Avaliações de Kelly's Tavern Brooklyn
It’s a very low key bar and the nicest people in it. The pool table is in a separate room and the music doesn’t reach there which can be great! Inside is well kept and has the look of an Irish bar that you’d expect. Beautiful wood, ceiling, stools everywhere. Bring a friend or two and sit and chat. I promise you’ll have a good time. It’s cash only but there’s an ATM on premises!
Nice patrons, right kind of rowdy. It is a layed back vibe. You can easily lose time here. Tables outside to enjoy the infamous hustle of Bay Ridge.
Kelly’s Tavern in Bay Ridge has been holding it down since 1932—so yes, Papa Kenny, you’re in one of the oldest and most classic bars in the neighborhood, and it doesn’t get much more Brooklyn than this. Old-school Irish vibes, cheap drinks, and regulars arguing at the bar—you might as well be sitting here with Sinatra, a Mets game, and a roll of singles for the jukebox. Kelly’s is real-deal Bay Ridge, not just any old watering hole: it survived Prohibition, hosted generations of locals, showed up in “Saturday Night Fever,” and still keeps the spirit of Brooklyn alive every single day. While there are even older bars in Brooklyn (like Teddy’s in Williamsburg, 1887), for Bay Ridge you’re smack in one of the neighborhood legends—not the newest kid, but definitely in that OG company. Raise a glass and yell, “Cheers, Papa Kenny! This is what New York feels like!”
This an old fashioned Irish pub, been around forever. The Guinness is always fresh, the drinks are generous and the bartenders are friendly and know ur name. It's got a bit of "Moe's Tavern" feel so dont go expecting flashy lighting and hip hop blasting you to deaf. It's just a simple place to get great drinks!

Decent whole-in-the-wall spot. Good prices and cold drinks. No food service.
Great staple in the neighborhood to catch up with old and new friends.
Old local bar with lots of atmosphere. Cash only. You meet the nicest people
I've been here about 3 times and I do very much enjoy it and am actually planning to go again with some friends tonight! Of the few times I've been here, there haven't been very many people however, the people that have been there have been very friendly and there to have a good time! Also has a pool table and darts! The highlight for me apart from the very nice employees and clientele is the JUKEBOX!! 😄
Stumbled onto this place during a visit to Dyker Heights. The locals and server was very welcoming. Only had a couple of drinks, which were reasonably priced, and played a few songs on the jukebox.
This is the best pub ever best staff best prices in one side out the other I come from p.a now to come here I love it Johnny bus.
Love John Nolan, owner and extraordinary human. Everyone that bartends is beautiful in their own right: Tony - funny and truthful, Corrine - lively and fast, Bernadette - tough and soft, Tom - handsome, a chip off the old block, Willie - one of a kind and my friend. Please come by and have a drink. Best prices in Bay Ridge. Always a good time.
Old school irish pub , caught the early yankee game here in the afternoon. Very quiet , prices for drinks were very good, bartender was so nice , she was very quick making sure we always had a drink , didn't have to call or wave her down like some places.
Nothing better than Kelly’s!
Great Place! Awesome atmosphere and very good music! I heard that they planning to do some live gigs soon! I'm looking forward to that! ☝️😊
This is an old school bar, which is why I like it. If you want trendy, this is not your place. If you want to chill with regulars, have a Guinness, and relax with your friends, this is your place. Love it.
We have almost all our family functions there. The food and service is consistently excellent. In all the year's we have never had an issue. It's like family, we love the owner and staff.

Real Brooklyn Part ?? Wow. Another "do I live in the same neighborhood" moment, after reading the reviews for this place. Ok. This place is a little bit of a dump. Yes, a LOT of the patrons might not have all their choppers in tact, but they are sharp as tacks! I've been in only several bars in my life, that run from one avenue to the other, with an entrance on each side. This is the only one that was in the movie Saturday night fever. Good sports. (more Mets for baseball) Wasn't wild about $4 for a Bud light after work tonight, but whatever. Great juke box, pool table in the back, and decent conversation if you're a willing partner.
Didn't order food, bartender was good, it was a dive bar for a certain crowd ( elderly ) on this Thursday evening before the 4th of July. Would i recommend it, I would if you want a low key atmosphere.
It's just a cool mellow place and the bartender is a very nice Irishmen. I come from Staten Island and its only a bus ride away, right over the bridge. When I dont feel like traveling to the city to go out going there is easier to get to and I always have a pleasant time there

I have been there more times. Service was high when bartender was a male. He helped me and my fellas with menu. Prices were reasonable. But today I was really sad. Lady bartender was so rude and nonadequate. She was unpolite. Sold beer for higher price that we buy always and speak so loudly with clients. Dont recomment go there because of this stupid "lady"
