Came in for dine in so I can relax from the hectic day I'm having and heat. Noticed the staff wearing yellow safety vest which is different but not bad. The staff for this place were all very nice, polite and uplifting. Very attentive and almost made me forget it's a fast food place. I very much enjoyed my time here and I never leave a review for fast food places but this location was great. The food was also hot, good and fresh. It actually changed my perspective of a bad day to a good one. Thanks to a wonderful staff im wlling to drive out of my way to go back to this location.
I've never had a bad experience at this location. It's always clean and the customer service is amazing. One employee stood out,Pearl was very nice and gave great customer service. She is the prime example of what alot of places lack. She set the bar high with her great service. Keep up the great work Pearl!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Jessica (general manager) was so sweet and delightful. We mistakenly ordered wrong and she had nothing but a smile on her face and gladly fixed it for us. She provided nothing but helpfulness and kindness to our order. Definitely coming again:)
Great service. I want around 2pm and the staff was very friendly and actually checked to see how I was, the lady offered to give me a refill. Never had service like this at McDonalds.

I really enjoyed this McDonald's. I was there w my great grandson. My order was complete unlike the one close to my house. I'd rather go an extra mile and get good service. The gentleman brought everything to the kid area and I didn't have to get up and get what was forgotten; i.e chocolate milk, straw, etc. I rate this place a "10."
The cashier, Laura, was very helpful. I had an issue with the self order kiosk and she was able to help me and take my order. She is very knowledgeable and kind. Definitely will come back because of her customer service.

We came here today after a day out at the Japanese Tea Gardens. Patricia was our cashier and took our order. She was amazinly polite and made friendly conversation right away. Also asked about the rest of our day. Patricia is the type of person that every resturaunt needs to have right up front. Definitely coming back. Thanks Patricia!!!
Fresh food and it was a quick order in the driver through
Only 2 employees working. Had run out of pretty much half of what we ordered. Jacob was very patient and apologetic with an awesome attitude and we left with a smile. Don't know if he was the manager but he's definitely a guy I would want to handle any "not so great" situations. In fact with the position he was left in to work and what he had to work with, I commend him and the cook that stayed and worked with him no matter how many cars were in line with grumpy & irritated people! Tks to you both!
I ordered some food today, and let me tell you, when I picked up curbside, my food was warm and did not have to wait long. The most enjoyable part was the customer service, came and brought me my food, Hennessey she was very professional, and her whole vibe and energy was exactly what employers need.

Really like this McDonald’s! The kids’ play area is super spacious, and the little ones had so much fun. What’s especially convenient is that there’s a restroom inside the play area—super helpful when you’re with kids. The overall environment is nice too. It’s a great spot to grab a meal and let the kids play a bit.

He greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel like a valued guest, not just another customer. To top it all off, Trevor even surprised me with a free cookie, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. It’s the little things like this that really make a difference and brighten someone’s day. You can tell Trevor takes pride in what he does, and it shows. McDonald’s is lucky to have someone like him on their team. I’ll definitely be coming back — great job, Trevor!
Kiosk dont work, and they take a little long on food orders
Service seems nice although they can be mute at sometimes, long time waiting on orders, usually out of the limited or special foods and treats.
They always make my coffee just the way i like it even though i order it different. The morning crew seems moreno top of it then the afternoon team tho but still very good to a lot of other locations. I drive a lot all over the city and in other local cities as well so i’ve been to a lot of locations. Great job!
This McDonald's stepped up thwir game . Almost about a year ago they seemed to take long and were rude. But now they are fast, helpful and nice. Maybe they got rid of the rude people but the atmosphere definitely has changed, and it seems to be the best McDonald's. I only ever got my food a little over cooked once.
It was about 10 minutes after 6 a.m. when I walked in. My order was made promptly and given to me in less than 3 minutes. That's fast.

When another McDonald’s chose to block the drive thru and lock the dining room instead of do their jobs, I drove to this location. I was very tired bc my husband had surgery and has had some rough nights, which means I’ve had some rough nights. I had been planning to get burgers and nuggets when I left the house but do to the unexpected weirdness at the wurzbach McDonald’s, by the time I got to this one, breakfast was the only option. The combo of exhaustion and change of plans had my brain scrambled and I made a mess while ordering, getting a few things wrong. The young man working the register was very patient and sweet while helping me straighten it out once I drove forward. The food was good too.
Pros: clean, super nice manager and helpful staff, upgraded inside. Great play area for kids with lots of seating. Cons: if your child is under 33 inches, they may struggle to play on the play structure. The steps are just high enough to only allow children ages over 4 to play. Probably on purpose. They do have a smaller play structure but my 3 year old found it meh.
It's a regular McDonald's but they have 3 large, accessable computers to make your own build a burger which is pretty cool and pick out your order before you go to the register. Most McDonald's don't have that! It's kinda generic on the inside- nothing special but the workers are friendly.

It's alright. But has its moments when it is great! I would just always always always check your bag before you leave. There's nothing worse than that one time you don't check your food is missing something. It happens to me often. My usual go to this the double cheese and a hot n spice. The first time I tried the spice Buffalo sauce with the nuggets I changed my go to. I love that sauce!

Mind u they wr sittn on the counter, she turned arnd & left em thr & went 2fix the dr dash bags. After 5mnt's he cms back & say I nd my drinks & they're sittn rt thr. He cld'v wlkd & got em & bn gone. The manager wsn't no help as he left & went got lunch & ddn't offer no help up front. My food was gd & hot tho.
Very slow drive thru!!! Then to top it off our French fries were not fresh. Bad business when that's what some parents eat from there. Then to top it off. They were out of ALL sodas!!! I asked if we could get a large French fry since we couldn't get a drink & was told no.. & was sooo charged the full amount of the meal. With a water for the drink & not a bottled water.
Way too slow to even take an order at 10:35pm. They don’t have a good system down to have window and cook take care of there own half of the kitchen. Needs to be trained properly on how to multitask.
Great place to stop by when you have to be at work and your running a little late. Thie always get it done quick.
"It's correct, I checked. They just put the wrong wrapper on it." Clearly this is not a McGriddle, but I'm not surprised as McDonalds consistently gets orders wrong at nearly any location I've tried. I mean no ill will to the workers, but just a reminder to temper your expectations when dealing with this food chain.
I love mcdonalds and go there frequently but there was a black guy woth ropes for hair that honistly was extremly rude and condescending with how he spoke to me when I asked for sauce when I pulled to the window his response was you do know it easier if you ask for sauce at the speaker we don't charge for it. Like cmon man no shit I did ask for sauce at the speaker its not my fault if they didn't put it on the ticket. Its not ok to talk to customers with such a condescending tone or with that kind of attitude
I usually swing by McDonald's expecting a quick bite, but lately the drive-thru feels more like a waiting room. I get that things happen, staffing issues, big orders but when fast food turns into slow torture, it’s hard not to feel frustrated. Hope they can speed things up soon, because the fries are only worth it when they’re hot and fresh.
The floors were very dirty and sticky when I went because they do not have enough people I suppose to make sure that if a drink is spilled, the spill stays there too long and it gets tracked all over the rest of the restaurant. The table we sat in was dirty with spills and on one had cleaned it up we ended up cleaning it. When you get people coming and going you really have to keep up with those things.
This location is always slow at night but it's just been getting worse. 40 minutes at the intercom and all I hear from it is a giggle, more people leave the line than actually get their orders, it's unacceptable, and when you do finally get the order, half the time it's usually missing something, the only solice is that they usually do a good job cooking the food you get. The inside is usually fine but the lot around it is always grungy and the outside lamps should come with a seizure warning.
If this location is always this busy in th evening and at night why don’t they offer the curbside option or have things running more smoothly? I was in the drive through which was taking a bit long so I decided to go ahead and place order on the app because it asked me what option I wanted and I said curbside sooooo it asked me my spot number and I enetered it. The app then stated that curbside was not available at this location 😡 so I had to get back into the line and be even further behind then I was……it is now taking SO long that My entire family has fallen asleep in the vehicle and I’ve turned off the truck to save fuel. Yes…..it’s taking that long, had I not already paid I would leave! Fix the app? Have more people working? Offer curbside to speed things up? Offer free extras when orders take over a reasonable amount of time? Not FAST food…..defeated the purpose…..Exhausted…..hungry……and beyond flustered.
I placed an order on the app around 11:30 mind u my husbands car broke down down the street as we were on our way to get it. So we walked the driveway to pick up my order. My husband speaks Spanish no English whatsoever and the lady was just being very rude and didn't want to give us our food. And as soon as she did give us our food we were missing out chicken nuggets. I'm very disappointed in this location I've been coming here since childhood and it feels like my husband was racially profiled
I stopped by today and ordered a McChicken and a Double Cheeseburger. When I opened the Double Cheeseburger, it was cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted… how is that even possible? I’m extremely disappointed with this location. Serving cold food is unacceptable. Get it together.
Guy totally ignored me. After waiting 10 minutes I went to the counter and saw my food sitting there getting cold. He finally came to the counter I asked for my food sitting there and the Dr Pepper that went with it. He came back with 2 drinks neither one was a Dr Pepper. I finally got my order and needless to say it was cold. Not going back!
I have been here twice and I only had a quarter pounder meal and both times they have made me wait over 20 minutes when there was no one else in line. I would not go here, it is not fast food. It is slow food
They stand around more than they work and they take their SWEET time giving you your order. It’s ridiculous and there’s a worker who’s on the register who acts like he doesn’t know what’s going on every time I come in. They need to either get better workers or just close down this specific location.
There was a hair in my food that was a different color than mine or anyone in my house so not mine. They also gave me regular coke instead of diet - if my husband didn’t catch that it was regular then I would have suffered serious physical consequences due to an illness I have. It’s hard to tell the difference in taste for many people so this is a big screw up.
This was supposed to be a pick up order I ordered and paid online 15 minutes prior to arriving I clicked I am here 5 minutes later we went into the restaurant and sat at a table I then approached the counter and inquired about my order was told they are preparing it now. When we got the order the Carmel Frappe I ordered was not available I have to choose something else then upon opening our sausage mc griddles which I paid extra to get cheese on had no cheese on them the hash brown 1 per pack for over 2 dollars were not even close to being warm. 2 drinks 2 hash browns and 3 mc griddles coste over 30 dollars for cold food and a very dismissing attitude by the staff. Having been a Breakfast cook at 3 Different McDonald's I know that they are not following the instructional videos RE. Food Quality. Customer Relations. ECT. I am seriously disappointed with this McDonald's I think I would be better off driving to I10 and Wurzbac where they treat customers with proper respect and strive to make sure you enjoy your meal.

Becky gave rude customer service. Called because my food order came out wrong. I asked the person on the phone who I was speaking to on the phone. She didn’t respond so I asked again and she responded who’s asking then she hung up on me. Had to call back and the manager Gerald answered and apologized on her behalf. It’s just sad that they have employees like that working here.

I came in before work to order a medium iced mocha, when I got to the window I realized it was a small so I asked if I could get a medium. They said that I in fact did have a medium cup when the size highlighted on the cup was small . They then held it to what they was an obvious kids cup and told me that was their small size and I had a medium. When I told them the size on the cup said small they didn’t seem to care .
Got kicked out of restaurant for voicing my complaints to store managers boss. Complaints had to do with issues of customer service. I regular this mcdonalds because it is closest to me. Unfortunately, because I frequent here so often, bad experiences happen often as well. Due to having frequent issues, caused by frequent mistakes or poor service, I was told by the store managers boss that I was the problem. That the reason I had so many issues is because I'm just unhappy with everything and I can't be pleased. I have had great service and food there and have had no issue, but rather than think the employees are making frequent mistakes, she blames me for having any complaint to begin with. She says they can't make me happy and tells me to go to a different store instead. Rather than be receptive to my complaints and suggestions, she avoids any wrong doings and makes my complaint personal attacks on the store? I really don't understand. what I do understand is that the regular manager that had a problem with me calling out their poor customer service and food practices, talked to the area manager about me. In turn the area manager approached me to talk already aggressive and defensive. Believing what the manager told her fully over anything I had to say. I was in the wrong and they did nothing. Sad thing is, after making a complaint to the company, I found out that my complaint goes to that area manager anyway. They arent going to do a thing about it, and I am no longer welcome in their store because they don't like hearing that they are at fault.
I would avoid this location at all cost on Sunday, August 4 of 2024 at 9:20 PM. The manager was made aware that the order was incorrect when I return to the location to pick the food up the manager, then told me that they could only correct one item, it took 10 minutes of back-and-forth to solve the problem as well as there were four other guest in the dining room who needed to get their orders fixed as well

I was I. The drive through for 30mins. Couldn’t leave because I was stuck between two cars. This drive thru is the worst. This is the second time in a week that the wait has been crazy long for “fast-food!”
This is by far has to be the worst experience I've had in any establishment. The lines at the drive through were extremely long, and all I wanted to do was pick up an order at the drive through from DOOR DASH, because they told me I had to go through the window to pick up the order when I spoke to the employee on the phone. I waited for 25 minutes once there were 3 cars in front me me. I witnessed the employees play around with some random people at the door not opening the door on them and having some laughs, and not seeming to care how long the lines were. The lines stopped moving for 20 minutes, and all 9 cars left waiting drove off after not being attended. I wanted to complete my delivery one way or another or it would affect my performance on my job as a door dash driver. I waited at the window and saw the bags of orders that were taped up for door dash. The employees inside simply stood around not doing anything, saw me trying to communicate with them, and simply smiled that they couldn't do anything. They were in no hurry to do anything but talk with one another, and so I left, having to cancel my order, affecting my performance on door dash that could have me terminated completely. All because those three employees decided to stand and talk
Big fail this morning. They forgot the sausage on my sausage and egg biscuit.
This is possibly the slowest McDonald's I've been to. First time I went there it was a ten minute wait, gave it a chance again today and I can confirm this store is incredibly slow. 20 minutes for a happy meal and a medium fry. No apologies, no excuse, just rude customer service and terrible management. I should be able to get a refund on having to wait and deal with bad employees. I pay to get my food fast. It's a fast food restaurant, if I wanted to wait for my meal to come out I'd go to a sit down restaurant.
Started off in line since the app isn’t always easy to use…..was taking forever to even move so I figured give the app a try as it offered curbside as an option. I made the order but pay and it asked me to enter my spot number. I pulled into a spot and entered it as asked to which it came back stating curbside is not available….so I had to get back into the line again and be further behind than before. I ended up turning my vehicle off at least 5x while in the line because it is taking that long for them to get orders out. I just do not understand how such a big chain can be so very slow. Fast food? Not at all…. At least the crying hungry kids have now fallen asleep. Pull up y to the first window where I am a receipt with no smile no greeting no words spoken. At the window so awkwardly long that the employee backed up as to stay behind the wall and not have to keep making eye contact. If I hadn’t already paid for my food I would have been out of here 30 minutes ago. This defeated the purpose of paying for “FAST food” it took 33 minutes from the time they asked me for my code to the time I got my food. So it was as even longer that I was in line out of line for curbside and back in line. I asked for the cookie for using the dumb app and asked for an extra which they wouldn’t give me 🙄 the young man at least smiled and confirmed the order name. Do companies still care at all about customer experience?
Stayed in the drive through for 20min and the fries were still stale. Smh. This was my only time for lunch and I got 15 dollars worth of inedible trash.

They always mess up. I bought large fries which were only filled half way and the five sauces I paid for weren’t in the bag. The only reason I went to that location was that I needed something from the Heb down the block. I get its fast food but c,mon. Y’all have “slow” employees. The one on Fredericksburg road does a pretty good job every time. Shout out to them. y’all are trash.
Sure, it was busy. So, as I wait in the Drivethru, I order online. I place my order with 3 cars in front of me before I get to the place to order. I tell them my code, and I drive around. Get a free cookie. When I get to the window, he asks me to drive forward to spot 11 to wait. The car behind gets spot 12. 3 cars get their stuff. Spot 12 gets their stuff. 3 more cars get their stuff. I call. It’s been 30 minutes since the order and over 20 in spot 11. Get the guy on the phone, he immediately walks me my stuff and says “here”. No apology for the delay. Food is already cold…and one thing I got was a fish sandwich. Cold fish sandwich ain’t the best.
Seriously the worst McDonalds. Super slow, wrong orders. I live right next to it and come here trying to always give them a second try. There is about 10 people in the kitchen, automated machines, assembly lines to make the burgers quickly and these people will seriously make you wait 25 minutes in the lobby for your order. It’s ridiculous. I used to work here before all this lack of work ethics and automated machines and we got all our customers out in less than 5 minutes each. Don’t waste your money here. They don’t care and they don’t care to make it better. They are lazy and lack work ethics even when the machines pretty much do all their work. It’s extremely lame.
Very unhappy with this location I asked for fresh fries and nuggets and I got cold food… They didn’t give me a receipt and when I tried to call the McDonald’s it said it was outta service… Won’t be eating at this McDonald’s again!!!!!!
It's crazy that a meal and an extra drink is 20 dollars but to have 4 cars waiting on the side for drive thru orders and then park more on the other side of the building in mobile order spots. They make their times look good by doing this but we are the ones suffering i know that I'm not going to make a difference but you can definitely bet I will not go to this McDonald's or any McDonald's again on top of this they gave my order to the wrong person so I had to wait even longer

I waited 10 minutes for the person to order in front of me and ten minutes more for me to order. There were 2 people ahead of me for 10 minutes. So I finally placed my order after 15-20 min with only 1 person in front of me. I only order a Quarter pounder when I get McDonald’s. I don’t know what they gave me but it was not the right Patty. It was the thinnest quarter pounder patty I’ve ever seen. After waiting at the ordering microphone menu for 10 minutes, I ordered a quarter pounder with large fries. No one is as in front of me. They just were holding cars up. Ordering and serving 1 at a time. I’ve never had soggier fries at a McDonald’s in my life. Wrong patty. Soggy fries. Waited 20 minutes…never coming back here again
The employees are always moody. When you ask for help, they act like they don't hear you. & They take forever to make a simple order 🙄. I only go because my kids love McDonald's. & No I should not have to go to another one, when this 1 is down the street. The employees just need to do better.
Worst experience by far. I’ve been coming here for over a year since I’ve moved to this side of town. And I’ve never had a bad experience until now. Was missing a single chocolate milk from my order on curbside. I went inside to ask for it and was told to wait due to current customers in line. Ok understood. Stood for 10 minutes for a single chocolate milk. And after employee was done with customers she looks at me walks away and goes about her business completely ignoring the fact that I’m trying to wave her down. I had to walk out get in my car and go through drive window. Shame on you lady. And when I asked the window employee about who was working the front he mentioned you were a manger. Just Wow! I hope you do better! That wasn’t very kind of you and I will never be back due to this.
Obviously, they don’t check their order before they give it to DoorDash poor service
Food was good service was good but i bought a whole number 1 and a mc double and got litterly no monopoly pieces 😒
I’m not one to write reviews like ever but this restaurant absolutely needed it. This was by far the worst Mcdonald’s in San Antonio. I ordered 5 things at the self order kiosk but only had cash so I went to the register. They had me waiting 25 minutes and no one even bothered checking in and helping me so technically my order couldn’t be placed yet. There was another lady who seemed annoyed that a 20 piece chicken nugget order that she ordered was taking more than an hour and when she complained not a single worker minded her not tried to help her. I understand her frustration. She asked a worker and he just ignored her. Won’t be coming back here again. The whole place is ran by teenagers who can’t do their jobs properly.
Absolutely disgusting experience. We ordered breakfast via curbside pickup and the food was inedible. The sandwiches had a foul smell, one was burnt to a crisp, and the rest were cold and stale. Even the hash browns were cold and tasted terrible. We ended up throwing the entire meal away. A total waste of money—we won't be back.
This was one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve ever had. I placed a $25 mobile order and went to the restaurant to pick it up. The drive-thru was completely jammed, cars were stuck and not moving at all, and the restaurant was not taking any orders. No staff member was responding or managing the situation. To avoid the chaos, I switched my order to curbside pickup and waited for over ONE HOUR. No food. No update. No employee came out. Zero communication. After leaving and going home, the app suddenly showed my order as “available”, so I drove back to the restaurant. Guess what? Same disaster again. Drive-thru still blocked, no response at the main door, no response through curbside, and no accountability from anyone inside. In the end, I never received my food and my money was taken. Completely unacceptable. This location shows total mismanagement, no customer service, and no respect for people’s time or money.
Placed a curbside ordered once I arrived I checked in and waited 15 min I received a message that said food was on its way. By now I had been waiting 25 min never got it so I went inside and let them know, one of the employees checked and said they were working on it. Waited another 10 minutes and nothing so just told another employee to cancel my order. Manager came and they couldn’t even find my order. It’s ridiculous. A lot of other customers that were waiting at curbside had to go in to get their food.
I ordered a doordash and waited an hour. The delivery guy kept saying he was waiting for the order. I called the store to ask where my order was, and the night shift manager answered. Oh my god, how rude and unhelpful the response was! The store manager didn't know anything about my order, hahaha! He went on to say, "I just arrived and I don't know anything."
Went through drive thru to grab an order late at night as a quick dinner. Went through the drive thru as it was the only option, recieved my drink and was told to pull forward. Pulled forward and waited for a while until another customer told me that I had to stay at the window. Already frustrating, but Went back through the line (at this point I would've been done with my food and sleeping for work the next day). Whatever, was patient and waited through the line until I finally got to the window again because they arent allowed to go outside at night. Understandable, trying to keep employees safe which i can respect. Grabbed my food and left in a hurry, as I was very tired and wanted to get home to sleep for work the next day. Got home and as I was eating, I realized I was missing my fries for the order I waited 30+ minutes for in a relatively short drive thru line. I assume they put fries in there at one point and gave them to another customer instead while they were still warm because there were a few scattered in the bag. I'd be cool with that if they actually replaced the fries after, but they never did. Got home to some cold food and instead of fries, got an extra cookie. I can tell they tried their best for me to leave as a happy customer, but unfortunately was unsuccessful :/ I hope the employee's nights went better than mine because it's apparent they were trying. I think the team may need a LOT of work on communication and teamwork.
The staff was nice but the wait was ridiculous. We were told to pull to the side and they would bring out our order. Two happy meals. I had to call twice to inquire about our orders. Finally 18 minutes later and it was incorrect. Pickles in a burger when we had asked for none. Ranch dressing dip in both orders when my grandson only asked for ketchup. I will not be returning to this McD.
If I can get this location no stars I would. Ordered at the kiosk and didn't get a receipt. Let the cashier know she just rolled her eyes. Waited forever for two Happy meals. Ask the cashier about my order. The cashier said you will get your order when they give me your order. Waited for another 10 minutes. Ask for my order again. The cashier ignored me and kept helping other people. Ask a different employee about my order. That employee had no idea what was happening. Waited another 5 minutes watching the cashier slam drinks in the back. Finally got my order after 35 minutes. By the way the rude cashier at this location's name is Patti C. I cannot believe how rude Patti was. Never coming back to this location ever. I do not recommend this location to anybody. Y'all need to fire Patti C.
