Donuts was soft and fresh not so sweet we enjoy them

WONDERFUL service and community builder... came here with my son and saw how the owner was cheering up a young patron feeling down and had 3 other customers who he's befriended. Genuine care and attention to each customer... When it was our turn, the owner gave my son a free Sprinkle donut before we even ordered. Then I asked him if there were any more sprinkles (none were displayed) and he disclosed that he has to make it special but that is no problem if that's what I'd like. They've been here since 1988! We'll definitely come back.

We stopped by on a Sunday evening and the person who helped us tossed in a few extra donuts for free! He was very nice and friendly, and the donuts were good. My partner really liked the blueberry donut. We’ll be back!

If you like mom-and-pop donut shops, this is the place to go. I've been going here since I was a kid and they are still so good. Same owners too. Very nice people, clean, and yummy. What else can you ask for?

Super friendly staff, and amazing tasting donuts! We bought a dozen and every flavor we got was perfect. They have awesome hours for a Donut shop too, all the other donut shops in fairfield close around 5 which is when we get off work but this one is open late and we were super happy to be able to get fresh donuts for our family at that time. Thanks!

I believe in supporting small family owned businesses. Their donuts are very good tasting. They taste better than Raley's Stores. Customer service is pretty good. The donut holes I will pass up because they didn't taste fresh.

Great family run business, the owners couldn’t be more welcoming. Always offer something to try and get donuts fresh out of the oven even when they have them ready in the window. They ALWAYS go that little bit extra to let you know they appreciate you coming in.

Great donuts - not under cooked nor over cooked. Prices reasonable ( cash or debit card). Some of my favorite are: holes, buttermilk ( maple and chocolate), apple fritters, cinnamon swirls, crescent rolls, and day old goodies ( if you inquire) from the back at a great discount. They're open to 8pm. Friendly staff, always have a smile and a hello. Since I am a regular, they always have my favorite in the back when they're out in front. Great job Donut Wheel! Still my favorite donut shop ever.

Amazing Donuts. I stop at every donut place I see and this place was fantastic. Not only were the donuts great but the owner was super nice and let me try a fresh one from the back when he found out I was from Canada.

Been here a few times and the service has always been great, and the donuts are just as good. He also threw in a fresh one to try when I got there, and another free one in the bag. Talk about great service!

The donut shop I normally go to when I am in Fairfield was closed so Google Search here I come. Donut Wheel popped up and I am so glad it did. First of all you get a warm welcome greeting when you walk in the door. Secondly, the view of all the delicious choices of donuts to choose from was wonderful. After I made my choices I was given a hot plain donut to enjoy and I have to say that was the best plain donut I have ever had. All the donuts were delicious. Donut Wheels is my new goto for donuts when I am in Fairfield. Stop by and give them a taste. 🍩😋

The donuts are super soft and fresh. Almost every time they are still warm. The owner and guy that serves you behind the counter is very nice and pleasant. Businesses these days are having trouble surviving and this place deserves your business. You won’t be dissatisfied! GO HERE!

Went to get KFC for dinner, decided hey my 11 month old needs a donut hole for being a good boy today. Walked in to the donut wheel. The guy in there was awesome and very kind. He gave us a free donut when we walked in. We bought a dozen donuts and he gave us 18 donuts for the price of 12 dunuts and a dozen donut holes for free. I will not be going anywhere else but donut wheel for now on. He is was great and customer service was phenomenal.

I've tried all kinds of donuts, including trendy ones, but I was coming in from a busy day in the bay area back home and decided to stop by a local donut shop that happens to close later. The person who helped me was chill, friendly, and so nice. The donuts tasted great and 100% hit the spot. I can't imagine what they're like freshly made! Overall, go here for fluffy, not overly sweet, old school donuts made the way donuts should be by folks who deserve every bit of support and then some.

I pulled in one day and there was a guy hanging outside in the parking lot brandishing a weapon if you can get rid of the activities I'm the area this place is an amazing go to but I'm just always to scared to go even in the broad day light

I don't know if they changed ownership, or just keeping it cleaner these days, but it's improved. The donuts are pretty good, just wish they were located somewhere else. Service? It's a donut shop. Three and a half stars

Purchased 2 dozen donuts mixed. I’ve purchased donuts before and was rather upset this time when I was sold stale cold donuts at full price. Maybe just my luck. I would ask for fresh if you’re expecting a good donut and not leftovers.
