Tip: Try the clam pizza; it's worth the hype. If getting pepperoni, ask for it fresh to avoid dryness.

5/5! F&F is my current favorite cheese and pepperoni slice in NYC. I came here after seeing Babish rate their slice a 9.9, and happy to say my high expectations were met. Both the tomato sauce (a hint of a slight red wine flavor) and mozzarella cheese are extremely high quality and flavorful, but the real shining star of their pizza is the crust. Perfectly charred (but not burnt), crispy and slightly chewy, with incredible seasoning and flavor. I also tried the Sicilian slice which was made with high quality and flavorful focaccia bread, would recommend getting that one as well. I'll continue to try more pizza places throughout NYC but for now F&F is my top place to get pizza in New York. Been here multiple times and it's never been that crowded with minimal wait (F&F is in a quieter residential neighborhood). They have a small amount of seating indoor and outdoors.
5 stars across the board. Super nice staff and a pizza place that isn't afraid to char the pizza. If anything thinks this place burns the pizza, get out and go back to pizza hut. Will be coming back here in years to come.
I’m from NJ but was shopping in Brooklyn and hungry for a bite to eat. I stumbled on this pizzeria and their garlic “knot” pizza is SO GOOD! Highly recommend this establishment!
I made it a mission to stop here after hearing Andrew Rea (Binging with Babish) rate it almost the perfect pizza in NY. I tried three different pizza spots during my trip, expecting F&F to completely outshine the others, but that wasn’t the case. Honestly, all three were pretty similar, thin, crispy and oversized slices. The one thing that did stand out at F&F was the dough. I can’t quite explain it, but it definitely had a better flavor. If you’re already nearby, I’d say it’s worth a stop. But I wouldn’t go out of my way or trek across town for it like I did.
I was in the neighborhood shopping on a Tuesday evening after work - so glad I ended up here because it was amazing! The clam pizza (7$/slice) was the standout. Just wow - super fragrant, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely worth coming back for. I also tried the sausage and sage (4.5$/slice), which was alright; it’s great when you get a bite where the sage really comes through. The dough itself was delicious, crisp, flavorful, and with a slight sourdough-like aroma. I’d definitely make the trek out here again just for that clam pizza. They have lots of seating and free water! There was no wait at all either!
Their pizza was perfect!!! We tried their pepperoni, sausage with sage, partanna and sicilian pepperoni. Each one of them was so delicious and had the perfect texture, seasoning, chew, crisp… every bite was perfect! And you can taste they use quality ingredients. Highly recommend!!!
We came here to try slices of pizza and got one with pepperoni and another that had sausage. They heat up the pizza and then we sat in the back area where there is outdoor seating. I thought both slices of pizza were awesome, excellent crispy crust and great flavor with quality ingredients. They have a selection of different types of slices which I think I prefer over ordering a whole pizza here. Staff was nice, prices were reasonable. It's a great way to try pizza by the slice.
Came from DC on a whim. Saw some Instagram influencer rave about it. I had free time and a spontaneous attitude and had F&F on the mind, so I took a bus and a subway ride and an extra little walk and came by. The Clam Pizza is great. Very well worth its social media reputation. The clams were like little sausage bites with the chewiness of, well, clams...and they went so deliciously with this slice of pizza. The Cacio E Pepe slice was also fantastic. Nice mild little kick to each bite. Definitely a reliable piece of pie. Since I came a long way, I had to get another slice to go. The Partanna (onions and peppers, I think it was?): absolutely a perfect chaser after my first two slices. The crusts were perfectly complementary, perfectly foldable and chewable. The cheese-to-sauce balance was oh-so-satisfying. The atmosphere, too, was charming. The staff were friendly, despite it being a busy Saturday night. The vibe was filled with local cool people in a Brooklyn-neighborhood sort of way. I really loved it. Well worth my spontaneous trip for pizza. What...? You never traveled to another state for dinner before? 💫 F&F Pizzeria 🥁🥁🥁... 10 out of 5 stars 🌟
I changed my views of pizza after having a slice when my husband found this hidden gem recently and brought me in to try on a random date night. My husband is a pizza lover. Unfortunately, I never like pizza in general because of multiple reasons-too much dough, the sauce is bland or it’s too much grease and most importantly I don’t feel good or satisfied after eating it. However, this place totally makes pizza as one of my favorites when I just want to grab a bite in the neighborhood! My husband was so shocked after I told him that I went to grab some after work by myself the other day. My go to drinks are either root beer or Siciliana soda- blood orange flavor :)
I live outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. But I am a huge PIZZA fan. I’ve had Pizza in more than 40 states and at least as many countries the best is in New York City and the best of New York City is in Brooklyn. On this particular trip to the Big Apple, I tried three different pizza places. F&F was one of them. I heard Jimmy Fallon rave about it so I thought I’d give it a try. It did not disappoint. The crust was fairly thin with a white crisp but definitely had the all important chew in the middle. Sauce was a little sweet and tangy toppings were balanced. I was especially surprised at the flavor of their regular Slice, which could be called just a cheese slice, but that would do it a disservice. I strongly recommend this place. Note: I ate at the slice shop a couple of doors down from the main restaurant.
This is such an awesome pizza spot, especially during the warmer months - combining top-notch pizza with a chill outdoor area in the back framed by grape vines. The pizza is amongst the best I’ve had in the city with an excellent crunch and ample fresh toppings. While all are excellent, the clam pizza is amazing - lots of clams, mozzarella, Parmesan and finely chopped parsley finished with a squeeze of lemon - all combining to form the perfect bite. I will be back!
We had a great Valentine's Day dinner at F&F with some good pizza and great pasta! The service was stellar and everything looked amazing as it came out.
We accidentally booked a table at the full restaurant next door (thanks, Google), but they let us leave our reservation and head next door for slices. We ordered clam, pepperoni, cheese, and Partanna. The Partanna was our favorite, though the clam slice was unexpectedly delicious. A chewier crust, great flavor, and solid prices ($4–$7 per slice) make this one worth the trip.
Go here for pepperoni pizza @ $35 for a pizza. Babish rated it 9.9 in his YouTube video but that's way overrated. Crust: Charred bottom but it wasn't as crispy as it looks Sauce: Tastes a little more acidic than normal, it gets overpowered by the dough. The sauce goes very well with the pepperoni but isn't great on the regular or other slices. Cheese: Not a cheesy pizza so the cheese doesn't stand out at all. It gets lost in the sauce and dough. Pepperoni Slice 7/10 - thin sliced pepperoni with mild spice. This is definitely their best slice. It taste totally different than the regular or other toppings. Regular 6/10 -nothing really stands out but the dough is tough and it's a struggle to eat Hot Sausage & Brown Butter Sage Pizza 6/10 -sausage is sweet but it doesn't mix well with the herbs. I think sausage by itself would be better.
popped into F and F pizzeria for a slice and left happy. the regular slice hits the basics right: light sauce, good chew, clean finish. the pepperoni is the one i’d tell a friend to get; the cups curl, pick up a little char on top, and add a crunchy, smoky bite. one tip that really matters: get it fresh. wait for a new pie or order a whole one, because the jump from reheated to fresh is huge. fresh is crisp and alive; reheated tastes tired. ordering is easy, you order your slice, call your name, and you can sit anywhere. good vibe, no fuss, and i’d come back for a fresh pepperoni any day.
Personally like saucer pizza, or a bit more sauce than this place, so I feel like the place is a bit overhyped. I remember the bread or crust taste more than the sauce. We had regular ($4.5), clam ($8), and Cacio E Pepe ($5.5) slices for $18. We asked the staff to sliced the pizza in half btw. Staff very friendly. Place looks clean.
Came here after seeing the 9.9 review by Babish. I got the pepperoni slice that he had reviewed along with the de Nonna (friend got the sausage slice but I didn’t try it). The pepperoni slice fell flat for me and I kept feeling like I needed to drink water each bite because it was so dry. The de Nonna — I was excited because it looked thin and crispy, and the tomato chunks were enticing. I think they were going for crispy, but it just came off as burned. Overall seemed OK — the type of place I would try again if I lived in Brooklyn — but definitely not worth the hour plus it took to get here from Queens.
Ordered their pepperoni, delivered. This is the worst pizza I've had in years, and its not even close. Its so salty I can't finish eating a slice without feeling like I need a glass of water to rehydrate, its also so stiff it feels like a jaw workout. And as if that wasn't enough its also burned on the bottom - not charred, burned. I am not a "complain to the manager" type of person ever, but I'd be demanding a refund if I could - but I imagine I am not getting one since this was delivered.
