My favorite pizza in New York!!!🍕 Super delicious, affordable, and the guys working there are absolute legends, so friendly and fun. Love that this location stays open late every day! It could be a bit cleaner, but still 100% worth it. If you’re in NYC, you have to go!!! 🙌
In my 2025 Summer Pizza Top 5, Joe's Pizza in Williamsburg ranks fourth. The slices are delicious. The crust is crispy, and the tomato sauce has a wonderful spicy flavor. The mozzarella could be a bit less, which would also reduce the layer of fat on the pizza. The later the evening, the busier the place gets. The perfect post-club pizza. The waiting line is a bit shorter than at the original location in the West Village. Perfect location at the Bedford Subway Station right next to the Muhammad Ali Mural.
After trying countless pizzerias across New York, I think we can all agree that Joe’s stands out as an instant classic. The balance of quality, price, and taste is hard to beat—it truly delivers on all fronts. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or stopping by after a late night out in the neighborhood, Joe’s never disappoints. There’s something about its simplicity and consistency that makes it feel a bit like home. No gimmicks, no overcomplication—just authentic New York pizza done right.
When I heard this place was legendary, I had to get a slice. After a night out this place was an excellent spot for a slice of pizza and a bottle of water. Plus, we were there super late at night around 1 AM and the place was jumping.
Joe’s pizza an iconic Brooklyn pizza spot established in 1975 located in the heart of Bedford. Great pizza by the slices or by the pies, if you have a late night pizza craving this spot closes at 3 am daily !

Service is fast and the pizza the way I love it. Dark crust and thin. Servers were quick and pleasant. Only a few seats so we took pizza to go. Several bottled drinks available.
I recently stopped by Joe’s Pizza and had an incredible experience. I ordered a white slice and a pepperoni slice—both were absolutely delicious. I was pretty skeptical about American-style pizza. I thought it would be greasy, the dough would be bland, and I wouldn’t even finish half a slice. But oh my god, I was so wrong! I’ve tried a lot of pizza in different countries, and this one is honestly one of the best. I’m not sure if it varies across different locations of this chain, but this particular spot in Brooklyn was absolutely delicious. Plus, the staff was super sweet. I’ll definitely be coming back!
We stopped by Joe’s Pizza just as they opened at 10:30 AM, and it did not disappoint! The pizzas came out in about 10 minutes, fresh and super delicious. I tried the cheese, pepperoni, and supreme, and while they were all great, the supreme was my personal favorite. Perfect spot for a quick, tasty pizza fix—definitely worth a visit!
I'm Italian, you know, we love pizza, but I certainly don't go around looking for our flavors, so at Joe's I ate an amazing pizza, the slice and the Sicilian, both really tasty and with a perfect dough.

There is no doubt this place is iconic which can be confirmed by the photos with celebrities like Jimmy Fallon. If you want to have this checkbox, then this is the place. In terms of the taste though, I did not find anything appealing in the regular default pizza slice - it almost exclusively tasted like dough and there was not flavour from the baked cheese I’d expect to get from such plain pizza. The pizza was also warmed up instead of being freshly made. I’d recommend other places to try New York style pizza unless you are obsessed with the vibes or the history this pizza restaurant chain offers
Some of the most unappealing pizza ive ever eaten. We ordered the plain red sauce pizza and the vegetarian pizza. The plain red sauce pizza with cheese was like eating cardboard/leather with a suprisingly sweet sauce and thin wide bits of cheese that covered a decent portion of the sauced area but was ludicrously thin. Overall one of the most unappetizing pizzas ive eaten - worse than many franchised chains which i usually dislike. The vegetarian pizza did not have a crust like cardboard but was akin to frozen or generic vege pizza....nothing to write home about. Pros: the serivce is decent and the workers are friendly. The parlour definitely gives the vibe of a local institution. Overall Im genuinely surpised by how popular this place is but could not recommed it to anyone.
Don’t know if I’ve spent too much time in Italy, but thought this was pretty mid. Really quick service and was nice to enjoy in the sun on the benches outside. Pizza has no flavor. Its flavorless! I ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice of white/ricotta. The pepperoni did not have a hint of spiciness and it was blah!
