Always great food and sweet people
We ordered the burger plate. My burger was delicious and fresh. We tried the hand dipped onion rings and fresh cut fries. The waitress was amazing and very sweet. The drink prices were pricey. We will return to eat again.
The "non smoking" section is definitely a bit smoky, but for the short duration of eating there I can put up with it. (You can also order food to go, and it's very convenient because they have a drive through.) It's worth it because T.T. has the best diner food I've ever eaten, and the prices are really reasonable. Everyone there has been really friendly in my experience. The LC burger is to die for and I love their fried chicken and delicious sides. And Lord have mercy, the desserts are divine, inexpensive and huge. Treat yourself to a slice of peanut butter pie- you won't regret it!
Great place. Has a local feel. Smoking area separated by glass and doors. So both smokers and non smokers enjoy their meals. Waitress was really good. I visited in the morning when it was crowded, but the waitress was still efficient and friendly. Food is prepared quickly. And the price is very reasonable. I just can't eat breakfast thier every morning (though I would love to) or I would weigh a ton by the end of a year. Im new in town and glad I found this place. I highly recommend it. Just drive on past McDonalds and stop at Texas Traditions.
I love the mom and pop type little dinners. I had bacon and eggs, like always it got there fast even though it was pretty busy.
Love this place. The food has been very good, down home southern cooking. Love the fried pickles just for instance. Also love the dive like atmosphere. My wife and I have been here 4-5 times, always between midnight and 4:30 am. Sometimes they are out of some menu items. If you are a smoker, they have a separate smoking room.
Great stop in gladwater. Food always fresh and great. Service is always on point.
I've been going to this location for over 41 years. Through several name changes, it's always had great food and service. I would dine in more if the smoking section was closed off completely with a separate entrance. Only because I have asthma. I realize they cant cater to everyone. But, I guarantee you I hit that drive thru every time I can. The wait staff are friendly and efficient. The cook is over the top! Love love live this place!
Holy cow! Everything on the menu looked amazing, and what we ordered was filling and delicious. The missus and I are definitely coming back. It's totally worth the hour drive.
Do not pass this place up if you're I Gladewater! My family and i visited here and had the best experience! The food is fantastic , from the large pancakes to the sasquatch burger. The service was impeccable. Truly a hidden gem.
Great no frills, comfortable place for wonderful diner style home cooking. Service was excellent, awesome teamwork by the waitstaff to keep the customers taken care of. Thank you ladies, you did a super job and our breakfast was great!
Wife and I had the chicken fried steak, mashed taters and fried okra. The steak was very tender and without any gristle. Very good service. 4/26/25
Stopped while going through town, we will definitely be back, it is worth the drive. Large portions, food was amazing, staff was the best and the owner was also at our table a couple of times. Not a single thing to dislike about this place and the prices were great for the amount of food we received.
Food was great, we had the King Ranch Chicken and the Steakfingers plate. Fast, friendly service with a cozy old country diner atmosphere! Check them out if in the area!
Small diner atmosphere, homemade food. Burger on sourdough bun and hand dipped onion rings were worth coming back for. Chocolate pie made in house was excellent. Other items on menu looked inviting. Going to have to make another stop here andvtry something else.
Service was still amazing after thirty person table had been sat before us (so sorry if you're lost), food was amazing and so good. The garlic ranch on everything!
A local “Cheers” type restaurant. Everyone knows everyone kinda place. Hometown restaurant. My friend and I meet here for an early breakfast in our sleep pants and hoodies. Very casual atmosphere. The food is always delicious, whether it be breakfast, lunch or supper. The burgers are so large that me and my MIL split a burger meal. Definitely one of my “go-to” places close to home.
We eat here at least once sometimes twice a week. Everything we've ordered has been wonderful! We have had breakfast and dinner here for the past year. Thursday Nov 7th during dinner, the kitchen was completely off. It seemed everyone recieved something incorrect including us. The food was just adequate for the first time. We will be back but hopefully you had a really bad night and this will be corrected . Great wait staff!
A great, small town place to eat. I travel to this area for work from San Antonio from time to time and Texas Traditions is my go to! Food is always fresh and homecooked! The waitresses are phenomenal, friendly and treat you like family! Highly recommend and I rarely give reviews but felt it was needed!
Homey atmosphere, with to notch customer service from Sam. Had our little ones there and made us feel welcome. Also had a friend trying biscuits and gravy for the first time and she loved it!
What a great place for Sunday Lunch. When we walked in we were greeted by multiple smiling faces of the wait staff. We took our seat and began looking through the menu. We made our choices…until we saw breakfast being served to the table next to us. It looked amazing. We decided to stick with our original decisions and we were glad we did. The food was excellent. I was also so impressed by all the cheerful staff. Multiple waitresses, bus staff, and cooks checked on us throughout the meal. We stumbled upon this hole in the wall diner…but we will be back on purpose!
We visited after a Jr. High volleyball game on a Monday evening. The parking lot was rough, and I questioned our choice. Upon entrance, we were greeted by friendly staff and we sat ourselves. Our waitress was prompt and courteous. We ordered a variety of food including a full breakfast for one, burgers, and the daily special. Our food did take a bit to get out to us, but it was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly to order. The onion rings are wonderful! Our drinks were always kept full, all condiments were available, and the restaurant was clean with plenty of seating.
Waitress raised her voice to speak with a customer across the restaurant when she was 2 feet from my face. Informed her that some people have auditory sensory issues, To which she said You should expect those kind of noises in a restaurant. I was already on my way out the door I turned to her and said you just yelled in my face, And she said Well there's the door. Speaking with the manager several hours later on the phone, The waitress conspired with her regular customers to tell the manager that I cussed at her to justify her asking me to leave... Not acceptable behavior from your waitress. Keep in mind I was already on my way out the door. A simple I'm sorry I didn't realize I was yelling in your face is all that was necessary to prevent me from being upset. A complaint is always an opportunity to do better. A complaint should never be met with an argument. But I did talk it over with the manager. manager explained to me that it's a small town restaurant, and that the after 2:00 crowd is usually filled with regulars who expect that kind of service from their waitress. They want her to speak to them from across the restaurant. They would think it were rude if she didn't. I now know That if I don't wish to be subjected to that kind of behavior from a waitress, that I have to come after 4:00 p.m. when the second dining room will be open, So I don't have to sit in the main dining room and be subjected to it. Some people just want to have a nice quiet meal. If that's what you're looking for this may not be the place for you. I do want to be clear that the service I received other than the waitress yelling a lot, And the food that I received was very good. After speaking with a manager I agreed to alter my initial review.
I haven't eaten here since I was very young. It was always my dad's go-to place! It has been updated a little and is now non-smoking inside. The food was delicious even my 4 year old ate almost all of his plate! Haha. The people were friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming!
Man oh man , I gotta say . This place is the place to be. First time visiting and everyone here knew each other, from staff to guest dinning in. Everyone having a good meal and talking with each other. What a great welcoming feeling. The coffee tasted great and the grilled chicken had a great flavor. Great spot to check out if you’re passing through town.
Hallie is ALWAYS and I do mean ALWAYS great she does a wonderful job if she isn’t working I don’t consider coming in If Amanda is working I damn sure not going in to eat Amanda is rude as hell and gives less than par service !!!!!!
The food was excellent! Miss Shannon blessed our socks off with her great service! We will be back!
Shannon was our waitress. She gave outstanding and friendly service with a smile and courteous and thoughtful awareness of our needs. The fish dinner was superb!
Despite the walk up appeal this restaurant was full of wonderful friendly people they knew the entire menu! Food was hot and delicious with each and every dish we ordered! Tea was amazing and our glasses never ran dry! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant and the people who run it we had an amazing meal surrounded by wonderful people including the patrons... 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I ate here for the first time last week and it was great! Very friendly folks, service was great, and the food was delicious. I had the lunch chicken breast. It was juicy and flavorful. The place is a little small so I would imagine it gets pretty cramped on busy days. All in all, I would recommend trying it out.
Fried chicken sandwich recommended by our server Mandy.. absolutely delicious!
Excellent service! Great food! Downhome Country Diner!! Love it there! The onion rings!
This is a very simple cafe with outstanding service and great food!!!! Best deal in the tri county area!!!!!
My go to breakfast place. Excellent service every time!
I eat at this place 2 or 3 times a week now and it is a clean and friendly establishment, also waitresses are always prompt. Great place
We had never been to Texas Traditions before and an antique shop recommended it. The Cheeseburger & fresh cut fries were excellent! I had a sourdough bun too. Great food & service. Everyone was so nice, including the owner and manager. We were extremely pleased with our lunch experience. Looking forward to coming back when we’re In Gladewater. If you’re coming to Gladewater, this should be on your list to eat here! Thank y’all!
Our first time here. Food was great! Big, big portion sizes, for a great price. Staff was exceptional and friendly. We’re going to eat breakfast there next! Can’t wait 😍
Shannon was the best server. The Sasquatch hit the spot. We were there 9/28 Sunday
The BEST onion rings I've ever had. My sister said they have the best hamburger she's ever had & it was just their regular burger on sourdough bun. I had one too & it really is a fantantic burger!! Good homemade vegetables too. Worth driving an hour to eat here. Wish we could come more often!
I'm 72 and have been coming here since it was Pete's Grill. I don't live close, but I get here as often as I can. It was an every Friday and Saturday night thing back in the day. (Lots of dancing!) The food was great then and I am proud to say it has not changed. Great food, Great service! ❤️❤️❤️
First time to eat here and it won’t be the last. Food was delicious, served hot and promptly. Shannon, our waitress was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed.
This restaurant has been one of my favorites since I was a little kid and even when it was still the silver spur before it was Texas Traditions. I used to go with my grandad all the time when I was little, they have the best homestyle pancakes
Superb ! . This small-town This small-town cafe in Gladewater, Texas, is a hidden gem that I drive out of Longview just to visit. It’s hard to find authentic breakfast, steak and eggs, biscuits, and coffee without resorting to big-name commercial restaurants. The food here is home-cooked, just like grandma used to make . I Highly recommend when in the mood for good ole breakfast .
We absolutely loved this place. We ate there most mornings while we were in Gladewater! The biscuits were to die for….really, everything was!
This restaurant has been open for a long time. Locals love it, and any visitors can expect the same good food, friendly East Texas small-town atmosphere and reasonable prices. Standout items include the burgers, pies, and some of the BEST onion rings! It does have a separate room for smoking.
When u first pull up, you almost question if it's a restaurant. The building is old and has no writing on it. But that didn't stop me from going in and I was not disappointed. The onion rings were almost the size of my face 😀 and so so crispy. I got that with the LC burger and the meat was so juicy. I got chips and trio dip which was avocado dip, ranch and salsa. I didn't like the salsa just because it tasted like ketchup to me but hey if u like ketchup then u got to try. Nice experience, awesome service and delicious food. It's a 10 for me!!
Food was delicious, a bit busy this morning or if say that service was a five. I will say one thing that I would change is that the cookies are only buy 3, I'd like to buy just one or two at a time instead - three at a time is a bit much for me.
The food here is AMAZING! I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, and fried okra. Started the meal with some mozzarella cheese sticks that were perfectly made. The server was super friendly and all the other servers were super nice as well. Got my food at a surprisingly fast time. Definitely will be coming back.
A good ole country cafe set on Hwy 80 in Gladewater, Texas. This was our first visit at this place and was impressed with the quality of service, taste of the food, and felt we were adequately satisfied with our choice of eating establishments. The exterior of the building could use some updating, but don't let that be a hindrance to choosing this place if venturing through Gladewater.
My husband and I are truck drivers and happened to had came across this place while in the area. We decided to try it. We were very impressed by the food and service. Shannon was our waitress and she was absolutely sweet and welcoming. Her service was fantastic. Since we had been first timers, she gave us recommendations and we went with what she recommended. It certainly did not disappoint. If we happen to be back in the area we will visit again
Amazing service and food. The chicken fried chicken just melted in my mouth. Shannon was our waitress and reminded me what it was to have good, friendly service. Thank you for the experience.
We had the best breakfast here!!! So glad the waitress recommended a grilled biscuit…I’m still thinking about it. Ordered pancakes for the kids and they made them into Mikey shapes and added whip cream and sprinkles. The patrons were playing w our kiddos and very kind. Would def recommend if you are in Gladewater.
We are from out of town and decided to stop here. It was a gem of a place. The food was delicious and you get such large portions. Everything was delicious. Our 3 kids said “it was the best place ever.” Our waitress, Shannon was amazing. Glad we stopped here and will be back when we pass back through!
We have been here a few times now. So far each time the food was good. Service is always great. The onion rings are amazing! Definitely order the green beans as a side. They always do it Texas Roadhouse style with bacon and onions. Everything taste homemade and made in house. Not frozen like some places. We will definitely be back.
We had supper there tonight. Our waitress was Amazing. Her name was Mandy. Ask for her when you go in to eat. Food was very delicious enjoyed it. And they had cinnamon roll cheesecake for dessert. It was Awesome 🥰❤️❤️❤️ Can’t wait to go back for more.
So delicious!! Mandy was so warm and welcoming! We enjoyed her as our server very much and we will definitely be going back. This is the kind of place you can order anything and it’ll be good, even after just being there once that was quite obvious. The atmosphere was so homey and reminded me of my grandparents home growing up. Loved it, will be back and bringing family in when they visit!
One of the best lunches I have had. The chicken fried chicken wasn't pounded thin like most places do. It was a normal breast cooked to perfection. Gravy, mashed potatoes & green beans really good. Rolls so tender. Hubby liked his ham omelet but kinda wished he'd gotten chicken fried steak. It was busy and thought we'd be in for a wait but was delivered quickly.
If you are going to complain about this place having a smoking section... DO NOT EAT HERE! I Love it, the food is amazing, home-cooked meals and homemade ranch.. it's a family oriented place and the waitresses who have been working there for years are just so loving and friendly! Being a very small town they get a few sketchy employees every now an then but they don't stick around long! It’s a 24 hour restaurant except on Sunday nights. The steaks are the best.. I get them extra seasoned! Amanda is my favorite waitresses but the older ladies also do a magnificent job! This place can get busy really quick! It's small so being patient is a must sometimes. When it is busy I would recommend letting your waitress know everything you need when she's at your table the first couple times because sometimes there might be a time where she physically can't get back to your table do to attending 7 other tables. Don't judge this little place when they are too busy, take the time to go during a not so busy day and I promise the experience will be 100 times better. If you've never worked in the restaurant industry long enough don't leave a nasty review based off of a one time experience. I go to this restaurant at least twice a week. My experience is different everytime. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day.
We went at around 7 am on Sat. although they were busy we were seated quickly. Our (5) orders were taken and all of that was ordered was in front of each of us and we all liked everything. Our waitress was very friendly as well as professional!
The chicken fried steak was excellent although for the price it was a little on the small side. It comes with two sides and they have a board which shows you which vegetables are available, typically something like sweet potato fries, okra, mixed vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower and you'll have to check the board to see what they have that day. We had an appetizer of chips and salsa which were excellent. You could tell that the chips were homemade. You could also tell that the salsa was homemade and they do let you know it was made in house. The nice thing about it was that the salsa was very chunky and it was lightly salted with the perfect amount of heat but it wasn't too hot. So it was just enough to be a great accompaniment for the chips. My only issue was the price of that appetizer at $9.99 was high. This is because most places the chips are around $3.75 so with the quantity of salsa they made I could see them charging perhaps $5.99 for the entire thing. However the entire place was clean: the table we sat out was obviously clean; the floor was clean also and everybody commented on how good their food was, regardless of what they ordered. So I would recommend visiting this place although you may find in some cases that while the food is priced a little bit higher than you're expecting, it does come hot and it does come tasty and fresh. One last thing: the onion rings are to die for so if you want to pay a little more, they are worth it to get and they will come out just with enough batter, crispy, and the onions will snap off in your mouth: it won't be this long string that's hanging out of your mouth and it will be very crunchy, very tasty, with the right amount of seasoning in the batter to make you just feel like you've died and gone to heaven to bite into that onion ring.
food was great the coffee amazing. The service was slow but very friendly, the atmosphere country slow paced, a lot of regulars who chatted with the waitress's like old friends and other customer if they knew. But remember this is a local restaurant. Slow pace and comfortable
The food is always good here. The service is hit and miss. The atmosphere is about what you would expect from an old timey hole in the wall restaurant but it's clean. The restrooms need updating and the parking lot is horrible!
I’ve been coming to this place for years with my family, it’s always felt like home and has always had amazing food and service. When you walk in you’re always greeted with warmth. I don’t know if it was just the wrong day but that warm welcome seemed absent. But the food was amazing and our waitress was great.
First of all the waitresses are awesome! We really like the food there but have a couple of complaints. The portions, for a lot of us out here don't eat all the big portions. Let us decide if we want that big portion. I love the grilled chicken with swiss cheese but when we come in there I have to get 2 because it's after 4pm and of course a higher price and one grill chicken doesnt get eaten. Let us 55 and over have a senior menu, most of the restaurants around do have a senior menu. The new way the chicken fried steak is done we will not be buying it anymore, it's nasty. Please go back to the old way. I'm not putting down the restaurant, I'm just a customer that would like to see a few chages. You help the customer out then they will continue to come back. We come there often it's like our home away from home. Just look at your menu and think about your customers. Yeah prices will change a little for smaller portions but you will have a happier customer that will then go let their friends know and then you will get more people that will even out the money and portions.
I wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars but I really couldn't. Anyone who reads my reviews knows that I only do reviews that are brutally honest. I have nothing but great things to say about the ambience, food, speed of service, and friendliness of the young female and male wait staff. My family and I had a small gathering and when I say the food was good, even my dad enjoyed his food and he is very very picky. The waitress who took care of us was so phenomenal. She got all of our orders right 100% and she was friendly. She came back to our table to check on us and made us feel very much at home. The only critique I have for this restaurant is to look at the fact that it is the year 2018. You may have guest come into your restaurant from all over the world. You should train every member of your staff to be pleasant and accommodating to all of your patrons. There was an older gentleman in your staff who came out and stared at us in the most ridiculous and uncomfortable way. This is not the 1950's/1960's. Many things that were legal then are illegal now. Please educate your staff to leave their personal beliefs at home and treat all guests with respect.
Food was great, but there are some definite things you have to get over when walking in the door. We first had to sit in the smoking section, which was absolutely disgusting. Things went a lot smoother once we moved into the non-smoking room. Deserts were great, meal was great. Not the cleanest looking place I've ever been in, for sure, but the food is good.
Texas Traditions is about a small hole in the wrong place that you would not even realize was there if you weren't looking for it I believe. Food is good but not great. I've been there a couple of times now and enjoyed the meals overall. Could be a lot better and a lot higher quality food for a little place in the middle of nowhere. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful and typically did a pretty good job at what they do. Not sure how clean maybe the place was but basically decent. I know I'll be back cuz it's a little less pricey than a couple other places I have been yet some decent food. Oh, and watch out for that huge pothole in the driveway exiting, it might swallow your car.
I've Been several times to Hawaii Brothers in DFW/Denton area, And the food have always been superb. This one food did not come up to the quality of the others. Slightly loud in the restaurant. The waiting staff were awesome. They came around frequently to see if you need anything else.
Went there for my first time for breakfast. Service was great but the biscuits were dry and tasted a bit old. Didn't even want to finish them. Was hoping to have a good meal like my grandmother used to make but no was not anything alike. The bacon was over cooked but the waitress had mine remade. I want to give this place another shot and would like to up my ratings. Hopefully it'll be better next time. But I'm not ordering the same meal.
Waitress was very unsure about menu used brown lettuce on sandwich meat tasted good
Eggs, over easy were extremely runny, almost watery. If anyone has ever soaked an egg in water before, the water is absorbed through the shell, that is what it seemed like. Pancakes, biscuits and hash browns were pretty good. Took a long time to get an order taken. Need some upgrades on the building. The bathroom, reminds me of a very old trailer bathroom. This place has been there a long time, been about 15 years since I ate there last time. It was old then. At some point, there needs to be remodeling or a new building. The staff was friendly enough. They spoke to the regulars as they came into the door.
9/10 would NOT recommend. The food was very bland no spices at all. My husband had hash browns, chicken fried steak, over easy eggs and biscuits, it was all cooked correctly but no flavor. I had the fried popcorn shrimp, fried okra, and fried zucchini, no flavor… the fried pickles were overcooked and no seasoning. Not impressed.
The waitresses today need customer service training. Absolutely no personality and not friendly. Smile a bit, it makes a difference!! I had the patty melt. I'm 53 and that was the worst sandwich I've ever had. It was so dry. The waitress offered ranch dressing, not sure how that would help. My dad likes the early morning waitresses and eats here often. He loves breakfast. I personally will not be back. First impressions are important and they missed it completely today.
we have been coming here for years and have not been there for at least eight or nine months just because eating out is a luxury for us well my birthday was last week and we didn't have the funds to eat so we came last night and wanted to go sit in our favorite spot in the small room in the corner at our favorite table which we have always sat at since we started coming years ago… We stood at the door and the I suppose head waitress told us she was cleaning a table in the very crowded big room which had lots of noise and we do not ever eat in there never have not once and after a few more minutes we went into the small room because there were at least 10 tables available as soon as we started to sit down she came to the door and literally yelled we're shutting this room down you have to come in here where I have cleared a table for you so basically we didn't have a choice every Eye in that place was looking at us… You talk about embarrassing she did not have to be so loud and so rude she could've walked up to us and quietly said if you don't mind we're gonna clean this room up first so if you would please and please it's the keyword would you please sit in the other room but she did not do that she was loud and rude and everyone heard it and everyone was staring at us so as we picked up our jackets in my purse and proceeded to go into the big noisy room we contemplating just leaving and going somewhere else but my husband said we're already here so we might as well and no we didn't have to wait long but when we got the food the gravy the potatoes and all the sides were cold the meat was warm my husband's apparently came out last because his meat was just right. I think no matter how stressed someone is when you work somewhere it's not always what you say to someone but how you say it… And you don't have to be loud and embarrass people who have picked your establishment to spend up to $50 for a special occasion dinner. While we were waiting on our food you could tell that she was stressed to the max I get that people don't show up for work you're shorthanded no one wants to work these days sorry that is not my fault I came to give you $40-$50 and enjoy a quiet meal with my husband… But we overheard three people at a table by the bar saying hey hey just calm down it's gonna be OK just settle down it's OK so whatever she was dealing with she didn't need to be so rude to the customers who rarely get to eat out .... to be fair I assume she saw that we were very aggravated so she did not wait on us the other waitress did and She was amazing and very apologetic. When we left my husband said I seriously doubt we will be back. I would absolutely give it another try because the food up until last night was exceptional but I expect to be treated with respect and not yelled at since it was only 545 when we got there and they close at nine if I wanna sit in the same spot I've been sitting in for years I should be able to 😑 not cool
We just pulled into Texas for a long term stay for my fiancé’s job. We decided to go to Texas Traditions as it looked great and it was nearby our new temporary home and was hoping to make this place our new out to eat place. HOWEVER, we arrived and I had my service animal with me -a 2 pound chihuahua- and they promptly asked if it was a service animal. I said yes it is. Then we were seated. As we ordered our drinks and was about to order our food, another lady can to me and asked if it was a real service animal or just an ESA animal. This is against the law… but I obliged and said yes, she is a real service animal. They said well, she can’t be in here and we were asked to leave. I’m not sure yet if I am going to file a civil suit against them, but my rights were violated and denied services due to my disability. I am replying at the false allegations to my visit. No, the service did not stick to those defining questions. She asked me very condescendingly if she was a “REAL service dog”, at which I replied yes, I even told her about the heart condition. I also told her that I am a service dog trainer. So, I’m not sure where you got your information? But it was false. I STILL will not be patronizing there. Also, none of the 45 men that work in our department.
We went today. We were greeted when we came in. They weren’t busy. We sat down and then we’re ignored for 15 minutes. The waitress proceeded to talk to everyone but us just gossip and bs. The old couple behind us finally got the waitress’s attention and reported a hair in the lady’s omelette. They took it back and had dropped off a new one and in that entire time we were not acknowledged. No drink orders or anything. We got up and left. This was disappointing. I came in from Oklahoma and hyped this place up to my kids. I worked at the Gilmer location 15 years ago and was excited. I guess this place is under different management? Because this would not fly before. We drove 20 minutes one way out of our way.
This place is way over priced for the powder, dehydrated, freezer food you get from this place. Save your money and go to Texas RoadHouse you'll actually get your money's worth. I looked at the prices and my whole family was like no way they're ripping people off and then the food is only half decent because it's hot. The portions are small. You a small bowl that doesn't even equal out to a cup for a side. So maybe a scoop of a side not an actual adult size side. More for kids. To the manager because I seen you replied. They only come back because they're isn't very many places in town to eat other than Mexican. Not because they see effort, no sir it's all they got is the "instant food" being sold and it ain't Mexican. Like I said people can actually get better quality at an actual restaurant for the prices your charging. An the only reason you don't think it's constructive is because it's your money at risk not trying to better your prices to match your insta food plates.
Nasty! Non smokers beware! I should have turned around when I opened the door and got hit in the face withthe stench of cigarettes. Staff is nice enough, forgot part of my order, it didn't make up for it all with the food. Could not wait to get out of that place. It's 2019, you cater to less than 20% of the population by allowing smoking, you turn away the other 80% who don't. That half wall does nothing to block the smoke or smell. If having a cigarette with you're country fried steak is a "Texas tradion" this place is for you!
We use to eat here more often but the food was not good today. I ordered a bacon mushrooms burger and it was nast. I normally don't complain about food im not a very picky eater but it was horrible. Normally there food is better I will give them that. Other than the food service was nice we got seated quickly and our order came out fairly timed.
Walled in and right back out. The place was dingy and smelled musty not enough seating space. Last time I came in the food was pretty good and the service was also pretty good. But since I've grown my family from 3 to 5 I reckon my standard has changed. Note: Last time I visited I was also able to smoke inside. I've since quit smoking that may have contributed to my sense of smell.
I eat here all the time and food normally good however today I tried the 7oz sirloin and was very disappointed. When I got to work and looked my steak was raw. I called to tell them and was just told sorry I will let them know. It's sad when you pay what I paid for a 7oz steak and get raw food and just get an im sorry. I will never get the steak again and I highly recommend getting anything but the steak.
