10/10 customer service. 10/10 food choices. 10/10 prices. 10/10 taste. Incredibly nice staff and owner. Very mom and pop with great food. Cannot recommend enough. The best hangout joint.
Snap-E-Taco has thee best Chile Relleno burritos around. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Real quick service too. I always return here.
Awesome food. Taco burger is highly recommended. Great prices. French fries are always perfect. No indoor seating but they do offer outdoor covered seating. Staff is very friendly
Great food, good prices. I have been going there for about 45 years and the food taste is still original, they added more food to the menu but it's still authentic. I recommend this place to everyone.
I love this wonderful establishment the food is totally worth the drive from Rancho. I've been coming here for a long time and as long as I'm in California I'll be visiting this place. I was sad when they sold it many years ago but so happy they are still around and serving the same food. Thank you for always being consistent with the quality and taste! I hope you stay open for many years to come. Thank you for the great food!
Grew up eating their one a kind bean and cheese burritos and snappy tacos. Hot sauce is simple and authentic. They also serve a pretty tasty chili-cheese dog. Can't pass this place up when hungry for comfort Mexican food.
Used to come here at lunch time in high school 50 years ago Prices are going up a little bit haha but still great food a nice service Ignore the taco truck down the street and come here much better food A classic. an institution of great food valves. Like In-N-Out It's worth a couple pennies more
Prices have gone up but same great food as I had as a kid. Such a fond memory to have when I visit. A must stop for good food! The fresh guac is a must!
Food is great. If you are missing the Snap e tacos that closed a couple of years ago on Amar, this one has pretty much the same classic menu plus a lot of new items
Crunchy tacos enchiritos and supreme burritos! This place is the best!
Veggie burrito is DELICIOUS. Bean burritos are yummy as well. My family loved everything we ordered. Great food and great prices.
Delicious burrito combo#1 was good I enjoyed it, like old school tacos from the eighties like the bell place. Can't wait to try their burrito supreme I asked the lady how it was made it she said with meat, beans, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream and cheese mmm can't wait to go back.
If you know-then you know, this place has been around forever, different owners, some add more to the menu but their tacos, burritos, chili fries and red sauce remains unchanged and that's a good thing.
What surprised me the most is that the fact that snappy taco has been here for a long time. Despite its appearance, the food is really good. Sometimes, it's a little bit oily, but overall, it's great
My first time at this place was when I was in High school in 1979 (Northview HS. (I'm pretty sure it's the same resteraunt) I would be late going back from lunch almost every time and didn't care one bit. I need to make a treck back to partake again. Best beef & bean burrinto on the planet, (from what I remember)
I absolutely love this place they're grande bean and cheese burritos are the best with pico de gallo and there salsa verde on the side, great service also, I don't live near there anymore but I still make a 12 mile one-way trip there once a week to get there grande bean & cheese burritos. Great Place .....10 Stars!!!!
I loved it so much!!! I recently took my wife back to her hometown in La Puente, and we stopped at Snap E Taco in nearby Covina. The food was excellent — flavorful, fresh, and made with care. The portions were generous, and everything tasted just like authentic home-style Mexican food should. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere had that classic local charm that makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why small, family-run spots often beat the big chains. If you’re in town and craving Mexican food, Snap E Taco is definitely worth the stop. We’ll be back next time we’re in town!

Love the food , i had a chorizo burrito it was delicious.
I've been going to Snap-E-Taco for 32 years. It is an institution. Love that red sauce! -Update- Snap-E-Taco is currently going through a glow up. New sign, new seats, same great food! It's great to see! Get out and support this institution.
We stopped to try their shredded beef tacos and they did not disappoint! Super good, fresh and delicious! Totally recommend this place.
The food is really good they have a tex mex style menu and papusas really friendly and fresh food
I've been eating at Snap-Es for decades. It is nothing more than walk-up fast food, but I love it. It is a favorite of mine, and I have wonderful family memories eating at the tables out front. The employees are kind, the prices are unbeatable, and the food is tasty. I am so happy this location is still open.
Excellent beef tacos. Awesome al pastor tacos. Love their enchiladas. Been going here for at least 45 years. I have to take a break cause I moved out of town but I am back again and it is better than ever and I can't stop eating the beef tacos. I have to try new things but I just can't stop eating the beef tacos. So thank you for sticking around for many years.
There is only outdoor seating. It was too cold outside to eat outdoors. So, I took it to go. But the food was delicious! The service was decent. As for , ..atmosphere, it depends on the weather.

It's a low key taco spot. But they offer so much more. If you're looking for a quick bite that hits the spot and satisfies your craving...try this.
Some unique items and specials, I enjoyed their taco burgers. Deals like 3 for set price. Tiny place with a few tables outside .
Food is still good. Been coming here since I was a kid. Got the bean and beef burrito with cheese. Decent size still. Give it a try.
Hole in the wall type place, which means it's not fancy, but the food is great!
Can’t believe this place is still here…this was our go to place when we lived here 30 years ago, still great food….great tacos and burritos specials

This place was pretty good the service was great. The pupusas not too good. But the tacos very delicious.
It's outside seating so for me it was good. Not the greatest view of things but they decorated to make it cozy and cute.
I love this place. Do not go out of your way to eat here, but if you're in the neighborhood, stop by. Take away and (marginal) patio seating. Large menu. Reasonable prices. Easy access to parking. Reasonable amount of parking.

So I pull up with my partner (emts) and their atm machine was down and a sweet lady that was waiting for her order asked to pay for my food. Sadly I didn't have cash so I agreed, asada burrito was 2 stars. I have to give a 3 star review because of the kind lady. God bless her!
I come here very often because I enjoy the food alot. I really try to give this place it's good merits but the one thing that ruins it for me is when they say the restaurant opens at 10am and I'd say 8/10 times I come here at 10 and they don't open till 11 despite saying they open at 10am. I've come here multiple times so I know that they do open at 10 no matter what the day but sometimes they just don't open up till 11am. The food is also Abit expensive ever since they raised their prices and that's what really prevents me from giving this place 4 1/2 - 5 stars
Snap E's USED to be a spot where I could get Mexican food slightly above Taco bell quality at a decent price......Not an more!!! The portions are smaller, quality is same to less..& the prices have gotten to be ridiculous....
Ugh! Didn't eat the Taco Meat Lol! It is refried from a week ago. How they have an "A" is impossible. The outside is filthy, can't see from all the signs, don't think you would really want the people that run it to prepare the food. Appear poor, wearing dirty clothes don't use gloves, just nasty. And now expensive for what you get! Not like the 70's or 80's like when Harry owned it peeps!
Where should i start i ate there lunch then my friend wanted to get a coffee on the place next door we parked over there and after two minutes 4 violant toeing car workers of a company named premiere toe and recovery came so fast and toed my car after talking with the owners of the other restaurant i understand that this taco place has some type of a deal with the owners of the towing company and they get precentages for providing them cars to toe away
We were very disappointed. I ordered a taco and the meat did not look like ground beef or shredded meat. I have no idea what I ate. My boyfriend had taquitos and that meat was some kind of paste. It was not meat at all. And he got sick from it. We will never eat there again.
Really Rude, they have really bad customer service they don’t care about their customers they only want to make money. They are connected with the towing company that you’re afraid you’re going to get towed just by eating here!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
I ate this place today nasty i ordered chilli cheese fries the fries where all raw it use to be good it went down alot ...lasttime i went they forgot to put cheese on my chilli fries ..i just got home and threw up those fries nasty stay away from this place ...i will never return ill just keep my money .....
Food is terrible and service was even worse, employees are rude and it’s no wonder why their rating sucks. If I could give a negative review, I would cause this place is NOT IT!!! Do not waste your time or money here folks!!!
This place sucks! Do not go here. Employees have an attitude and have no customer service skills. Food is not good either. Albert’s tacos are way better. Their logo is a Mexican stereotype which should be taken down immediately.
I paid $13.99 plus tax for this. Like$15. Expected to be full but as you see in the oic they cant even fill the container

I been live down the street from here for years use to go here a lot but it's changed so much way to over price the old owners made the food good
I've been going here since the '70s, unfortunately the prices are extremely high. A bean and cheese burrito is $8 it's extremely small I paid an additional dollar for extra cheese I got a burrito so tiny virtually without any cheese at all. I get it prices have increased everything's more money but $8 for a tiny little burrito there's too many other places you can go to get a much better value and better quality and taste. Even del Taco is twice the size and 80% less cost.
I grew up going to this one, and the one that used to be on amar can't believe there are three items is now, ten bucks, and I got three bean and cheese burritos that used to be the go to back in the day.Got them to go put them in my backpack. No pressure against them.By the time I got home thirty minutes later that should have spilled all out of the burritos like it was soup.I don't know what these people have done. But don't waste your money, this ain't the snappies. You used to know overpriced garbage
My team was finishing up work in the 7-11. I was going to take them here for lunch. The 30 minutes I was inside the store getting their order was all it took for them to call the tow truck company. We ended up taking our business else where. Will never spend a dollar at this establishment.
Coming here for 10 plus years. The lack of care from the employees shows as of lately. Cook was on his phone, didn’t follow hand wash protocol, before touching food. I saw the cashier wrap my tacos and failed to wash her hands. Food was thrown away out of disgust.
I’m not sure if their business is running okay. It is weird that they tried to make profit by work with towing company. We went to SAGE and planned to bring tacos back for friends but got towed before we can get any food from any of these 2 places. When we buying the house, the realtor told us Covina is not a good neighborhood and I see the reason now.
