We stopped here on our way to Fort Worth. It can be a little hard to spot when the lot is full of semi trucks since the restaurant sits toward the back. The place was very clean, the service was great, and the food was good. Prices were a bit higher than comparable restaurants in Austin, but overall we had a good experience and would recommend it.
Truck parking! 👍🏻 First I want to say that Gloria was a great waitress! 2nd I ordered the Quesabirria (3 taco meal). I also ordered the queso and mixed the salsa with it and dipped the tacos in it after I inserted the onions and cilantro in them! Absolutely amazing!!! 🤤
Totally empty for a Saturday afternoon. Comparable prices to the local sit down Mexican restaurants in town. The chips and salsa are wonderful. The salsa has a little kick to it if you aren't big on heat. They do have an avocado salsa they brought with dinner that is even hotter, that I think would be great with the chips. I had the Torta with Carne Asada. It was a fair price for it and was about as good as most any other place that serves Tortas. I would suggest they could make some of their items more unique to set themselves apart from the local competition.
As a trucker this place is the spot. Plenty of parking but the best part is the food I finished all my food they have great food and great prices. Will definitely be coming back Hockley TX

This was a great place for our group to have breakfast. Good wholesome food at good prices. We were there on a Saturday morning, and there was plenty of seating. The orders came quickly and correct. There is plenty of big rig parking.
awesome food! Carne Guisada was deliciously flavorful. The atmosphere is family-friendly. For 2 people, it was $33.00, so it was reasonably priced. Clean bathroom. Friendly staff is kind of in the back hidden but worth it. A must try
Great place for Mexican food! First time eating there was during the freeze of 2021. Food ordered was delicious then as it is now. I would highly recommend this location. Great for those passing thru Hillsboro for a great meal carne guisada plate and the flauta taco plate....delicious !! Recently came to eat here and my daughter ordered the barbacoa burrito.....and it was not pleasant. She said it tasted spoiled or not good, I got a taste of it and she was correct. I asked her if she wanted to order something else and she said no. So not sure what happened to that meat but it was not good. The other 2 plates, cheese enchiladas were great! Pictures are in a different posting. Returned again on 8/29 and took another person. They ordered the beef quesadilla but the tortilla was soft not toasty. He didn't want to complain about it cause he was hungry but it did need to be toasted.
One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Their food is all amazing and the employees are great too. I recommend using cash, since they charge a 3.5% fee for card transactions, but the food is authentic and priced appropriately.
I love the food. Been twice and so far it has not disappointed. It's fast service and nice staff. We usually go on lunch breaks and we have more than enough time to enjoy.
First, good food and friendly staff = 5 stars. I had the most expensive dinner at $21, and buddy it was great. Served in a bowl that stayed hot, it was awesome. Ate breakfast too, after spending a trucker night in the parking lot and it was good. Potatoes were fried on a griddle, not deep fried, skirt steak was great, nopolitos are good. Not everything is karen-perfect (skip the bacon) but it is a real deal.
Large menu selection, very clean, nice and friendly staff, and REALLY good food! It's worth repeating... REALLY good food! The grilled meat selections are exceptionally tender, especially the chicken. This is a little tucked in off the access road so a slightly hidden treasure but worth watching out for if you are in the area.
Best Mexican restaurant in the area! You will not find better tacos or enchiladas anywhere else. This is the go-to restaurant for me and my wife. They have good prices, and a large variety on the menu! Ask for the "bottle of green sauce" to go with your tacos. I don't know what it is, but it's awesome! (Don't let the tractor-trailer parking out front throw you off, this is a nice place to go for dinner.)
El Taco Jalisco is an amazing authentic Mexican Food place. They have truck parking and their tacos/chips are amazing! The sauces are great too but a bit too spicy. It took them a really long time to prepare our order of 3 tacos but they were nice and offered us a free drink because of the long wait.
We were traveling through and stopped here for dinner. So glad we did! Great homestyle Mexican food 🌮 made like Momma does it! The Tortilla Soup 🍜 is amazing and so is the Carne Guisada! They're open till 10pm so if you're feelin' the need for fantastic 🌯Mexican food this is your place.

Overall: Lots of good with some not so good. Everything was hot and tasty enough at a decent enough price. Plus, everywhere inside was nice, clean, and well-maintained. :-) Seasoning and flavor was a mixed bag: Great in the mocajete and default salsa, but the spinach enchiladas had way too little for me *even though* I asked for extra extra extra of any seasonings normally used in it plus much garlic, cilantro, onion, & chile. :-| --Instead, I received a small side bowl of these, minus garlic, rather than cooked in with the food. Loved the tractor-trailer parking! Used it. :-) Our waitstaff? Nice enough and great at the very beginning, but quite oddly under-attentive after that compared to most other restaurants. :-| (When: Sunday around Noon.)
Stopped here for dinner on way back to Dallas. The food tasted good. Nice ambiance. Good crowd. Quick service and friendly staff. Ample parking space and they even have a truck parking space too.
We eat here at least once a month and we always have enjoyed good food and good service. I ordered the large bowl of menudo for lunch. It arrived on time, bowl full and piping hot. Fresh cilantro, onions, and peppers chopped and on a plate ready for me to season my order. We also had the tamale plate. But it appeared to be just a bit under cooked as the masa was slightly soft, perhaps a few more minutes in the steamer was of sufficed.

store bought tortillas for a large burrito other tacos where extra small usually a person orders 2 tacos and are full but here you get a 2 bite taco and on to the next and your still hungry. taco prices are to high for such small portions and My beef fajita taco was 40 percent onion so never again

Worst place to have Mexican food. Definitely not authentic. Their beans, nopales and enchilada sauce was from a can and tortillas from a package, not homemade. Very over priced. Not worth it at all…
The food is delicious and almost all the time fresh, but the portion is just very little and not right. I have address it to the waitress.
Not sure what meat was in my taco. The margaritas had a carbon drink in it. This is more on a cheap truck stop with showers than restaurant.
