We were in town for a football game & google mapped great restaurants. Judds popped up & definitely did not disappoint! The sea-bass had buffalo lemon sauce on it that was super tasty! The salmon was a sweeter dish with a grilled orange slice! Yum!!! The old fashioned was a generous pour & delicious! The waitress was friendly & gave great recommendations! Thank you Judd’s!! We will be back next time!
This place totally surprised us. Never been to eat. Wanted to go somewhere new so we tried it. It was phenomenal. The food was so good. A little pricey but it was worth it in the end. The salmon was cooked to perfection.. the orange infused sweet potato mash that came with the pork chop was so good. The desserts were delicious. Brown butter cake can probably be shared, it's a big portion. Addie was our waitress, very friendly and great service. They had a massive bar that we didn't visit this time but we will definitely go back..
Had the most delicious meal here, and honestly? Still thinking about it. I ordered the shrimp pasta dish, and it was everything: perfectly cooked pasta, tender shrimp, rich sauce, comfort and flavor wrapped in one beautiful bowl. You know when food hits your soul a little? That. Shoutout to Stephanie, my server, who was absolutely amazing. Attentive without hovering, warm without being fake, she made the experience feel elevated and easy at the same time. Love when someone brings good energy and knows the menu like a pro. If you’re thinking about going to Judds Downtown, go. If you’re already there? Order the shrimp penne. And if you’re lucky enough to get Stephanie as your server, tell her she’s a rockstar.
Great staff and service. Got the shrimp tacos wife got the Po Boy sandwich nephew got the chicken bacon ranch flat bread with his mom and the kiddo got the chicken strips and we all gave the thumbs up.
Nice place downtown with great service, great food and a really good whiskey/bourbon selection and multiple TVs to watch the game on. My new go to spot to eat, chill and watch football in Longview.
Amazing food. Even better service. Claudia was my server & she was very personable, even helped me out with a wine selection. Everyone seemed so nice! 10/10 on the orange infused sweet potatoes!!! Will be coming back when I’m in Longview! New Judd’s supporter!
This place was so good I went back two nights later. I'm from out of town, and had 2 great experiences at this place. Ok, we're in a group of 3, I had steak House tacos, which were amazing!!!! My friends had the chicken and waffle sliders which he said were one off amazing!!! And the other friend had the Salmon which he said was really good!!! We drank a couple beers🍺 and ate the crawfish queso to start, chatted with a REALLY GOOD bartender named Natasha. She was absolutely the best bartender I've found in this area... 😁😉 Two nights later, we all go back, we all had the petite steak plate.... It was cooked PERFECT, I order medium rare... (Pic) Everyone was very pleased with their dinner. The mashed sweet potatoes are really good! The regular mashed potatoes are my favorite, they leave the skin in the mash. 😍 I have no complaints... I will be back, I plan on working East TX for the next year. 😁
We visited Judd's in downtown Longview and were amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the wonderful service. We had the extremely tasty chicken and waffles and the warm brown butter cake and crème brûlée for dessert. This is easily one of, if not the best, meal we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment!

Judds has a chill, laid-back atmosphere that is quite welcoming. Their staff is very attentive. The food is delicious and their drinks, AMAZING! They have my favorite bourbon, Jeffersons Ocean, the pinnacle for tasty old-fashioned's!
Have wanted to stop in here for several years and finally did so whilst roaming through downtown. We weren’t that hungry so we ordered a salad and side of fries. Food was excellent as was the service. The atmosphere, however, is worth crowing about: extremely sexy, dark, tasteful decor, warm, and the exposed brick highlighted the character of the venue. The selection of wine was above average with a nice Stag’s Leap Cab catching my eye (I don’t drink a lot of white). The bourbon and single malt whisky choices were comprehensive and surprising for this “small” town. I wasn’t drinking today, however. The beer selection was disappointing but what I would expect in Longview. I call it a collection largely comprised of rodeo or NASCAR beer, the kind of beer a guy who frequently uses the term “cold beer” when speaking of his choice of beverage to drink with his well-done steak. I’ll be back and will sit at the bar. Great work, Judd!!
What a delightful evening at Judd’s. We had Boudin Egg Rolls for starters, followed with Steaks (Ribeye and Filet) and an Espresso Martini. All of which were delicious! The atmosphere along with the service was excellent!
We stuck mostly to appetizers. Everything we tried was great, but our favorite item was the spicy cheese bites. The beer selection was pretty generic. My husband also ordered a French 75 which he said was very nice. Everything was hot and very crispy. My only critique was that the restaurant was VERY cold. You know you're going to be uncomfortable when every server is wearing some kind of sweatshirt. I would definitely go back, but I'd bring a jacket!
Very welcoming environment for everyone. Surprisingly good food menu. Service is excellent. Bourbon selection is top notch. Better than I’ve seen in most bars in Houston and Dallas. Went two nights this weekend and Jess was an amazing bartender and cooler than the other side of the pillow. 10/10 recommended.

The pork chop at Judds Downtown showed promise, but it was masked by a bit too much balsamic. Instead of enhancing the meat, the glaze overpowered the natural pork flavor, which was a bit disappointing. The sweet potatoes were hearty and tasty, though a bit thick for my preference. On the other hand, the sautéed veggies were fantastic—well-seasoned and cooked just right, easily the best part of the plate. Now for the Kentucky Old Fashioned—wow. It was on the sweeter side, but really enjoyable. Smooth, flavorful, and a real highlight of the evening. All in all, I’d definitely go back for that drink and those veggies again.
Boss Lady and I came in for dinner. The joint was jumping due to tons of kids, it was prom night. Bad timing on our part. The service was a bit slow but was worth it after the food was delivered. She had a medium rare steak and fries. I had the salmon over rice. Both were really good but there was too much balsamic sauce on both mains. It all tasted really delicious even with the heavy handed chef. I had a very nice old fashion. Overall we had a very pleasant time.

There was little to no wait when we went. The service was also really quick and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. We got the queso dip which was kinda mid. The honey butter chicken sandwich was good the fries were not my favorite though. The steak had too much of the glaze. The steak tacos were good. The mashed potatoes had a lemony flavor to them which I thought was interesting. Overall I would rate the food a 3/5. I think it was a good first time experience but I’m not sure if the food was good enough to return.
I went here Wednesday for lunch and wanted to love it, but unfortunately the food just wasn't was good as everyone raved about. We started out with the fried pickles which are served with their house made ranch.. The pickles were so soft it was concerning. There was no crunch at all to the pickles and it was a little overbearing with the breading of it didn't taste like a pickle at all. Also got the burger and fries and they weren't cooked all the way just very soft. The sweet tea was very good. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was very attending. Just wish the food was more flavorful.
This is my second time coming to this location. I got the chicken Alfredo this time. It was good, but not great. Definitely not worth the nearly $20 you pay for it. The chips and queso were also lackluster. The queso is always super watery and makes a mess when trying to use it. They even charge you to refill the chips. I don’t think the food here is worth the high prices they charge.
Food was greasy, not impressive. Service is great, however - highly recommend if you're looking for just a beer, but I think its a risk that the food will not meet expectations...

The service is great and I have no complaints about the FOH staff. I ordered the Tuscan pasta and it came out lukewarm. No biggie I sent it back to be reheated, and it came back only slightly warmer. My other order was the pork ribeye, and it was severely undercooked. We couldn't tell completely due to the lighting, but we noticed the more we cut into it, it was still raw in the middle. The place could be so cool, but there's nothing to help with the sound bouncing off the walls so it's incredibly loud. Food is hit or miss, and with the prices I can't spend my money on food that isn't fully cooked or heated.
I go to different restaurants and order a lot of food to find out if they have a good cook or its just a fluke. I ordered a Filet plate, Pork Chop plate & Salmon Plate. The pork was very charred the med filet that's all you tasted was burnt stuff it was horrible. The salmon was cooked perfectly the rice was as well, mac & cheese was amazing also big ups to the bartender for the Lemon drops. Went for my birthday dinner and all I got to eat was mac & cheese guess I got a kids meal for my birthday lol. Manager was on the phone aware of the situation but didn't address the issue until I called her over from just sitting at the front of house. Won't ever be back. Looks can be deceiving on pictures.
