Great little coffee shop - everything is vegan and planted based. I love that they do oat milk as the default for their drinks. The vegan treats were so tasty, especially the Bac'n Cheddar Turnover. The vibe was great. Loved the plants and the cool artwork on the front. The owner was very friendly. Can't wait to come back.

Ordered the Kermie drink (matcha + pistachio milk) & a side of Toast with apricot jelly. Very delicious flavors. A+++!!! I give this local coffee shop a 10/10 Drink was well made and the toast was on a nice sourdough bread (good size) Barista was very sweet and kind, she really stand outs. Very quiet in there and nice atmosphere, you can go there by yourself and have a solo date. Bathrooms are super clean, I love it! Plants and art everywhere! I will return in the future

Wood Coffee Co. is an amazing find! The vegan and gluten-free pastries are absolutely delicious and sell out quickly. The atmosphere is bright and airy with an industrial vibe, complemented by plants and local artwork. They offer a variety of plant-based drinks, with oat milk as their default option, which is rare and awesome. The coffee menu is well-curated, and the seasonal latte selection is amazing. The owner is so welcoming and hospitable, which made our visit even better. Highly recommend!

Long Beach has it all. This coffee spot is another testament to that. Great selection . Big fan of coffee mugs and love that they serve them in one- specially cool designed ones.

The place was quiet and peaceful, which I enjoyed a lot! The owner was super kind and patient while I was choosing what to order. Ordered: Cookie Butter (Work) Latte Rate: 9/10 The perfect mix of flavors with the coffee beans and cookie butter was perfect! Not too sweet and not too strong. I totally recommend this coffee when you're in this coffee shop! Also ordered: Lovesick Blues (Lavender) Matcha This had a distinctly different taste than any matcha I've tried. It was different but good; I really enjoyed it! I'm always on the lookout for new and different drinks to try! Rate: 8.5/10 My experience here was pleasant! A perfect place to catch up with work and friends!

Cool because this place opens early. Quiet and clean inside, with a great selection of coffee and tea. Vegan snacks, including a vegan ham and cheese, which was pretty tasty. Loose leaf and delicious espresso along with drip coffee was available. This is a cool joint.

I drop in here more & more lately. Coffee is good and I love the hand crafted coffee mugs. Haven't tried any of the pastry's yet & they seem to all be plant based. Friendly staff, huge bathroom, big bright space. Quiet enough to read a book, study or get some work done.

Wow absolutely loved this gem and will be returning. Love their lavender matcha iced, plenty of flavor and not overly sweet. Great environment to work, meet a friend or relax. Everything was super clean and baristas were very accommodating.

Great coffee shop that I'll definitely be adding to my go to lists everytime I come back home to visit. The vibe is nice and the staff even nicer. I love to pick up new coffee shop shirts and try grateful for stuff going in back to find my size. Coffee was DELICIOUS! See ya next time.

Was a real treat to stumble upon this coffee shop. Looked really cute from the outside and on the inside, often times that’ll be it. But not wood. Great coffee, and a plethora of vegan pastries and bagels. The staff was friendly, the environment was warm and inviting. I enjoyed just sitting and sipping on my pour over here.

Love that it's so close to home. Nothing beats walking distance from my house. The cold brew is something I crave all the time. Way better than Starbucks. LGBTQ+ and Vegan owned. It's a cute spot to block out neighborhood noise.

There are a million things with how I’ve been looking for a coffee shop that finally aligns. Taking complicated orders is a no brainer, and they don’t roll their eyes everytime you order something different from their menu. They truly care about the make of what you order. They take their time to make every crafted drink perfect by hand. Second, the atmosphere felt so calm, warm, & open and an atmosphere where everyone is seen and valued. I had a great conversation for hours with a person I had just met, including the baristas. The baristas leave their stuff at home, to make sure every customer gets the best heart felt experience per day! And they have vegan + GF options!!

We loved the place. Local art, welcoming and cool owner and absolutely delicious drinks! We got the coconut hazelnut cinnamon latte and the Chai. Both were knockouts. I struggle to find a chai that is not either watery or sweet as candy. This one was perfect The cinnamon rolll was drool worthy!

Great staff, great playlist (perfect curation imo), and a very safe environment. I often came here to do my homework while attending CSULB and it did not disappoint! Delicious and fun seasonal drink offerings, also as an added bonus the owner is an angel. I just had the best cold brew “Pumpkins Gotta Give” and I highly recommend it. Complaints about parking are interesting because it’s Long Beach and that has nothing to do with the shop itself. Side streets work perfectly for parking. If you’re not a kind person and have some sort of odd issue with locally sourced vegan options, this is not for you and please keep your weird vibes out of this safe-haven! Touch some grass, this shop rocks 😇

I come here all the time. It feels very tucked away and cozy. Very friendly staff. Love all the art and the community board towards the back of the store.
