We literally stopped making our coffee at home because there’s no better way to start the day than with a latte and a croissant from Volare. take my Great Dane every morning. The husband and wife who own the shop make the pastries themselves every day and they’re beyond phenomenal—I literally dream about them… My only request: please start making the bombolonis during the week too! I need them on more than just Saturday and Sunday. They’re hands down the best pastry I have ever put in my mouth.

Truly one of the best in the business! When my husband and I first walked into Volare we were greeted by some of Brooklyn's friendliest owners. They also made one of the best cold foam latte's I have had here in Brooklyn since Greece. The biggest standout for me was that they actually came to take the time and visit our coffee shop after meeting us. You do not come across great food, amazing coffee and genuine people often. Best cappuccino I've had in New York City, hands down! The pastries also couldn't be more authentic - the crema pasticcera reminds me of Italy! If you need your Italian dolce vita moment of bliss, this place has everything you need.

Full disclosure, I own a shop in the neighborhood and was so excited to see a new coffeeshop a few months ago. I cannot recommend Volare enough. Since day one, the constancy of the coffee and food has been impeccable. True, there are many coffeeshops in this neighborhood but none are a match for the craftsmanship to Volare. Jenni and Chams are also the sweetest owners and each time I go in, I'm welcomed! If you're looking for a cozy nook to read a book or catch up on a few emails, you'll be happy to find Volare. My favorite order is the pistachio stuffed croissant...but they have also expanded their baked goods. Super sweet people that add a great addition to the business landscape of Park Slope. Lucky to call them our neighbors.

Worked from here for a couple of hours today; it’s a cute place. We got a cappuccino, pistachio croissant, affogato, and egg sandwich. All were super tasty. I loved the pistachio croissant! The guys working here were friendly and the service was great. Definitely recommend and would return.

The staff was very accommodating to the three children I had with me - each kid had a different flavor of lemonade. The space inside is beautiful and spacious. My wife and I visited our son in Brooklyn and he introduced us to Volare! What an amazing place! We had our morning coffee and pastry there every day we were in Brooklyn. While the food and drink is excellent (as well as the great atmosphere), what sets this place apart are the owners! After our first visit, they knew us by name each time we visited and treated us as family! And they said "hello" and called most everyone else by name that came as well. Grateful to know my son has found "a second home" and "family" in Brooklyn. Looking forward to our next visit!

The words on their sign say it all: “Gusto d’Italia,” taste of Italy. The super high quality and carefully presented coffee, pastries and savory items transport you to Italy and set this beautiful cafe apart from its competition in the neighborhood. It is the only place in the area I know of that makes a proper espresso like you would get in Italy. They do an equally great job with the more Americanized forms of coffee, like oat milk lattes, cold brew, etc. The cafe is a labor of love for its owners, who are welcoming and kind to customers. If I lived a little closer I’d be there every day.

This is my second time here, I like coffees, and also croissants in this café. I am normally in for an almond croissant, but this time I gave a try their special pistachio croissant, it was soo satisfying. Best cold brew I’ve EVER had. I can’t say enough about Volare. Every drink I have tried has been delicious and fairly priced, from your regular drip coffee or espresso, to fun and trendy seasonal drinks. My personal favorite is the cold brew, which the owner brews in house and takes special care to make sure it isn’t bitter or stale. All of their baked goods are delicious too. Don’t miss the rosemary biscuit, everything croissant, blueberry muffin, or breakfast tacos! All are made in house or sourced from local bakeries. The service and atmosphere are also top notch. The owners are a lovely hardworking couple who take the time to get to know every customer. We walk in and they know our orders down to the amount of milk we like in our drinks. No matter how busy they are, they’ll always take the time to ask you how you’re doing and stamp your rewards card (buy 9, get 1 free). I’ve never waited long for my order even on busy Friday mornings. They have take away or dine in. The seating area is cute and cozy, perfect for a coffee date or enjoying a quiet moment before work. This is a MUST visit spot in Park Slope and one I hope sticks around forever!

The coffee is excellent. The food and pastries never miss. But what makes it special is the people. The staff and owners are warm, thoughtful, and genuine. Over time, they’ve become more than baristas behind a counter they’ve become friends. It’s not just a coffee shop. It’s community. And when you walk in, you can feel it.

This cafe is very nice and service was great but you can’t give anything above 3 for the coffee itself. We ordered 2 flat whites and they came out not hot enough. Also, using a single shot for a 10 ounces drink cannot meet expectations.

I had a terrible experience at this establishment Before yesterday (10/24) I’ve been to this place multiple times for coffee and pastries and had great experiences each time. the ladies who served me were always kind and friendly and made me feel welcomed, but yesterday was completely different… when I arrived I went to a table to setup up my laptop. When I noticed my WiFi was not connected I went to the cashier/ barista to ask for the WiFi information where I was rudely welcomed by a guy demanding I buy something before he gave me the WiFi… “you’re not a customer” in a very defensive undertone (assuming I wasn’t going to buy anything). I understand store policies. So I even gave him the benefit of the doubt and was going to get something right then and there just to save the hassle, but after seeing his rude demeanor even after mentioning I’ve been to the establishment multiple times before; he responded by saying “I never seen you before.” I cancelled my order and walked out. It was clear I was unwelcomed there. I regret ever spending money at this place. Ps: I’m an African American man who hates using the race card… but I’ll let you be the judge.

A coffee shop should be judged on its coffee. Why have cortados and machiattos on the menu if the shop doesn't know what they are. This place has 5 star ratings, but it seems like it's mostly driven by its bakery program.
