Incredible delicious beer and wonderful brewery experience here at TALEA. They do skew heavily towards the sours/fruited beers, but also have something tasty for everybody. I personally loved the Talea Brite. Great welcoming service from Sean as well.
Love this brewery in cobble hill. Awesome space great for larger groups. They have tons of NA options along with so many beers on draft. The cocktails were also excellent as well as the bar food. The pretzel 🥨 especially was delicious. Definitely worth returning to
Come in and see. This beautiful brewery has top notch beer as well as other great cocktails. They accommodate everyone and the atmosphere is very inviting. The staff is awesome and they carry grace. And the kitchen is incredible with the great food that is served. Pizza is to die for!!! Go take a look and experience a brewery you have never experienced before.
first thing you notice about this place is how beautiful and bright it is. it is spacious and inviting. its a brewery with a cafe vibe. we came here on their trivia night and there were almost 20 teams. they have a fun selection of beers and light snacks. definitely a great place to chill and hang out.
We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at TALEA and it was one of the best wedding decisions we made. The space is gorgeous and easily accommodated our ~110 person guest count. The staff was super friendly and provided top-notch service, including helping with catering setup, playlist recommendations, and keeping the drinks flowing. And of course both the food and drinks they served were excellent and very reasonably priced. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an event space in Brooklyn.
I always try to visit new breweries and decided to pay a visit to TALEA Beer Co during my stay at NYC. The brewery has an indoor space divided into the ground floor and a mezzanine. They also have a patio opened for warmer months. I saw food options available, but didn't try them. The beers here are pretty good. I admire their desire for experiments and several experimental beers on tap. You can order one of three predefined beer flights or go for short pours to try as many as you'd like. I loved most of the beers I tried here. My favorites were Milk Bar (Stout) and Espresso Beertini (Stout). Both were full of chocolate and coffee taste and were really smooth. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I do recommend this brewery to any craft beer enthusiasts around.
Talea is a gorgeous, open and vibrant brewery with some amazing brews on tap! The vibes are so fun here, the staff was super friendly, music was bumpn the ceilings super high and there was plenty of seating. You have to do the flights, we did the sour and fruity. The beers were fruity, crisp and light, banana tart was my favorite.
Omg I am going to come here every week. The renovation is gorgeous and I love the whole aesthetic, usually reserved for cocktail bars, but here applied to a taproom. It’s gorgeous. Oh also the beers rock, especially if you like sours, fruited beers, goses, there is a wide selection that you usually don’t find. They have wifi and ac, which is great for the daytime too.
So happy to have a brewery in the neighborhood!! This place is in a perfect location just off the F/G train stop on Bergen. There’s outdoor seating and large umbrellas (and tree) to keep you in the shade. Really appreciate them having non alcoholic options (especially cold brew!). The beer was great, I tried the Hazy & Hoppy flight. The pours are generous and I love the shape of the little glasses they use. My favorite beer was Lunch Date, a light hazy IPA that’s perfect for summer. We also got the Petite Cheese Plate which was perfect for two people. Loved the Camembert as well as the goat cheese and the dried apricots. So yummy! Welcome to the neighborhood, we will be back soon!!
Beautiful and charming place! 100% woman owned brewery with a lot of incredible beers. If you’re in doubt ask for a flight and enjoy!
Cute brewery in a prime location off Smith St. Warm lighting and bright accents with plenty of bench seating and some tables both indoor and outdoor. Love their sour/fruity beers, you can also take some to go or pick up merch. Staff are friendly and efficient, easy to get a hold of but not intrusive. Very nice spot to meet with friends or dates.
I had an amazing experience at Talea Beer Co. The beers here are truly authentic, offering flavors I had never encountered before. They craft beers with fruits and other ingredients in such a masterful way. Their light lager is impeccable, with no sensory flaws whatsoever. My favorite was the Tropicberry Tart Deco, a Sour IPA that vividly brings out the taste of guava, surpassing anything I've ever had. Highly recommended!
So glad I found this brewery online as a stop before our dinner reservation nearby. Such a cool ambiance, loved the bright airy space and the beer selections are plentiful! Can’t wait to check out the other location - but Cobble Hill was a win; for sure.

This brewery is one of my favorite spots! Tasty beer, yummy food, and an overall great environment to spend your time. Manuel at the bar is great and always provides top-tier service! They offer beers, cocktails, NA options, and wine!
We hosted our wedding welcome party at TALEA in Cobble Hill, and it was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere/vibe was so warm and fun, the drinks were amazing (three specialty cocktails were included in our package), and all of our guests had an incredible time. The staff was super helpful and made our vision come to life. 10/10 recommend for private events (and for a cool beer on a regular day!).

I was doing a beer and pizza tour of Brooklyn during my trip and started at Talea and it was a good way to kick things off. The bartender (whose name I forget, sadly) was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the beers of which there was a good selection and the two I had were both very good.

(January visit) I first tried Talea beers through their selection at Trader Joe's and was impressed with the quality and alignment to the flavors indicated on the cans. I've finally went into one of their physical locations where they serve up their products on draft and was equally satisfied. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they also serve cocktails in which out of curiosity, just had to try. The cocktails were pretty good and was nice to know that this place opens itself to more than just its great beers. Talea also offers small bites as well as having a partnership with a nearby pizza place (Forgot the name) that you can order from. Unfortunately, I wasn't too crazy about it. I ordered the White Lotus Season 2 and I feel like it had the potential to have more flavor but did not deliver.
Cute new beer hall in Cobble Hill. The decor seems very Instagram-able and service was quick. The beer is good, we got the Sour & Fruity flight, the majority of which were pleasantly tart but some were too creamy for my tastes. The outdoor seating is usually overcrowded & spills onto the sidewalk blocking pedestrian traffic which is a little annoying, but inside has plenty of space. There is a to-go fridge where you can pick up cans of their beer.

Nice place, Killer Bartenders, Good but not great beer ~ a solid spot

The prices here are very steep, each beer is liek 11 dollars the cocktails are like 17-22 dollars. I wasn't a big fan of the espresso martini. the space itself is nice and trivia was fun on Wed. but the music was a bit loud which made it hard to talk. Overall i'd skip this spot unless you want to go for trivia

I've been here twice now. The first time, I thought it had to be the worst bar that I'd ever set foot into anywhere in the world. The second time I realised it wasn't an accident. I have to be super clear: each time I've been here I have sent a different NYT opinion columnist. If you are a normal person with taste that's are good or norma AVOID THIS PLACE the drinks are universally disgustingly. I cannot stress this enough. Each time I went here I got multiple drinks and gave them to multiple people to check I wasn't going mad. They are all universally disgusting. They made me retch. Like, every single drink ive had here would be in the bottom ten liquids I've ever drank. I cannot stress enough I am deadly serious. They are all foul. They taste how the water under the rack I dry my dishes smells if I don't clean it out for a month and they all supposedly have different ingredients.AVOID!!
