I frequent this establishment one or twice a week and I have to say that the service from Isaiah is spectacular. Very personable and professional! I normally only go to Applebees at night for half off apps. My order was quickly made. Food tasted great. The atmosphere was very peaceful and our waitress, Hannah, was very friendly and attentive. I had also accidentally dropped my drink after being served and she was quick to clean and replace my drink. Would recommend and will definitely be coming back .

We had dinner at Applebee’s last week, after having nit been there for some time. And I have to say, we were not disappointed. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was splendid. Out server was a joy and the food was excellent, and at a very affordable price. Would definitely recommend!

The only problem we had was that we had found a small unknown particle in a dessert but the staff quickly fixed it and gave us a new one and comped us the dessert. Service was very good

I haven't eaten here in awhile. Went Friday for early dinner. My friend and I decided to have 2 dinners for 25.00. Never expected to have a appetizer for 2 a huge portion. Then we each had a 8oz. Sirloin Steak, thick piece of meat, juicy and cooked to perfection. Delicious mashed potatoes, and strings with garlic and oil. What a meat all served piping hot. Definitely be back.

I liked this restaurant, it is relaxed and perfect for relaxing, their pork ribs in a somewhat spicy sauce were really delicious, the fries were crispy and soft inside, and the classic combo was delicious, the presentation was very nice, as for the attention Both the hostess and the waitress were very kind, congratulations. We have been here multiple times on various occasions and the staff is always very friendly. Food is very good for the most part. Only negative I have to say is that meat isn't always cooked to my liking. I specifically request to have medium well 'little to no pink', and it comes out more rare than I'd like. But it's always simple enough to have them heat it up more. Overall, would definitely recommend the Commack Applebee's.

Restaurant was practically empty with limited staff playing multiple roles. Staff were friendly and attentive Food is the same, maybe a little bit better due to more time for care and attention by the kitchen staff as they are not rushed with crowds. Prices are slightly higher but still a bargin with the 2 for $ options. Come and support the folks who still need to work and make a living!

Yes, that Applebee’s… I know that fast casual dining gets a bad rap, but the food is American fare and it’s not bad at all. I asked for my steak medium rare, & I can tell you that I’ve been to many places that don’t get it right, but they did here. An 8-ounce sirloin with 2 sides will set you back $18, which is a pretty good deal. Burgers & appetizers are really good too. I’d eat here again.

I had stopped dining here for around 9 months because of substandard food and filthy appearance of the place. .well a buddy wanted to go, so I relented and I'm glad I did! I've been 3 times in the last month and each time, the food has been great, especially the burger and nachos! The only real negative is the lousy upkeep of the restroom; other than that, the place has much improved!

Our waitress was friendly, but busy. The tables were about 3/4 full and maybe they were a bit shorthanded. It was a bit frustrating getting her attention. It was a bit of a wait between appetizers and dinner, which is of course understandable these days. What was not understandable is why some of our food arrived cold. I would give them another shot, but if it's a repeat of this dinner, there are other similar chain restaurants we can visit.

Been here before a few times. The food was good. Just got a chicken quesadilla. The waitress, I forgot her name but she was so nice and polite. She treated my son like a teenager. Asking him what he wanted to eat and drink..which was fine with us. First time he ordered his own food.

Food was good, but I hate having to open a bunch of ketchup packets for a burger and fries. But all things considered that is a small price to pay for being able to sit in a restaurant. The servers were wearing masks, and occupied tables were spread out.

The location is semi-convenient and the service is good. I only gave this place 3 stars because I believe 5 stars are elite, 4 stars are close to elite, and 3 stars are pretty much what everyone gets if they are a good, wholesome, family establishment. Sorry, I felt the need to explain myself because I think each person uses the rating system differently, mine must be explained lol.

Food was good. Very nice waiter. One issue. My 83 year old mother got the Samon with a delicious maple glaze on the side. She couldn't finish the meal and when she asked for more of the glaze to bring home with the left over the waiter brought her a small container half full and told us if he gave her more he would have to charge her. The amount was fine but I think it very bad business to tell someone that! I dont blame the waiter I'm sure he was told that, but what the heck! We spent around $40 with a nice tip for LUNCH. You couldn't just give the customer the gkaze?

Food was great as usual Applebee's doesn't disappoint but our server John was not good at all. My party still decided to give a $25 tip for a $138 bill because we hope that tips are shared. Everyone else was excellent. We were greeted and seated by two amazing workers and the people who served our food and picked up our dishes were great as well but John the waiter sucked.

The waitress wasn't very friendly and it took 20 minutes for my friend to get her card back after paying. My other friend who has dietary restrictions also needed to know if there was butter or dairy in the food she wanted to order. It is good that you can find what are the ingredients in the dish you want to order on the website, but the waitress didn't bother to ask us if we needed assistance in navigating the website. I didn't know about this site until today, so I was not familiar with it. When my friend asked about the ingredients in the dish, the waitress told us to go to the site and disappeared right away. Not very helpful.

Not as many selections as Farmingdale's location I mean it got bad to the point we just left and went to Farmingdale Applebees. drinks are stronger in Farmingdale too so win win

Sitting down was fine but once seated we didn't have a waiter. When we called anyone over they just said someone else will take care of us. Nobody came for a while. Finally after 20min someone became our waiter. My partner got her dish but i had to wait 15min for my meal. I don't know if they forgot about me or if something happened and they had to start over. I finally get my meal and it was good. They gave me my dinner complimentary so I wasn't mad with them at the end. They did what they could to make me happy. The only thing is that throughout the meal, no one even checked up on us. I wanted to get another drink and water but no one even acknowledged us. Turns out our waiter also left. We managed to waive another Waiter down to us and i just asked for the check. TL;DR, Food was good, service was terrible, but they tried to make it up to me.

Fries aren't even fried, asked for them crispy and they were soft and tasted like cardboard.

The food was okay but the delivery was terrible. I ordered a dessert that had ice cream and melted chocolate which was placed on its side. When I took it out of the bag I discovered it had leaked everywhere and got all over the rest of the contents in the bag. When I opened the container, chocolate sauce spilled all over my shirt. I also specifically asked for no sour cream on the nachos because I am lactose intolerant and they put it on them anyway. Will not be ordering from here again.

Absolutely horrific service. Took 30 minutes for someone to take our drink order. The resteraunt was almost empty. The bartender ended up taking our order. He went to tell the manager and we saw her shrugged her shoulders. She never come over to talk to us either. The bartender then came and took our food order. Then took half our for our food to come out. We order mozz sticks and wings. We had to go to the bar to refill our drinks. For 50 minutes noone came to our table. We paid on the tablet on the table. Horrific service and clearly the manager didnt care either. Special thank you to the bartender who helped us.

It's sad, but this place has gone downhill. The service is just not good, and where we sat smelled strongly of moldy dish towel. They forgot my meal but still served others at the table, which made their meals cold by the time I got mine.

I came in here with a group of friends, like we do almost every night after work. We kindly asked DINORA for a booth, like we always get. She rudely told me she didn’t have a booth available, while all the booths seemed available. i then proceeded to ask her to please try to get us a booth. She then rudely replied that the section was closed for the night. We were going to leave but we stayed since Apple bees after work has become like a ritual to us. As we waited for our food another group of people walked in and DINORA automatically took them to a booth, without asking any questions. Her treatment was very unprofessional, i have never been denied a booth at any Apple bees since that’s part of the reason we go to Apple bees. The food was good the drinks were good and our sever/bartender was nice. We left him a good tip because it wasn’t his fault Dinoro the Hispanic lady was rude to us.

I went in last night .Half off appetizers. Lady said 5 minutes. Waited 10 minutes and she is directing all these poeple who came in after us to theiir tables, I ask what the hell, she says 15 minutes and acts like she never saw me in her entire life. Wht the hell people. Also the chicken tenders are tiny and they used to be bigger, what the hell!

not even gonna lie im a picky eater so this may be on me but i get chicken tenders whenever i go anywhere. applebees was always one of my favorite spots in commack for chicken tenders because they were delicious, but after going every single week, i am disappointed every time. was a crazy experience when one of my tenders was not even 2 inches long. now most are 3 inches or shorter. unfortunately dont think ill be going back here much anymore. shame because i spent so many nights and made a lot of great memories!

The service was great HOWEVER... I ordered a steak/shrimp parmigiana which is good BUT I noticed they Applebees I don't know if it's just this location, the serving size is much smaller than it used it be! I ordered side of Fries and mash potatoes and they only gave a couple Fries. The serving tray is twice a smaller and on top of that the they are stingy on the sides! Applebees needs to do better !!!! Stop being stingy

The whole time at my table I smelled mildew and mold. I could barely eat my food. I looked down as we were leaving and the floor was water damaged with mold growing. It's literally a health hazard. Why wouldn't they close off this area and treat it immediately?

By the way, this was an adult meal. Overall, will not be returning. Server Taylor seemed to be trying to the best of his ability but the pressure got the better of him.

I ordered a to go order. I got the 2 for 30. I got a bacon cheeseburger that had a Grey hair right on the burger. I got the pasta Alfredo, the noodles grossly overcooked, no sauce it was horrible...I love Applebee's but I won't be back to this one

Applebee’s… you need to do better. Tomato sauce crusted, in my bowl with my salad is unacceptable. Clearly, the plate was not thoroughly cleaned before filling it with my salad. I didn’t make a big deal and ordered another salad but I felt disgusted. By the way, our server Jessica was wonderful. It was not her fault. We will not be returning for a very long time.

The service was hurting. Worst cole slaw. I asked for some with my burger and they charged me, Tasted like cut up cabbage without dressing. $3.50 for a cup of coffee, I didn't dare ask for a refill, couldn't find the waitress anyway. I had to ask for salt pepper and sugar. We had to squeeze the last drop out of the ketchup bottle. Waitress just disappeared. I had to find somebody to pay my bill.

Since we get there, the hostess told us there were 15 mins for the wait to get a table. Inside there were not people at all and there were like 6 tables available. Then when they give us the table, we order and then the waitress basically throw us the plates, then they didn't give us the silverware, we had to ask the bartender because the waitress never showed up until we left. Besides they didn't ask if we need something. The food was good but the service were terrible.

Worst experience ever in the past 10 years Ashley the server was very unprofessional from the first moment to the last moment. From every aspect it was horrible. Drinks came after 80 minutes from order after some of the main courses already served. Drinks, forks, food and everything come to one side of the table of 17 and you as a customer supposed to start handing over things from one person to another till the order reaches the right person. After argument with server and manager they finally light the candles for the birthday. Regret being in this place.

Went there on 12/5/23 waited 10 minutes waitresses passing by no acknowledgment, bar attendant saw us didn’t call anyone. The place was empty, I understand when it’s busy but it was empty. We left after a long wait. We use to love this place.

Saturday night was the 2nd time I visited this location. The waitress was terrible! The food came 5 minutes after we got our appetizers, and it was wrong, we had to send it back. Took 20 minutes to get drinks, we never got sugar for coffee, or ketchup for our burgers. While we were eating, a guy came by and asked iif we needed conrainers to take the food home!!!!!! Guess they wanted us to leave???? The check took even longer to get! DONT GO HERE!

I walked into this Applebees on Tuesday June 6 2023. There was no host to seat us so I requested to be seated from the bartender. She told me to wait and she would come shortly. I did just that. Several minutes later an elderly couple comes in and she seats them promptly. She did not come back and offer us a seat. I put my guest in the car and go back to ask why we were not offered a seat. The bartender stated “she did not see me” I was baffled because I am pretty impossible to miss. Feel free to speculate as to the color of my skin. Applebees will no longer receive the power of my dollar.

Extremely rude people and food tasted like it’s old and rotted. I told someone about this no really cared. I paid for a meal the I didn’t even touch and it’s rotted. I wish service and food was better.

We came for dinner at this location and the hosts were no where to be found. One finally came by looked confused and walked away again. When he returned and we told him how many we had and he disappeared again for a few minutes. Once seated we waited 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order when no one came we got up and left.

It's Tuesday 7:12pm, I came to sit a the bar. The bartender is the slowest one I've ever seen. I have sat here for 17 minutes, watching her clean tables, take orders of 2 large tables & texting on her phone. There is not an ounce of work ethic here or productivity. I would be livid if I had this person working my bar. I am a bartender myself & I cannot believe how long it took her to even acknowledge me or offer me a drink & menu. This is the commack location so don't come here unless ur ready to sit there for a while.

I've never been so upset at an Applebee's before! Family of four trying to celebrate our daughters basketball season and we cannot even get a table. The place is empty, no host in sight for over 5 minutes. One server comes over to the couple that was waiting for about 10 minutes. He takes them to a table, takes their order. He comes back and tells me that it will be 5-10 minutes before anyone will come over to us!! Are you kidding me??? There with an empty restaurant around 915pm and you can't seat a table with a 2 year old for over 15 minutes when the restaurant is almost empty???!!!! Unbelievable!!!!! As a business owner, this is pathetic service.

I stopped in around 4:30 on a Friday afternoon, on my way to a 7PM event in Nassau. The place was empty. There were maybe 5 occupied tables (all of which were eating) and nobody at the bar. Despite this, it took close to an hour to get a burger. It also took over 20 minutes to get the check. I didn't get out of there until past 6:00 and was almost late for my event.

Food was okay drinks were great but service could have been better…. in other words it was terrible. 1)Rude behavior by our server Karla who at first seemed like a sweet young lady but she didn’t take the effort to notice us was mostly in the bar she could of done better but she didn’t didn’t even payed mind to us. 2) Once she saw we were getting frustrated because we were waving at her for help she gave me and my partner a dirty look. Of course no tip for her …. honey you should have payed more attention to your customer. 2)Tips are earned. I don’t know how people like that can work in a customer service environment. She should be fired and I will make sure of it. Applebees you have lost a customer.

Me and some friends went there for half apps last night and the service was just beyond very poor. We felt that our waiter who was also serving at the bar was not doing his job being a waiter. He basically never checked up on us and whenever we tried to get his attention he would just ignore us and just do his own thing. Honestly the service back then was pretty well but last night was just unacceptable. I understand if they’re shorthanded but that’s not a good enough excuse. My friends and I are never coming back to this one again. I highly recommend to all, do not go to this Applebees.

What happened to Applebee's? It was once a reliable casual restaurant for family dinners and enjoyable meals. Tonight our experience was just beyond horrible. Our waiter Kevin, missed half of our order, two of the meals never came, when we asked he didn't know what we were talking about. He asked us to remind him again what we ordered clearly showing that the orders weren't even placed to begin with. The apps that came first were all cold. We asked to talk to the manager. The manager showed up with literally no resistance or push back and said he'll just cancel everything and we can leave. For our family this kind of response was unprecedented. We weren't expecting the manager to not want to make things right. Instead he simply offered to just cancel the two missing meals and let us just walk out. Sadly that's what we did and ended up at another restaurant nearby. I would like for Applebee's management to take a closer look at the quality of service at their restaurants. Such careless and apathetic response to customers issues should not be taken lightly.

Just take a look at this brownie, it looks like half of it was left in the kitchen, it does not have the chef's touch but the chef's bite. Two plates for a whole half half half piece of brownie. Amazing staff members and scenery. But food? Next.

1. Literally, I bit and spitted out a ladybug off my salad! This will definitely be my nightmare tonight. 2. Everyone other than the waiter and host was pretty rude. The waiter was pretty nice and energetic but couldn’t pay much attention to our table because he was busy taking care of the bar at the same time. Had to wait about 15-20 minutes to order and that salad is what I got. (Disclaimer: they gave a $4.16 discount as an apology but not nearly enough) First time, I left a bad tip in my life (despite my parents rightfully telling me not to leave any). Never going back there.
