I order food to-go, so I cannot speak much to the atmosphere. I was very impressed by the quality of the food. First, it smells delicious... that's always a good sign. Second, I was impressed by the quality of the food ingredients: from the cheese to the produce to the meat, it was all very above average. I feel the price was extremely reasonable for the quality of the food. I will definitely visit again!
Great Torchy’s location. I’ve ordered here tons of times and they’ve only got my order wrong once and quickly fixed it. I love the Brushfire and when they have the mango refresher!
I love every location of Torchy's I find. My only complaint about this location is the parking lot. It can get crowded at lunch time. But otherwise, it's just as good as all the other Torchy's.
I love Torchy’s - we keep coming back each time we want tacos! We always order chips and queso. Favorites are: republican, Mr orange, brushfire. Great options: hogfather, Baja shrimp and right now the space cowboy. You shouldn’t miss it!
I was raised on tacos made my authentic Tex Mex family. The Barbocoa taco comes close to my childhood memories. The tortillas will never match mom's or my abuelas but they were okay. They are not chinchy with how much they put in the taco. Good value. I was a Torchy's deniar and never gave them a chance until recently. Go for it you won't be disappointed.
I was immediately impressed by the customer service and knowledge of Nathan, the employee that took my order. My meal was great, I mean, c c'mon, green chili queso and yummy tacos, yum. I decided to share my experience with Jordan the manager and was equally impressed with him and his principles and best practices. Super impressed and will be back soon and often!
Excellent food! Prices have gotten so high everywhere and it seems like food quality has gotten lower at so many places that we rarely go out to eat anymore. But we stopped in here with a gift card from a friend and were amazed at how delicious everything was. We’ll be back soon! Try the churros!

Love this place!!! Great food and reasonable prices!! Friendly staff and atmosphere. Highly\n recommend!
Great spot and some great food. We have been coming here for not only the great employee experiences but the calm atmosphere. Can't say enough on how tasty the tacos are!

People in Austin get pretty excited about their tacos, probably holds true toany other locations as well. Torchy's has successfully grown their presence by offering a large selection of fixin's to tempt your palate with, from mild to wild. And, there's a hidden menu for those who dare....
Recently had an enjoyable dinner at this Torchy's in Cedar Park. Menu features a few not-taco and side items along with their signature list soft tacos that are really good. We tried 6-7 of their different tacos, let's just say that nobody complained and we gladly finished them all. They seem to know what they are doing in the kitchen. Would gladly eat here again and do take-away for meals at home.
Got some tacos to go on a busy weekday. Service was quick and staff was friendly!\n\nTacos were tasty as usual!

Been coming here for a couple of years and this location needs a little more attention from corporate. The staff usually is very welcoming but now it seems they have been replaced by a digital kiosk which was unexpected and impersonal for what started out and still publicly identifies as a “local” business brand; I tipped the bar staff personally (why tip a machine?). The half the TVs were turned off and there was hardly any audible ambient music. The garbage areas and restrooms needed tending to as well. The meat in Crossroads tacos I have ordered for years at various of their locations were lackluster and no longer have the doubled-corn tortillas. Cut-backs in all aspects? Seems so to me.
Not bad but not great in my opinion. I hear a lot of people love this place. The service was pretty quick and the staff was friendly. I don't think the food is bad I just think it isn't my personal preference. The queso is a little spicy if you're okay with that. The 1/2 was a lot smaller than I expected and it all seemed a bit pricey for what it was. Probably won't be back but would probably recommend for someone looking for quick very Americanized tacos. The environment and atmosphere are good, they have outdoor seating which is nice.
Fun vibe gone, replaced with excuses about having no rice....still great queso...but the rest...just so-so...........Just went back today on a whim...actually close to work to grab a breakfast taco. Place pretty empty and employee was able to sit down. After awhile, we asked about our order and she got up to look for it as someone else brought it out. Must say it tasted pretty good. Upping my score from two stars to three but still feel this place could use some improvement in staffing.

Usually a big fan of Torchys but this location was definitely not a shining example for this visit. The restroom was very unclean and the sink could barely drain due to what appeared to be leftovers from a haircut in the sink. The Trashy Trailer Park was as good as it normally it, but the chips were very stale and the cilantro in the queso wasn't even really chopped and the ratio of cheese to cilantro was about 60/40. I'll avoid this location in the future.
It would be so nice if they would put an appropriate and consistent amount of toppings on their tacos instead of skimping out. I order chorizo and egg breakfast tacos only to get very little chorizo. This happens EVERY time and I will no longer be coming to this location because of it.
Went here for lunch today and unfortunately it was very underwhelming compared to how this location used to be. The restaurant itself looks run down. The bathrooms were in rough shape. The sink had visible, permanent stains, and there was an electrical outlet installed directly underneath the soap dispenser, which doesn’t look like something that would ever pass inspection. When I approached the counter to order, I wasn’t greeted at all. The employee just stared at me and didn’t say a word. I had to initiate the interaction myself and place my order. She handed me my receipt and buzzer without a thank you or any acknowledgment. It was uncomfortable and unwelcoming. The gentleman who brought my food out was polite, which was a bright spot. I later noticed I was charged twice. I asked the bartender, Elizabeth, about it. After speaking with the manager, they told me one charge was pending and the duplicate should fall off in 24 to 48 hours. I kept my receipt, but there was no apology, just a very “that’s how it is” attitude. Overall, the energy felt off. Everyone seemed like they didn’t want to be there. As for the food, the fried avocado taco had brown avocado when I bit into it. The shrimp taco was just okay, and both flour tortillas were definitely stale. This place used to be fun and reliable, which makes this experience disappointing. I really hope they can get this location back to where it once was, because right now it honestly felt worse than a Taco Bell.
Stopped in for a few breakfast tacos and upon delivery I noticed hardly any chorizo on my egg bean and chorizo tacos. I tried to tell the person that delivered it to my table that there was not enough chorizo (like a tablespoon of chorizo) and she spoke zero English. So I went inside to let them know and instead of offering more chorizo I was told that’s how they come. I will avoid this location in the future.
Probably the worst breakfast tacos in the area. The steak was inedible. So cold, dry, and chewy.

I just opened my to go bag to discover there are no tacos. Just chips. The bartender was an airhead. I called the manager who said he was sorry. I'll never go back. Complete idiots.
Torchy's has hit bottom. chips with queso were stale. Waited over 30 minutes for tacos to arrive. Wrong sauce with the tacos. Margarita didn't even cover the ice in my glass. Tables were dirty. Man…
Was good but now has no flavor but a good story behind it Tryies it on a food tour not impressed at all
I know that sometimes service workers have an off day, but the girl at the front counter taking our order this evening (name on the receipt said Sydney) was straight up rude for no reason and she never really greeted us either. It is as if we were an inconvenience by waiting there politely. Other staff that brought us our food also seemed irritated and as if they didn't want to be here. The taste of the food and drinks are always great, but does that really matter if the staff treats you like you are worthless? Oh yeah, they also messed up part of our order. Time to find a new Torchys location to visit.
We come to the Austin (Cedar Park/Leander) area 1-2 times a year so we make sure those 1-2 times a year, Torchy’s is a must stop. Today was the first time I’ve seen the Whitestone/Cedar Park location not packed and wasn’t sure why until we walked in and began to order. While staff was friendly, our server was in basketball shorts and crocs and sorry, but for a popular restaurant like Torchy’s didn’t seem to fit the uniform/professional food setting. We ordered tacos that include brisket and the little amount of brisket we did get (about a pinch) was crunchy. The potatoes aren’t diced potatoes and fresh (nor did the egg seem to be) but was a hash brown the size of a quarter, broken up on the top. Hear me out, I ate my food because this is our only food stop for the next 5 hours and the last time I’ll have Torchy’s for a while. I used the bathroom before I left and well, this confirmed for me why the place isn’t packed. This may be one of maybe two bad reviews I’ve left in my life so I’m sorry to stack on complaint after complaint… just really disappointed. Hope things turn around for the better.
I actually can’t believe how bad the service and food were tonight. We kept having to get the bartender’s attention to order anything when we were the only people at the bar. For a couple hours. The bartender also sprayed a cleaner on a surface directly next to a customer’s food When we finally got to order food, it arrived cold. Both of our orders. Also the urinal was out of order and the toilet was filled with piss and didn’t flush. I don’t know what was going on tonight was it was abysmal. It also felt there was no manager on duty.
Food isn't bad but the service is absolutely horrible. Walked up to the counter where I was stared down by a young woman. No greeting. Just blank stare like it was my job to greet her, welcome her into the place of business, and offer her to place an order. I still wonder how long we would have just stared at each other had I not spoken first. This is not the first time we have experienced poor customer service at this location. No one seems happy to be there and they aren't shy in letting you know it. The tables were dirty. There is no place for the to-go customers to sit or stand that's not blocking in-house customers from tables, bar seats or easily moving through the space. They will sit at tables for 20+ minutes waiting on to go orders while others who are waiting to eat just stand there with no access to tables. It's a chaotic mess with no management intervention or oversight.

Cedar Park's Torchy's: Damn Good Tacos and a Happy Hour Worth the Trip
Alright, fellow food enthusiasts of Cedar Park, let's talk tacos. Specifically, let's talk about the Torchy's Tacos over here. Now, I know some folks might have been a "Torchy's denier" at some point, maybe thinking it's just another chain, but hear me out – this spot has some serious highlights that make it a local favorite for good reason.First off, the grub. The general consensus is that the tacos are, as one regular put it, "tasty as usual." But let’s get specific. If you’re like me and a...
Torchy's Tacos: Your Go-To for Damn Good Times in Cedar Park
Alright, y'all. Let's talk Torchy's Tacos in Cedar Park. If you're picturing some tiny, unassuming abuela-run taco trailer, this ain't it. And honestly, that's perfectly okay. What Torchy's brings to the table is something else entirely: a consistently delicious, fun, and utterly addictive experience that keeps folks like me coming back for more, taco after taco. It's not aiming for the most original or authentic taco in Texas, but it's absolutely one of the most beloved. My crew and I find ou
