The restaurant was nice and clean with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was friendly and eager to make sure your visit is a pleasant one, regardless of the size of your order. The tacos and burritos I order were hot and tasty and reasonably priced.
Wow, lot of food with the order for a decent price. Staff goes out of their way to customize your order to your preference. ***As of April 2023, Uber Eats is showing your address as being in Fort Worth.***
Taco Casa is a favorite eating and meeting place of mine. Every time I crunch into a taco there is a party in my mouth, a taste sensation of delectable flavors melding together for a delightful dining experience. In short, I recommend it.
Love Taco Casa and there Tacos. But when I go at 8:40 p.m I want to sit down and eat some tacos. Instead we walk in the place and the girl is putting chairs up and getting ready to sweep and says they close at 9:00 p.m. Were watching everyone drive off cause they see the chairs up.
The food was just good!👍 I had a taco lite, bomb! and a bean burrito, bomb! and some casa dlites which the manager suggested honey with them and those were bomb. so all in all one of my better fast food experiences. thanks to that manager in college Station she was sharp.
You just can't beat this place!! Growing up it was hard to beat tacos most Sundays from my Mom. My Dad was very particular. He was 84 when I took him the first time, he loved it and became his favorite go to place before passing at 89. Good job Cass, never been disappointed for the past 10-15yrs 💜💜💜💜
When they first opened i was very disappointed in it and swore i would never go back. However my sister took me out to eat here just a few days ago and glad she did!!! Was very pleased with this visit! The shells were not stale this time and unlike taco bell.... There was ample amount off cheese!!!
The guys that worked last night 1/20/25 8pm at Bryan Tx ... you guy rock ... my wife and I love Taco casa we wish they would bring one down in or around Beaumont , Vidor or Orange TX i think it would do AWSOME
Yes I wanted to give a Special Thanks to Jacob, over at Casa Taco Bryan on Earl Rudder Freeway! He was very helpful and understanding when I had an issue of an order when there was no sour cream on my beef burrito!! I took the receipt in and showed him I paid for the sour cream, he apologized, and went right to work making me a New burrito! No charge!! Jacob is very nice, polite and was extremely helpful!! Sincerely, Russ
Super great service from everyone behind the counter. Food was bad ass! It was recommended to me and I know why. Great job y’all
We came into this location during a terrible rain storm and the staff was so kind and welcoming! They made a special batch of Casa Delites for us when they were initially out. They were very friendly and attentive! Five stars for customer service!
2/9/2023 Door Dash messed my order but the night shift here made everything Right! They did it with a smile and Great customer service too!!!! I will be coming here for all of my Taco needs!!!! Don’t get this kind of service at those other taco joints.
Why is it that 5 out of 6 times we are in the area, when we start discussing getting some lunch, the truck goes into auto-pilot and we find ourselves ordering our fav's and sitting in our favorite booth. Friendly staff and good, fast food. See ya next trip!
This place was clean, the staff was friendly and the food was A+. I'm so glad we stopped in on our way back home ❤️ Ans P.S. Anyone who goes here knows what they're getting, most of us enjoy the OG Taco Bell 🔔
It's like Taco Bell used to be. Good food.
The food is great. The host was great. The ticket said his name is Brady. I genuinely enjoy ordering from him because he's a funny dude to be honest.
Always quick and delicious! Our go to for fast food .
I’ve always loved Taco Casa and stopped at this location on a road trip. The lobby was super clean and the staff was extra friendly!!! We ordered multiple items and our order came out quick and correct. Always love how the tacos are full and put Taco Bell to shame. Our receipt says our host was Joshua. Excellent customer service. Thank you!!
Great fast food Mexican place! We don't live far from here, so I am somewhat a regular. Their food includes large portions of meat and cheese. They have great promotions by text; I definitely encourage locals to register for that. I get a text almost daily. When you use them, make sure to check your receipt. We regularly have to have them rerun our order because the person didn't give us the discount of the day. They are always accommodating, though!
Their food is awesome. I usually go in because I hate waiting in the drive thru. But today, it was TOO cold to get out. There was a young lady by the name of Dianne. She was so patient and helpful. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE !
They are extremely quick, and deliver good quality food. Custom orders also seem to come out with almost the same amount of speed. This place mounds the shredded cheese on their tacos, never skimping here. So often business tend to cut corners to reach a better bottom line, but this restaurant sticks to their guns. I really like Taco Bell’s sauce, and maybe more than taco casa, but their sauce is also pretty darn good.
People aren't joking about the cheese, the hands are heavy and it's glorious. I got a super burrito and was so satisfied I had to shout out to the workers here. Most taco places you need to get multiple items to fill up but here it's different: one item is perfect, 550 calories is a great lunch.
First time I had eaten here and I really enjoyed my burritos I ordered and the lady that helped me her name was Shelby, Very friendly nice great smile and attentive. Made sure I had everything I needed. Made my order to perfection
I ordered the supreme tostada. It was really good. It was different than usual. I am not sure if they changed the ingredients, but it didn't come with sour cream, tomatoes, and black olives like before.
Great food reminding me of my childhood! People are friendly and service was quick!
I am a child of the 80's, so I have a nostalgic feeling for Taco Bell during that time period. The smells, the taste, a much smaller menu.....well get in your time machine, because Taco Casa is like a Taco Bell from the 80's. You won't be able to get much outside of beef and/or bean burritos, tacos, but if that is what you are looking for...look no further. I grew up eating beef burritos at Taco Bell as a teenager and while I can't get the same quality and taste at 21st century Taco Bell, I can get it at Taco Casa. Love this place!
Went to Taco Cass and was so pleased with the staff. Some car cut in front of me, made me wait while she yelled at the staff over her mistake she made last week. When I got to the window for my order, the manager gave me my order for free, because it had got soggy while waiting in line. He was so courteous and thoughtful. He needs to be complimented. It made me feel as an important customer.
So at the point in time I was ready to leave the store and cj I guess he's the night manager came to the rescue and made me wanna come back I didn't like the taste of the food at first then he brought me a fresh one and then I loved the food so at the point in time as of now I definitely wanna come back because of cj thank y'all for a good first experience!!!
Food is so good for fast food tacos and burritos. Beats the others in town by far!
It's very obvious that the personnel and managers care about the product/customer. It's appreciated and should be recognized.
I have only eaten at this restaurant twice, but both times it was good. But most importantly, the manager is extremely helpful and friendly. Both times she has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make my experience at her restaurant enjoyable.
Hear me out...you want cheap, fast and quality food. this location, and this location only is the best when it comes to this. Nachos? Crisp. Tacos? Fresh. Staff? Amazing. I would crawl 14 miles of broken glass and lemon juice just to hear this Taco Casa through a walkie talkie. You couldn't get me to say anything bad about this place with a Navy seal interrogation. 5 stars never had a problem at all.
Love this place, their food is awesome serving size is the best.
I love their tacos 🌮 😋, customer service was great !!!,but the only issue I have had the phone service is not good...But overall the food yummy..
For a quick crispy taco, you can't beat this place. They pack the taco shells, so you get plenty. I eat a regular and a super crispy taco. I have always had friendly service here.
First time EVER at a “Taco Casa” and I must say they are AMAZING! The taco meat is very well seasoned and the arnt stingy with the meat and toppings at all! They give you your moneys worth that’s for sure! The crunchy tacos are amazing and the chilada’s were sooooo good and topped with sauce, cheese and black olives!! Highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t before!
Best Mexican food, great prices and can't beat the drive through. The menu is not large but it's your most favorite items. I dined inside once and it has a nice restaurant and fast food appeal. Neat place and I love the nachos.
The tacos were full and extremely tasty too. We ordered them with sour cream and with flour tortillas. Just wish there was one much closer.
My first experience at Taco Casa and it was really good. I asked what to order since it was my first time, and I went with the suggested Chalata - slightly modified - sauce on the side and no black olives. Dipped in the sauce and it was just the right combination of flavors! SERVICE: 10 ✨ APPROVED: 2 THUMBS UP TODAY! Thanks guys!!
One word: cheese! They heap large amounts of cheese on everything and I LOVE it!! The beef was a bit salty, but overall, I enjoyed all of my dishes.
Great food, service, attitude from employees and clean restrooms(well they were clean when i visited.) Only reason i didn't give 5 stars is the consistency of food preperation i.e. amount of sauce, cheese, fixings in general, for example-one time you'll get a ton of cheese, the next time, hardly any... Kinda disappointing when your looking forward to it and don't get it... 😲
I love the Taco light. I'm allergic to the protein in milk so no chz and no sour cream, plz. However this time they messed up my wife's order. She ordered hers normal but got no sour cream and no tomato.... weird. Anyway it was still good, to me. 😁
When I first walked in the smell was not the best. It made me kind of nauseous but that is nost likely because I was already really hungry. I ordered the burrito and let me just say the food made it worth my while. The tortilla was soft, the beef was cooked perfectly, and well the service was really good. When I walked out I felt satisfied.
It's a consistent experience when you want a quick meal. Their stand out items are bagged gallons of tea and crunchy ice in a 5 pound bag. It's great for quick sports party food.
Friendly people, good sized portions, tasty and fast Tex-Mex food that is very reasonable. If you are in the mood for tacos or burritos this is the place for you. Not "authentic" but a heck of a lot better than the Bell.
Taco Casa is so much better than the Bell place. Here, you actually get beef and cheese in your taco. The burritos are double the size of those at the Bell. The prices are competitive. The only real problem is that the place is understaffed. This causes problems for the employees. The same old scenario, owners make the big bucks with the attitude of work the employees to death (they won't stay anyway. Hmmm, I wonder why ?
I'd give it 5 stars if they had more variety, but otherwise this place is outstanding. The food is fresh. Tastes great. Good prices. They don't skimp on the cheese which is grated fresh every day. Someone else said the restaurant is clean which is true. Every time I've been inside it's very clean. Most often I get the deal that comes with 6 tacos and 6 burritos or something like that. Lots of good food. Not a lot of money. Also, they have good sauce.
Always cheep and great food. Puts Taco smell to shame. A great lunch or snack option.
Thank yall for not playing religious and country music. So refreshing…
Food was good. Think Taco Bell in the 80's. I took my son. Bill came out to $26. Ouch!
I skipped breakfast 🥞 and lunch 🍱 today and was getting hangry, decided to give Taco Casa a try. I got two super tacos 🌮 and the Mrs got a super taco 🌮 without tomatoes 🍅 and it cost about $14 plus the friendly associate got my tumbler an ice refill. To be honest... this is what Taco Bell should aspire to become! Sometimes a well done gringo taco 🌮 just hits the spot and that's what my super tacos 🌮 did today. 😋 Our trio of super tacos 🌮 didn't make it out of their parking lot! 🤩😋
Asked if I could Get a reward card like the ones on the website for my order and the guy acted like he has no idea what I’m talking about. Other than that pretty good. Do they have a loyalty program or not ? Mymsiper burrito was mostly beans not much meat btw
Pepe's on South College changed their recipe for their beef burritos. Taco Casa come very close to that old taste I remember. 🔴Update🔴 I have fallen in love with their combination burritos. It's the perfect amount of beef, beans, and cheese. I like to take mine home and fix 'em up a bit, though.
I have to agree with Kristy Love. Although I give 3 stars because the quality of the food is good. For me a taco just needs more than a bit of meat and lettuce with a huge pile of cheese on it. The cheese is good but way too much. The Chilada was the same. I talked with the owner and suggested putting some chunky salsa in the tacos and the Chilada. She explained that I could buy a portion of salsa for $.49 but that they are not allowed to alter the recipes. Free hot sauce but only one variety of that available. She was really nice but the food does not make sense to me. $3.50 for a super taco.
The food is good. When they first opened the chili burgers were $1.19. Now they are $1.99. Big jump AND McDonald's is faster. The prices are higher and service is much slower.
Taco Casa is like Taco Bell 30 years ago. Basic, fresh junk food. Great place to go when you are tired of burgers. This location has some issue with giving you taco sauce in the drive thru. It is quite awkward. Taco sauce fans should just order inside.
My husband and I come to Taco casa quit a bit their customer service and food is always good and the food is very fulfilling and have good prices.tonight we went there customer service good like always ,but we normally order the bean burrito with onions and add black olives.and 1 will normally fill us up.tonight they were out of cheddar shredded cheese which normally comes on the burrito, and they substituted it with nacho cheese.please don't ever do that again if you run out of shredded to send a manger to Walmart to buy some.because that was worst tasting food I've ever gotten from there.it weird how 1 ingredient changes the whole flavor of stuff.from now on I will differently ask about the cheese because it will decide rather I eat there next time or not.Now I will also say that the manager did refund wit money.which I was glad we didn't waiste money on that.it was horrible.althouhh i had a bae experience tonight I will go back but I'll always ask from now on
Taco Bell on steroids. LOL We purchased a large nacho order and a taco. It was Taco Bell good, and just like TB, don’t eat this food without hot sauce! Plenty of hot sauce!!
This rating takes into account that this is a fast food place. The food seemed to be all the same few items, just packaged a little different in each case, and there were not many options (only beef, no other meats for example). The friendliness of their staff and the cleanliness of their place are their saving graces. Not sure I would go back, particularly with as many options as we have in our town.
This is my favorite FAST food taco place in B/CS but the staff is horrible!!! The past 2 times I’ve been there the drive through lady tried to take a dollar from me. Other times they were just uninterested in being nice of cordial. But DANG THE TACOS ARE GOOD! I probably need to let the manager or owner know about the lady who keeps trying to steal money.
We stood at the counter staring at a girl with ear buds in her ear, sitting in a chair staring at her cell phone! My son and I just kept saying hello and hitting the counter.....she never heard us. Another customer came in & stood there staring with us. Do better Taco Casa......check your cameras at night and make sure your staff is really working.
Our visit to Taco Casa wasn't that great. Although the food was good and the crew was nice, the dining area and the men's room needed attention. This isn't good at all because Taco Casa is one of my favorite places to go. As a paying customer, I'd like a more pleasurable experience next time. There are more taco places to go to in town.
The Dining area on the Ceiling is so dirty I felt like dust and dirt was come down to my food
This place WAS always great for soft tacos. They used to pile the meat and cheese on which they should for the price. After I got home today the tacos rolled up were the size of a nickle in diameter. Dunno if they had policy changes or just employees that didnt want to cook more meat and open a bag of cheese.
We ordered nachos to go with everything on the side, not only because not everyone eating the nachos liked peppers and sour cream but also because we didn’t want the nachos to be soggy when we got home. We also ordered the enchiladas with no black olives. We got to the window and got charged for the wrong order. The girl at the window was very nice when helping fix it. But then we got home to soggy nachos with everything on them and nothing on the side and enchiladas that still had the black olives.
I don't understand how this chain survives while there is Taco Cabana, or even Taco Bell. The salsa and the hot sauce are weak, the meat is near flavorless, and they didn't put any silverware in my to-go box when I drove through so I had to pull over a second time to get a fork. I tried them out because I had a vague memory of a decent breakfast taco once upon a time. I'm unlikely to return to find out if the breakfast tacos are any better than their other fare, though. I was NOT impressed.
My wife loves Taco Casa, we were visiting our son at A&M and stopped by as usual because we don’t have one anywhere near us. The lady at the counter was extremely friendly and nice. However, that’s where the good experience ended. There was a worker eating food on the counter in the kitchen. All the drinks had nearly zero syrup or flavor. The Super Tacos has extremely stale shells as did the chips we got for a side. When you spend nearly $30 for “fast” food it’s very disappointing when the basics aren’t even good.
You better hope Stephanie is working that day, she’s great, very quick, kind and quite frankly deserves a raise. Any other employee working greets you by asking you to wait even if they are dead, LITERALLY BEG for tips at the window saying “if you could leave a tip that would be appreciated” 💀, offer terrible customer service or maybe 0 service at all. I’ve had multiple times now I’ve had to leave after no one taking my order or even greeting me after 5+ minutes sitting there. Management must not pay attention or care at all. Decided I will no longer support this business. Sad.
Ordered 2 gallons of sweet tea and food. I was told that it would be a few minutes for them to brew it, so instead of me holding the drive thru line up I decided to park and go inside to get the tea. The young girl at the register had to tip the container of sweet tea to fill the bags and it was so bitter. It was not freshly brewed. Normally I love their sweet tea, but this time it was horrible! Please do better & don't tell your customers your going to brew fresh tea and then EMPTY the old containers rather than making fresh tea.
Was expecting Taco Bell-esque style and flavor (and let’s be honest, quality). Nachos tasted like they were from a high school football game concession stand and the burrito from the frozen section of the grocery store. Friendly staff, pretty good sweet tea too.
This is one of the best managed and clean Taco Casas I have been to. They work to make sure everyone gets to order quickly, and the food is out quick. I have been asked if I needed drink refills at my table. Top notch! Edit 2-26-2020 - Today I went in and noticed they were charging for not paying in cash. I rarely carry cash. $0.57 is 3.78% on the total. If that is what they pay their credit card processor, they need to find another. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
The food is ok, a little to much cheese, the service is quick but there front register was horrible, he had no motivation, non friendly, rude, this place needs serious help with there front staff
Everything is good about the food and service! However whoever is making the food could do better! The last few times I have gotten food here it has been all over the outside and pouring out into the trey it’s in. If they would put the sauce in the whole burrito instead of just one end it wouldn’t do this. Please do better!
Last few times I have picked up food the portions are getting smaller and smaller and I always get super burritos and they always forget ingredients in the super burrito! Used to love their crunchy tacos even when they were $1.39 each dollar 59 each now they're $1.79 they are a lot smaller and they're not good anymore!
I stood at the counter and watched one staff membwr leaning on the counter on thier phone. The other one looked at me and walked off. I finally just gave up and left.
Came here at 7pm on a Tuesday. All the chairs were on the tables. I walked in and asked the cashier why the chairs were all up. They said,"We're about to close the lobby so we don't have to be here until midnight." They don't close until 10pm. I've worked at restaurants. That's ridiculous. I can't imagine any manager I've ever worked with doing this, even if only half the staff showed up. They didn't even leave a note on the door apologizing or explaining why, if there was reason. Multiple people came up and left while we ate outside. We would've just left too, if we didn't live 30 minutes outside of town. Also, they got our food wrong. We are not coming back.
Holly Molly, walked inside disgusting food prep area. Absolutely no excuse for a kitchen are to be that filthy!! This has happened twice now!!
Had a really awkward interaction with the person taking my order. The cashier said nothing to me not even hello, what can I get for you, which is a typical greeting for fast food restaurants. I had the feeling they didn't want me there. Probably will not come back
Unfortunately the management and owners aren't upfront to handling problems created by this establishment nor are they professional at handling the simple issues they encounter. That dwindles down to the staff and creates problems with an unprofessional approach to serving quality fast food service to the B/CS area. Major improvement is needed. Until this business reaches that, there are many other opportunities to enjoy Mexican food, unfortunately this is not the place.
I would do a neagtive star if possible. First time I have ever been to this location an I now see why it's dead. The employees here have no idea what they are doing , I made my purchase an me an my son was gonna split payment the guy at the register kept running my card for the entire bill and I had told him not to that it was a split payment- so now my account in the negative an instead of trying to fix the issue he gave a 50% police discount. I asked to speak to a manager an was told they wasn't here and the whole time she was staning there watching. Horrible customer service
Last few visits had been inconsistent and today I had a very rude employee at the drive though. Plenty of places to get Mexican food that are convenient, consistent and friendly. Hope yall can get it together soon, people will forget all about you if this is what you're serving.
Ordered lunch for my staff and got stale crunchy tacos and dripping with grease burritos. Just threw it all away and went somewhere else. Used to be good, not sure what has changed.
Was very disappointed in the service and food quality. Am used to the Kerrville location but this was nothing like that. Took 20 minutes to get my order of only 4 items and the restaurant was not busy. It was around 7:15pm when I walked in and they were locking up the doors while I was waiting for my food. Just seemed like no one wanted to be there, I guess that’s why they decided they were closing early. First time in Bryan and I was excited there was a taco casa but I will never come back to this one. I’d try the one up the road in college station, a guy there told me that one was better
Can’t pay attention to orders to make sure it’s complete. Don’t waste money here. There are multiple Taco Bell’s surrounding this establishment.
I have never had a problem with my order until today. First I got the wrong order, had to turn around for the correct order but there was an item missing. I called due to the convenience of turning around again and I was hung up on. I called back and the receiver acted as if she was unable to hear me when obviously she could. I ended up turning around again just to walk inside and request for what was not included with my order. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but come on man. Then when I asked why I was hung up on, the response what they couldn’t hear. Okay.
Food always was ok but at least you got a big portion. Now they are cutting back and no longer worth it.
This particular Taco casa is the definition of hit or miss, but when it misses it misses hard. Cold food, stale tortillas, soggy lettuce, cold beans. This place used to be great.
Okay I went in to get my usual Super Burrito and I know that it cost $4.97, I handed the lady at the window a five dollar bill. Got my food they shut the window and never gave meet my change. Granted that it was only 3 cents. that's not what I'm arguing about. It's the ethics of the business. They wanted to argue with me about the change So I asked for a nickel and they reluctantly didn't want to give it to me at first eventually gave it to me. As I'm driving away I can hear people yelling at me through their window and I turn around with the nickel in hand and I come back. When I get inside I asked them what was said out that that window and they said they didn't say anything but have a good day. Not true, I handed them the Nickelback and told them it wasn't worth it and I went and got my food out of the car brought back and ask him for my money back. course they did take their time getting the money back to me.Not only did the business lose a customer, they lost profit, lost money on food that is now waste, unless resold the burrito (unethical due to food was in customers possession and out of site of employees)Again this has nothing to do with the pennies it has to do with the ethics of the business I ran food service at 30 some odd years and when I was short on change I gave the customer back their change plus a little. That is the correct ethic and also they should had been letting the customer know at the window that they were out of those specific change it would give a customer a chance to scrounge around in the car to see if there's change that they can give them. Not to mention also telling every customer every day that they don't have change eventually that builds up to a point where the manager does not want to the boss to see that extra money coming in so they take it off the top and hands it out to the employees. Having a tip jar at the drive-thru window it's not really a good idea especially at the front counter as well. I worked in restaurants all my life and never expected a tip from a individual that comes and stands at the counter or drive-thru and orders their food. These are people who think they're entitled to something that shouldn't be. they make the owner look bad and the business look bad
So this place is closed down at 6:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday. If you plan on eating here, and the food is OK, don’t bother trying to come in before closing. They are always closed three hours in advance!
Terrible experience today when usually there on point. Tacos were just thrown together with the cheese being on the outside of the shell. Looks like they were having a good time when I arrived at the window to pay. Normally it’s a win win situation but not this evening.
I usually don’t take time out to do a review but need to let all Casa Taco fans that I just tried to eat a crispy taco and it had so much grease in it it was unbelievable. They have lost my business forever!! They used to be so good when the previous owners operated them. Just a shame!!
I used to love Taco Casa but this was my last visit to this location. See the abundance of grease and "cheese oil" flowing out of my burritos. This is absolutely disgusting. This made the tortillas soggy and nasty. The only reason I left 1 star is because the gentleman in the drive through was polite. Even though our food sat there for over 5 minutes before he gave it to us. Taco Casa Bryan, you have to be better than this if you are going to survive. You lost a customer tonight
