I’m vegetarian so sometimes it’s a little harder to go out to eat nowadays due to limited options. But I felt adventurous and had the Vegan potato with no jalapeños. It was so fire 🔥!!! I didn’t pay a whole lot for my meal too. Which, as we all know is big on going out right now. It was a lot of good for $9 & some change. Hands down great food, great options, awesome atmosphere and friendly staff. 100% love this place!

Went here with a group of people for my daughters parkour class. The instructor recommended it, so we tried it. I had the massive loaded 🥔 potato with brisket....... wow!!!! It was amazing! I'll definitely be going back to try each and every one of the loaded potatoes except I probably won't have the vegan one. Great job guys n gals!!! I'll be back soon!

1st visit-Precious place!- food was amazing! I had a bacon ranch chic salad sandwich with blue jack cheese, and basil soups (Mondayspecial). Though inside was delightful and has books to read, I sat outside to enjoy and equally cozy environment on the square- I'll be back😀

Downtown D'Lites is best cafe in Kilgore, Texas! This family owned restaurant offers homemade breads and fresh ingredients! I love to come here on my lunch break to pick up a healthy salad.

I stopped in for a late to go lunch to take back to my office. I've eaten here several times with friends and get a baked potato or soup and sandwich. I saw the special and thought that would be perfect for a late lunch. I was not disappointed! The Baked Chicken Quiche was very good as well as the fruit cup with mandarin oranges, apples and pineapple. My favorite though had to be the Zucchini Bread which was flavorful and moist. I think I have found my go to when I need to pick up a quick lunch to take back to the office. I do not have any pictures since I ate my lunch before I decided to submit the review.

We moved to Kilgore a year ago and Downtown D'Lites, BY FAR, has been our favorite place to eat here. When we have friends and family that come into town, we are sure to bring them here so they can experience it for themselves! I can honestly say that everything I have gotten on the menu, I have greatly enjoyed- I cannot say that about any other place I've eaten. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. I love reading the Scripture verses on the walls too. You will not find better service anywhere else, everyone is always extremely friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh and the service is always with a smile. Mrs. Debbie goes out of her way to try to memorize all of her usual customer's name- that just goes to show you what kind of place this is. When we think about eating out for lunch we end up at D'Lites because it never disappoints. Not only is the food wonderful but its also affordable as well, especially if you get the "Daily Special." It really is appropriately named, you'll have to try it for yourself to fully understand.

In my visit to Kilgore, I decided I wanted a baked potato. To my surprise BBQ place didn't offer it. I went to Google and found this charming quiet place. Never been there before I started reading the menu they had posted and they offered many options. As I was talking to the lady behind the counter she took the time to go over the options (knowing I wanted a potato, I was swayed by a club sandwich) low and behold they had an option where I could have both at $12 and change! The food was GOOD! The atmosphere where quiet it was small space but charming. As I waited for my food I admired the shop. I believe the lady behind the counter was the owner. My food was great, beginning service was great! As I received my food I checked my food and noticed I did not have to go silverware. That is why I dinged a star. If I order Togo the expectation is to have silverware. If I didn't check my food I would not have been able to eat my potato. I 100% would recommend Togo or eating in!

We ordered a Chicken Caesar Wrap. I removed the lettuce to look at the chicken. I’ll let the picture speak for itself. I give one star, because the older lady who attended us was very nice.
