I ordered the three piece meal instead they gave me two wings and two thighs and the black beans were good so it's the mashed potatoes with gravy service is really quick then cashier the guy was really nice and curious . The whole meal was hot I enjoyed it it was not that crowded it was spaced

Wonderful chicken bowls. Love the taste of the chicken meat. Cooked just right. And even though the drive through line was very long. They moved the line quickly. Glad we waited. Service was great as well!!😁

I went to the drive thru and order. I love the fact that is open until 11pm. The food was serve under 5 minutes with lots of salsas, good amount of napkins and utensils.. everything very tasty, hot and delicious.

El Pollo Loco always has great tasting chicken. I get the 3 piece legs & thighs meal, with sides of pinto beans and corn. Using flour tortillas, I make little burritos adding salsa and guacamole. Always tasty.

Always love this food it is so good, I ordered the 2 piecs leg and thigh with 2 sides mine are black beans and they are yummy also a side salad and I add there Pico sauce x 1 extra and 2 of the avocado dressing, ohhh yummy. Oh and look on the ads that come to the house I used a 5$ coupon for my 2 piece meal.

This place has gotten so much better. Last time I was here the food was cold and gross but this visit the food tasted very fresh and was hot. The tortillas were soft and warm. The food tasted so good. We were very pleased. And the food was ready pretty quickly. I hadn't even picked a table to sit at and it was ready.

We needed an easy quick meal for my father's 90th birthday to take to his nursing facility. Ordering was easy online. Pickup was simple. Everything was ready and waiting at time we requested and staff was very helpful and showed us everything was in the box. Food was delicious. Highly recommend!

My friends and I went and ordered some meals. My meal came back as ordered but my friends were overcharged and came back with items missing. When trying to fix order the employee could not quite understand order and my friend gave up. They ended up paying more for less. As far as the food, it was delicious and tasted freshly made. My friends will never order from this place again but I enjoyed my meal.

I ordered an avocado salad. Good! Have to ask for more dressing for the salad. It was good. But that chicken was really juicy and tasted really good. Juice was just splattering all over my fingers as I was breaking it apart with my fingers... Will be going back soon! Shout out to the cooks!!!

I wasn't real thrilled that I have to deal with beggers everytime we come through the drive thru, I know the workers can't stop that. Last night the person in front of us in the line was just horrible to the woman at the window. She was really professional, never lost her cool. I even told her she was doing a great job when I got to the window. People are so horrible. Our food was hot and fresh, everything was perfect! Great job everyone there! Your hard work IS appreciated by some customers.

My first time trying this establishment and it wasn't disappointing. I enjoyed the crunchy chicken taco and the queso was very tasty. I look forward to my next visit. Also I wanna thank the general manager, she was extremely nice and helpful. To often I find service jobs occupied by individuals who dont like interacting with people. Food was good but my remote thingy didnt buzz off when my order was ready, so I was just sitting there cluelessly until I went to go check on my order. It wasnt even busy that day, so someone could have shouted it out.

The food here is always good, tastes fresh. My new FAV is the Double Chicken Avocado, it's less than 500 calories and tastes fabulous with their creamy cilantro dressing.

Yesenia took care of me at the window. She was rude and completely devoid of any sense of customer service. If this is the caliber of employees, this El Pollo Loco location isn’t long for this world. She should be ashamed of herself as far as I’m concerned. If you could ask the 1,000,000+ people who have read my reviews they would tell you that 95 to 98% of them are positive. I am not difficult with service employees. They have a hard job and I respect that very much, but I also expect to be treated courteously and with a modicum of concern for my needs as a customer.

For being fast food, it's definitely above average for the quality of food. The customer service is okay but the freshness of the food makes up for it. Definitely one of the better choices when looking to eat healthier. This is my go-to spot for my son after wrestling practice.

I believe I had a Taco salad 🥗. It was ok. Not what I wanted it was what they had available. I was expecting more flavor...but it wasn't there. My honey went inside. Drive through was very long. It took awhile even by going inside. He told me that there were lots of teenagers working and that they were lost on what to do, very slow, and with attitudes. So, no more pollo Loco at this site. No pictures it's the on their menu.

I really love the roasted or rotisserie chicken they have at El Pollo Loco. The salads are fresh and nice as well. Have a great selection of sides, including great coleslaw and mashed potatoes. My only complaint is the salsas. Years ago in a little side bar they had nice fresh guacamole. What happened?

We do not have a El Pollo Loco restaurant in our town so we only get to enjoy the food when we travel and so far so good ....but I do have to give a shout out to this last restaurant we went too now it's not in the best of areas but the day we were there the restaurant was clean inside and out the restrooms were clean and well stocked, the employee that took our order was very friendly, helpful and smiled and talked with us as we ordered...we received our order fast and it was really nice to see what we order was just as we wanted and it was full plenty of food they did not make it skimpy we were very happy with our whole experience at this restaurant and will definitely keep returning to this El Pollo Loco if the services remain as it did on that day

The new decor is fabulous but the food has not changed much. The rice and beans are always hot, and the salsas are delicious, and bathrooms are clean but I chose to take away 1 stars because the meat in the chicken tostada, is always cold. If you improve that I will gladly give you a 5 star rating.

The bathroom was a disaster and obviously hadn’t been cleaned all day (toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor, dirty toilet and sink, out of soap. Homeless folks hanging out by the front and coming in for free refills kills the atmosphere.

Good food, good customer service, because of the situation of the surroundings, it is often a bit on the dirty side. Not because of the employees lack of responsibility, I think they do a good job, I have seen them try to have the place very clean. Like many other things in California, the prices do keep going up often. Hopefully they stay were they are at or I will have to look for other options of fire grilled chicken.

The food was good, healthy options but the restaurant is dirty. They are not keeping up with cleaning the tables after customers or sweeping. Also a passed out addict inches from the door with his ass hanging out.

My experience was okay. I haven’t been in a few years so I thought I’d try it out. I waited so long for my food that it was cold by the time I got it. I found out it’s because they announced everyone else’s order but mine. My experience could have been better.

I used to love going to this place, their tostada salads are a hit.... I always knew I could count on them for a pretty decent chicken taco 🤭 Well that changed when I bought 3 tacos and 2 of them had bone and gristle in the meat.... That had pushed me away, now I just make chicken tacos more often at home....

Usually our chicken is really good. It has been really dry the last two times we had gotten food. It seems they left under heating lamp to long!

Before now I liked patronizing the place Tonight however I was going to get a hot beverage to break a $20 Bill. However I waited and waited and waited for almost 20 minutes before finally leaving WITHOUT getting anything. I get it, they're busy but gee! I wasn't even acknowledged!! I left there VERY disgusted!!! IDK if I'll ever go back there again after being ignored

The food is good. The chicken is delicious, especially with the tortillas. The churros, beans, rice, and mac & cheese could definitely use more flavor. They're not as good or flavorful as they look. The customer service was good.

The food here is tasty and sometimes I get coupons for special prices. I would not eat here without a coupon because I think it's too pricey. My favorite thing to order is the taco salad. I sub the meat for extra beans and rice. I think the lady at the cash register was new because she told me they don't carry beans, but they do...

They always forget my flan

The food here is great, always fresh when I've been here. And they have quite a few tables outside if you prefer patio seating or if you have a pet. The location isn't the best so don't go here if you don't want to be approached for a handout. I've even seen panhandlers storing their stuff in the patio area.

El Pollo Loco is not normally my go to but after this last visit it just might be. Had the 3 taco al carbon combo that came with chips and a drink. Its was under 9 bucks and was very filling! I added a side of the queso blanco. SO GOOD! Definitely might change up my usual go to of burgers or pizza for El Pollo Loco. Plus side, the cashier (he might have been a manager) was very helpful!

3/5 Because years ago my Mother and I went to El Pollo Loco for an AVOCADO chicken Salad. With Avocado as a main in the salad. We got the salads, with I'm talking one avocado cut in half, if that. I know some companies don't wanna pay for avocado because I hear they're expensive, but you can't have it in the name of an item and be stingy with it. You also charge $12-$15 for the salad. Fast forward to 2026, I ordered the Mexican Caesar Salad, almost same thing, few pieces of chicken, this time not even half of an avocado. No exaggeration, it was half of a half. Not acceptable to me. I still like El Pollo Loco, I enjoy every now and then, just tired of them doing that. No other place that I know of, does that with avocado. Even Subway gives you more lol. Service was great, there was a lil mix up, and the ladies opened the door and handed me my order instead of making me get in my car and go through the drive thru for it. Didn't know they had closed yet. I appreciate things like that. Overall not horrible but doesn't get me up and excited to go to El Pollo Loco. The app is cool, got a deal, which helps a bit. Taste of the food was decent, just would like a lil more food in my salad is all. God Bless!

I really like a lot of the menu here. Personally i think the chicken has great flavor and the sides are tasty too. The mild house salsa is excellent. Service here is usually quick, even if the drive thru is busy. Usually crowded around lunch time. Edit: I usually go here or the In N Out nearby. Today (May 17), I try the drive- thru here around 6pm. The girl who took my money was pleasant but guy that brought my food to the window just stuck out his arm with a bag. I took it and said thanks. He just shut the window. Few seconds later, he returns with my change and receipt, I say thanks. Window slam again. Nothing. I see why In N Out constantly has a line and this EPL is rarely busy. This place used to have polite people.

It's ok, taco chicken to dry. Chicken cooked to long, dried out. Asked for mild salsa, got super hot salsa. Tortillas need to be thicker & cooked w/ a little char. Pinto beans should be regular, not super hot/spicy. Not everyone can eat hot/spicy foods .

The churros were so dry and old and had hardly any cinnamon or sugar on them. It’s kind of hard to eat a tostada on the go when they don’t give you any silverware to eat it with.

Definitely not the super quesadilla that's advertised on TV. Under cooked, cheese not even melted and looks like it was just thrown together by an inexperienced person. Location was dirty and service was slow and no one seemed to care. Had individuals standing around while customers waited to be helped. Came to Pollo Loco at 9:24pm and ordered a 16pc meal and they said they ran out of chicken and mind you they close at 11pm. They only had chicken for burritos or what not! I was like let's speak to a manager this is a chicken place and they have over an hour to close! So the employee ended up saying unless you want to wait 30mins? Umm.. yes we'll wait! It took over 15mins just to get out of the drive-thru line just to be parked.. it gets you thinking why would you say there's no more chicken if you can cook some? Either they are just being lazy and don't want to cook or they cleaned up and don't want to cook..but either way to say they ran out of chicken is wrong and hopefully the person running this location can see what night shift is doing and how much money they are losing and not to mention the customers they've cost them by pushng them away because they didn't want to cook chicken at a chicken restaurant!

Everything overall was terrible and I don’t think anyone should go here . Service was trash everyone got attitudes including the managers they got my order wrong food was cold . I wouldn’t recommend this place or location to anyone at all.

They are now only giving a 1/2 order of guacamole but still charging the same price!! When I asked why she said complain to corporate. Get your guacamole fix somewhere else so you don't get ripped off. The Salad is now smaller also, price unchanged.

If I was able to give no starts I would...I have gone to this Pollo loco several of times, and the last few times I got a girl named Jacqueline was the one who was on drive thru.she doesn't make any eye contact..she just has such a snarky attitude every time I make a payment....she always wants to argue with me when I ask for extra avocado sauce...one of the managers had to intervene once because she was being so rude..he apologized for her attitude...I went back today and there she was again with attitude and all, refused to give me extra avocado sauce "claimed that they were almost out of it"...on top of that the chicken that I got was extremely extremely small it look like it had just been sitting there all day..I will no longer go to the El Pollo Loco I will not go to a place where im not being treated with respect. A few times in the past I had some bad experience with this place, but i told myself today that since it's been awhile to give it one last try. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment again. I won't be going back anymore, due to very small amount of shredded beef in my burrito. It was mostly rice, beans, & one big chunk of beef fat that I had to throw it out. Last but not lease, the passion fruit mango iced tea didn't say it was sweeten nor nonsweeten, which it came out unsweetened, & watered down. I'm sad that it had disappointed me many times. Goodbye El Pollo Loco for the over priced & disappointing food.

Ordered for 4 people, long wait for food and when it came it took the lady at least 15 minutes to figure it out. I came for dinner, not breakfast. Just attempted to order thru drive thru. The employee mentioned they don’t have rice, broccoli , mashed potatoes , beans, cold slaw, viria. And the wait for chicken would be 10min minimum lol terrible terrible experience. Inventory control dropped a ball here. I wil not be going there again.

Wasn't even worth the one star but zero stars is not an option. Very disappointed in this location compared to other el pollo locos I've been to. I had a beef avocado quesadilla combo for $12.99. which includes a quesadilla chips & salsa with drink. My quesadilla was cold and had more watery meet juice in it than it did meat. Small portion on the chips. I had to go back to the counter to ask for my salsa they gave me a chunky salsa and a green Verde sauce in tiny plastic container that could probably be used to put your contact lenses in. 2 chips and it's gone. The whole meal wasn't even big enough to split with a friend and walk away satisfied. Will never go back to el pollo locos store #6029 @ 4188 N. Blackstone. Ever.

Food wasn't fresh or hot it was warm rice was overcooked no seasoning they didn't put the sauce in the bag so then I had to go inside, inside food was all over the counters water on the floor by the soda machine. The person cleaning couldn't handle a squeeze mop and was just making a mess. And they charged $5.00 for two generic waters never again.!!!!

Horrible experience today I never had any issues up to today and will never be returning I was here 11/9/2021 at around 7:30 pm. I was told the wait for chicken was 45 minutes I waited as my family really wanted it. The cashier told me she was not able to do split payments even though I have had split payments done before at this location will be calling the manager tomorrow morning

Came through the drive through around 10pm Wednesday night, employee in a Tommy Hilfiger hoodie was extremely rude, waved me off shut the window on me while I was asking him a question about my order. Food was thrown together no love in it at all, little bones in the chicken.

Really bad experience in drive through today I believe the lady's Name was Ashley this was today Aug 8, 2021 at about 1:20 pm very rude to me in front of my children, I eat here 5 days out of the week and always leave with a smile. I believe She should be Further evaluated, and have a coaching on how to treat customers, this is very sad. I also believe she owes us an apology.

We always have a mediocre experience with the staff at this location but today they were incredibly rude to my mother. I worked quite a few service jobs and I know how the hours can be! But to treat my mom with such disrespect on a night when we wanted an easy meal after a long work day was horrible. The manger nor the employee apologized at any point for having been rude to her. Safe to say we will not be returning to this location again!

We ordered food online and went to pick it up. They forgot my layered salad. When I went back inside and showed my receipt they said ok. 15 minutes later (one girl was filling little cups, another walking around with a phone, asking the girl who was cooking more chicken "if she could talk to her. The guy at the counter, was pleasant but being as it was a little slow maybe he should of put on some gloves and made the salad. They continued taking drive through orders. I would think when a customer comes back because something was missing, that would be a priority. Then after 15 minutes, the girl who made the salad, put it on the counter all the.way at the end, very softly announced what it was and walked away. So, it wasn't clear if it was mine. She should of spoke up and made sure it was in my hand. By the time I got back home the chicken was cold, The Mac and cheese was dry and clumpy. ZERO customer service skills

The door was stuck when we tried to open it and the staff just stood there gesturing instead of coming to help. It's a hundred and five degrees outside and there is no air-conditioning, my special needs clients were very uncomfortable.
