC after a long flight and a heavy jet-lag, and I left there with a smile on my face. It was a local friend who recommended me about this place and came there with me for a few drinks. The place definitely has its own vibe and style, which is something I appreciate about bars. The service was very good; the waiters were extremely welcoming and friendly, they knew the menu well and the waiting times were short. There is a large variety of cocktails available at the place, all of which were pretty good. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Lovely little place. Very cozy and romantic. They've got a wooden ladder on the wall of liquor, unassuming stucco(?) walls, those intimate half-round booths (good for a date), and little French touches throughout the decor that make you want to fall in love. But seriously, fantastic cocktails. Really good service. One of the best bars I've been to (maybe the best) in Williamsburg.

Great cocktails, and who knew it's been here for 10 years! Their cocktails rotate quite frequently based on seasonal ingredients so gives reason to come back again and again (other than the awesome vibes). Small food menu but huge drinks menu, this is a great date spot or also good for afternoon hangs with friends. Just remember to bring your wallet.

Really enjoyed this vintage-feeling cocktail bar. I got the Alabai and loved it. Pineapple + tequila + cinnamon, yum. Also had great vibes and a table in the back for 7. My friend had a cool dragon fruit drink. Each drink is about $16. Dark with candlelight, would be a good date spot.

Simply stunning. I had the 'red hook' cocktail (the house take on a manhatten) and it was easily one of the best mixed drinks I've ever had. Perfectly balanced flavors, great setting, brilliant friendly service. If give this place ten stars if I could.

Hotel Delmano – 4.5/5 We popped into Hotel Delmano for a quick drink while waiting for our table at Laser Wolf on a rainy Friday afternoon. Despite the weather, the bar was buzzing at 5:30 PM, and we were warmly greeted at the door. Opting for bar seating, we were quickly attended to by Lauren, our bartender, who was friendly and attentive throughout our brief stay. The highlight of our visit was the Meadowsweet cocktail—cucumber-infused mezcal, green Chartreuse, mint, ginger, lime, egg white, and a dusting of matcha. It was a beautifully balanced drink, with the cucumber and mint providing a refreshing base, the ginger and lime adding a zesty kick, and the matcha offering a subtle earthy finish. We also tried another mezcal-based cocktail served in a coupe with mint garnish, which was equally delightful, though the name escapes us. The ambiance of Hotel Delmano is reminiscent of a vintage speakeasy, with its curved marble bar, antique mirrors, and dim lighting creating an intimate and cozy atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that feels timeless, perfect for a relaxed drink or a quiet conversation.  Although our visit was brief, the quality of the cocktails and the welcoming service left a lasting impression. We look forward to returning to explore more of their menu and soak in the charming ambiance.

Great cocktail bar! Definitely gets busy so try to make a reservation on the weekend. Almost all of the cocktails I’ve had here have been so delicious. As far as food goes, the olives are some of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve never had a full meal here but all of the snacks/starters are great. Stopped in for a drink and a bite to eat before a show. We ordered the charcuterie board and the deviled eggs. The meats were fantastic as was the cheese. The deviled eggs had a strong pickle juice base flavor to them, they were pretty good. I liked the drinks but a bit on the sweet side and don’t seem too crazy strong. I appreciate that seating is first come first serve and the doorstaff doesn’t allow for wannabe insta models to cut the line ;) love to see that for New York.

Silly me I always thought hotel delmano was an actual hotel. It would be cute as a boutique one! I came here for drinks with my friend and loved the outdoor seating, very cozy and cute. A bit more off from the rest of main Williamsburg in my opinion which is great. The snacks are amazing and the staff super cute love the tattooed girl.

Went here to catch up with a friend from out of town. The cocktails were on the higher side of average taste-wise ($$ was average). I got the Devil's Garden and thought it was pretty balanced and tasty -- mezcal, agave, and mint were the primary ingredients. The place overall is cozy, which is nice, but the bar area (I usually sit at the bar--faster service) felt cramped. The way in which the bar space was utilized felt really nonsensical; there were containers crowding the counter tops which I felt could have been removed to allow for at least 1-2 more seats where people could spread out comfortably. I came here on a Tuesday around 7:30 and it was busy, so I can only imagine the weekends. Would like to come back in the summer when the outdoor seating is set up.

I used to love this place. The cocktails are still good but now they’re serving water in plastic cups and you have to order everything from their website, including payment. It’s a shame because getting a cocktail is an experience and that is NOT the experience I’m taking about.

The place ha a bit of a split personality. Get there during "off hours' (not the weekend, basically), and it is supremely laid-back, and more chill than you can shake a stick at. Very cool atmosphere - came here on a Thursday night and the place was bumping. More people making out in a bar than I've seen since I was in highschool. We ordered the chocolate and sherry dessert for 2 - the sherry was the worst I've ever had, and there were two pieces of chocolate and lots of grapes - grapes were the star of the plate. Cocktails were on point - unique, balanced and tasty. Adventurous descriptions, adventurous ingredients, approachable taste. Would come back only for cocktails. Also, the host crushed our seating / water pouring - 5 stars for that man.

Went here for a friends birthday. Interior is stunning and lots of booths which are good for groups. They don’t take reservations so either show up early or be prepared to wait. We were seated in the left corner booth which provided privacy for our group. However, the acoustics in the corner were particularly bad and it was hard to even hear your neighbor. They had a dj which was an interesting addition. Took a long time to get drinks.

This place can get crowded quite easily so keep this in mind before you show up. While the food here is okay, I'm more impressed with their drinks as everything I have had here rivals some top speakeasy's . Smoke and Flowers and the drink called Forgerty are officially my go to at this spot, especially if you are more on the dark side. Some of the other drinks, like the Alibi and Rattlesnake are worth mentioning.

Excellent service and cocktails, cozy and chilled vibe. Only issue was paying $9 for 1.5 devilled eggs. Tasty but for that price you should get a few more… inflation exists but that pricing is crazy, even for Williamsburg.

The customers in the tables outside didnt get their cocktails in glass containers(all plastic), which for this fancy establishment and 14-16$ cocktails takes away from the experience. They expect you too pay tips even though you have to order everything on your own through your phone and didn’t even bring or asked about water. it took 30 minutes for someone to come over and take our order, and they handed the bill to us at 12:19 tonight when they close at 2 (i even confirmed that with the waiter). it was jarring how poor the service was and how nonchalant/indifferent the staff were. it felt like we were rushed, despite being there well before close. i’ve dined/gotten drinks here multiple times and each time the service is either flat-out rude like tonight or just average. silver lining: the martinis are excellent though!

One of the worst experiences in terms of service I’ve ever had. The staff could not have been more rude. The first thing our waitress said to us was “wow there’s a lot of you” and walked away. She then laid down flat on the couch with her legs up to take our order and was not helpful at all. We didn’t see her once after that.

Food was really good and drinks as well. Really good place when it comes to quality but the service was unexpected. The server of the table next to mine made me and my boyfriend feel incredibly uncomfortable. She stared at him and then at my friends for no reason, we asked her if she needed anything and she said no. Then our server told us she was talking about our table with the staff but she wasn’t even our server. That girl is not only unprofessional but I seriously think she has some mental issues idk. Besides that, really good place and food.

There was an item on the menu called "tin of sardines", from Portugal none the less! Oh my! I simply had to see what an $11 worth of sardines look like. Well guess what, it was a literal tin of Bela-olhao sardines. $4 in the supermarket.

They charge you for tap water and they also ask you, in person, to give a 30% tip as the default tip. Take into account that there is no service, you have to queue to buy your drink at the front and then it is served in a plastic cup. I’m not sure what I’m tipping for at this point, but I want to support small businesses so I went along. They don’t give you the credit card machine, *they enter it for you* So they make you say out loud how big a tip you want to give. I always give 20% but I don’t like to be cornered into it. Especially when there’s no service. And I don’t like someone to make me feel like I’m not tipping enough because the default was 30% then 25% and last 20%... I am more than a wallet. Will not be back.

The host - tall with curly hair and a mustache singlehandedly brings down the rating for this place by about 3.5 stars. I would have given the place 4.5 stars if it weren't for him. An incredibly obnoxious human with no emotional intelligence whatsoever. Based on my numerous interactions with him (in which I've always kept my cool despite his unbelievably abrasive personality), and the myriad other negative reviews singling him out - I have no idea how he is still the host at this place after several years.

The place would be decent but the service is just so rude. Juliette was incredibly rude and seemed more interested in smoking cigarettes than anything else. Never again.

We’ve been here a couple times and each time the door guy has been incredibly rude and condescending for no reason. This time we decided to go elsewhere and headed to Maison Premier where we had a wonderful meal and experience. There’s too many amazing restaurants in New York to deal with that guy’s poor attitude.

Really unfortunate to see how much this place has declined since I first visited 7 years ago. 2 of the men working as hosts of the bar were very aggressive and rude towards my friend and I, making us feel unsafe to even be at the bar. Can’t comment on the drinks and whether or not they are still good. But the staff working there is very rude, making the bar not worth visiting on girls night out.

Have never experienced a ruder host in the 11 years I've lived in NYC (dark curly hair, with mustache and glasses). I mentioned we're a party of 4 and will have just one drink and they were extremely condescending and sarcastic and grabbed (!!) my shoulders to tell me "it doesn't matter how many drinks you're having." I was grossed out they touched me. I'll never come to this cocktail bar again.

The female Asian waitress was very rude. She spoke in monosyllables when questions were asked about the menu. Seemed agitated the entire time.

We have been long time customers of this bar. I really do appreciate all the other times we have spent here and the amazing cocktails served here. However, during our last trip here, the host a male with curly hair who was tall was very rude to my friend and I. We were simply asking for the next availability for a table and he decided to very sarcastic and rude to us. He made me feel very uncomfortable and sad that a host would talk to us this way. This bar is highly recommendable in my past experiences but due to the way we were treated by the host we feel like we need to steer clear of this bar and not recommend it any longer to our friends. A host should be welcoming first and foremost and not respond in any degrading or rude or sarcastic manner. I hope this issue is addressed as this bar in my other visits was great.

We (2 of us) showed up at around 1030 on a Friday August 15, 2025. Tall white guy who was the host stood outside. We asked for a table for two. He told us to sit down and wait 10-15 mins. We sat right in front of him. More people came after us and sat next to us waiting for their table. The people who sat next to us and came after us got seated before us. 2-3 groups of 2 people each who got there after us got seated BEFORE us. He was not confused and he knew where we were sitting. It was a Blatant disregard of our patronage, Failure to serve and seat us, and Piss poor customer service.

If I could give this place half a star, that would be the most appropriate rating. The bartender was not only extremely rude but also seemed to lack fundamental communication skills. During a work dinner with some colleagues, it was unfortunately disheartening to endure such passive aggressive behavior and, at times, disorganization from the staff. We spent over $700 for a party of six, and this experience has definitely led us to seek dining options elsewhere. It’s a shame, as we had high hopes for our evening.

I visited this location for the first time last night, and it will be my last. There was a rude white bartender with black hair who informed me that she would not serve me. When I asked why she was being so rude, she repeated her refusal while laughing, saying, "I will not serve you, and you don’t have a table here." I was really confused since I was at the bar getting a drink and was sitting on a bar stool. I approached the manager, who seemed to be in a daze, to explain how the bartender had treated me. He said, "Oh, I know she came in a bit out of it and even stuck her middle finger at me earlier." I asked, "Why is she working tonight if she's like this?" He responded, "Please do not tell me how to do my job." I was taken aback by how nasty and rude he was. As a woman of color experiencing this kind of microaggression, I felt deeply upset and still am.
