Bridgehampton Inn Restaurant

Came for dinner and plan on returning the next time I'm in the Hamptons. Can't believe I've driven past for so many years without realizing there was such an outstanding restaurant. Every dish was perfectly executed. The poached lobster was divine. The grilled Octopus was also outstanding. Good wine list and cocktail menu.

All around excellent place for overnight stay and to enjoy a great meal! We stayed in the West Wing, the room was clean, stocked with basic essentials and welcoming. We enjoyed an absolutely delicious dinner on the patio and returned for breakfast in the morning. On top of the food and lodging I only have nice things to say about the staff. Everyone was friendly and ready to serve.

Excellent dinner! Came here on a Friday night with a large group. Everything was fantastic: food, drinks, service, ambiance. Best group dining experience I've had in awhile.

Best place to stay at the Hamptons. We were impressed upon arrival the hotel is even more beautifull in person than it shows in the pictures. Our flight was delayed and our check in was at 10 pm. Although the front desk was closed the hostess waited for us and gave us a very warn welcome making us feel at home. In the morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast overlooking the beautifull garden. Just a wonderfull place!!

Fabulous stay! Beautiful and comfortable room! Very clean, terrific garden, wonderful breakfast and a great bed! Serene was just great and very accommodating! The Inn is in a great location and will definitely be back!

Ate at the restaurant last night June 4. Glenn & Dawn treated us royally. Food was superb. This just became my new go to place in the Hamptons. Best dinner I’ve had inyears. Thanks so much

I just had the most wonderful stay at the Bridgehampton Inn ever. The staff was so very nice and I loved the breakfast! Serene and her team's hospitality was the cherry on the cake of my stay.

The food, drinks & atmosphere are top tier. By far the best restaurant in the hamptons.

Chef Brian made some fantastic Kobe beef sliders, seafood chowder and oysters for us - outdoor dining right on Main Street, but quiet and wonderful.

Rooms are super modern, clean, A/C, free parking. Staff is very friendly and the location is great too. 100% Recommended.

Cerene was amazing from start to finish. I would call the hotel direct. I used Expedia and had issues but she worked them out and all was fantastic. Highly recommend the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was also amazing and so were all the employees. From one business owner to the next the place was very accommodating and the people were even better. A+++++ We will be back!

WOW! Where has this restaurant been hiding all this time! Tonight we enjoyed the most beautiful, well done meal on the east end that we have had in a very long time. Kyle is an incredibly creative generous integral part of this team. The culinary experience was over the top delicious. Do not end the summer without a dinner at this property!

We loved our stay at his inn for our nephew's wedding! The staff were super friendly and always ready to help, which made everything feel easy and relaxed. Our room was clean, cozy, and perfect. The whole place has such a warm and inviting vibe. The breakfast were tasty, and really appreciated all the little touches that made us feel welcome. This inn was a huge part of a great weekend and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, charming place to stay. Mostly, thank you to Cerene for assuring our stay was wonderful.

An old-fashioned Restaurant with rooms in the best possible way. Convenient location in Bridgehampton with adequate parking in the rear. Friendly reception, lovely room with a working gas fireplace! Only minus is that our room at the front had road noise so you may want to ask for a room at the rear. Fabulous restaurant. Excellent chef and service. Charming dining rooms, one with a working fire. Reasonable prices especially for the location. A gem.

My husband & I brought our family to the Inn for a weekend birthday celebration. The Inn is centrally located, charming and very comfortable. The breakfast and dinner offerings were both delicious and beautifully presented. The service was perfection. We hope to return and if you are visiting this area of the Island, you should definitely stay here!

As a real estate agent with Saunders in Bridgehampton, I love sending clients to the Bridgehampton Inn and Restaurant. Rooms are perfect and spotless. The food at the restaurant is Michelin Star quality.

We had a wonderful experience at the Bridgehampton Inn & Restaurant! The food was absolutely outstanding—beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor and the service from our server was warm & attentive. The ambiance is charming and cozy, with that classic Hamptons elegance that makes you want to linger over dessert. We were honestly surprised that we haven’t been here all these years—it’s truly a gem that deserves all the praise it gets. The only small downside was the maitre d’, who came across a bit less welcoming than the rest of the team. Thankfully, the rest of the staff more than made up for it with their friendliness and professionalism. Overall, we loved our evening and can’t wait to return!

Did not stay at the inn but had dinner. It was wonderful. The outdoor patio is beautiful! The appetizers were all lovely. There were four of us. I must say the soft shell crab main course was a home run. The filet was quite tasty as was the corn chowder. Coffee is served French press style as was the tea. Service was very professional and attentive. Will be back and highly recommend.

I stayed here for 2 nights. It was perfect for what I needed--a clean, comfortable place, and they were very accommodating. The rooms were large, but quaint in appearance, and warm--or rather good temperature control in the middle of winter. There are a lot of areas where you can just sit and hang out around the large house/inn setting.

Highest rating overall, except for BREAKFAST. Hostile to strap hangars dropping in for Sunday breakfast. Tables were not ready by eight, as publicized, yet an overly aggressive server made no effort even to give us a towel to wipe the morning dew from the table and chairs. Breakfast came without eating utensils or even napkins and by yet (the third) another server who was young, badly trained and seemed confused about her role. This note addresses service, and is not intended lessen the high quality the Inn under all other circumstances.

Great dining atmosphere on the patio. Food was delicious, terrific menu options, excellent service.

Beautiful little spot with top notch food. The management could kick the heating down a notch at night, but other than that, top class.

Just got back from a weekend stay at The Bridgehampton Inn- We were most warmly welcomed by Cerene the hotels Inn Keeper of 30 plus years!! The hotel is family owned and operated so they work very hard as a team to make your experience very pleasant!! The room was very well appointed with a renovated bathroom. SUPER comfortable bed with Amazing pillows, sheets and duvet!! Added bonus was the Restaurant and bar (breakfast to order which is included in your room rate)! Food and drinks were perfect!!! And you must go to Loaves and Fishes Cook Shop which the Family owns which is located next door!!

The lady who answers the phone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also delicious. However, I am not coming to stay here again for a couple of reasons. The room was small with no view. There was an unpleasant odor throughout the entire house that probably comes from some sanitizer. My bed linens had stains on it, and the pillow case had a rip. Also had dinner at the restaurant. Steak was ok. What really made me uncomfortable was at the end of the dinner, the waitress stood really close to me as I was leaving a tip on the electronic charge machine. It was uncomfortable and pressurizing, to say the least. Also, not much to see around the area.

Food was excellent and so were the staff. The two night stay in the "new" part of the inn wasn't the best but the staff made sure we were as comfortable as possible. The sprinklers in all the rooms were leaking water all night (we had been moved rooms after the first was leaking only to find the next room was leaking even more). There were two HUGE bangs during our night's sleep (around 3am and 5:30am). Both were utterly terrifying; I thought we were going to fall through the floor or something was going to fall through our ceiling. They sounded like explosions and were right over our bed in our room. The second loud bang even left a huge crack in the ceiling. After the second one we had to pack our things and leave - I was terrified. The staff, again, did apologize and promised they would look into it calling the builder and explaining that it must have been something that fell in the attic. Definitely a memorable Valentine's Day weekend getaway to say the least. Unfortunately, I would definitely not return after that experience. I could barely fall asleep at home last night as it was thinking of the loud bangs.

It's not clear from the menu but except for the steaks and chops and flatbreads the plates are small and cost $25-28. You need to spend about $50 each to eat. For some people that's just not an issue. The food was good for me because I ordered the pork chop. My wife had a flatbread and soba noodles and she said it was very ordinary for about $48. My two sides of spinach and mashed potatoes were $12 each or $24 making my $32 pork chop dish $56 total.

Unfortunately this went from one of the best dining experiences our family had ever had to one that is tainted by a very bad aftertaste. Heard great things so booked an outside table for Mother’s Day dinner. The staff and waiter were incredibly welcoming. Food and drinks amazing. Setting exquisite. But on two occasions, without asking for or ordering the waiter suggested we get an extra appetizer - “the kitchen won’t notice” - and later after specifying we only wanted one desert he again insinuated he would add an extra one with “would you eat it if I brought it out?.” All of us at the table thought it was just a very nice gesture by the restaurant considering it was Mother’s Day and we were spending north of $300. Much to our surprise when the bill came the app and the desert were included. I didn’t want to make a scene so took note of this and paid the bill and still gave a 20% tip. But after my family headed to the car I needed to mention this to the manager and did so. I did not ask for a refund as it wasn’t about the money, more about the principle and feeling scammed. On the ride home the restaurant called first to apologize again and tell me the next time we come drinks are on the house. Nice gesture, but won’t be back. And then called again disputing my assertion, only to then see the double desert charge on the bill and apologize again. Too bad. Such a classy, world class place. But tough to overlook the shenanigans with the check and upselling cloaked as comps. Wanted to post so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Total rip off. Menu online doesn't mention that listed entrees are "small plates" Waitress tells you when you go to order. My husband's side of spinach was about 3 tablespoons for $12.00! Intentionally misleading! Don't go. To top it off $40.00 fee to drink your own wine.

The restaurant has no business being open. The service is outstandingly bad — crazily slow and rude. Unless you have a taste for a long, frustrating meal — we waited 45 minutes for drinks and an hour for food — with abuse from the staff, avoid the restaurant at the Bridgehampton Inn!

Stayed for the weekend and had major bathroom issues. Our original room had a shower without pressure and broken faucet. A plumber could not be called in time so we were switched to another room. While I appreciate the relocation, this whole ordeal which included moving all of our unpacked items, set us back and made us late to an event. The second day (in the new room) also had shower issues. The next day, the shower only had scalding water, and then the faucet knobs broke and hot water was running for over an hour as we were rushing to get ready and it could not be fixed. My husband had to go to another room to take a shower and this made us late for a wedding. To top it all off, there was no mention of the inconvenience or offer to make our experience right. I did attempt to follow up with management about the situation, but it has been over a week without a response. We selected this hotel for its location and great reviews, but sadly we had an extremely frustrating experience and I would not recommend this hotel.
