First time coming here, the staff are very friendly and sweet as tea. The food is also grwleat, very excited to come back

Very nice tasty food and very fresh vegetables. They can improve on the clean up (tables)... but we loved the food.

We went on Sunday after church and were worried that due to lots of cars and dining room crowded, that food would take long, but it came out quickly! Have been to many McAlisters around the states and love that they are all consistently great!

We came the day after it opened, and let me tell you, the employees were amazing! Friendly, courteous and very fast! It got a bit busy a little after we arrived, but we've gone back since and it's still great! The food is always amazing and the tea is wonderful!

I've had sandwiches from the grandbury location and the Irving location on beltline..I've consistently found the grandbury location having better sandwiches. Update 5/13/2025..we dined in and a girl kept coming around asked if I needed my drink refilled and then took our plates after we were finished eating..she was very pleasant and very nice..so I had to ask her name..Jessica..I've been to the hurst and the irving place..neither 1 was as packed inside as the granbury place..best experience I've ever had at a mc calisters

I went with some friends and had lunch. They have been there before but, I never had. The French Dip sandwich was delicious and the waitress was very polite and had a pretty smile. I would definitely go back to the restaurant again.

Love the sandwiches, spuds, and tea. My kiddos love the Mac n' cheese/pizza kids meals. Their tea is the best. Check out the monthly tea pass. One of my favorite go to spots

Has the Best Reuben sandwich and the Peach flavored Tea is awesome. Very friendly Staff. Can't wait for the one to be built-in Stephenville TX. I have been to the one in Abilene and Granbury Texas.

Always had a great meal here and even when we have it delivered on Door Dash! My husband loves the King Club and I love the Southwestern Wrap!

This location has great food and a friendly staff. The best thing about our experience was Chrystal. It’s too bad there aren’t more employees around town that take care of their customers as well as she did.

Stopped here on the way home to Waco. The restaurant was clean, the service was outstanding and the food was great. If I had any complaint at all it would be that I wish McAlister's had Bleu Cheese dressing, but their Honey Mustard dressing is very good. And I love their iced tea!

I love their salads, fresh, flavorful, and filling. I'm a huge fan of their monthly Tea Pass option. All the sandwiches I've had are also tasty.

Great small place to have an evening meal. As an elderly person id rather visit after 2 p.m. It's less people and not as crowded. Nice and quiet at that time of the evening. Plenty of parking if you arrive after the noon rush. Colton and his team are great at being attentive to their customers. Great friendly atmosphere.

This establishment is one of the friendliest I have visited in a long time. Colton and his staff were great in assisting me with a large order for an event I hosted. They gave me sound advice to give me the best deal for my money and with the time being what are today, every bit helps. They had my order ready on time for pick up and the food was fresh and delicious. Lilly, was the sweetest with such an amazing attitude as she bought out my order with the big smile that really made my day! My event was a huge hit! Definitely coming back to this deli.

This is a very nice and appeared to be a brand new place. The sandwiches 🥪 were wonderful 😋 ( McAlisters Club with Mac and cheese 🧀), and the sweet 😋 tea 🍵 and coke really hit 😋 the spot. The staff were all super friendly ( Shelly) and the decor was really nice. The only thing I would suggest is to quit asking for a tip just making tip-flation and inflation that is destroying American families just that much harder... SAFE TRAVELS TO ALL!!!

I had a previous poor experience with a take out order. McAlister’s definitely got it right on the return visit. The food was great. The service was outstanding. They totally redeemed themselves and I will definitely be back!

My family and I really enjoyed trying McAlister's for the first time today. The chicken tortilla soup is a must try! We loved how many menu options they had to pick from and how fresh all of the ingredients were. We will definitely be back.

We love McAlister's Deli! I did an order for all five of us off of the app and went thru the drive thru to pick up the order. They were all so friendly and sweet! They also got all of our orders right. Everything tasted delicious. My favorite is their tortilla soup! It is so yummy! I am always impressed with their service and food. So happy they are here in Granbury!

I had one of their baked potatoes. It was ok. The toppings were good. The potato was over cooked.

Fanominal sandwiches and excellent soups. Surprisingly enough one of my favorites is the spud with the different meats added to it. Large & filling...

Didn't really care for the Mac n cheese. French dip was good. Didn't have any lids for the drinks.

Ordered a Ruben, got home and realized they swapped the corned beef with ham and was absolutely disgusted. Couldn’t eat any of it but I did contact McAlister’s after this review and they reimbursed me for my meal in points so I was able to get a new meal! Was actually very good and customer service here is definitely on point. Thank you! 😊

Second time in here. The girl that was taking orders should really find second gear. She took longer to make a tea and a lemonade that it took the kitchen to make our food. We almost left cause it took her so long to take orde and make drinks for the two couples in front of us. I don't see how it takes 10mins to perform a menial task. First time in was fantastic. Edit: this issues was resolved. We look forward returning.

This was our first time at a McAlisters and the food was surprisingly delicious. Although I think all food items have gotten ridiculously inflated, the prices here weren't too overly insane. The staff was happy and got the orders correct and delivered tableside quickly. I'd be happy coming here again.

I've been in the area twice for work and stopped here for lunch. Both times while trying to order there have been significant waits ordering, because they don't have a dedicated person working the counter.

Great food. Gets a bit chaotic at peak times. I recommend going to bit after or before lunch or dinner. Also best to sit at a table and order from your phone.

Great food but service was a bit bland. No greetings when we enter was rushed when ordering kinda seemed like an inconvenience for us to be there the lady that gave us our food when it was done was the only one with a great attitude.

New review getting ripped off charged for sides that come Meals as upgrade and when I ask for beef chili and get veggie chili and paying twice as much as normal I'll save my money and shop elsewhere.

I ordered a VERY LARGE order for the place I work for a manager meeting. The lady that answered the phone said "we probably can't deal with this lady she says she has a very large order for a funeral home" kinda made me offended. I continued on anyway explaining o work for the new Wiley Center next to but also affiliated with the funeral home as she handed the phone off to another person. This next lady on the phone proceeded to take my order. The price was great but when ordering salads I was told they do NOT have lettuce but for one salad. I almost cancelled the order then but proceeded and replaced the salads with a substitute. Lady did not really pay attention to my frustration with this but did explain their produce truck had not come. We again proceeded to order. The order once finished was correct and was good besides for not having lettuce on some of our food but having lettuce on a few of our sandwiches. It was very confusing. I do recommend this place just have to be patient with the rude attitude of the a certain lady not sure who and the lack of produce. Otherwise their were names on the bags which was fantastic for the large crowd we ordered for and price plus the cashier lady was very polite and helpful. We will eat here again.

Ordered two sandwiches tonight, one without tomatoes and one without cheese—both were WRONG. Staff was also paying more attention to their closing duties, two hours before closing, than they were helping customers.

Tried to call and place order twice no answer.

My baked potato had obviously been baking the entire day. It had hard crusty skin and a yellow interior. I should have sent it back when I saw it. So disappointing that you would serve this.

Food is good but ordering and getting the food is excruciating slow. Management not at all aware of what is happening. I paid already or would leave.

As friendly as the nice girl at the front was, she was totally clueless when it came to customer service. I had to wait 10 minutes for my tea….and I had to stand at the register for at least five minutes to even get the order for my food and tea in. She admitted she forgot about my tea, and then my friend who came with me waited 30 minutes for a sandwich and salad, only to be told her number didn’t even exist….guess who took her order. If you’re going to hire people in high school at least train them on customer service, the girl didn’t even say anything when she finally walked up to the register to take my order, she just stood there waiting for me to talk. I was so happy for a McAlisters to be in Granbury but it’s definitely not living up to the hype. I will say again, all the employees were very nice, but time management and service was good.

Why have the prices of kids meals tripled, while the quality of food, portion and ingredients gone so far down hill. Expensive for mediocre bland food.

One $20 meal that took 20 minutes to make. Not worth it!! Oh if I just want a famous tea please allow us to go through the drive thru.

We ordered online and unfortunately our salad had croutons on it... Usually no big deal but my wife has a gluten allergy and it clearly says no croutons on my receipt. She only got to eat half of her pick two and that isn't good.

If you've never been to McAlister's don't judge them based on the experience at this location. Try visiting the one in Cleburne. The food is great and so is the service. It seems this location is struggling to keep up with demand. I over heard many conversations tonight specifically about the long wait for online orders. I personally waited for an hour and 20 minutes for my online order only to settle for a refund because after waiting that long the manager told one of the workers it was going to be a while longer before they would prepare my food. I'm not sure if they are prioritizing dine in over pick ups/online orders or if it's a problem all around but right now is probably not the time to visit this location. It would be better to give this location a few months to let them figure out how to keep up with demand and then visit when the hype has died down. Hopefully they don't go out of business before then because I do really enjoy McAlister's Deli. I will say that the workers there were friendly and tried to be helpful. Update: I was contacted by someone higher up in the McAlister's hierarchy and was compensated for my bad experience. It was a fast turn around on the response and they tried to make the situation right. I appreciate their efforts and I hope this helps this location improve their service to the public. Update 02/20/22: since my first review I have ordered delivery from this location. The delivery service was a better experience and I would recommend that approach. I will visit this location once more in the future and update my review.

I placed a large order for pick up, to eat on my route as it was going to be my breakfast, lunch and dinner. My two sandwiches looked like they were done in a hurry, they were so messy. My salad had wilted lettuce all over the place, and hardly any chicken. And my king Angus sandwich looked like a regular sandwich not the king one. I was so disappointed in this order as I have ordered here before and everything tasted really good. But this time it was so bad. I don't know who made my order but it was bad. I don't knownif I even want to order there again.

What food I got that was correctly made was really good. But I ordered 3 different desserts that we didn't receive. Neither of my Kids got there sides with there kids meal. I ordered lunch and got a soup which was amazing and a bowl of fruit my fruit had fungi growing on it I called to let them know and let them make it right and the manager was nice and said she would make it right but still nothing! I love their food but I’ll reconsider going to Granbury location again

Mobile ordered a sandwich and when I arrived at the time I was supposed to according to the app my sandwich was soggy and cold. Literally couldn’t finish it because of how gross it was.

I have always loved eating at McAlister's Deli but not this one in Texas!!! They didn't have sweet tea, staff were rude. I didn't place my order, I just left.

We won't bother to come back. The cashier was not wearing gloves. Stuck his fingers inside the cups after adjusting his headset. Very unsanitary! Did not wear a face masks like all the other employees either.

I'm pretty sure the people on this town are all incompetent, from driving to reading an order. How hard is it to put soup in a bowl?????

Ordered lunch thru their website to be delivered. Got half of our order so we called in to get the rest. We were told to call back at 5 o clock and then was hung up on. Worst customer service there is!!!

Came in for my lunch break ordered a sandwich I'm waiting about 20 minutes i finally got my order ,as I was pulling out of the parking lot I noticed that they didn't give me my avocado nor mayonnaise. I had to turn right back around and go up there and get the forgotten items . went back into store spoke to an older lady and she helped me got the items that were missing I express to her that, I shouldn't have had to come back and get my extra items that they forgot all items should have been accounted for in the before order was picked up and as I was walking out she was screaming well have a good day like what kind of customer service is that !!! I was so embarrassed walking out because she was literally screaming and the restaurant was pretty full of customers I'm sorry but I'm a grown adult you can speak to me normal tone of voice

My husband and I stopped in McAlisters in Granbury for a quick dinner before an evening school event, but we were sadly disappointed. We came in at 5:35pm and saw that we could order on the app and have it brought to our table. We sat down, ordered on the app and waited. A few minutes later, the server brought our drink and said he would check on our order. He did not come back to give us the status, however he passed by at least twice, delivering food to other tables. The email confirmation said it would be ready at 5:47pm, which was when we asked about our order at the counter. (We had seen at least four orders served to people who came in after us.) The girl at the counter went to the kitchen to ask about our order and returned to say it hadn’t even been started. I told her we needed to be at school by 6:30 and could it be expedited? She returned to the kitchen where I heard the supervisor say, “We’re swamped and don’t have enough people. Tell them they’ll have to wait.” This, despite the fact that customers who arrived after us had already been served. No manager spoke with us and no one apologized for the poor service. At this point (6:00) I asked for a refund and we left. The poor customer service is very discouraging and the lack of professionalism on the part of the manager(s) is appalling. They clearly have no interest in establishing or preserving customer relations.

There were as many flies as customers. They never did our orders right. VERY pricey and scanty. We wanted to give them a try because we have placed delivery orders, which were good...however. this visit was bad enough we won't return, which saddens us.

How hard is it to make a freaking sandwich correctly? I went there about a week or so after you opened, and I ordered a custom turkey pepperjack with turkey, provolone cheese, spring mix, and bacon. I only received turkey and provolone on the sandwich. Tonight I decided to try again and see if y'all improved, my order pick up was at 6:20 PM, and I didn't recieve my order till about 6:55.

Well, we tried McAlister's Deli in Granbury again today... we ordered a Southwest Chicken Avocado salad and a Grilled Chicken sandwich with chips (take out). Got back home, opened our take out order..... no chips with the sandwich, no chicken on the salad! and no salad dressing for the salad! We called and spoke to the Manager....she was not very helpful. Last time we will go to McAlister's Deli in Granbury. Our second negative experience with this location.

Ordered food at the counter tonight and then drove around and picked it up at the window. When I got home the order was missing food items. Called them and they said I should drive back. I said no and just refund the item onto my credit card. They said they did not know how to do that. This is a dishonest business. Don’t go there.

Went there this past weekend, was severly disappointed. How hard is it to make a sandwich. I ordered a Club sandwich but it was served with a single slice of turkey and single slice of ham. What a joke but trend for Granbury. And definitely not a Jason's Deli. I was hopeful a good sandwich shop had opened in Granbury but was disappointed. I also ordered a baked potato with extra butter, only got a 1 small pat of butter ... won't be returning to this place. I dont believe 3.9 rating anyone I have spoken to this place is also disappointed.

Waited at the drive thru to check In For my order. NO ONE checked me in at the drive thru. I drove up to the window where I was ignored for several minutes. I’m currently sitting at the window listening to them gossip and smirking at my family while we wait. I thought it was due to being understaffed but clearly they have time to laugh and gossip.

Sat in the pick up line for 30+ min after my pick up time and was given food that was cold and made incorrectly. Had to go inside and wait for someone to a knowledge me, was then ignored for 15 asked what I needed explained the situation, and then brought the wrong sandwich again! didn’t get my correct food till 58minutes after it was supposed to be ready for pick up.

Was really wanting a Rueben sandwich, sandwich came with plenty of meat, but there was no sour kraut on it at all! And the meal did not come with a dill pickle! Would not recommend this location at all!!!

The sandwich was soggy way to expensive. Over 30.00 for2. Mom ask for half we got a whole. The chicken tortilla soup had no chicken nor tortilla straps in it tea was bitter will not go back should of stuck with Subway. BIG THUMBS DOWN.

Well I just got Food poisoning. After ordering my food I stood by the counter watching my food be prepared. I noticed that none of the employees wore gloves to prepare my food. One employee walked into work put down her bag and immediately started working without washing her hands. Something told me not to eat my sandwich and much to my dismay I did. A few moments after finishing my meal I got sick to my stomach and eventually vomited for 5min straight. I will never eat here again.

Orderd, waited 12 minutes to be told we don't have salamie anymore. Refunded $.

Friday stopped and got a to go pick 2. BLT was great. my salad was dead. totally disappointed, lettuce was that munchies brown stuff. Refrigerator Today smells like dead strawberry salad. yik!

McAlister’s has dropped the bar on the quality of their salads. I’m not sure who eats the core of the salad and where they got their chicken. Very disappointed.

*Second update* Came in again for lunch and as I was reading my bible an employee came to me and started talking to me about my bible just before the manager pulled him to the side and started talking to him seemingly upset about him speaking to me for some reason. I enjoy when people talk to me about the bible or my faith but I feel sad that I cant go to a restaurant where employees are being barred from talking to customers about something protected from discrimination by federal law. Slow service and serves old food or poorly made sandwiches. *Update* Came in and got it replaced, food was much better than yesterday. Though after multiple employees approached me while I was studying for a test, the store manager came out and accused me of having a motive for talking to the employees who approached me first and when I told her no, she said I was no man of God (I was also studying my Bible at that moment), and that I wasn't telling her the truth about having ulterior motives. I insisted that I was speaking the truth and yet she continued accusing me of ulterior motives for talking to employees that approached me. She told me she wasn't born yesterday, to which I told her I never believed that, and continued saying I was lying as she walked away. Never be afraid to complain about bad service, even if the employees go out of their way to harass you for complaining.

I lived in lubbock and was happy to see this here I walked in it was small but that's OK ordered I was told no soda that wierd and was told they should really put a sign up but they didn't my husband had to walk next door because I ordered water and they didn't have bottled water either. Now your menue by the door says fountain drinks. When the food came out it was cold and my sandwich was soggy on the bottom from all the oil put on it. This is a one done.

I’ve been loving this place since I moved here but today, I found two piece of plastic in my chicken and dumpling soup! How is this possible?

McAlister’s has dropped the bar on the quality of their salads. I’m not sure who eats the core of the salad and where they got their chicken. Very disappointed.

*Second update* Came in again for lunch and as I was reading my bible an employee came to me and started talking to me about my bible just before the manager pulled him to the side and started talking to him seemingly upset about him speaking to me for some reason. I enjoy when people talk to me about the bible or my faith but I feel sad that I cant go to a restaurant where employees are being barred from talking to customers about something protected from discrimination by federal law. Slow service and serves old food or poorly made sandwiches. *Update* Came in and got it replaced, food was much better than yesterday. Though after multiple employees approached me while I was studying for a test, the store manager came out and accused me of having a motive for talking to the employees who approached me first and when I told her no, she said I was no man of God (I was also studying my Bible at that moment), and that I wasn't telling her the truth about having ulterior motives. I insisted that I was speaking the truth and yet she continued accusing me of ulterior motives for talking to employees that approached me. She told me she wasn't born yesterday, to which I told her I never believed that, and continued saying I was lying as she walked away. Never be afraid to complain about bad service, even if the employees go out of their way to harass you for complaining.

I lived in lubbock and was happy to see this here I walked in it was small but that's OK ordered I was told no soda that wierd and was told they should really put a sign up but they didn't my husband had to walk next door because I ordered water and they didn't have bottled water either. This was the worst food I’ve had from McAlisters. My husband didn’t even receive his dressing for his salad, they gave him the wrong sandwich, my wrap was so hard it felt like it was cutting my lip every time I took a bite. I also ordered and paid for a side of ranch that I did not receive! This was the worst experience I’ve had!

Not at all impressed, came in for. Ruben, very disappointed… couldn’t taste any sauerkraut or any sauce… didn’t think you could ruin a Ruben… we won’t come back. We had to have the girl at the register repeat everything 2 or 3 times we couldn’t understand her and the workers in the back were very unkept…. Besides how long it took to get our order
