This location is really excellent. The salsa bar is clean, has fresh ingredients, and they really do take care when making your order. They take the extra 10 seconds or so to put the tacos or burritos together without being sloppy. Store is clean, people are friendly

I grew up on Taco Bueno. Almost half the meals I ever had in my life have been from a Bueno. I stopped at store #3054 today for the first time. The fence was worn, and it reminded of the older Bueno in Owasso, OK. Immediately I was preparing myself for a bad experience. The last few years I have only had access to the Taco Bueno in Sherman, TX. and it has been disappointing to say the least. However, this Bueno was spotless. The salsa bar was full and looked ready for a photoshoot. The burritos were great. The tortillas were fresh. I kept going back for the original salsa because I haven't tasted salsa that good in a long time. It will become a regular stop as I travel I-35. Thank you store #3054 for giving me the Taco Bueno I remember.

A great fast food restaurant but they got my order wrong but most fast food places do get your order wrong all the time. I will be back though cuz their food is excellent but I will be checking my order and making sure it is right before I leave the window. I don't care how long it takes. It will probably piss my daughter off but I will not leave the drive-through window until I check my order period every single box. I spent over $30 there and not one order was right. But I do love their food! I just wish they'd learn how to work properly every fast food restaurant drive-through window. None of them ever get your orders right because they don't care! these fast food places just really don't care about their people they're taking their order for all they want to do is get you in and out that's it. That's why I don't order much take out. I'm very picky about where I go!

Don’t let the empty parking lot fool you. I went inside to dine. The bathroom was clean and the dining area was exceptionally clean. My food was delicious. I had my regular combo #1. The condiment area was very clean and well stocked, jalapeño peppers and hot sauce. I almost passed this place up.

This location is clean and well kept. The service is great, and the ladies are so cheerful not to mention the food is nice and hot and the condiment bar is kept fresh. This is the only location I'll come too even if it means going a little out of the way.

I've lived in the area my whole life and this has consistently been the best Bueno around. Always clean, food is always good. Keep it up ❤️

Best fast food chain tacos by a landslide. My extra favorite is the onion, cilantro and salsa bar. Staff is friendly and chill. If you think franchise taco franchises suck, its because you have never eaten here! It's so good , I look forward every time.

Taco Bueno has always been a favorite of mine. I've been going there since the early 80's. The food was good back then and still is today ! What can I say about an icon in the food industry , don't mess with perfection . The only thing I can say is, wish they were from Texas. ( not California ) Guess it dosen't matter too much since I've been eating there for the last 36 years ! And still loving it !

This restaurant has been here for more than 2 decades, and I think time has made it better. The staff are fast and the food was great. The cold bar has more than just salsa and pico. You will find two kinds of salsa, jalapeños, cilantro, dices onions and then the very large tray of pico that is fresh and crunchy. The price is even a pleasant surprise. Most items under ten dollars. Glad to find this place still open when I come through after so many years. Enjoy!

Taco Bueno is my favorite fast food restaurant! The tacos are delicious, the meat is always hot, the lettuce and tomatoes are always fresh, and don't even get me started about their beans! They are so good and warm if you are near Taco Bueno I suggest you go!

Cheesecake Chimis are the best, Muchaco's take 2nd with Party Taco's in 3rd. Don't forget to ask for Salsa. The rice and beans fresh is good. They tend to let it get old and dry and you'll get nasty platters a good 70% of the time👍. Almost worth the Gamble but chances are better as soon as they open obviously.

I dont dislike taco bueno, I just dont like it by itself. Missing some spice. Little more cumino, something. Food is clean and the place was too. Guy that helped us was really cool. Prices and coupons were good if you like to try a lot of things. Those that know, understand, its not wellas kitchen but you can work it.

This was my first time trying Taco Bueno, even though I’ve lived in DeSoto for two years and drive past this location almost daily. I stopped by around 10:30 PM; the dining room was closed, so I used the drive-through. The parking lot was large, well lit, and easy to navigate. The employees were extremely friendly, patient, and welcoming while I reviewed the menu. When I reached the window, I was greeted with smiles and laughter, which made for a great first impression and really stood out. Once I got home, the food itself looked much fresher than their competitor, The Bell, which initially raised my expectations. We ordered two meals: three soft tacos and the tamale combo platter with rice and beans, along with a regular queso and guacamole. Unfortunately, the food was overly salty and, at the same time, lacked balanced seasoning, which made it difficult to enjoy. This was disappointing because I was genuinely looking forward to finding a go-to option other than the usual alternative. Overall, the customer service was excellent, but the food quality did not meet expectations during this visit. I’d be open to giving it another try in the future, hoping for more consistency in flavor.

It is a chain Tex Mex spot, so if that's what you are in the mood for it will do the job. The service was good, polite and fast! The food was a Muchaco, a potato burrito(underrated as hell) and a bean burrito. $12 seemed a bit steep for what I got, but that's everything these days I suppose.

My go-to place for bean burritos. The Holada platter and the crunchy tacos always good. Pricing is reasonable, the restauran is always clean and well maintained, so there no complaints there.

The food is good for the price. Tuesday specials are $2.99 a platter and very filling. The atmosphere is generally quiet and service is fast. Employees are courteous.

Came in when no one was in lobby and they totally ignored us at the counter. Cashier barely spoke english. Cashier and mgr spoke spanish back and forth ignoring us trying to order. Just rude. Food was not great. Stingy on toppings.

The food was good but service was poor. It was theblunch crowd yet they had one person taking and filling counter orders as well as filling the drive through window as well. I will find abother Taco Bueno to visit.

Was driving through. Stopped for a burrito, chips and guac... They told me they were out. It's that a staple? I don't actually like the food. I think it has very little flavor. I am addicted to the salsa and firehouse salsa. 🤷

The following comments reflect my impression of the quality of food by the entire company, regardless of franchise. I used to live and breathe Taco Bueno. I did my best to avoid eating fast food, but Bueno would be the one exception. Now, I generally avoid eating at Bueno unless it is absolutely necessary and certainly would have done so today if I had not been craving the hell out of their crispy chicken tacos. I don't know what they have done to the recipe/formula/distributor of some of their staple ingredients, but they need to reflect seriously on this change of business. The queso, which used to be the highlight of their dishes, is now one of the worst items on the menu. Dear Bueno, I do not state this lightly. Queso should NEVER be sweet. (I seriously cannot believe I had to write that.) The queso here is just plain gross now. Due to this damned craving for crispy chicken tacos, I find myself at Bueno, the nearest/easiest place to find them over here (and no, Taco Bell is NOT an option, so don't even suggest it). "They can't possibly eff up chicken tacos," thought I. I swear it was like someone at corporate heard my thoughts and said "Hold my beer!" Why, why, why are they spicy, now??? It's not so much the spice that I dislike as it is the spice is accompanied by a lack of any other discernible seasoning. And dry. The chicken is so dry I could get more moisture from rubbing two saltines together. Yeah. Thanks for ruining that for me, Bueno. They seem to have maintained the sanctity of the beef taco and burrito recipes, so there is that. But it's not enough to entice me back. Now, to the restaurant: As stated previously, the ONLY reason this review is given 3 stars is because of the service at this place. Otherwise, it would be one (or worse, none). From the moment I walked through the door, the [new] cashier behaved with the utmost professionalism and congeniality. She may only have worked here for 2 days, but Natasha Taylor deserves both a promotion AND a raise! She was so warm, friendly, helpful, and hardworking. I dined in and had the opportunity to see her greet and help a number of customers, always friendly. And when she wasn't helping customers she was tidying up the restaurant, making the place look as presentable as possible. This woman is a true gem. Taco Bueno, get the quality of your food up to the quality of this employee and I might come back. Until then, I'm looking for a good place to get chicken tacos in DeSoto. If you know of any, hmu.

Then.... @3 PM, mind you, the chairs are still turned upside down on every table. If you dine in you have to lower your own chair. Do you know if a customer drops a heavy chair on their foot your TB will be sued? After she saw me lower.my chair and start tapping my phone she zoomed out to do her job and began lowering all the chairs from the tabletops. @3 PM. Leaving 4 stars for yummy taco burger & nachoitos.

The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. The cashier seemed to be a bit overwhelmed with taking the customers orders. She made a mistake on the two customers before me. When the customersun pointed out her mistakes, one ordered chicken nachos she rung up beef the other customer asked for no beans she gave them a double helping of beans, she became combative. I had to say my order is for here four different times. Also the man's bathroom was very dirty during my visit.

I liked it, but the wife didn't. I had the mucho platter, the two tacos were served separately, and wrapped in paper, then I ate the wife's beef mucho nachos, doctoring it up with queso ,salsa and cilantro helped but the chips weren't crisp.

Been here a couple of time. But on the last 2 times their were a group of young men hanging out there. The first time one of them made a gesture at me. Had loud music on, which management told them to turn off. They were going in and out the side door. They were finally asked to leave. The second time I was with my grandchildren. And the young men were there again hanging out. But this time for whatever reason ran out the front door playing and ran back in. When we went outside my grandson car had water thrown on it. My granddaughter asked they if they did it and said no. After that they took off. Contacted Taco Bueno office no reply. Didn't say anything to the management because they are allowing them to hang out there. Don't know if I will return.

I'm 5 months pregnant and just set down to eat.. My rice is hard.. Rock hard .. I found plastic in it. My hot sauce is sour... Omg this is the worst taco bueno I've ever eaten at. Horrible food

The food quality has gone down since the manager Rod left the store to work at corporate office. Last night I witnessed several health code violation and this is not the first time. I will only go during the day and week days from now on.

Freezing cold in there. Could not enjoy my meal. Just ate fast and left. Also, manager was resistant to honoring a coupon sold by the boy scouts. Not very impressed with this location.

Huge bathroom but no changing table :( All the available tables were dirty (and there were almost no customers, definitely not busy!) The only available trash can was over flowing & had trash piled on top where the trays are supposed to go.

Hours are forever changing. Always closed early. Tonight 10-30 they stopped taking orders before 9:30pm. Tild us they apologized but at the time they were not taking orders. By far the worst Bueno out here.

I stopped in for lunch to try the street tacos they have been promoting lately. The shrimp taco was drenched in the white sauce, the carne asada taco was bland and the carnitas were bland as well. I would not recommend them. Taco Bueno queso is consistently good and it was today as well. There were very few people there, it was fairly unorganized and had a bit of an unpleasant smell by the drink machine. The restaurant interior was dated, old and not inviting to sit and enjoy a meal. If it weren't for liking their queso I don't think I would ever go to Taco Bueno in their current shabby state. Unless they really change something I would guess Taco Bueno won't be around much longer.

I asked for meat cheese and beans only on the nachos and they still put onions on them. Then my child went to to the register to order him something different and they made him wait over 5 mins just to take his order. Smh. Was not impressed at all.

The Customer Service at this establishment is truly terrible. No hello, How can I help you. Even after purchasing the food. No thank you for coming. Ask for a drink nothing was given. Funny too no explanation of why either. It's ok to have bad days but not with your Customers. I'm not saying this to get someone fired. Just a kind word and a smile make your day as well as the customer. Repeat business is indeed the best business. A Positive Attitude truly goes a long way😁.

I was disappointed. Taco Bueno sent this advertisement to our home however when we went to our local Taco Bueno restaurant, they were unaware of their product. So we ordered Soft Chicken Tacos, however, when we got home and sat down to eat, they gave us Hard Shell Tacos (that was our fault. We usually check our food before leaving any restaurant). I drove back 4 miles to return the food. You think they would have refunded us for their mistake or gave us a voucher for a free meal but they didn't.

Service is always good, but today was very off. There was two small hairs in my chips, but this isn’t a usual occurrence, hence why I didn’t give one star. Other than this, they are fast and courteous & the food is always decent.

I just purchased the Carne Asade Street Taco. The regular price is $1.79 for one (1). Today they were on sale for buy one get one free. They were good, but not at all worth $1.79 for just 1. Too small for !1.79 for just 1. I feel like a barley got a deal at 2 for $1.79. Not a good deal at all.

Highly disappointed. Ive been coming for years, downloaded their app. Went today as they sent me an offer for their e club promotion. Wouldnt accept the offer, finally they did after going back and forth with them. They stated that just because you get an offer, doesnt mean they will accept it. I asked how are we supossed to know which ones, the mgr shrugged her shoulders.

Came here on my lunch break at 08:00pm and have been stuck in this drive thru for fifteen minute. Now. I have to drive off without my food because I only get thirty minute lunch. This can't be considered fast food!

Service suck & food was cold and wasn't it's best I had a taco salad and it was just thrown in the box. I know they have new hires but this is ridiculous.

At this location the managers demeanor was care less to be bothered by me, a customer. The food was not the delicious taco bueno I grew up enjoying. The taco had no flavor and neither did the burrito. I ate at a table but the manager kept staring at me through the window in his office. Also, I got the impression that The manager, who worked the front counter, didn't care to serve me. Could it be because I am African American? I also felt rushed to eat and I was the only person in the restaurant at the time.

Food WAS great. And mean WAS. Last 3 visits. Food got worse and worse. Very last visit. Messed up order. No biggy. The taste was horrible. Meat had no flavor but a old greasy taste. Lettuce taste was old a it had to of been sitting out for at least a day if not more. The taste I was horrible and hard to explain. Tomatoes were spoiled. For me food sucks. Don't recommend eating there food. But the soft drinks, if your thirsty, there okay.

This was probably the worse Taco Bueno I've ever been too. I've been eating Taco Bueno for years and love there food but not this location. I've eaten at this one several times hoping it was just one bad experience. Truth be told it was not. The refried beans are Pasty the bathrooms stink horribly. Just a fyi Taco Bueno its not the people on the outside that run a business down its the people on the inside.

Very disappointed with the service/wait for my food on tonight. Placed my order & waited for almost 20 minutes for a #3 combo with just meat/cheese only. 2 orders were called before my order was finally called & they ordered after I did. Several customers were complaining about the wait for their food. Definitely won't be going again, if I go at all.

If I could give this establishment a no star I would. There are several areas of concern. The employees are not trained. They must all need hearing aids. The street tacos I tried and liked. They were properly prepared. I bragged on them and went back to get some more. They were so overcooked and the shrimp was like little rocks. I took them back. They forgot to put anything on the taco. I called and was told to come back for the rest of the ingredients. I went back ...being hopeful I also ordered a Mexidip and chips thinking they can't possibly get this wrong. The beans looked like slop all over the chip and onto the plate, avacoda salad was just chucks of avacoda..nothing else. the rice was undercooked. This was by far the worst I have had anywhere. I am never planning on going back.

This is the third time ordering from them through the drive thru. Then getting home and finding my order not complete. They seem not getting the platters right. I've not gotten my chips several times and tonight the didn't put the gordita taco in it.

Pulling in I noticed there was one car sitting at the window in the drive thru. The min I make it to the speaker, the lady tells me one sec... Okay that's fine. A few minutes go by so i say hello and she tells me one sec again. Note it's raining and I'm supposed to sit here with the window down for 5mins waiting on my order to be taken.

Do not go here if you want to be serviced in a timely manner. We waited 10 minutes literally for someone to even acknowledge us. Then she was slow and didn't have any sense of urgency. If there were not so many cars behind me, I would have left. Then after all that waiting the food wasn't even fresh, ma'am it's 6am how the food not fresh?!!
