Great location..great warm welcoming staff. The decoration inside is awesome. The crowd is great as well. It's a fun place to unwind talk play some.pool or darts, or dance . They have a great music selection off a jukebox connected to the internet. If you want to watch a game or event the amount of tv's in the bar ... you can watch them all if you wanted to.

Very cozy place... I recommend it at any time.

We have been going to Bartolino’s for over 15 years. The service is always impeccable and the food is always delicious, fresh, prepared with love and care. Since 2020 we have ordered delivery many times and have always been satisfied with our food. Tonight the filet of sole, the veal and chicken parmigiana all of the sides came in wrapped containers, and again our family enjoyed a great Italian dinner. Thank you to the chef, staff and delivery person, you made our family dinner perfect. We enjoyed it with the bottle of Pinot Grigio, grazie a tutti!

Had Funeral years ago I never forgot they treated us so kind but above all Food was great very tasty can’t find that around Astoria !!! And if you want Pizza stop by and order taste the sauce!!!

Took my mom and daughter for dinner tonight. We were pleasantly greeting by the owner, Bobby and the waitress, Dorothy. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was great! As we had dessert, we watched the Mets beat the Phillies and advance to the NLCS.

Do not judge a book by its cover! The place is small and unsuspecting - it used to be a low key neighborhood bar frequented by locals - but the food is UNFORGETTABLE! We had the spaghetti bolognese, chicken piccata (with side of pasta) and the vanilla and chocolate cannolis. The food was fresh, flavorful, and filling! Portion sizes are not gigantic, they are “Goldie locks” sized. The spaghetti bolognese was hands down the best I’ve ever had! The menu is very straightforward - they don’t overwhelm you with “novelty” dishes, they’re not trying to lure you in with gimmicky dishes - they have the classics, so you really can’t go wrong! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and the manager and owner were very warm and welcoming. Ambience is very low key, no fuss no frills - (we showed up in sweats lol) HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you’re looking for a fantastic, filling, and casual meal, this is the spot!! Happy they added this place to the neighborhood :)

I used to live in Astoria right of the Ditmars train stop, and occasionally we come to a astoria to enjoy some good local food, a friend told me that there is a new place that had open about few months ago, Bartolino’s and so my wife and i decided to give it a try, right away we were greeted and seated by a server, we order a few dishes to share but the dish tat stand out from the rest of the food we’ve orders was a pasta dish with Italian sausage broccoli rab and garlic and white wine sauce, it wasn’t on the menu it was a recommendation from Jose our server, usually when we go to Italian restaurant we drinks wine but this time i asked Jose to surprise us with something delicious and refreshing I am a bourbon drinker and my wife love white wine spritz, so he made my wife a delicious and very refreshing aperol spritz and he made me an old fashioned, it was so dam good that we have a few rounds of those and we usually just have one drink, for sure we will be back and this time I will bring the whole gang. THANK YOU JOSE YOU ARETHE BEST !

Such an amazing Italian restaurant. We walked in our party of four with no reservation and the maître d’ greeted us and quickly walked us to our table. Everyone greeted us and thanked us for Dining with them last night. The bread was warm the butter was sweet. The drinks were perfection. My wife Stated she never had a nice tea that was so delicious.We had the shrimp Parmesan and I had the gnocchi with bolognese sauce which melted in my mouth. Such a pillow of happiness. And to top it off the end of the night we all had complementary lemon-cello. This was my first time going there but this will not be the last time. We left with our bellies fully and Smiles on all of our faces. Such a hidden gem I will be a regular!

I have been to this place for Friends reunion and had an awesome time, My husband won in a raffle gift certificates for this restaurant we went in tonight to eat dinner, I had the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer they was so big and delicious, my husband had the muscles and he enjoyed them very much, usually when I go to an Italian restaurant I always order chicken francese but this place can top that!! They add mozzarella cheese and fresh tomatoes... it was so delicious! ,My husband had the seafood Fra Diavolo the plates were unbelievable there was so much food we had to bring some home, The manager Dominic was such a sweetheart if you need a good wine for your dinner ask him, and our waiter Benny was a real sweetheart he was on top of everything. This place deserves 5 stars

I had to come to Astoria and found this place. Highly recommend you spend an evening here the owner was here to greet me, talked to me about the specials and I asked him to make whatever he wanted. He gave me ravioli in carbonara sauce, eggplant, Pomodoro, and garlic bread and Pellegrino with lemon. He sat down next to me, talked to me, told me stories and shared his rib eye steak with me. This place is as much about the ownership as it is the food he cares about his restaurant and his customers don’t skip this one.

I’ve never had shrimp scampi as good anywhere as I have here. Years pass and the food is still always as good. The calamari is always fresh and crispy from the fryer and the pasta is always so good you wish you had a second stomach to fill it all. I’ve also had their pizza from Bartolino’s pizza and you can’t go wrong with a slice!

If you are looking for a decent traditional Italian meal, they will have what you want. Everything was satisfactory. Service was a bit slow, but it felt like they were short staffed and training new employees that night, so we were not to bothered by that. Otherwise it was an enjoyable night out with friends and an average meal.

This bar is closed I don't know if it's permanent or if they just shut down for the entire Thanksgiving week but it's the second time this week that I've gone there and it's been closed! No sign in the window indicating either way

For a big restaurant with 35yrs experience I expected more Not much flavour I had the lasagna The service was ok Not many people when we visited

the staff here were great. professional, friendly, and attentive. this is personal preference, but the pizza here is not for me. it has a thick, doughy crust, which defeats the purpose of having pizza (just in my opinion!). the interior of the restaurant has potential, but the floor in the back was soaked from overflowing water in the restroom.

My family went in for a birthday dinner and was ignored for 15 minutes after being seated with no other people seated besides two other families that were already eating our waiter was rude and ignored multiple requests by my family regarding food. Once the food came it was cold and had not one gram of salt or seasoning throughout all our food it was an entirely bad experience since we were charged for a bland shrimp scampi that wasn’t eaten and got a hidden fee for paying with card that wasn’t disclosed to begin with.

The bartender was nice. But I asked for a shot of vodka I got it room temperature. The only great thing about the place is that they have a pool table. The owner had a nasty attitude towards my fiance because of that he lost the only customers he had which were us.

Jack is the man! Beer and a shot for $5 doesn't hurt either. :-) Crowd can be a little rough but only verbally. Good tunes too. **UPDATE** since Jack and Eric left this place is awful again. Walking by there on a Saturday night and seeing two people in the bar at 9PM says it all.

I saw on Facebook that you let dogs eat from your dishes. Thats disgusting and should not be allowed. The dog is actually in the chair and the father is feeding it with a fork. This is unsanitary. I don't know if you know this but you should not allow it.

I tried to bring my parents here the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the older man “serving” us seemed absolutely wasted and was getting more inappropriate with us as the minutes ticked on. We were one of two families in the whole restaurant and it appeared that the other table knew him and was putting up with his drunkenness or whatever it was, but we left before our drinks were even served (over twenty minutes had passed since we sat down) because we were so uncomfortable.
