Finally stopped in for an early lunch after driving by for years, was not disappointed. We ended up with a custom 8 inch (personal size) regular crust, 12 inch Da Big Kahuna thin crust, and a garden salad with the house dressing. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Both crusts were solid, good texture, only complaint is I'm not a fan of extra salt/seasonings on crusts, but this certainly was not a deal breaker. Salad was super fresh. Staff was friendly and responsive. We'll be back!
I was privileged to have breakfast with my wife who chose to eat here. Auntie Maile’s is one of our favorites for the taste of the Islands. Since they combined with Aloha Pizza and now serve breakfast, we decided to try it out. We ordered our food, my wife’s choice was corn beef hash and eggs and decided to try the new ube pancakes off the breakfast menu. The corn beef hash and sunny side up eggs were cooked to perfection and the ube pancakes reminded me of the ube pancakes back home at Guieb Cafe in Kalihi. The pancakes were fluffy and the ube syrup was delicious and subtly sweet. The service was excellent as they came to check up on us several times. A plus, was as we were waiting for our food a group of musicians started setting up their stage area. Surprisingly, these were not the just weekend musicians, one was Auntie Geri, a staple from Merrie Monarch and Butchie from The Krush. Unfortunately, we were only able to hear a couple songs performed before having to leave. A great way to start the new week and morning. Mahalo nui loa to the friendly staff at Aloha Pizza. We will be back! A definite recommendation for onolicious food and fabulous service.
So stoked the new owners have brought the vibe and feel of their sister restaurant Aunty Maileʻs in Torrance- to Gardena! They have upgraded the menu to include breakfast, lunch and dinner treats and their Sunday live music adds to the local flavor of the place. Their fresh made malasadas are da bomb. These bad boys come in different fillings. You gotta tryʻēm all! Owners Kai and Junko bring a welcome addition to the Hawaii style eating venue to the neighborhood.
We ordered on the phone. We got a pizza and cheese, a Ikaika, and a half and half Hapa Haole and Hawaiian. Everything was ready within 25 minutes and hot. The crust was delicious. The shrimp was small but flavorful. The hawaiian was SPLENDID. And the Ikaika was great. Definitely a crowd pleaser. Will try again.
This is our local pizza place. Everyone always loves their pizza when I show up. Love the new beer options and the extended menu.
Amazing service and live music on Sunday!! Not to mention the food! Love grabbing breakfast, lunch and dinner here!! Family owned and operated, support your locals!!
My friends and I have made this our favorite stop on our way to SoFi stadium before the games. Conveniently located just off the 91 with plenty of space for our group. Always quick, delicious and incredibly warm Aloha spirit. I don’t ever order chicken outside but Mako recommended it so I tried it, it’ll surprise you, trust! Aloha Platez is one of those places you go for good dependable food but always walk away meeting new friends. Prices are fair but once you consider the amount of food you get, it’s actually a really good deal. Oh and those Malasadas are amazing. I’m not a desert person but I have to say their dough is light and bouncy, almost mochi level. It’s better than in Waikiki IMO. Simple but perfect, worth the try. I like it plain bc the dough is the best part.
This place is in what I like to call a foodie corner, and apartments basically in the same driveway. When you enter this place, it's warm and welcoming! They had lots of cool things to purchase besides food! We ordered a lot, let's get into it. Hawaiian Freeze: This was super refreshing, and you can put different flavors in it. Sake Freeze: A fun alcoholic version of the Hawaiian Freeze. This was also refreshing. Local Deluxe (Spam & Portuguese Sausage): I upgraded the rice to Bacon Fried Rice, no regrets at all. Everything was fried perfectly, my Over-Medium Egg was exactly the way I love it. That Bacon Fried Rice just made this dish so much better! Unlimited Toppings Pizza: Basically got the important meats, but added all the veggies, nothing overpowered anything else. It was amazing! Ikaika: Oh, if you like your meat lovers pizza, look no further than this! Daily Specials: Chicken Katsu Curry: This was amazing, also adding the Bacon Fried Rice just gave it so much extra flavor. Would totally do it again! Curry Pizza: Oh, crispy cheese, curry, and stewed veggies, would totally order it again. Hands down one of my favorite spots for Hawaiian food. Would drive out of my way to get it again!
Came here a couple times years ago but now with the new ownership, Aloha Pizza is back and better than ever. It's not just pizza, wings and shaved ice anymore. Now they have breakfast burritos, pancakes and the best malasadas in the South Bay! If you don't know, go check them out
Checked this place out to try the new plate lunches. They're delicious. The menu has a big selection of wings, Hawaiian pizza, plate lunches, and the desserts and malasadas look great. Will be back!
Aloha Pizza has always been a good local pizza place with the best shave ice texture I've had on the mainland. Recently the torch passed to the Aunty Maile's team, which is a restaurant I drive to even when I don't live in the south bay. I'll be coming by more. The crust always has run a little dry for my taste, and that's the same so far. The breakfast pizza is a fluffy egg delight with your choice of meats, although be warned it's tomato sauce-less and we did not get green onions like I saw on social media. Malasadas have gotten added to the menu, and they're amazing plain. Light, fluffy, slightly bready gems with a light coating of sugar for a not too sweet treat. I'm excited for the fillings coming soon. Call in fifteen minutes ahead because they fry them up fresh. The breakfast plates are the same excellent quality you get at Aunty Maile's. They're just getting started so I can't wait to see what's coming.
Kind and attentive staff. Went to try their new smash burger and want to go back and try the rest of the menu! Same ownership as Aunty Maile’s which I’ve been a fan of for a couple years.
Very friendly staff and great tasting food
Aloha Pizza and Shave Ice was something I saw while driving by on the way to my destination out of the corner of my eye ... when I got there I called and lucky enough I was just in the delivery area ... so excited after looking at their menu and deciding we were stoked ... pizza showed up quick and the driver was super friendly and genuinely appreciated the tip we gave ... the food was FANTASTIC!!! We weren't sure how the mango would taste on pizza, but it was great! The wings were scrumptious and the ribs were outstanding with so much flavour packed into them, makes me wish I was visiting Hawaii and not SoCal ...
This place has some of the best pizza around! This pizza is so flavorful. The garlic butter on the pan sets their pizza apart from others. They don't skimp on the cheese!! While their the Auntie (something) sorry I can't remember the name on the top of my head. Is a must!!! This shave ice is loaded and more than enough to feed 2-4 people
I love this restaurant to its core. As a big fan of Auntie Mailies to see the same care and love be put into this restaurant elevates it to that level of special they achieve. Only got the shaved ice this time but will soon be back for more!
Only been here once but I'm putting it on my biweekly lunch routine. Good people. Good food. Only complaint was trying to come in on a Monday and found out there closed Monday and Tuesday.

I had ordered a couple of large Chinese chicken salad online for pickup. It was stated 30-45 minutes for pickup. I knew I was going to arrive a tad early prior to my pickup time. As I was parking, I received a text that my order was ready. The gentleman at the counter was super friendly and got my order out quickly. This large salad was a good size and fed plenty at the potluck I was attending. Shredded chicken was moist, fresh greens, fried wonton for crunch, green onions.
The pizza here was great. Crust had a good flavor to it and the bake time was perfect. Also had the shaved ice and the fluffiness of the ice was authentic to what they have in Hawaii.
Breakfast Burrito with Bacon Fried Rice: 10/10 (Stuffed, and huge. 3”x3” thick and 10” long.) Spam Egg Massubi: 10/10 (Spam is flavorful, and eggs are fluffy) Donut: 9/10 Customer Service: 10/10
The new owners, Junko & Kai, brought back the ALOHA spirit to this Hawaiian restaurant/bakery in the South Bay/LA area. You can immediately tell the staff genuinely enjoys their work. The food is consistently excellent, featuring high-quality Hawaiian food and don't skip the desserts! They serve the best malasadas in all of California, specifically across LA County and the South Bay. I would confidently say they are better than Leonard's Bakery on Oahu, and the best part is you get the fresh, hot malasadas without the long lines or the flight to Honolulu. Highly recommended for anyone craving Hawaiian food or breakfast and the best desserts in Southern California!

My husband and I are here a few years ago when it first opened. Always was great. This time it was just good. The pizza I got seemed to be missing the kick of the spice it had the last time I got the Sriracha chicken. It was still good. I added crushed red pepper to it. I think maybe the lady misunderstood me and thought I didn't want spicy. I love spicy! Anyway, she was super nice, though. I'm glad we revisited this place. Next time, I want to get some dessert. They have a big selection to choose from and it all sounded delicious!
1 16inch pizza was $30, this is one of my favorite pizza places. Flavor is top notch, they put tons of toppings, and you can customize or get half and half which is perfect for my family. Service is always friendly and quick as possible when baking fresh pizzas. I love the shaved ice so that's a major plus. Give them a try iit's a chill place with lots of open seating!
Kinda bummed. Haven't been here since before the changed over. Tried the corned beef hand and eggs. Flavor was ok but the portion was questionable. Maybe 1/4 of an inch thick by 6"x3" (2 eggs, 2 huge scoops of rice). I understand business and portion control, but for $16.95, thought there might be a little more. Still love Aunti Maile's but may think twice before going back to Aloha Platez, though. (Service was great!)
Has pretty unique Hawaiian theme choices. The regular pie crust is chewy, which I liked a lot. They can do half and half so you get to try two flavors. It is a little bit on the pricy side but I'm glad we tried this place. We ordered half and half of uncle's kalua pie & hapa haole and a aloha's loco Moco (they only do whole pie for this flavor). Our favorite is the loco Moco.
Got the shaved ice & ice cream, the young lady put coconut flavoring in which I didn't ask for on top of the other flavors, she should have ask was it ok that she put the wrong flavoring on there to let me decide if I wanted it. Oh well, I ate it, I didn't want to get the young lady in trouble by asking her to remake it.
Honestly just came here for the shave ice and it was exactly what we needed. The inside dining area is pretty huge. Loved that you can choose up to 3 flavors and add fresh fruit or other items. My favorite flavor was the green apple. Cool place for a little shave ice and good conversation with a friend.

We tried Aloha Platez & Shave Ice Company for the first time and ordered two medium pizzas — the Kamehameha and the Sriracha Chicken — which was more than enough food for four people. The pizzas were solid overall. The crust had good structure and flavor, not too thick or thin, and held up well while eating. The Kamehameha was a loaded combo-style option with plenty of veggies, and the Sriracha Chicken had good balance without being overly spicy. Both are easy to customize depending on your preferences (like removing olives or cilantro). We ordered to-go, and the online ordering process was quick and straightforward. Service was friendly and everything was ready on time. Inside, the atmosphere felt like a casual neighborhood pizza spot — TVs playing the game and groups enjoying food and cheering on their teams. Nothing necessarily stood out as exceptional, but everything was consistently good, making it a dependable option if you’re in the area and in the mood for pizza. Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5

Thanks for supporting to host fundraising of local school, but I wish there's separate line for pickup or employ more staffs. Been waiting 10 min outside and there are still 6-7 people ahead of me. Gosh! I ordered an hour ago for pickup, and wasting another 20-30 min outside ONLY for pickup?? Insane! Updated. Finally got my pizza after 40 min additional waiting outside in the line ONLY for pickup. Now I'm eating COLD pizza after 1 3/4 hours and spending $30 bucks.
We had a bad experience with customer service, and the food arrived cold, but it was not their fault—it was Grubhub’s. Thanks to Junko, the owner, who reached out and assured us that this will never happen again and made things right. That means a lot to us, and we look forward to placing more orders in the future. Next time we will pick up instead :) MAHALO!
Aloha Pizza was alright. My friend was told that the food here was great. We had 2 12" inch pizzas plus chicken wings. The pizza were so-so which is bad considering the price. The chicken were okay though nothing special. We ordered no shaved ice so we're unable to leave an opinion. We're sorry but we'll stick to other pizza and chicken wing places in the South Bay.
Pizza was good. Missing some ingredients but decent. Large pizza. Half pepperoni but missing a lot. 13 pepperonis only and some slices had none. This was disappointing to say the least as my family was looking forward to a good pizza. Worth a try, but won't be back unfortunately.

Came by to try some pizza, was on my way home and super hungry so decided to check this place out. Called to place an order for the kamehameha pizza s/o to toriyama BUT man was supppper bummed that once I got my pizza I could already tell it wasn’t going to be good with just how heavy the box was coming from the middle of the pizza. Then by the time I walked out to my car it felt like the bottom of the box was going to rip with how soggy the pizza made the box. I had an hour drive home so I wasn’t going to let this lie get cold so I went in right away and maaaaaan, the pizza had good taste but it literally felt like eating a sloppy Joe! Pizza had so much toppings it was very hard to enjoy. Super upset about this experience because I love pizza… also paid $30 for a large which I’m kind of upset that it was a waste of money… oh well, thanks for reading!
Well, I really love this place. The pizza is delicious. The shaved ice is the best! However, the garlic shrimp rice plate is my absolute FAVORITE! I don't know what happened today. It tasted completely different. Yes, it had garlic taste, but it lacked the seasoning it used to have. I'm not sure if they cut the shrimp differently or if it's the cheaper shrimp. I don't remember the legs still attached to the shell. 🫤 I might not get the shrimp plate anymore & that's all I use to order. 😪
Unfortunately this place fell far behind my expectation I was so looking forward to trying their food but using the app "Chowwow" ( even stated "NO SERVICE FEES" ) was such misleading and fraudulent experience that I will never patronize this place again but I will tell you an honest truth about their food their Pizza to me and my son which is 12 years old and had nothing to lose nothing OR gain literally said it tasted like Domino's there was nothing spectacular about it...the chicken wings look like they had some kind of disease they were so small & ridiculously looking... (the pictures will say it all), their ribs were actually pretty good they gave you plenty of them there was enough to go around they were a great tasting nothing bad to say about that but their Pizza below average their chicken wings had decent flavor but I can't believe they actually serve those the way they are do not order from "Chowwow" off the Google site because there is an upcharge of anywhere from 10 to 12 to 15 dollars whatever you order and they should have something stating that which I think is so fraudulent and my order I had came out to over $52 for a 12-in Pizza which is 19.99 thru "chowwow" 24 bucks, 808 wings 10.99 thru the app 14 dlrs, Hawaiian ribs 11.99 thru the app 13.98..so tired of the consumer getting ripped off especially with things are so expensive nowadays and just having one day to go out with the family to eat and then just to get ripped off at the same time so disappointed in aloha Pizza and in the app.
I was very excited to try this spot out but unfortunately the shaved ice barely had any flavor, it was all ice no flavor. On top of that, I had to wait 20 minutes after paying $13 for a flavorless shaved ice and they didn’t even say sorry for the wait. Won’t be going back there.
Tried the malasadas and took 25 mins. It was made to order (it’s a good thing except for the time) my wife was having a hard time reading the price but when she asked the cashier about it he keep saying “it’s up there”. Definitely not customer friendly. Time to look for another place selling malasadas. Service should be rated on the minus side. Not recommending this place. Orders take forever. The parking is also pathetic. Try Kings Hawaiian next time. Clean, fast and courteous
