Great food and enjoyable atmosphere. Thank you!
My wife and I love Mexican food. We were at a nearby Hotel who referred us here and we absolutely loved the food. The best Mexican food we've had in the area thus far. Great service and super friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Stopped in last week for a casual lunch and got some amazing food! I highly recommend the birria tacos and stuffed shrimp. Very friendly service and quick to get your food.
Portions are generous. I always have to choose to order an appetizer or an entre. If I order both, I always have to take some home. We were served quickly and the food was delicious.
10/10. Best salsa, guacamole, Al pastor tacos, and chimichangas we’ve ever had. We didn’t get into any drinks but the menu is impressive! We’ll be trying some margaritas next time
Food was amazing service was great I can’t wait to go back
This place is awesome , but seriously dj Juan and dj Machito needs to come and check in sometime and play there music we miss them🧡🩷🩷💚🩵
Excellent everything. We are from Arizona, so we have high expectations for Mexican food and Taqueria Ranchos Dos exceeded our expectations in every way.
The food here is so good! The servers are kind and courteous! I moved to Buffalo within the last 6 months and have made it a point to try many different places! The very first time I tried this restaurant, I knew it would be a top favorite. Every time we eat here the food is so good, wonderful quality, and the service is awesome.
PERFECT!! amazing food, amazing staff, couldn’t ask for a more perfect mexican restaurant 🤍
I’ve been here many of times, the place is bumpin and the food is great. They are honest with the food and really care about the customers experience. Sitting outside is lovely on a warm day being inside can be overwhelming on a DJ night but overall is nice for young people. Birthdays here are next level and they give you a hat to wear and dessert to share. All and all 10/10 been coming back and gonna stay coming back
We went during happy hour, and it was a good time for an affordable price. Do your own toppings bar with all the different choices was great and not something you see anymore.
Can’t go wrong with anything here. Food is always generously portioned and pipin’ hot & delicious. Drinks are very reasonably priced and made well and the staff is always up beat and ready to help the guest have a great experience. Was in last night and knocked down a margarita tower (which is on special for $25 on Sundays) and an order of their Chicken Birria tacos. The birria consomé seemed to be authentically made and was packed with flavor. Will probably be my new Sunday tradition.
I love this place. Vibes food and drinks. We come here weekly. Hands down best Mexican in the state. Maybe the whole country. 🫶
This is some of the best Mexican I’ve had in Buffalo. The service was great, drinks amazing, and delicious food!
Best Mexican restaurant in Buffalo right now. I especially appreciate their tacos made with more exotic ingredients. Also their soups, including pozole.
Love this place! I come often, at least weekly. It’s always consistently good! You cannot beat their daily specials and the Happy hour deals are so reasonable! I just wish it went til Maybe 6 or 7 instead of 5 o’clock!
My first visit review. The atmosphere was very inviting! The staff was very pleasant! The mariachi/Mexican music is played throughout. The decor gives the authentic vibe! I ordered three tacos (barbacoa, pollo, chorizo) with rice and beans. The barbacoa WAS DEE-LIIISSSHH-OUS!!!! Very seasoned and tender…MY FAVORITE! The rice and beans are plentiful. And reasonably priced for the amount of food.
One of best Mexican joints I have been to in my life. The food was top notch, the vibe was so lively and in sync with the Mexican culture. The staff were also so cool especially Fernando who served us ,what an amazing fella.
Best happy hour in town for those drinking on a budget. Taco Tuesday will get you tipsy, well-fed and happy, even after the bill arrives :)
José and his team are great, from the entrance to the food , to the party. Great place year round. Love the margaritas at happy hour . And the soups over the weekend.
Our fav local Mexican place. Never fails! The margs are great, as well as the service. Food is definitely one of the most authentic in the area, as well. Everything is fresh, and the topping bar is always stocked.
A great taqueria with bold, authentic flavors and quick service. The tortillas taste fresh, the meats are well seasoned, and the toppings bring everything together without overpowering the tacos. Casual atmosphere, fair prices, and food that keeps you coming back. A reliable go-to when the taco craving hits.
probably my favorite restaurant in all of buffalo. my boyfriend and i come here at least once a week and the food is AMAZING every single time. the service is also amazing and i love how friendly the staff is, you can tell they work with pride and love. if you’re thinking about coming here don’t think just do it!!
If you’ve never had the beef burrito at Taqueria Ranchos Dos, let me explain it like this: it’s the culinary equivalent of the 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team. Pure dominance. Poise under pressure. Strength wrapped in grit. Humble on the outside, but inside? Absolute firepower. That burrito didn’t just feed me—it lined up at the 50-yard line, stared me down like Marcus Freeman giving the pregame speech, and then ran me over with the authority of CJ Carr slinging a touchdown to Jordan Faison. Every bite was a first down, every chew a defensive stand by Benjamin Morrison. By the time I hit the last bite, I was basically storming the field in victory. And don’t even get me started on the margarita. Smooth. Balanced. Dangerous. The kind of drink that sneaks up like Jeremiah Love breaking a 60-yard run while the defense is still tying their shoes. Honestly, I half expected the glass to sing the alma mater when I finished it. Taqueria Ranchos Dos isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a playoff contender. Just like Notre Dame this year, it’s got all the tools: grit, flavor, and that little extra something that says, “We’re not here for jokes like Miami—we’re here to dominate.” Book it: five stars, zero regrets, and one step closer to eternal burrito glory.
Excellent. Very clean, they were wiping all the menus. The spot beside me was cleared quickly. The bartender was careful about spraying cleaner so as not to splash me. No dust on shelves. Food was excellent. Nacho chips were warm. Taco topping cart was fresh and well stocked. Music was just the right music level. Service excellent. Parking is the only downside, they have no parking lot.
Important: the beans that come with all dishes, including vegetarian ones, are NOT vegetarian. They are cooked with pork grease. They should have a vegetarian option, like black beans. It would also be nice to have a vegetarian chilaquiles option. I don't understand why it costs more money to have a vegetarian lunch enchilada than the meat. Holy guacamole was fire! 🔥 CHORIPOLLO!!! They gave us 4, not 3, tortillas which was perfect. Vegetarian dishes were quite good. Always good service although it can be quite busy.
Food was good! Service was a little slower than it has been with other visits. Overall, it's a nice Tex-Mexican restaurant to take the family and friends
This is one of our favorite places. The service is on point everytime. All of the food is yummy including the steak dinner. As for the margaritas "yesss...keep them coming'!!
Waiter was excellent. Came in & got seated immediately. Food was amazing. Go check my video on TikTok @Cam_to.valid
Had three tacos yesterday and a beer Food was great and price I found was very reasonable. Bar tender/server service was great and she was also great to look at … I also am unsure if I just picked the right night but the crowd was also great 👍… definitely felt like I stumbled on a little gem in the city
Ordered nachos with ground beef and a chicken taco. The nachos were ok, and maybe I would have been happier if they added the “supreme” upgrade I paid for. However, it was a great lunch size if you’re hungry. The chicken taco was small but delicious!
The food is good. You pay a premium price for it being so close to downtown. The location is the only thing justifying the price. I paid $90 for my spouse and I to have lunch on a Tuesday. Small queso, small margarita, veggie fajitas, a few tacos that we had to add sides to, waters. Its one of the better options in the city. But I've had better Mexican food at multiple restaurants in the suburbs. I asked for no salt on my margarita- got tons of salt. Veggie fajitas had some unchewable pieces of broccoli stems and tomatoes that were reduced to skin and mush. Server said tacos were 2.50 for Tuesday, didn't tell us Asado tacos weren't included before or after ordering them. We felt rushed out of there despite it being empty, because they kept trying to take our food and drinks away before we were done. Despite all of this, we've been here before and had a great time with a bill half that price and no pressure to hurry. Not sure what happened this time. But again, at least its one of the better options when you're stuck in the city.
The restaurant becomes a nightclub. The food is great. The music is loud. One of a few places where you can get good food late. The bar is lovely and the people seem to know each other. After the body search at the door we were welcomed with beautiful smiles. Everything we ordered was excellent... Tacos, tostados, carnitas, etc.
Read some reviews and decided to try it since we happened to be in the area. I ordered the steak fajitas. It wasn't bad but wasn't as good as it smelled; could have used some flavor. My daughter ordered the chicken burrito and she was pleased with it. We saw the waitress once. My daughter asked for a second glass of water but since the waitress never returned, she had to go inside, pay and ask for boxes. Service could have been a bit better. It wasn't that busy so we assumed she forgot about our table
Came in for lunch and ordered a grilled chicken quesadilla and rice. Got a shredded quesadilla at first which the staff quickly remedied. Salsa was more on the sweeter side but very bland. Chicken was good but the cheese was completely overwhelming. Rice was pretty bland too. Paid $15 for my meal, which is decent but probably won’t make the trek back out here.
Stopped by last week since i was in town. The place looks great, the employees are terrific. The food was decent, felt a bit bland and not really homemade taste i was hoping for. Slightly pricey on some staple mexican dishes, but i guess it is more of a bar then a restaurant.
The Elote was good and the people were nice but that’s about it. Messy food is usually good but this was terrible. The meat was flavorless, the chicken was cold, and the corn tortillas tasted like they were old and cook in old grease. Not to mention, you have to leave your belongings unattended to put toppings on the tacos or carry things with you. 😡😡. Additionally, the menu had some type of sauce smashed within the pages. Clearly, they don’t wipe the menus off between use . Again, I will return for the Elote but nothing else.
Restaurant was incredibly loud for someone with auditory sensitivities. Had a migraine within in minutes of entering the place. Food was great though! However, one of our veggie meals had multiple pieces of chicken in it to our displeasure. Orders were taken immediately, but all our food came with missing items. The worst part of about eating there was that it took incredibly long to get our check and get out. We waited an hour just to get our check and then the quantity of multiple food items were incorrect which just increase the bill significantly. Then just to get the check corrected, we had to wait another 20 minutes just to get the waitresses' attention to get her to fix our check. Then it took another 20ish minutes to get the new check and then we had trouble just getting her attention so we could get the billed paid for. Honestly it felt like the waitress was really pushing us to dine and dash that night. TLDR: Food is good but it didn't come with everything and service is horrendous.
They didnt put any of the vegetables in my quesadilla, I got solidified, cold cheese. Two miniature quesadillas, add the tiniest waterered down salsa EVER for 29.00, and I also tipped on that. They neglected to tell me over the phone that their kitchen was closed due to remodelling, so they were doing all oders from a small flat top outside, and obviously had no way to keep their cheese hot. It was completely terrible. Ill never return...The staff is super friendly, but I just wanted good food, not friends. I did however give an extra extra for the kindness amd smiles...but there was nothing authentic tadting in the food.
The food here was trash. Had the quesadilla, guacamole and fajitas. The guacamole was the only good thing. The other stuff was salty and clearly not made by Mexicans. My hometown has the 2nd largest population of Mexicans in the USA. So I know Mexican cuisine well. This was garbage!!!
I Door dashed food from here, food came super cold (my place is less than 8 minutes away and the food arrived 10 minutes after me ordering. The food should’ve still been hot). I ordered a large quesadilla and there was hardly any chicken in it. I basically ate a large empty tortilla. The reviews on this restaurant seems ok so I’m not sure if they just don’t cater to their door dash customers or what. Waste of my $30!!
Ordered lunch for me and a few others online (not through a food delivery service, through their online portal). When I went to pick up the food, they said they did not have the order and that I would have to wait. Ok, things happen. About 15 minutes later, my food came out and I was told I am all set. I realized once I got to my car that the bags had my full name on it (I never told them my last name when I went into the restaurant), so they did in fact receive the online order at some point. Seems to me that they either ignored the order when it came through or there is an issue with their Swipeby and they didn't get the order until later. Also, the food was soaking, the taco salads that were in the order ended up being soggy and falling apart.
Ordered from there for new years eve, paid extra for cheese on the tacos and didn't get cheese on them. Nachos with queso we ordered had more burnt cheese in the tin than non burnt. Bean dip was queso with a singular bean dropped in it. My enchiladas were pretty good at least. Everything else felt like an April's fool day prank.
Unfortunately, I Have To Update This Review And Change The Rating. Within The Last 2 Weeks, I've Been Back About 10 Times Because Everything Was Amazing! However, When I Placed My Order Today At 4PM For 1 Birria Taco Dinner, With No Beans In My Rice (Because I'm Allergic) With Extra Crunchy Shells & A Extra Side Of Consume. I Was Told 10 Minutes On The Phone. I Work In A Kitchen So I Understand Waiting A Little Longer. I Waited 25 Minutes At The Bar. Which Would've Been Absolutely Fine IF The Food I Was Getting Would've Matched The Wait Time. I Was Given Rice With Beans, So I Asked Bernardo To Switch It Out, That Made Me Open The Plastic Container With The Tacos. Which Weren't Even Fried At All, Had Absolutely No Meat. It Looked Like The Cook Microwaved The Shell With Mozzarella Cheese. 😢 I Asked Bernardo If There's A New Cook In The Kitchen Because On Saturday July 27TH, I Bought The Entire Kitchen Staff A Round Of Beers For Their End Of Shift Clean Up For Their Amazing Cooking. Bernardo Said He Wasn't Sure Because He Only Works Wednesdays. Sadly Today I Walked Out Of Ranchos Without My Favorite Dinner. I Had To Get A Refund. As A Manager Myself, I Worked 12 Hours In A Kitchen Today While Bragging About Getting Out To Go Get These Amazing Tacos. I'm So Disappointed 😥 What Happened Today Ranchos?! My Daughter & I Have A New Birria Taco Addiction We Ordered 3 Dinners Tonight, They Were Absolutely AMAZING! It Was Our First Time Here, We'll Definitely Be Back! We Were Left Speechless 🫶
When we first discovered this place near us we were super happy with the prices and ambiance. The food was good for the price...that isn't the case anymore. In less than a year (since May 2025 when we last ordered) they've nearly doubled their prices for most of the menu. I appreciate the owner's response to my review, thank you. I can give more details: They literally have seafood soup for $40 a portion...what?? Mexican food is supposed to be humble. I have ordered the Al pastor torta three or four times and it's different everytime. It has never once had all the ingredients listed in the menu description (which are avocado, lettuce, tomatoes and salsa, in addition to the meat). It usually just has beans and the meat...which makes for a very incomplete tasting torta. Also, they suddenly raised the price from $9 to $16. If it's never even made correctly why would I pay $16? If the food had been incredible, I'd be ok paying more...but it isn't. The food definitely isn't worth the price anymore, especially considering the inconsistencies.
We sat ourselves at a table in a lower area but we were asked to move to an upper area. Unfortunately we were barely seen. We ordered a drink tower, soft drink and lemon water. We only received the drink tower. We had to ask other staff for things and unfortunately they went to our server with what we needed and we never received it. One of our guests arrived after we ordered and never ordered food because of how long it took for the server to come (not) to the table. The food was decent. The chicken and shrimp fajita was dry. Waited forever for the bill. We had to go to the counter for the bill and had to go back to pay. We won’t be back
So I ordered online, thinking I would have a lovely burritos and flan, how ever when the burrito and flan was brought to me, I was highly disappointed. Not only was the burrito was very sloppy that the meat was falling out and unappetizing at the fact that some mystery juice was making it all wet, they didn’t put any lettuce or sour cream in my burrito but on the side of the burrito, and to top it all off I didn’t even get my flan, instead I had gotten cake, and it doesn’t even taste all that great, it tasted very old like it been in the fridge for a week or so. But I do not blame them for the flan, but what I do blame was that fact that the burrito wasn’t to my expectations and seems to be done very quickly and fastly instead of with some bit of care.
Was one of of my favorite bartender just totally lost me! Serving me any kind of drink any kind of way very ignorant & rude doesn't care about satisfying customer at all also so rudely put the lid to my drink on the counter top as if I'm supposed to put it on my drink off the counter unbelievable such a sassy bartender ! Young lady at the door to welcome you in was totally amazing !
I don't know what has gotten into the food. It used to be a lot better, but it seems to be going downhill not as good as it used to be.
Would give 0 if I could. I was missing 50 dollars worth of food from my delivery. I called to see if I could go pick up my missing items. And they asked for my name and then hung up after a few seconds. Not only did they steal my money but they were extremely rude and hung up instead of admitting a mistake I wasn't even super upset about. Their food they did deliver was also mid but their service is what made me give this review.
This place was horrible last night after the Superbowl. Why are security guards using pepper spray to take people out?! Because of that I fell because I couldn't see and I hurt my knees. But they will be getting reported! This is insane. That's not how you treat people. That was my 3rd time there and will be the last. But these people will get reported!
Went in there with about an hour to spear for lunch, waited about 10 mins to be seated, waitress sat us in the back ALONE and forgot about us, when I stood up she seem me and came back to take my order after 15 more minutes, I asked to be move to the front she said fine, didn’t take the menus or silverware for us so I grabbed them she then walked away and we sat our self’s, after 15 MORE minutes the waitress came took our order and walked away. We are now 50 minutes in with no foods or drinks, we ordered the taco for taco Tuesday… it was the most disgusting tacos I ever experienced.. I have ate from the best tacos in Texas and cali to the worst tacos but these ones seriously sucked, like baddddd. Like we were still hungry after a $50 tab bc we barely touched them. Fr chipotle tacos are 1000x better.
The Delaware location is not the place you want to go! About 6 of us came in and did get seated right away drinks ordered but I seen this waitress was the only one working which is crazy! I could see she was trying her best but we were there for an hour just one order of drinks and chips and salsa and the waitress still didn’t come to check on us! We had to ask the bartender for the bill and she just kept walking past us beforehand and no service still! Drinks where great but service was horrible! Delaware location needs more attention! We did end up at the Niagara street location and was seated and serviced right away and we literally instantly put in a food order and didn’t have any issues at all! The food was great at the Niagara location and our waitress always made sure we had all we needed! Just go to Niagara street not Delaware!!!
Never one to do this, especially being a young person who has worked/ been in management positions in the restaurant industry for 8 years, but I had to speak about my experience at the restaurant this evening. Had been here many times, and tonight we were one of maybe 5 tables on a saturday night and there were multiple servers/bartenders working. Our service wasn’t even bad it was nonexistent. Server didn’t make eye contact or ever check on our table. We had to ask for chips multiple times and he never brought them. kept asking and still nothing. Even had to stop a different server and ask for chips because he still did not bring them. The food was honestly mediocre at best. Our server then proceeded to take our food away as we were still eating, and I mean in the middle of putting a chip in our mouths. Even though this made us feel so awkward, we asked for a manager and another server said there was not one working. This other server gave us 25% off our tab. Speaking from management experience, if you aren’t going to have a manager on duty, teach your employees how to handle these situations. The other server said that our original server “must not be feeling good”, with which i responded “well he’s been laughing and joking around with his coworkers the entire time we’ve been here so that’s not the case.” I’m not sure if our server just didn’t care or if he was intoxicated. Absolutely will not be back and I hope this is a wake up call for management.
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT !!!! The most disgusting food I have ever had in my life. I’ve gotten food from here a few times and I’ve never had the experience that I had tonight ordering from Postmates. We spent about $60 on tacos that literally consisted of fat and nachos that were just liquid cheese and meat. Meat was undercooked. Food looked like barf and the chicken soup literally tasted like throw up. I gagged. I am beyond disgusted and disappointed. I don’t care how good their food was this place has completely fallen off and is now serving the absolute worst food ive ever had in my life. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT GET FOOD FROM THIS PLACE!!!! Any restaurant that serves food like what I received tonight deserves to go out of business. I’m now sick to my stomach!
The single worst dining experience of my life and this was my 30th birthday celebration to make matters worse. I had a party of 8 that I called to make reservations for the patio on Sunday for Labor Day on Monday. When we arrived they told us that the patio was full of bees and most people come back inside anyways. So, they put us in the way back corner of the restaurant. We had an older female server who did not speak ANY English at all. Immediately upon the first drink order she did not understand what my friend was trying to order, a margarita with the top shelf liquor they offer. This drink order literally took five minutes alone, of her and him going back and forth, back and forth, I was SO embarrassed and it was SO awkward for all of us. There were eight people at this table. So, the drink orders literally took 15 minutes. We didn't get any of our drinks for an hour including water. She never gave us any water in the meantime and there were two bowls of chips and salsa for eight people for one hour. She never asked if we wanted any appetizers either. Upon taking our food order, it was actually worse because she didn't understand what any of us were ordering although every order was from their menu. Even when we were pointing to the menu. I thought I should dumb down my order to tacos, but since it was my birthday, I pointed to the Enchiladas Supremes and asked if I could get them all beef and literally held up my fingers for four and said beef about 10 times and no sour cream. All of our food came out without her ever coming back to our table to ask for more drink orders or give us water even, and we never got any more chips either - an hour later. We were at the restaurant for over two hours. My order came out wrong as expected. It was the chicken, beef, bean, cheese with sour cream. My boyfriend ordered TWO ground beef tacos (which they serve a shell and meat and make you get your own toppings) and his food was the LAST to come out. That's insane! I told her the order was wrong, she literally walked into the kitchen without ever saying anything like I'm sorry or what was wrong with it? and came back with the exact same plate! All of my friends were shocked. She didn't understand a word any of us said. This entire experience was so cringey, embarrassing, awkward, horrible service, horrible atmosphere, and horrible food. The bill was over $270 that we had to put on one check with 18% gratuity! The worst service I have ever had! We would've had a better meal at Taco Bell! If the management wants to make this right with me, I want our money back because this was the worst dining experience of our lives and I'll never stop telling everyone about it until it is made kosher. To be clear - every single Mexican restaurant I've ever been to understands my order of the Enchiladas Supremes all beef, no sour cream. And I actually had to get up and ask another server if we could have our server come back and take our drink orders. He took my drink order so it could come to the table. All the tables around us ate and left before we got our drinks. My friend was charged for sour cream and she never got it. We went to Casa Azul after and actually on the walk over, I threw up in my mouth from the acid in their frozen margarita mix. I didn't end up eating the majority of my birthday lunch and the beef was actually the grossest one, as it was burnt to a crisp and hard. Everyone texted me how horrible they felt afterwards. Literally wish I had a time machine and I would've waited until La Fiesta Cantina on Allen was open another day. Also - there is no parking lot at the restaurant, we parked and my friends told me I had to move my car so my boyfriend moved it for me. As we left, we were swarmed by bees trying to take pictures outside. I wish I had known how terrible this experience would have been beforehand and that they were never going to sit us on the patio to begin with because that is what I wanted to sit outside for Labor Day.
Tried this spot last night for the first time and was overly unimpressed! We waited over 10 minutes to be seated, then sat nearly an hour before making a break for it. We weren’t offered drinks, we were served chips with dip without a single word. The place was crowded and staff were frantically crawling about the establishment! I finally requested a manager for the lack of service and a waitress came bustling over, exclaiming she thought we were already handled. The ladies room was unsanitary and hardly anyone cared to socially distance or wear masks. What a sad waste of a taco Tuesday!
We ordered pickup and were absolutely shocked at how terrible the food was. We ordered a quesadilla and a burrito. The quesadilla was extremely greasy and floppy. A bunch of the meat just fell out when I picked it up. That's how lacking of cheese it had. The burrito tasted horrible. Overwhelming salt flavor. Very disappointed with our experience
I ordered through Ubereats on 09/7/2022. They sent me burnt black pork, cold tamales, one wasn’t even wrapped and the end was broke off, not to mention they forgot my Mexican Coke. They literally sent a bunch of inedible food. Going to bed hungry after a long days work suck, what a waste of money. Won’t get my business again.
Usually Mexican food is best, at least it will be good. But not his restaurant. Don't expect minimum taste. Leave the mexian taste you know, discover the worst mexian food taste you can ever discover. Not one thing you will like it hear. People can take a course hear on how not to Serve people. No response. One guy does multiple jobs as server, take out order, bar and many more to discover. If you think I am done.. you are mistaken.. it won't be over yet. If you drink then prepare the check your bill they will add items you didn't eat for. Making people be aware of checking the bill. Maybe it's a social service they are offering for free. So expect less, get worst and leave unhappy. Now I feel Google should think of adding a negative starts, so people can review restaurants like this. Over all it's a frustrating experience and give me so much time after I gave my credit card to pay and they gave all this time to type. True lads. Hope the management see this review have a laugh and change nothing! Have a great day!!
If I could give them zero stars I would, I had a to go order put in 45 minutes ago. I come to the restaurant to pick up the order. They tell me 10 minutes. I go outside wait 15 minutes. Come back, lady gives me an attitude and says “GIVE ME A MINUTE” I said what’s a minute you guys said it will be ready in 10 minutes it’s been 15. She says It’ll be another 10 minutes! Highly recommend choosing somewhere else. They will waste your time and not even compensate with maybe a free item or money off the bill. Why tell me ten minutes if you didn’t plan on having it done in ten minutes? Horrible customer service.
Came in on a Saturday at 5pm. Had 1 1/2 break from work. We were greeted and told to find a table. Not busy at all. Server came, brought us chips and enough salsa for 1/4 of the chips. We did not order drinks. My husband ordered chicken fajitas and I ordered a shredded chicken taco salad. After 10 minutes, the server brought our meal except, uh oh,it wasn't the right one. Wrong table! I told him the quesadilla on this massive plate with sides looked great but wasn't what I ordered. He took it away. My husband started getting his tortillas ready and was eating some rice off the second plate they brought for the fajitas when the server returned to say the fajitas order wasn't his either. The took it away after it sat on our table for at least a minute or more. While my husband didn't touch it, we hoped it wasn't put in front of someone else because I know I wouldn't like to eat food that set in front of somebody else and the server left it for a bit. Well, 10 minutes later we get our meal. My husband's fajitas looked good; he enjoyed them. I got my taco salad. I started to mix the ingredients in the taco shell only to find it was a soupy mess. The taco bowl broke open due to the queso cheese that was poured into the bowl and it made the lettuce soggy and looked more like taco soup than taco salad. I got the menu to see what was supposed to be in it and it said there was supposed to be beans and tomatoes. Tomatoes??? The server came over, I explained it was mess and he offered to remake it. Yay. A while later another server brought out another one. See pictures. Still no tomatoes. Still soupy, I didn't eat any of it. They didn't charge me for it, I left hungry after eating one of my husband's fajitas and no dinner. Last visit. No thanks.
They charge almost $5 for a bottle of jarritos and their menus are outdated at the front. I was expecting to pay four dollars less than my total order and they told me “oh those are outdated and we shouldn’t have given you that”. 14.99 for nachos is absurd. When I tried to get a refund, they said they already started making my food and couldn’t be canceled. The server was nice but not enough to let myself get scammed. I had the ground beef nachos which were fine but didn’t really have anything besides ground beef, queso, and tortilla chips. For as much as it cost, I was expecting at least lettuce and tomato. They did ask me if I wanted to make it supreme (another scam attempt) and I declined. There are much better options for casual Mexican food at better prices. I don’t recommend this place at all.
High end prices for mediocre tacos. Nothing spectacular about this place. Make sure you read the prices and fine print before ordering. $18.72 for 4 Fountain drinks is crazy. My 9 year old ordered 3 basic beef tacos nothing special and was asked if she wanted cheese and sour cream. She said yes, little did we know each topping was extra they even charged for the tortillas separately! Call me crazy but shouldn't the tortillas come with the taco price? No rice or shredded lettuce, no sides just 3 basic tacos. Since the chicken wings were $16.36 I figured they'd be jumbo wings or even regular sized wings. Oh boy was I wrong, They were more like pigeon wings they were so tiny. I added a picture with a wing on my Costco card for size. 18% gratuity is ridiculous seeing that I had to get up and find the waitress for more salsa and chips. $27.18 was the tip. I would have gave her $20.00 only because she didn't tell us about all the extras, even the chips and salsa were $8.30 extra. $47 for non alcoholic drinks is insane. 4 Pepsis and 3 horchatas $47. Prices do not match atmosphere or food.
DO NOT ORDER HERE! Ordered take out last night and got 4 shrimp tacos with lettuce and tomato added, two sides of rice and a side of guacamole with chips. How is this 56$!!!! Never in my life have I ever seen a restaurant add a to-go fee? Then to be charged over $2 for each topping when it was and few pieces of lettuce and a couple chunky tomatoes. On top of paying for none the less any topping, they charged us for the cheese and sour cream that she said came with the tacos? All of this for it not even to taste good…. So so disappointed that I even had to pay $56 for this horrible “meal”.
