I ordered a pink drink and a turkey and egg white sandwich. It was good. The drink was made well and the sandwich wasn’t overheated and lopsided.
The store was nice and clean. Great atmosphere. Everyone was nice! Will definitely be coming back!!

I loved this Starbucks location. We live in Selden, but my husband works in Cutchogue. I stopped here for lunch on the way to Cutchogue. The people were very nice, and of course the coffee and the wraps were delish
Starbucks gets it right every time, offering the roasted red pepper egg white bites and a decaf Americano even this diabetic heart patient can enjoy! Always ask for a "Venti ice water" to take away a perfect complimentary beverage for your travels.
Went through the drive thru. Not much to say, it's Starbucks! Good drinks, uber expensive price. (You get what you pay for, it's a nice treat).

Great rating for great service. I'm a non-regular, out of towner, who came in two days in a row. The barista was so friendly, kind, and even remembered my name and order from the day before. I was impressed and it was a nice touch.
The drive thru was packed but it moved quickly. My flat white with soy was perfect! The pumpkin scones were super fresh and awesome! Service was fast and friendly as always :-)

Overall we do love starbucks. Alot of the time we go out drinks are 3/4 way full so we normally put in a complain to corporate if that is the case and they reimburse it back to my starbucks card on the app. Great customer service!
Personally for me it turned out to be the best Starbucks in New York area! Girls working there are just awesome, professional and friendly. I was very pleased with the customer service there. Would definitely go back!
Friendly staff. This staff have been here for years. The coffee always tastes best here, better than every other Starbucks on Long Island. Small, cute location, clean bathrooms, great food & awesome coffee, and it's just off of the Long Island Expressway, not far from shopping, food and several nice parks.
Riverhead Starbucks was amazing. The customer service was A+. The dining area was very clean. The food was good, the bathroom was clean, and the bathroom had soap and sanitizer, unlike most fast food places. Overall, I give Riverhead Starbucks a 10
Made a quick stop after visiting a near-by winery, and could use a good coffee for the ride back. The drive-thru was real busy so I just walked-in, instead. I typically order a robusto grande (sometimes with a mocha shot), but I was in the mood for a hot peppermint mocha blend, and even though it's out of season - they still made it for me & that's really cool of them! The restrooms are clean, good to know - right? Enjoy!
I'm not a Starbucks fan. When i go it's because other people want to go there or I'm getting coffee for someone else. But all the times i have been at the Riverhead branch, they have treated me with a smile and courteous respect and were very helpful in trying to interpret the lingo used to denote their unique coffee blends and language to describe different sizes. I'm a large with milk and sugar kind of guy, not a venti or grande guy. They deserve 5 stars for the quality of their employees
Currently waiting on my drink, the line is crazy today, but unknowing to me, it's RED CUP DAY! The staff is working so hard, encouraging each other, asking if they need anything, are extremely friendly to waiting patrons and balancing drive thru, walk in and app. Shout out to Moh who is running this show and making drinks like a machine. Great job Riverhead team!
Everyone was super friendly and my order was quickly made. There was a mistake with my order, but it was very minor. I ordered egg & bacon egg bites, kale & mushroom egg bites and roasted pepper & egg whites, egg bites. I ended up getting two bacon egg bites and one kale and mushroom. The staff would have easily exchanged them for me if it I had mentioned it, but I welcomed the change. Overall, from the location to the service and the dining area, this is one of my favorite Starbucks in the area
I came with a friend to get some coffee. Overall, this was an especially nice location, but it seemed like one of the staff members didn't seem too happy. She greeted us, was polite, and properly filled our order, but it seemed like something was on her mind. Our experience was great though, and the beverages we purchased were delicious. This Starbucks seems like an excellent place to study and get some work done.
Went to Starbucks last week because I was given a gift card. Went through the drive through, where there is always a long line when I drive by,but it was moving quick, mostly because the person taking the orders had great energy on a disnal day. Every business needs an employee like Demaro, exemplary customer service.
Came here a few weeks ago with my dog who loves pup cups. The staff at the drive through were so friendly and went above and beyond! Such a great experience and will be back!
I went through the drive thru to order a drink, two of the drinks I ordered they were out of (which is completely understandable, they seemed super busy) so I ended up ordering a decaf iced coffee and when I went to the window, the guy handed me a super large coffee and told me that he covered the cost and to have a nice day. It completely made my entire day, super sweet and thoughtful, I appreciated it so much. Super sweet staff, especially at the drive thru :)
Ana is the sweetest person here she is always so nice when I come in! she makes me feel happy to be there and spending all my money.. lol give this girl a raise because i don’t know how she stays so positive despite all these customers
I was in the area recently for work and visited this location a few times. On one occasion, I accidentally selected a different Starbucks location down the street. The workers at this store quickly fulfilled my order and were very friendly. Coffee was good too. Thank you!
So nice. It's a perfect study or fellowship hot spot. Amazing customer service. I ordered something once I ended up totally hating. They were completely understanding and swapped it for something I did like. That's great service. I am grateful to say the least. :)
I really like this Starbucks. I'm always greeted with a smile, and promptly. It's not the employees fault that poor planning went into the parking area, and "Drive Thru" design! If the line is long, I park, and go inside,. If I don't feel like going inside, I just don't have my coffee there. The "self-entitled" are BEYOND annoying these days. That's all.
I was double checking my order with an employee, as another location messed my drink up last time, and the employee apologized for my experience and gave me the drink on the house. Outstanding customer service, it made my day!!

I want to start off by saying that I had a very tumultuous start to the week. When I went to this Starbucks location, the barista, Reyhan, was very enthusiastic and immediately uplifted my mood. This star-fated encounter made my day significantly better, as well as the entirety of my week (and arguably, perchance, my life). Props to Reyhan for her omnipotent positivity, as well as props to the entire Starbucks cohort. I shall close this review with an additional regard towards the barista, Brendan. He was very kind and whimsical.
I walked into this Starbucks in the worst mood ever. The friendliness and respect the staff has towards there customers is second to none. I absolutely would recommend this Starbucks over any other Starbucks on the island. Might I add that they cleared out an entire line of customers in under 5 minutes and everybody left happy. And lastly, Liz is a diamond in the rough and an absolute assett to your company.
All workers are so happy here, it’s infectious! My day is brightened a little every time I come to this Starbucks
I want to take a moment to highlight Jacob, a barista who changed the course of my day during a recent visit to the drive-thru. He asked how I was doing, to which I replied, “I’m doing my best bro, l’m doing my best.” Jacob didn’t just move on, he recognized the discouragement in my voice and offered genuine words of encouragement that immediately adjusted my mood. He ended our conversation by saying he hoped my coffee would help make my day a little better—and it absolutely did. It may have been a quick interaction, but it reminded me why this Starbucks location is more than just a coffee shop. It’s the center of connection in our community. I’ve never had a bad interaction with the team here, and Jacob’s kindness was a beautiful example of the great work being done. Thank you, Jacob, and thank you to the entire team. I’m proud to consider this my central “coffee pick me up” spot.
So nice staff. They all greet people who come in with respect and care. They all like to treat everyone with genuine care and make sure not to make one specific person to be unheard or feel not respected. Even though I don't come often all the staff treat me with respect and always happy each time I do come.
The Riverhead Starbucks on Old Country Road is the most pleasant Starbucks I have ever been to. Everyone here is so kind and welcoming. It is a joy every time I walk through the door. Everyone remembers your name, and you feel like a friend when you’re here. Two outstanding shout outs are Emily and Brandon. Every time I walk in, I am greeted with smiles and genuine care. It is an absolute pleasure working with them. Every manager everywhere should aspire to be like Liz. As someone who has worked in multiple different retail jobs, I so deeply appreciate the way she manages. Aside from her knowledge of what she is doing, and not only is she well spoken, alert and present, and clear, but she treats her staff with kindness, patience, and understanding. She’s supportive and uplifting. She extends this further to her customers. Even when the store is busy and there is a line to the door, and around the store, she is paying attention. She’s knows exactly how long everyone has been waiting, exactly what everyone ordered, and addresses everyone in timely and professional manner. With grace, she makes every person in her store, employee and customer, feel seen and understood. I cannot recommend this location enough, and it’s all because of the rockstar crew working here.
Abby at bar today on a Saturday made my drink after I waited 30 mins, it was clear they were busy and my ticket may not have come in yet but she stopped for 30 seconds and made it for me when she checked my receipt! Even offered a larger size for the wait but I was fine with just having it and her being so friendly about it!
Been to this location a number of times recently and never encountered a nicer staff at any other Starbucks! I can't seem to stop this Steely Dan song from playing in my head since experiencing the warm friendly spirit that exists here. Like when you meet new people that feel like old friends/family. Nothing better!

Drive-thru provides easy access for the handicapped. Hostess at window so very pleasant and cordial. Usually some wait time but more than acceptable for warm blueberry scone(delicious, only 310 calories) and venti-latte pumkin spice, wonderful today! More money than other good coffee places, but as a treat, hard to beat ! 😘
I always enjoy Starbucks but only take out there because the seating is not relaxing or comfortable. I am greeted warmly with a smile when ordering.
Good drinks and friendly staff here. They are trying something new with the parking lot. Worst setup for the drive through ,but if your patient it works. If you're going inside park far away so you don't get blocked in by the line. Still a great stop.
Always a great coffee product and friendly service. I took one star away because the drive thru line is always very long. It may be faster to park your car and go in to order. You can always order with the app and do a pickup as well.
Love Starbucks, especially their holiday lattes! Some locations have a drive thru which is so convenient especially in the winter when you don't want to get out of your car because of the cold. They have yummy little snacks too. The workers are always friendly and they are usually quick. They can be pricy but good coffee is worth it.
It's a Starbucks with drive-through. Not the best, not the worst, average Starbucks quality. The one in Target down the road may be slightly better. 90% of the time, the employees here range from "efficient without being rude" to "wow you're really friendly... Mind turning off my lights while you're that far out the window?" (Yup, I've run into one person like that there) If you're not interested in going inside somewhere, or in a rush (when the line isn't around the building), go for it. It's definitely a Starbucks.

It has a drive thru which is a plus. Otherwise it's a normal Starbucks experience which isn't a bad thing. The rating would be closer to 4 than to 3 but giving it an outright 4 would be a little over the top
Always came here but today a bit disappointed the barista which looks like the manager . Gave us 2 hot venti drinks without the cup sleeves . Told us to get it ourselves . Bad customer experience but to her white hipster friends she did give it to them.
My daughter loves their drinks...I dont think it's worth a 45 minute wait on the drive through line..and it wasn't the 1st time having to wait that long
My coffee was good as usual, BUT the service was not as it used to be. The small talks between the employees seems to be more important then the customer.
SLOW DRIVE THREW... ridiculous how slow it is they need more people to work here. Frappuccinos are the best but other than the drink I would never come here. If only it wasn't the closest one to me. If you're like me and you like the drive-through forget it this will take you forever you wait for a half an hour at least.
This starbs location makes good drinks but I bought my Starbucks Christmas cup 2022 in so I can use it and they had told me they can’t put it in the machine… but whenever I go to other locations they have no problem and always make my drink in a separate cup THEN pour it in my cup.
while the location is convenient, & one of my FAVORITE barista's, (Amy) works there, it is something to be desired. While she knows her sh*!, I'm not sure how many others there do. My standard drink that I ALWAYS get was messed up yet again! A double-tall, whole-milk latte with no foam & 2 sugar-in-the-raw. Amy took the order, but the drink was made by another, & alas, it was a milky disappointment 🙁 only 1 shot was added, & with whole milk, the coffee can hardly be tasted. it was warm milk. The double shot makes ALL the difference! I was a barista in my self-owned cafe for 10 years, & I know my coffee. I order my drinks in a specific way for a specific reason... & I certainly PAY enough for them. Amy, love ya babe, but ya gotta get the rest of the team there up to speed.

Coffee was fine but this particular Starbucks will be out of something and replace it with something else without telling you until you pull up to the window to pay and expect you to pay for something you didn't want. Then tell you to go inside if you want to change it to something else. Much rather go to Hampton coffee.
Coffee was made well, service was a slow considering there were 4 associates and I was the only customer in the store (I'm aware of online orders needing to be made and taking that into consideration with the comment). It's cool that it's one of the Starbucks with a large table with wireless charging for sitting at if you want to do work or charge your phone. However, there are a lot of flies in the shop. Enough to be bothersome.
I am not the biggest starbucks fan, though I seen to drink a lot of their coffee. The americano I ordered was actually very good. I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe the best I have had from Starbucks. I gave this place three stars because it is grimy and over crowded. The parking lot is terrible, with cars in the drive through blocking the cars trying to get in and out of spaces. It gives the whole thing a mad max feel. Plus there were tons of "young adults", acting oh so charmingly. The service was also lacking. They were busy, I can forgive that, but the manager was very abrupt. Bordering on nasty. There is a local coffee house a few miles east. It had nice tables outside and the parking lot was blissfully peaceful. I should have stopped there. I prefer to support local places anyway.
Line is always too long, many times they do not have bakery goods or protein boxes available. Was recently told the drive thru line, which was overflowing into the next parking lot, would be quicker than waiting inside (where I was the only patron) I was told waiting inside would take at least 30 mins.
The over enthusiasm at the window drive through is beyond creepy and over the top. A simple high welcome to Starbucks what can I get for you is perfectly fine and respectful. “Hi welcome to Starbucks I’m so happy your here can I get you anything to eat? Your gorgeous drink will be ready for you when I see you at the window.” Then pull up to the window and creepy Liz is practically kneeling through the window into my wife’s car. Beyond creepy.
I've been to many Starbucks, and maybe they were having a bad morning, but they staff was rude. Doesn't take much, a pleasant good morning and a thank you is enough. They need to remember,they are not volunteers, they get paid to be there ,and we are paying for a service. It's not free!!
Can’t be bothered to make eye contact. Don’t say hello. May as well replace whoever’s taking orders with a Kiosk. It would be the same experience, only better.
Never have enough of anything. Half the day time you go to order it’s always I’m sorry we’re actually out of that. We don’t have this we don’t have that. Not really sure how such a busy store at this point doesn’t realize how much they need. And when I asked the girl when she gets shipments today her response was the night crew forgot to do things. Maybe time to figure out another solution because spending the money I do and dump it down the sink is just getting annoying at this point
The line is always long at this location. It might be worth it to drive over to the closest one in Rocky Point, where they are more organized and ensure customer service and wait times are timely. I waited over 20 minutes for my drinks and sat at the drive through window for over 5.
Have never had such a rude condiscedant barista at starbucks. They usually iron out scumbags in their hiring process. This Young overweight women dressed as Santa with red lipstick did not know the drink I was ordering from her menu, so proceeded to make herself look dumb asking me if I wanted cofee in my TEA? Just had such a sour very rude demeanor. I Was very polite and asked her if maybe a coworker knew the drink I was ordering. And she suddenly knew the drink. After waiting 2 minutes for my drink to come out she says "Have a great night!". Besides this idiot the store seems ok.
I dont order complicated drinks by any means. I do ask for frappuccinos without coffee for my kids and they always make mistakes and add coffee everytime. Which at first I am ok just fix it but then after amore than once it's annoying. I guess I'll just go to rocky point from now on.
Worst Starbucks ever! The manager needs to fire his employees who like to goof off as customers wait and then he needs to get fired himself for running this place into the ground. Do yourself a favor and drive by this place and pick up coffee at Panera, 7-11, McDonald's, or Dunkin Donuts instead.
After waiting 20 min trying to not be rude asking why my drink is taking so long I finally asked bec I ordered it on the app. Was finally told they moved the app orders to the other end of the store where you wait in line to order which you cant even get to bec the line was full of people And as always my #coffee was bitter . 😫

I'm a huge starbucks fan. I always go to Mattituck but when you come here to riverhead, the staff is friendly but there's not enough seating, lines are long and whenever i get a drink here it takes like 5 minutes to make because of the drive thru 😡 i would only come here if it's on a weekday. DON'T GO HERE ON WEEKENDS!! GO TO MATTITUCK!!! PLEASE!!!
I wish the place was better. I go there almost everyday. I work local and this is the only one near me that is open at 8am. The service is very iffy. Most of the time it takes super long to actually get your order weather you go inside or not. Some of the staff is nice and pleasent but most are just rude. My drink orders taste different almost every time I order it. They are out of stock on ALOT of things including napkins during my last visit there.. wish the tanger one was open at 8! That way I could stop coming here.
I just walked into the store and waited 8 mins at the cashier to order a cup of coffee. I was the only one on the line in the store.. Those 5 workers looked busy and didn't even look at me and didn't say anything like " I will help you. Give me a min." I kept waiting.. Another customer came in and stood behind me, then the worker asked her what she needs to have right away.... Was I invisible for them or they don't serve asian people or what?
Women was rude at night and said that they shouldn’t have served us as we where on line for 15 mins before closing. If you have that attitude about closing maybe you shouldn’t work that shift.
So consistently get our order wrong or screw up the SB drink. I don't go often, but wow guys. No foam on the label but all the foam, crunch frap with no crunch... Really simple things, not complicated orders
Placed a mobile order and my drink wasn't even made and I had came in about 10 mins after the said time it was supposed to be done. And was almost late to work because I had to wait for my drink to be made.
This is the WORST Starbucks I have ever experienced. I keep going back because it's convenient to my weekend job and hoping it will get better, but it hasn't. The staff looks out of sorts, like they are running amuck and there is a man who has have unkempt facial hair, not to mention "long hair" that is not tied back etc. I never receive a "thank you" after I make a purchase. Garbage cans are over flowing, napkin holders empty. ( I even informed them of the garbage overflowing and they didn't seem to care). Even the attendant at the drive through didn't greet me properly. it was like "what can I get for you", if even that. Then when I drove to the window and he took my payment, he had so much sugar or "white" stuff on his hands, you would of needed a hammer to crack it off. Sorry Starbucks, never going back to that location, "I'M DONE"!!!!

Obnoxious staff and can't follow simple requests. Don't heat up the croissant! It's easier for you! Just hand it over not heated! EVERY SINGLE TIME.
In multiple occasions they just don’t give me what I order at all. Today I went I bc for a frap and walked out with a hot coffee. If they don’t have a printed that they can read correctly then buy a new printer.
Been to this location several time using the drive- thru, the service is beyond slow . Today 9/29/16 i went inside the experience was slow one person of 4 making coffee for both the inside as well as the drive -thru. The others were more concerned with the phones and talking with each other. The store was dirty as was the restrooms. Where I come from retail is about customer service not the workers ,their phones or whatever else the personal lives involves.
Spent 30 minutes on the line, the employees were extremely unprofessional- didn't greet me, tell me the total, kept cursing at each other and spent a long time messing around, discussing things and procrastinating on orders. They were very slow with their tasks like they were high or something. When I finally drove away, I went to get my pastry and inside the pastry bag was my pastry in a plastic bag that was already open. There was no care or professionalism at all.
Terrible service by one of the worker. I’m sorry for the rest of the people who work there but this girl was extremely rude and careless. Remember you get paid because we spent our money on… Heavy weight white woman we don’t know your name but is a shame the way how you behave.
Went to get coffee at 5:20 pm to be told they are understaffed and that I had to get coffee from the drive through. Then went to drive through to get coffee only to be the 2nd car to order and they tell me "sorry we just closed". Very unprofessional, rude and the worst Starbucks I have ever been to.
I went to the drive up window yesterday with my daughter about 5 o’clock. We were on that line for 45 minutes. It was an absolutely ridiculous slow process to get one chai latte and they didn’t even make it right. I suggest you do more training to your staff
Just got my coffee…. There’s was a hair in it … I was sipping my latte a pulled a piece of hair out my mouth … little blonde piece of blonde hair annd of course are tender had blonde hair it was an in store order. 9/19/24 I decided to go again an honestly Starbucks riverhead definitely lost me after the barista was rude an trying tell me what I ordered was wrong meanwhile on the screen was right I’m over it an the coffee was still nasty just like her attitude
Unpleased with me recent visit to this location. Drive thru line was super long. Inside they had one employee doing online orders and walk-in orders. I had waited 30 minutes for a salted caramel frappe. My name was called out and I was handed a hot drink. They remade what had originally ordered. Then they had one person heating items and she was taking longer then the girl making drinks. They obviously need to increase their staff members so customers can be in and out. Their were several costumers in the waiting area complains about how long they had to wait. Definitely not a place you stop for coffee when your in a rush.
Very slow service. They filled the coffee to the very top. Couldn't add any milk or sugar so i had to pour some out.
It seems no matter when I come to the Riverhead stand alone location, my frappes never taste like the flavor I ordered even though I usually get at least 1 extra pump of that flavor sauce and reduce the amount of coffee pumps, all I taste is either coffee or no flavor at all. I never have this issue at the Riverhead Target location or the Mattituck location!! I've given this location numerous tries but I'm done.
ordered a white mocha and there was dark chocolate in my drink, not what i was wanting.
I will never get Starbucks at this location again. Every time pick up coffee it’s awful. I suggest they take some of the barristers from the Mattituck location to teach them how to make coffee!!!
The employees can’t read their own system on the drink tickets. They gave me a frappe when I ordered a chocolate cream cold brew. I sent one of my coworkers to get it because I’m too busy and didn’t have the time, so when I had to interrupt my day to go back to the Starbucks and I was met with an unapologetic staff, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Or maybe that was my still wrong coffee - there’s like no chocolate in this drink. I hope corporate does something after my call later, and I won’t update my review until I can see improvement in all the areas mentioned above.
On the morning of 1/16/25, I stopped at Starbucks before work. A young female by the name of Abby happened to be working the drive thru window. While taking my order, every other word was “What?” Instead of, “I’m sorry could you repeat that?” Assuming she couldn’t hear me too well I asked her to repeat the order to make sure it was correct since the screen didn’t work. Once at the window, upon receiving my order I informed her that it was incorrect. Here comes that “What?” again. It was then she became rude. Slammed the window once I asked her to correct it. Some retraining in customer service would be beneficial to her. Maybe a course on the way you are supposed to speak to people with respect. Her tone is condescending. It isn’t WHAT you say but HOW you say it. Her body language was also very passive aggressive. As a customer her actions weren’t warranted nor did I appreciate it. Little girl is going to catch someone having a bad day and quickly receive a reality check.
I waited 25 minutes for a mobile order and they literally had it behind the counter the whole time. This starbucks is always either hit or miss. and maybe acknowledge customers when they walk in the store.
Got my order wrong. It’s too often that this Starbucks gets my order wrong. My husband ordered a Java chip frappe and they gave him a caramel one…. I just ordered this latte and I went to open it and this is how full my 6 dollar drink is … this happens way too often as well. Do better.
