Avaliações de Katsuei Brooklyn
Sushi is traditional but delicious. This place has been there for a long time so it's not fancy but the food is solid and the staff is nice.
Far and away the best sushi in the neighborhood. Good variety of fish, all very fresh, at a price point that is far less than what you would pay in Manhattan for similar quality. Definitely recommend going with the omakase. Have gotten takeout and eaten there quite often since initial review and it is still amazing. Of course it is a lot more delicious to eat there but taking out is still excellent.
Its a gem of a place! We have tried many a place in NY, London, and many other cities. This is definitely in the top three we have tried. Clean modern interior creates an easy atmosphere. excellent service, great selection of sake across the price range. But the real special thing is the fish. Excellent quality and preparation. Strongly suggest sushi and sashimi specials. Very exquisite. Strongly recommend
The absolute best sushi in NYC, Brooklyn and beyond. Worth its weight in gold (or whatever is the most prized metal). I've had the pleasure of dining here multiple times over the past year and a half and have never left feeling anything less than sublime. The freshest, most delicious fish I've ever had. The service is remarkable, the environment lovely and everyone involved with this institution outstandingly first class through and through. Everything- from their salads to their rice is delicious. Impeccably fresh and flavorful. Each bite is its own parade of joy. I don't know how they do it but every piece of sushi is it's own island of absolute delight and happy dances. Could not recommend it more. Run and make your reservation. It will be well worth it.
So unlike some other reviewers, I do not come from a background of significant knowledge about Japan, but I have eaten in some pretty high-end sushi restaurants in the US. I think this place gets 5 stars for food quality, freshness and presentation. Service and ambiance get maybe 3.5-4, but that fish was great!. We had omakase menu and chef gave us a beautiful selection. But I think the most amazing thing about this place (and the real reason for my 5* rating) is the price. We had dinner for three at about 1/3 the price of the high end places and the fish itself was just as good. Sure, the surroundings aren't as luxe, but hence the price. Edit: 2021 I will not return since they do not do online reservations. Apparently to get a reservation one must phone or email and I assuredly cannot do that.
Did the chef's tasting menu. Best sushi I ever had. Small, quiet, private setting. The food was absolutely the best, service was good. Of course you are going to pay a lot of money but well worth it. Looking forward to going again soon.
Absolutely love Sushi Katsuei Brooklyn!!! Their omakase is my favorite meal in all of NYC!!! Every piece is prepared so originally (fish paired with plum paste and a shiso leaf, for example!) - It’s the only meal where I literally smile every bite!!! Also, we love the staff!! The server Q and sushi chef John and our favorites, but everyone is so wonderful, hardworking and kind!! Cannot recommend Sushi Katsuei more!!! 🤗
This sushi spot is a total gem! The service is top-notch - friendly and attentive, which is a HUGE deal for me. We went for the Omakase and sat at the bar, best decision ever. Watching the chefs work their magic was mesmerizing. The fish was incredibly fresh, and each dish was like a tiny work of art. If you're into sushi, you've gotta try this place!
i hadn't been here for a few years as i left NYC, but now that i am back ,we decided to visit for dinner last night. i have so many positive things to say: the fish - obviouslyyy, it's fresh, but beyond that, it's beautifully cut and topped with just the right amount of thoughtful & well paired neta for each one. everything just works. the service - honestly, hard to admit how long i have worked in hospitality & restaurants so let's just say, more than 50% of my life. the service is attentive, non intrusive and never left me feeling a single shred of distrust in the process. our server - Q-Song. perhaps one of the loveliest servers i have had in many, many years. not only was his personal approach welcomed & appreciated & respectful, he also never skipped a beat with seeing our (cheap) beer needing to be poured into the glass, our sparkling water glasses were always full. he was a pleasure. working in service for as long as i have, i find that when i am paired with a professional, i give them space & freedom to do their thing - we all collectively did just that. it was relaxing & refreshing to be taken such good care of, and also to know that our presence, engagement and polite manners allowed him the freedom to execute perfect service. i am so happy that katsuei remains rock solid and also that we now have Q Song the cancer, to always be our server. we look forward to the next visit. deanna & olivia
Really enjoyed the omakase at the bar, fish was high quality. The one disappointment was the uni, garnished with sauce. Never had it that way elsewhere, uni has such a unique flavor and texture it should stand on its own IMO.
I absolutely love this place and have for years. I don't understand anything other than a five star review. The sushi is some of the best in the city, including compared to places for double or triple the price. The atmosphere is far more casual than the big names, which makes me appreciate it all the more. It is Michelin worthy Omakase where you have a legitimate shot with a walk-in reservation! We always do a full Omakase and one extra plate of our favorites.
One of my favorite sushi places ever. And I’ve had a lot of good sushi
Not cheap but worth every last penny. Sushi perfection. No frills, just quality fish, prepared perfectly.
Shared a few rolls here and they were all great. They were all more simple, which let the quality of the ingredients shine. In particular, the medium fatty tuna and scallion roll tasted incredibly fresh and delicate. Will definitely come back if in the area.
I have been eating sushi my entire life and have experienced omakases all throughout NYC. I honestly feel this place is the absolute best omakase offering in the city. Not just for the pricing, but for the consistency and simplicity of the product. The passion and pride of the chefs is palpable. They never fail to execute the experience to perfection. It’s my little oasis in Park Slope. When you enter here, you lose a sense of where you are and get lost in an experience that transports you to Japan. The service is wonderful and I have never had a meal that hasn’t left me in pure bliss. Don’t sleep on this spot.
Made advance reservations and went there for the sushi/sushimi omakase. Service was very prompt and attentive. Prices were in line with other higher grade sushi restaurants in NYC. Obviously, the grade of fish drives the pricing to a large degree and the quality was superb. Note the fat in the otoro and the color of the Uni. The real magic is in the seasoning and balance and their sushi chefs have great skills here. It’s almost perfect - to the point they don’t supply you with soy sauce or wasabi and warn you not to use soy sauce with most pieces. In a nutshell: this is a highly recommended place in Brooklyn that you should make the effort to visit.
Outstanding. We had Omakase chef's selection and sat at the bar.
DELICIOUS. They are kid-friendly and the food here is amazing! I ordered the omakase and it was the best decision. The place can get quite loud and waiting can take a while so it’s best to make reservations. Waiters were very friendly, attentive, and very knowledgable with the menu. It can get a bit pricey but the food makes up for it! Would come again!
Pros: A very cool sushi 🍣 experience. The freshest cuts of sushi at the bar. Round after round. No soy sauce, spicy mayo or wasabi. The chefs lather up the sushi before they serve it on your plate to taste amazing. You do get ginger on your plate if you want to change it up a little. Cons: It’s a bit pricey and it felt more like a tasty appetizer than a meal. They only do cold sake there if you like it served warm.
This place ruined sushi for me. Visited about 3 weeks ago. Had the omakase and a few al a carte items. SOOOOOO goood. The fatty tuna was one of my faves. Really a huge diff in quality versus an all you can eat place. Which brings us to... Fast forward to today. Had all you can eat sushi at my favorite place and it just tasted like metal and jelly consistency. I know the quality can't be, and shouldn't be compared, and this is also a cheaper omakase but still.... To ruin the enjoyment of huge quantities of food with just a few dishes is a huge accomplishment to me.
Had a kanpachi collar app, and multiple nigiri from chūtoro to kohada and unagi. Pieces are on the smaller side, but the fish is perfectly cut and exceedingly delicious, seasoned appropriately and sumptuous. My only regret is not having more time to taste more of the menu. It's been a few years since I visited Katsuei and I'm just as happy as I was on my first visit.
Incredibly fresh high quality sushi. Highly recommend the omakase at the sushi bar. Masa the chef was wonderful. Great for a night out with a significant other. We each had omakase, shared a hijiki salad and the mushroom appetizer along with a fantastic bottle of sake. Very busy, definitely recommend a reservation or come during off peak times like early dinner during the week.
Really good quality sushi and the omakase menu provides great options. The service was great and hospitable. This is a great sushi spot if you don’t want to travel into the Manhattan and want to stay in Brooklyn. And the price is amazing. You can probably find cheaper, but the quality won’t be as good. Definitely recommend bringing family and friends here if they enjoy sushi at a good price.
Omakase was reasonably priced but more importantly, their fish selection is very good and very fresh. We got many fish from Japan and fish that is not normally served elsewhere. Their Saba, sawara are all house cured and prepared and it is so good. I can't wait to go back to this place!
I love Katsui & their omakase bar! I’ve been coming here since moving nearby in 2019, highly recommend. A very special place ❤️
This was an amazing treat in the heart of Park slope! Omakasa at a great price and even better value. Some of the best sushi I've ever had. And that's including Tokyo! Look how beautiful it is. The chef was masterful! Amazing night. Enjoyed it a million. Really expanded my idea and understanding of nigiri, sushi and sashimi. Wow!
Fantastic meal! Perhaps they've been reading these reviews and course corrected because we had excellent service, the waitstaff was very attentive and helpful, and they are also now serving tap water. The sushi and sashimi omakase included several heavenly pieces of otoro and the price was amazing for the quality.
Came here for date night and we were blown away! Not only was the fish super fresh, but the service was great and the ambiance was calm - perfect for talking without struggling to hear each other. The portions were generous. We both did the Chef Selected omakase and it was the perfect amount of food.
had a wonderful time eating here! we got the three course omakase and ended up requesting another round of chef’s choice because it was so good. this place is a great value and we now have a new favorite sushi spot!
I felt compelled to write this review from my honeymoon in Japan. My partner and I have continually commented on the extent to which sushi katsuei holds up even in the context of Japanese sushi restaurants. This place is just so good. It’s the perfect low key and serene place. The omakase is excellent.
welcoming, warm and relaxed atmosphere gives way to one of the best omakase we have ever had. they don’t need holier than thou atmosphere - the sushi speaks for itself. each bite utter perfection. A true gem.
Sushi Katsuei is easily one of my favorite sushi spots in Brooklyn, and a standout in Park Slope. I came in for the omakase and was blown away by both the quality and value. Every piece was exceptionally fresh, and the chef clearly puts thought into the progression of flavors—from delicate to bold, each bite had its own moment. The cuts were clean and precise, and the rice was perfectly seasoned—not too vinegary or heavy, just right. What I really appreciated was the balance they strike: the space is minimalist and serene without feeling pretentious, and the staff is attentive but not overbearing. You feel welcome whether you're a sushi enthusiast or someone trying omakase for the first time. The price point is also very fair for the quality you’re getting. Compared to Manhattan spots with similar quality, this felt like a steal. It’s the kind of place where you leave feeling genuinely satisfied, not just with the food, but the whole experience. I’d recommend sitting at the bar if you can—the interaction with the chef adds a personal touch that makes the meal even more memorable. This is a place I’ll definitely return to again and again. Highly recommended.
This was my first omakase experience that I went to on my birthday. It was absolutely PHENOMENONAL. The nigiri honestly melted in my mouth like butter. Here are pictures of the yellowtail with scallion, Uni, and the king salmon I believe. Everything was fresh, delicious, and marvelously prepared. I'll definitely be coming back.
Make it a special occasion and get the omakase. Each piece was made a la carte and explained by the waiter. This is more helpful than the other restaurants where the waiter hastily explains 20 pieces of fish on your tray and you forget what’s what. At Sushi Katsuei, each piece was crafted and explained to us. One by one ☝🏼 So it was more of an experience. Definitely tried things we’d never order plus we tried things that are seldom on the menu. This is not your typical sushi 🍣 restaurant. The chefs wear white hats and it’s very minimal. High quality. You must try this and go for the omakase ⭐️
Excellent sushi. This is where I bring non sushi people to appreciate and love sushi for their first time. No soy sauce dipping here. You will eat it the way it is prepared by the chefs and since the fish is so exquisite, you don’t need to add soy sauce or anything else. The service is respectful and attentive. The ambiance is a bit cold and really not something to even care about since the fish becomes the main attraction. 5pm on a Thursday evening felt like it was babysitting hour at the sushi joint. Park slope parents living in their bubble allowing their kids to be loud and obnoxious while others are dining around them. I can’t blame the restaurant but parents need to take responsibility. No homework, coloring books, or crayons should be on a sushi restaurants table. Besides that… everything was excellent!! And thank you for not participating in the 4% credit card fee scam. Many customers appreciate that!!
Fresh sushi, with their own style of flavoring their classic omakase special. Healthy amount of wasabi was used in prep for some rolls. Try to get a reservation, as we showed up on dinner opening at 4 pm and they asked for a reservation to an empty restaurant; when we were done eating the restaurant was barely a third full, felt kind of odd. None the less, decent omakase for a great price point, definitely left satiated.
Very good quality and value for money omakase at this sushi joint. The chef was friendly and served the sushi piece by piece (if you sit at the sushi counter). Service was excellent as always here and had a very homely feel to it. Overall, would highly recommend this place to anyone whos interested in having an exquisite sushi experience without breaking the bank
We really loved our meal here. The omakase is a steal given the quality of product and the care in preparation. Flavors and textures were on point. Really appreciated the simple, modest environment and the staff were warm and friendly. Looking forward to sampling other items from the menu
We zipped in for a quick meal the other night. They were very gracious to accommodate us since we didn't have a reservation. The food was very good. We shared the snow peas salad with bonito flakes. It was very light and flavorful. I has the sashimi deluxe and my boyfriend has the sushi deluxe. The quality of the fish was excellent. The waiter was very thorough about explaining what each fish was. Many of the people around us were taking advantage of their omakase menu which is said to be the best in Brooklyn. We are looking forward to having a longer meal there in the future, but it was a very good Japanese restaurant which is very appreciated since we have a lot of mediocre ones.
best sushi in town, so fresh and delicious. pricey but worth it. took a long time for food to arrive
In a word, amazing. The omakase though expensive offers a unique and delicious culinary experience, a symphony of seafood! A knowledgeable staff and relaxing atmosphere makes for a perfect date night spot. The only fault I found is that I felt personally that the appetizers where subpar, the fried chicken and tuna avocado bowl fell flat. Overall though I would return in a heartbeat and look forward to finding a reason to go back.
The decor is very simple and sometimes long wait for table. Quality of sushi here is fresh, better than most sushi place around the area. Some people complaint overprice but they are not serving the same sushi as California roll places down the block. The price is on par with decent Manhattan sushi restaurants. Check the menu and pics on yelp before you go so you know what to expect.
The consensus among reviews is that this is the best deal Omakase you will find in Brooklyn, and that service isn’t great. Both points deserve more explanations. First, there are a few Omakase options: the regular nigiri Omakase for $55, and the sashimi + nigiri for $75. They also have an open style Omakase mixing seasonal fish with some of the regular pieces. This last option is available at market price, which was $108 in our case for 12 pieces. We took the open style Omakase and didn’t regret it. The fish was super fresh with a smooth texture, something we haven’t been used to on the East coast (sorry!). The seasoning in each sushi was also original (seaweed, yuzu, scallions), which was more in line with what we expected from an Omakase. Special mention to the sea urchin, which is always hit-or-miss. In this case, it was excellent. One disappointing note though: in almost every sushi, the seasoning was slightly overpowering the dish, making it hard to taste all the subtlety of the fish. This imbalance was a problem, but despite this issue, the overall menu was quite good, and 12 sushis was enough for a dinner. As for the service, it was actually fine. Our waiter was nice, and described every sushi with lots of details. In the end, was it the best sushi of our life? No, but who cares, it was really good sushi, and definitely as good, if not better than some pretentious options that charge twice as much in Manhattan (*ahem Yasuda*).
We came on the recommendation of a friend over here. The advise was very good. The fish was so tender as butter, that the rice on the other hand felt hard - what he was not. Excellent service and at the end of a dessert on the house. We only feel a little pressure between the courses and the check was presented quite fast, although other tables were still empty.
I heard great things about this place and had strong expectations. Unfortunately it didn't quite live up to expectations. The fried chicken and gyoza were both mediocre. The salmon collar was the only interesting app we had. The sushi set was decent, but there is so much competition in sushi these days that it's hard to justify coming back to this place vs. the competition. There simply wasn't any piece that blew me away in flavor or design. The service was fine, but the dining environment also felt a little cramped and was a bit loud as a result. Not a huge deal but certainly wasn't additive to the experience.
The fish is fine. Maybe I was there for an off-week. I went for the omakase and was underwhelmed by the presentation and variety. You basically get a series of combo platters brought to the table. There’s no interaction with the chef and the waiters are too busy serving everyone else to really intro the dish (not that there’s much to discuss anyway 😬). I guess it’s a deal for the volume of food you’re getting for $65 but I’m convinced the people leaving glowing reviews haven’t had proper omakase before. Again, it’s fine. Not bad. Good budget option with a great atmosphere!
The $117 omakase was mostly tasty but we experienced some dissatisfaction like the rather inexpensive mackerel. This did not include any small dessert like a slice of orange or watermelon. The seating at the sushi bar was quite tight. When we arrived, the guy next to me wasn’t happy and after he left, the new person who they attempted to seat there asked to have his seat changed. Given the hype of this place, the prices, and considering it was filled with mid-30-somethings on a Thursday night, I did expect a more satisfying culinary experience.
The omakase was really good fresh fish we love it 👌🏻 But WAIT time was 40 mins +++ another dish 1 hr ++ we spent 2 hrs eating. Recommend not to come when you’re hungry.
‼️Outrageous‼️ I took myself out on a solo date here to see what it’s like since they were all these great reviews. Since I come to review restaurants on Google and I’m by myself I come just for business and to eat. I was greeted at the door, which was very nice and saw at least four or five chefs behind the sushi counter, ready to make sushi that looked extremely fresh, which was very pleasing. No odors came. Neither was the restaurant dirty, which was beautiful. It was a bit small but that’s fine. Once I was seated, I got my order in about 10 minutes after sitting. I ordered 6 rolls in total but in 2 separate orders. each order of sushi has six pieces and for my first three order it requested around $50. For $50 in this area or anywhere in New York City you can get a whole lot more sushi. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt, thinking the quality would be way higher than any random sushi spot. Once my plate arrived, it looked quite small for $50. My whole three orders of sushi came out to being 18 rolls only. Any role was about slightly smaller than an inch in width and height. Of course I devoured them and was still hungry for more so I ordered three more. And that second order took a whole 20 minutes to come. The order was only a cucumber roll, avocado roll, and some other vegetable roll. So just rice, some seaweed and the vegetable… not crazy about that. In total, I had 36 pieces of sushi and was quite full after all that of course. I see they do specialize in the whole tasting menu. Where you get exquisite fish fresh from the chefs, for an investment of only $119 per person. But with lackluster ambience, and sushi that quite honestly doesn’t fill you up. I don’t know if it’s worth it. If you plan to go on a date here, and talk and yap so you don’t eat much. Or perhaps you come here to drink and still not eat much. You might find this place appealing. But me just coming here to eat and basing my review solely on that. My total was $105, as they charge nine dollars for a bottle of sparkling water. I don’t know if this would be worth it. For $105 I can go to Manhattan and get an unlimited Brazilian steakhouse experience where the waiters are at my beck and call. My waiter at this restaurant wasn’t too on top of me and wasn’t in a hurry to take my order the first go around, neither was she too prompt on pushing my second order after 20 minutes of waiting for rice and vegetables. I can easily think of other sushi places with thicker rolls 1/2 to 2 inches per roll for a quarter of the price with eight pieces per roll. Now I might say the quantity is not here, but neither can I say that the quality is. For the average person, I doubt people would notice the quality difference if they weren’t looking at triple the price. If I could make anything better at this restaurant, I would hopefully see that waiters could be more on top of the guests, especially since it was half empty when I was there. And perhaps more value to be provided. As I feel, I didn’t have an amazing experience. And I’ve lived in Park Slope for my whole 24 years. Hopefully they get better and maybe reach out to me so I can try it again another time. 3/5 stars ⭐️
I went to Katsuei the other night. Pretty nice. The best sushi in Brooklyn they say. “If the fish was any fresher you will have to catch it with a hook.” I read. Very nice place. Sterile, I could probably operate on these tables…. service was ok. Was it the best sushi I ever had? At least the best I had in Brooklyn? Unfortunately I’ll have to say no, it wasn’t. It felt like the owner thought it is though. 🤷♂️
Overpriced. Used to be the nicest of the local sushi options, but since the start of the pandemic they did away with the nice ambiance and now you have an oddly arranged dining space, not much in the way of decoration, they lowered the prices of their omakase by about 20% but cut the serving in half. Their sake selection is not premium but their prices are. And most of the staff are nice, except the apathetic hostess/owner who greets you and assigns the tables.
Very basic Sushi with little flavor. Salmon Nigri flavorless and both the Spicy Tuna and Tuna rolls also lacked flavor and had the quality of a grocery store Sushi. The rude waitress just added to an already bad experience. Overpriced for what you get and $20 minimum per person seems ridiculous. I would recommend going elsewhere. How they have a 4.5 star rating is beyond me.
Got the chef's oSKAMae [not-so]-special. Fish was fine. Which, at an astronomical $80 there was barely any of it. Anyhow, much of it tasted the same despite it being presented as if each piece was some sort of Michelin caliber honor to eat. The oyster was the only item even remotely noteworthy. Was given soy sauce and instructed not to use it. A disproportionately large amount of staff stands around and kind of observes you eating. Shrimp tempura was standard, although its outrageous price wasn't. Left feeling hungry and ripped off.
We came here for a birthday dinner and were highly disappointed. We chose the most expensive omakase, which was about $120 per person. To our surprise, it didn’t include appetizers or dessert which is usually standard in any omakase. The sushi was only decent, with the same sauce on most pieces and most were torched or cooked in some way. The uni was great, and maybe had one or two other memorable pieces throughout the night. The disappointment came when the check came, as the total was a few dollars over 300. I handed the server $400 cash, to which he came back asking if I need change. I said yes — even surprised that he would ask this as otherwise it would have been close to 35% tip. He came back again and said he didn’t have change, so I said I would like just $30 back. He came back again insisting I pay via credit card which I did. Felt like this was highly disrespectful and unprofessional especially for this kind of restaurant.
Sadly the worst sushi experience (and maybe overall dining experience) I’ve had in the city. The fish was not fresh. The pieces had way too much wasabi on them, and the fishes all tasted the same. Our food took an hour to arrive. Seating arrangements unless you are at the bar are not nice, and the place smells of many different things all the time. Will not come back. Way way overpriced as well.
I go here frequently as it has been one of our neighborhood favorites for years. But recently I sat at the sushi bar with two family members and ordered omakase and a two beers each. We made no special requests and had the ordinary number of pieces, around nine, before stopping. Omakase are not itemized and the bill with tip came to almost 500 dollars. I was stunned. This is way more than we are used to paying here.
Sushi Katsuei has been a go-to spot for years, but after this recent visit, I can confidently say I will not be returning. We opted for the omakase, expecting the high-quality fish and exceptional experience we've come to know, but what we received was far from it. The fish was rubbery, lacking freshness, and had a distinctly off-putting texture. To make matters worse, it seemed like we were served a subpar selection compared to other tables. While others were presented with a variety of premium cuts, we were left wondering if we had received the leftovers. The experience took an even darker turn when two members of our party fell ill later that evening. Both experienced food poisoning symptoms, which was a shocking and concerning outcome from a place we once trusted implicitly. Food safety should be a given at any restaurant, let alone one that claims to be among the best for sushi in Brooklyn. It’s unacceptable and deeply disappointing to have our health compromised after what should have been an enjoyable meal. What’s most disheartening is that this wasn’t our first visit, and our previous experiences set a much higher bar. Sushi Katsuei used to be a shining example of quality and consistency, but this visit felt like a betrayal. It’s clear something has changed, whether it’s the sourcing of ingredients, attention to detail, or care for loyal customers. Whatever it is, it’s not working, and it’s a shame to see a once-beloved restaurant fall so far.
I just picked up my order and after seeing the small portions I decided to order a couple of more plates. The lady that seems to be the restaurant manager started talking with the staff in a very “energetic” manner. Then she approached to me saying that they were out of stock (at 6:25pm), and basically showed me the exit. I’ve been in this restaurant before and it was great, but this time in the pickup/delivery scenario things were way different. If you want to offer the delivery service you need to keep your customer service standards.
Was really looking forward to this meal but unfortunately I left feeling completely cheated. We ordered the omakase and received the same selection on our first and third course (pictures attached). Having the exact same preparation is a complete slap in the face and they didn’t even offer to take anything off the bill and just said “sorry.” Apparently this place is know for good value, but it’s definitely worth going somewhere else.
Terrible omekase. I ordered their chef omekase and it was SO OVERPRICED. Posted 8 out of the 12 pieces so see for yourself. Mostly whitefish, two types of mackerel. The fish was SO FISHY, it tasted like it came from Japan and defrosted two weeks ago. By the second plate, I was so disheartened I didn't even take a picture of the last four pieces. For 120$ omekase, there is no king salmon, no scallop, no anago, no ikura, no shrimp, no crab, NOTHING OF VALUE. Uni was subpar. And the oyster.. forget it. 3 out of 6 pieces stank. Makes me sick thinking of the food. Not only that, but through three appetizers, the waiter comes over to puts his hand on my plate, asking if I want to take the last piece. Squid app .. fluke app... oysters .. every plate only has about 6 pieces. Of course I want the last piece. It's not busy cuz there's tables open so are you short of dishes back there? NEVER AGAIN.
