Judd's is an amazing. The restaurant is open and inviting. The staff are attentive but not smothering. I had the black and bleu salad and the steak was tender and went well with the greens and dressing. It was a great meal and experience and I will be coming back.

Great food and even better service. Our waitress was friendly and helpful, and the chef was even more so. My husband and I highly recommend the salmon etouffee and the crawfish mac & cheese. We will absolutely be back the next time we pass through Longview!

Judds is a gem in Longview, mimosa’s are great and priced reasonably. The French toast and fruit and the potatoes are great.

Try the red Margarita, raspberry I think. My salmon and vegetables were excellent. And the rice was the best I’ve ever eaten.

Food was amazing! I loved their Roaseted Red Pepper and Smoked Gouda Soup! The espresso martini was fantastic! Definitely will be back!

I really liked this place – good food, nice atmosphere, and a professional waitstaff that never stopped moving including the owner who was helping bus tables and seating the guests. I was even more impressed with the selection of whisky which rivaled many bars in Houston and priced reasonably. Next time I am in town I am definitely stopping by here!

My hubs & I have eaten here twice with the company he works for. He had the ribeye steak and I had the filet mignon both times (our go-to steak choices). The appetizers were great, our waitresses were friendly and attentive, and our steaks were cooked to medium rare with perfection. I highly recommend Judd's Downton you give them a go. You won’t regret it!

super clean lots of seating was available staff super friendly lots of menu options including apps and desserts food came from kitchen fast it was delicious very fair prices. at first we were worried that it was looking a bit expensive but we ended up spending less than what it typically cost us for Texas Roadhouse - way better quality food and service and atmosphere if u ask me will be back again for sure

Sweet. Baby. Jesus. Tonight, I had the bourbon vanilla pork chop, and my only complaint was that the dish came to an inevitable end. The veggies are absolute perfection, and that was hands down the best pork chop I’ve ever had. The sauce was the perfect blend of sweet and tangy. I’ve never had sweet potatoes that were as light and fluffy as the ones I had tonight. I will definitely be coming back to Judds so that 1) I can have some more of that pork chop and 2) see what other dishes are waiting to blow my mind!

Friday night visit, service was very fast, accurate, and cheerful. Food came out hot on a cool plate (so it was fresh not heat lamped.) The crawfish and sausage pasta was very tasty. Our cups were never empty. Only down side was the background noise was deafening. Which may be the atmosphere that some are seeking, but we were looking for more of a quiet booth date experience. Definitely not a romantic sort of atmosphere. There is outside seating which might be the thing if you’re looking for quiet and tasty.

Atmosphere was nice. Food was great, and I liked how the Chef came out and talked to the guess... We were in town for a softball tournament. Stonie Clark recommended we go there for a late Father's day dinner. Thanks

Might be my favorite restaurant in Longview. We split the brisket tacos on this visit. Good wine selection (wife) and good beer on tap too. Salmon is great too - one of our favorites. We usually sit outside - quieter and easier to visit with friends. You get to see the constant parade of strange downtown people playing a game on their phones. Trust me on this place - great food and no surprises in the morning. What more can you ask for in a restaurant?

So impressed!! I had Crispy honey Salmon over bok choy with rice. It made my taste buds purr. My husband had the filet, medium rare cooked perfectly. He is typically a fast eater but tonight he slowed it down to savor the flavor of each bite. Our waitress, Kristen was very sweet and took very good care of us and was right on time with refills. We will visit Judd's again.....soon

Went on a Saturday after the early crowd had left. They seated us quickly and our waitress took our drink orders. We ordered the Crawfish queso for an appetizer. That was the best Queso, I'll definitely order that again. We both had the Honey Butter Fried Chicken sandwich with fries. Longview needed a different kind of restaurant and Judd's Downtown answered that call.

Third time dining here. First two visits were good. Tonight 2-24-24 was exceptional. Service was great, atmosphere was pleasantly joyful, and the food Tonight was phenomenal. Thank you very much Mr/Ms. Top Chef. YOU ROCKED!!! I invited family and friends who are great cooks, and everyone was delightfully pleased.

This place is so good! We moved here from Orlando & have definitely felt the loss of Michelin-competing food. Judd’s completely fills that hole! Their prices are fully reasonable ($145 after tip for 6 people), and I’ve never seen a place fill their cocktails up so high! None of that “vegas ice” here! The place is cool, quiet, and clean. The atmosphere was so welcoming and calm. Not too quiet (e.g. not the kind where you’re afraid you’ll scrape your plate and everyone will stare) but not loud at all. They have a full bar, and a bartender that knows how to use it. The servers were all so sweet, and checked on us just the right about. They didn’t even come by when I’d just taken a bite, ha! The food was genuinely delectable. Every single thing we ate, we were all impressed with. All of it!

Judds Downtown is definitely one of the top spots in town. It’s got that perfect blend of laid-back and high-end vibes, which makes it a great place to relax while still feeling like you’re treating yourself. The food has been consistently amazing—I haven’t had a single dish I didn’t like yet. The downtown atmosphere adds a nice touch, giving it a cool, vibrant energy. Last time I went, we had a large party, and they accommodated us with ease. The service was solid, and the food was top-notch. If I had to nitpick, the prices are a little on the higher side, but honestly, it’s worth it for the quality they’re delivering. Definitely a great spot to check out!

Friendly staff and amazing food! I got the chicken Alfredo. It was so good. And the bread that came with it was so light and perfectly seasoned. My wife got the pork chop with veggies and sweet potato. The sauce on the pork chop was really good. I also tried some of her zucchini and squash, and it was the best I’ve ever had. I normally don’t get dessert, but that brown butter cake was incredible. We’ll definitely be back!

Thoroughly enjoy Judds. Hands down the BEST espresso martini in town and the ambiance is a vibe. The chicken and waffle sliders and the black and bleu flat bread are DELICIOUS! My favorite place to go with colleagues or special occasions!

Judds has a chill, laid-back atmosphere that is quite welcoming. Their staff is very attentive. The food is delicious and their drinks, AMAZING! They have my favorite bourbon, Jeffersons Ocean, the pinnacle for tasty old-fashioned's!

This was my first time at Judds and I wasn’t sure of what the atmosphere would be. It definitely has the feel and noise level of a sports bar. It looked like people were enjoying the bar and drinks but they weren’t overly noisy or obnoxious which is always a worry of a bar and grill type place. The biggest plus for this setting was the lighting!! I hate eating in a dark restaurant! I had the chicken and waffles and I’m just going to say that I’m still thinking about them the next day, they were that amazing!!! I had the coleslaw on the side (it’s just the slaw no dressing). The fries were great as well! The prices here were as you’d expect for fresh, unique meals. About $17 an entree. The service was great which was such a nice change from some other bigger chain places in Longview. Our waitress was present but not at our table every minute. We never felt hounded or rushed at all!

K

Absolutely the BEST salmon I have ever had!! I will be attempting to copy the jasmine rice as well !! The service was ....interesting... but the food definitely made up for it. I will be returning!

Awesome place! If you are looking for a cozy establishment with great food, drinks and an awesome vibe then this is your place. This sportsbar/restaurant will satisfy those looking for breakfast, dinner or just an app. I love that we have a bar for the 30 plus crowd and it's located downtown! I had the crawfish queso and Lemon drop martini. I can't say enough about how good that martini was! They also have frozen crown and coke which i the haven't see before lol. The bartender was awesome and very attentive to my needs. I will definitely visit this place again!

Made a road trip without any knowledge of this operation. Ended up there as an accident. Food was delicious. Jess behind the bar absolutely made it worth the trip. Very attentive and entertaining. Just don't ask her for the wfif guest password if she knows you're from out of town!!! #jokes She is an asset to this operation.

Excellent food & service in downtown Longview! The cheeseburger bites are sooooo yummy!! The flavor in each bite will have you drooling!! Lol Crawfish Mac & cheese???? O.M.G. that's all I'm gonna say! It's a WHOLE flavor vibe! Staff is super friendly & head chef Ronald is killin it in the kitchen!! I got a chance to speak with the owner, Judd, and he's super friendly, down to earth & ready to make sure your food experience is nothing short of outstanding. I am already ready to go back & taste more on their menu! (Parking can be a little crazy so you may have to walk -- but it's worth it!)

We were in town for a football game & google mapped great restaurants. Judds popped up & definitely did not disappoint! The sea-bass had buffalo lemon sauce on it that was super tasty! The salmon was a sweeter dish with a grilled orange slice! Yum!!! The old fashioned was a generous pour & delicious! The waitress was friendly & gave great recommendations! Thank you Judd’s!! We will be back next time!

This place totally surprised us. Never been to eat. Wanted to go somewhere new so we tried it. It was phenomenal. The food was so good. A little pricey but it was worth it in the end. The salmon was cooked to perfection.. the orange infused sweet potato mash that came with the pork chop was so good. The desserts were delicious. Brown butter cake can probably be shared, it's a big portion. Addie was our waitress, very friendly and great service. They had a massive bar that we didn't visit this time but we will definitely go back..

Had the most delicious meal here, and honestly? Still thinking about it. I ordered the shrimp pasta dish, and it was everything: perfectly cooked pasta, tender shrimp, rich sauce, comfort and flavor wrapped in one beautiful bowl. You know when food hits your soul a little? That. Shoutout to Stephanie, my server, who was absolutely amazing. Attentive without hovering, warm without being fake, she made the experience feel elevated and easy at the same time. Love when someone brings good energy and knows the menu like a pro. If you’re thinking about going to Judds Downtown, go. If you’re already there? Order the shrimp penne. And if you’re lucky enough to get Stephanie as your server, tell her she’s a rockstar.

This place was so good I went back two nights later. I'm from out of town, and had 2 great experiences at this place. Ok, we're in a group of 3, I had steak House tacos, which were amazing!!!! My friends had the chicken and waffle sliders which he said were one off amazing!!! And the other friend had the Salmon which he said was really good!!! We drank a couple beers🍺 and ate the crawfish queso to start, chatted with a REALLY GOOD bartender named Natasha. She was absolutely the best bartender I've found in this area... 😁😉 Two nights later, we all go back, we all had the petite steak plate.... It was cooked PERFECT, I order medium rare... (Pic) Everyone was very pleased with their dinner. The mashed sweet potatoes are really good! The regular mashed potatoes are my favorite, they leave the skin in the mash. 😍 I have no complaints... I will be back, I plan on working East TX for the next year. 😁

Have wanted to stop in here for several years and finally did so whilst roaming through downtown. We weren’t that hungry so we ordered a salad and side of fries. Food was excellent as was the service. The atmosphere, however, is worth crowing about: extremely sexy, dark, tasteful decor, warm, and the exposed brick highlighted the character of the venue. The selection of wine was above average with a nice Stag’s Leap Cab catching my eye (I don’t drink a lot of white). The bourbon and single malt whisky choices were comprehensive and surprising for this “small” town. I wasn’t drinking today, however. The beer selection was disappointing but what I would expect in Longview. I call it a collection largely comprised of rodeo or NASCAR beer, the kind of beer a guy who frequently uses the term “cold beer” when speaking of his choice of beverage to drink with his well-done steak. I’ll be back and will sit at the bar. Great work, Judd!!

What a delightful evening at Judd’s. We had Boudin Egg Rolls for starters, followed with Steaks (Ribeye and Filet) and an Espresso Martini. All of which were delicious! The atmosphere along with the service was excellent!

We stuck mostly to appetizers. Everything we tried was great, but our favorite item was the spicy cheese bites. The beer selection was pretty generic. My husband also ordered a French 75 which he said was very nice. Everything was hot and very crispy. My only critique was that the restaurant was VERY cold. You know you're going to be uncomfortable when every server is wearing some kind of sweatshirt. I would definitely go back, but I'd bring a jacket!

Very welcoming environment for everyone. Surprisingly good food menu. Service is excellent. Bourbon selection is top notch. Better than I’ve seen in most bars in Houston and Dallas. Went two nights this weekend and Jess was an amazing bartender and cooler than the other side of the pillow. 10/10 recommended.

The food would get 5 stars but just recently my Entire family has been dealing with some health issues. We are switching to a gluten free, dairy free diet. And seeing that this is a thing now I think the restaurant should find some modified recipes. They were able to at least dairy free my pasta but maybe substituting half and half they use for coconut milk or a plant based organic milk. Other than that love this place. I’d just hate to have to stop coming cause of this

Went here today for the first time. If it works out, I would come here often after work on Fridays. Location, menu and atmosphere-wise it's the perfect place to treat myself when I am in the mood to do so. Things got off to a bad start when they left me unapproached after seating for about 15 minutes. Since I was there between the times that most people eat lunch or dinner, there were only three other groups dining in the restaurant. However, once I finally decided to make something happen, no one was out in the restaurant or even at the bar. I had to wait outside the kitchen door for a moment until someone came out when I politely explained having been forgotten. They felt really terrible and worked hard to make this up to me, so that is good news. From this point forward, they took great care of me. Love that you can choose spring mix for the side salad instead of traditional lettuce! And it comes with hearty shreds of parm. Everything was fresh. I ordered the honey orange glazed grilled salmon served with jasmine rice and grilled veg. I was expecting the salmon to be grilled, but it seemed more steamed? And it was not at all dry, very tender and juicy, but cooked through instead of medium or medium rare, but it was delicious nonetheless. There was something off about the glaze; it's possibly normally yummy, but it had a weird taste - maybe burnt? Anyways, I scraped it off, and everything else was a treat! The jasmine rice was spot on in terms of texture and flavor. The veg had onions throughout which was a nice touch and the seasoning was perfection. I ate every bite! The manager came by at the perfect time to check on my experience. I did not say one word about the glaze, because I did not want to complain twice in one visit! Normally I would politely mention something like this just so they know. I did not order any cocktails because it was, like, the middle of the day - LOL. BUT I was impressed that they had a nice cocktail menu right on the table with signature drink choices. Seriously, I do not know why every restaurant does not do this, leaving patrons to flounder aimlessly at what to order, or stick with a "go-to" cocktail. Cocktails signature to a restaurant make the dining experience way better IMO! And can make the restaurant more money. Win, win. I will try this restaurant again one Friday. I would like to try some other items from their menu, and would even order the salmon again - with glaze on the side - to see if mine today was a fluke. I am hoping for awesome, because this place would be impressive for meeting a visitor for lunch or dinner if they have never been to Longview!

Everyone was nice, but the food was only decent. Rice that came with salmon was cold, salmon was average of what we make at home. Blue cheese steak flatbread was pretty good though. The space was both noisy and loaded with TV screens. If I go to a restaurant, especially a downtown one, I'm going there to enjoy quality time with my loved one, not stay up with sports/etc. If you can't live for 2 hrs away from a screen, go to bubba's for better/fresher food with bigger TVs.

The expensive food jumps right out at you especially the appetizers as you view the menu. Bar cozy and decent wine selections. 7$ Cab was fine. Sadly the bartender had “tiny glass of wine disease” and it was a very short pour. Chicken wings delicious with plenty of celery and carrots which made it for me. Cute , decent place in a town of very D- dining experiences

Great service, comfy atmosphere. Had the French Dip, and it was just a little I'll composed. The cheese wasn't evenly distributed and the bread kinda fell apart. Otherwise tasty and no gristle. Had it with loaded mashed potatoes which were a little heavy on black pepper which I absolutely loved. Overall lovely place for a family dinner.

My husband and I went with a group of people, our first time. I was a little disappointed! My husband ordered pork chop, which was not tender and sweet potatoes too sweet, and his was cold. I ordered Orange Salmon, good but was not anything special ( comparing to restaurants I order Salmon a lot). We had great waitress and service. We love old brick buildings but a little disappointed in atmosphere, which wanted it to be nicer. Overall we will probably go back for appetizers and drinks.

Let me start with we had a very large party of 20 for a birthday on a Saturday night. So our wait staff was on the ball and excellent. The one and only issue I had was the demi-glaze that they put on their steaks is dreadful. Completely ruins the taste of the beef and your palate. You get that bitter bite of vinegar before you ever enjoy the first piece. That aside, I don't know if that would have made it much better. The steak a filet, cooked med-rare, had very little flavor itself. Would I make the 53 minute drive back to eat here again? Probably not. The place was packed though and the atmosphere is Magnolia meets warehouse.

Judd's is a great place for a meal in downtown Longview. Love the bar area! There were lots of great choices of whiskeys, which was a bit of a surprise. The bartender was terrific. There some really good options on the menu aswell.

Went there for the brunch on Saturday and it tasted amazing, like it did the first time. Our food came out with decent timing and the ambiance is great! Only downfall is this time we made a change to one of the menu items that unexpectedly was about $7 more. Our last visit we we were not charged as we were told it wouldn't be a charge. Other than that everything was great!

Good food and service. A page of starters and salads, 2 pages of entrees to pick from. Disappointed with no specials but had new items get added to menu, at least the way it looks. Good seasoning and tasty dishes.

Pork sliders for lunch in a uniquely lit downtown restaurant/bar with attentive staff and supreme desserts to finish everything off! The food was delicious, served with a smile in a stylish, cozy establishment with clean restrooms and helpful staff. Stop in for a visit!

The pork chop at Judds Downtown showed promise, but it was masked by a bit too much balsamic. Instead of enhancing the meat, the glaze overpowered the natural pork flavor, which was a bit disappointing. The sweet potatoes were hearty and tasty, though a bit thick for my preference. On the other hand, the sautéed veggies were fantastic—well-seasoned and cooked just right, easily the best part of the plate. Now for the Kentucky Old Fashioned—wow. It was on the sweeter side, but really enjoyable. Smooth, flavorful, and a real highlight of the evening. All in all, I’d definitely go back for that drink and those veggies again.

Boss Lady and I came in for dinner. The joint was jumping due to tons of kids, it was prom night. Bad timing on our part. The service was a bit slow but was worth it after the food was delivered. She had a medium rare steak and fries. I had the salmon over rice. Both were really good but there was too much balsamic sauce on both mains. It all tasted really delicious even with the heavy handed chef. I had a very nice old fashion. Overall we had a very pleasant time.

Enjoyed the food. The hostesses were typical young adults not taking their jobs seriously. Not greeting people as they entered. In conversation with each other instead.

J

Food was about average. I would have given them 4 stars for that. But there was a drink list on the table, and I wanted to try an Old Fashioned. It was OK (orange-flavored whiskey), but it wasn't until we got our bill that I found out the drink was more than the meal. I really dislike restaurants that do this (neglect to display prices so customers order more without being aware), so I doubt that I will return.

The service was great, the food was acceptable. We had a party of 5, and ordered an extra meal to go. We were charged $46.71 gratuity because we spent over $200. I thought that gratuity was only automatic for a party of 6 or more, we had 5 people. I asked my waitress about charge, and she stated that the charge was because we spent over $200. That’s outrageous.

A

great food..but half the time the servers seem annoyed, especially when it’s the last hour or TWO before closing…We came in at 9:15, with a 20 minute wait. The hostess told us the kitchen closed at 10, but we would have to order by 9:30 if we wanted food. Since there was a 20 minutes wait, she said we would only be able to order drinks if we wanted to sit down…it was just a weird experience..don’t understand why the hostess cares when we order food since they close at midnight.

The Ribeye Steak is overpriced. They say it is 14 oz but you cut at least 8 ounces of fat from it. You only get one side with that also. Additional side is another 3.75. Be careful and not get your mashed potatoes loaded that’s and additional 3.25. The steak had a good flavor but was very overpriced. The folks I went with had the hamburgers and they looked amazing.

Food was good but the price of the drinks was nearly price gouging. I mean OUTRAGEOUS Prices! A Single jalipeno margarita was $15. I figured maybe $5 for an extra shot but Nope! $9!!! one double margarita was $24! we didnt see the extravagant price for the double marg on the menu anywhere and our waitress didn't bother telling us. Thank God it was payday. Wife and I had 2 drinks each and spent $96 + tax just on booze. Go there for food.....if you're Bill Gates have one for us. :)

Food was good, staff was super friendly, but a $37 old fashioned???? Yes, you read that correctly $37. They claim they only serve doubles. Never again.

Place was really clean and food was pretty good. Biggest downfall, never got a spoon for the soup with my grilled cheese. Was told it be a minute because they were being washed. Never have I been to a restaurant that has ran out of silverware. Ok no biggie. Welp, never came back to check on how everything was, still no spoon. Finally came back when all were done eating and asked how things were. I said would have been great to have my soup. Was told they were still washing them but she made sure that I had to-go silverware with a spoon. Girl, why didn't you just bring that to begin with. Yes, I was petty and put the soup in the togo container and out the spoon right on top of it and left it. Really no spoons at a restaurant?!

There was little to no wait when we went. The service was also really quick and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. We got the queso dip which was kinda mid. The honey butter chicken sandwich was good the fries were not my favorite though. The steak had too much of the glaze. The steak tacos were good. The mashed potatoes had a lemony flavor to them which I thought was interesting. Overall I would rate the food a 3/5. I think it was a good first time experience but I’m not sure if the food was good enough to return.

I went here Wednesday for lunch and wanted to love it, but unfortunately the food just wasn't was good as everyone raved about. We started out with the fried pickles which are served with their house made ranch.. The pickles were so soft it was concerning. There was no crunch at all to the pickles and it was a little overbearing with the breading of it didn't taste like a pickle at all. Also got the burger and fries and they weren't cooked all the way just very soft. The sweet tea was very good. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was very attending. Just wish the food was more flavorful.

This is my second time coming to this location. I got the chicken Alfredo this time. It was good, but not great. Definitely not worth the nearly $20 you pay for it. The chips and queso were also lackluster. The queso is always super watery and makes a mess when trying to use it. They even charge you to refill the chips. I don’t think the food here is worth the high prices they charge.

Food was greasy, not impressive. Service is great, however - highly recommend if you're looking for just a beer, but I think its a risk that the food will not meet expectations...

It really wasn't all that great. I had a soup, and a shrimp pasta. Could have made either at home for $6. Drinks weren't anything all that spectacular. I came on new years and even with the owner coming around to say hi, I can't say the atmosphere was all that special. It was packed full I'll give them that. But just not my cup of tea.

Judd’s had been my favorite Longview restaurant. I ordered my favorite dish and was served a real disappointment. The pasta looked and tasted like a warmed up leftover. I expressed my opinion to my server who offered an apology but nothing else. This has been my place to share a celebratory meal with family and the place I took out of towners. Will be on the look out for a new place.

J

The flounder as part of the new menu was less than satisfactory, way to sweet, service was good, I'll be back, I just will not recommend this dish. Also the rice was really odd , with some soft almond slices, it didn't work for me but maybe others will like it.

I Wanted to try it out because of word of mouth . The Environment was clean and looked nice, my server was very attentive. The food was bland.. the steak tasted like water, the “mac and cheese” looked and tasted more like mashed potatoes 🥹.. the tea and salad were good tho!

The food is really terrible. The service was fantastic. The mixed drinks were good. This is not where you should have actual dinner. Come here for drinks and appetizers. Overall a fun place. Just very disappointed in the food. I truly cook better than their chef. Maybe they have good burgers and good steak. My husband and I tried two of the house specialties and both were bad. We will come back for a burger next time just to give it another try. I would like to see this place make it.

1.5 stars :/ Undercooked food and overpriced for the quality. The prices were comparable to a nice Dallas restaurant. I have no issue with that usually, but only if the food is up to par which it was not. To receive an undercooked pork chop and then a chicken sandwich that is drenched in honey butter to the point that picking up the bun is unbearable is disappointing. But the bar is really nice!

L

I wanted to like Judd’s based on the Google pictures of what looked like delicious food. I also hate giving less than positive reviews, especially to local businesses. Unfortunately, our service was terrible, breakfast took almost 30 minutes even though there were only a few other patrons, food was cold when finally received (no doubt it sat for a long while, so maybe it was the server's fault not the kitchen's), server forgot my drink until I had almost finished my meal, and finally the portions were small compared to price. I truly hope they hire more attentive, experienced servers because most everything else can be forgiven. I'd go back to a nice restaurant with great food even if it were over priced or had small portions, IF the service made up for it. Some positives... The food had great flavor and presentation, and the restaurant had nice ambiance. With a few strategic improvements, this place has the potential to be great.

Bad take-out experience here. Mistakenly ordered something off the "L Menu" when placing an online order. Arrived at pickup time to be told they didn't make it because I didn't pay for the dinner price (+$3 on a ~$40 bill). Had to then wait 10-15 minutes for the food to be made. Then, they charged me $5.71 as the cost difference when the menu price was only $3 more. Food was mediocre to boot. The bartender being very nice and friendly while I waited is the only reason it's not a 1 star experience. Have your web designer spell out the word 'lunch' in your online ordering system, don't charge customers time & money for your oversights, and don't overcharge customers. Picture to show what $21 (normally $18) gets you from this establishment.

The service is great and I have no complaints about the FOH staff. I ordered the Tuscan pasta and it came out lukewarm. No biggie I sent it back to be reheated, and it came back only slightly warmer. My other order was the pork ribeye, and it was severely undercooked. We couldn't tell completely due to the lighting, but we noticed the more we cut into it, it was still raw in the middle. The place could be so cool, but there's nothing to help with the sound bouncing off the walls so it's incredibly loud. Food is hit or miss, and with the prices I can't spend my money on food that isn't fully cooked or heated.

I go to different restaurants and order a lot of food to find out if they have a good cook or its just a fluke. I ordered a Filet plate, Pork Chop plate & Salmon Plate. The pork was very charred the med filet that's all you tasted was burnt stuff it was horrible. The salmon was cooked perfectly the rice was as well, mac & cheese was amazing also big ups to the bartender for the Lemon drops. Went for my birthday dinner and all I got to eat was mac & cheese guess I got a kids meal for my birthday lol. Manager was on the phone aware of the situation but didn't address the issue until I called her over from just sitting at the front of house. Won't ever be back. Looks can be deceiving on pictures.

Chicken sandwich tasted like plastic and very old ,burnt fryer oil. Strawberry pecan salad was far from fresh. The cucumbers more closely resembled pickels , and the mashed sweet potatoes tasted like baby food. The price does not match quality here..

I was told to try this place by a co-worker. I honestly thought it was going to be a good experience, but apparently I came on the wrong day! We arrived and was seated pretty quickly, I noticed 3 other people walked in behind us.. 2 was seated at the table in front of us, 1 was seated at the table behind us. The table that walked in after us noticed they received their wine, never seen anybody acknowledge us.. noticed the guy that was seated behind us also came after, got his beverage and his food ordered.. we still never got acknowledge or even at this point asked if we needed water or anything.. honestly I was ready to go at this point, but my friend was like let's just ask the next person that comes by. She stopped somebody to which she said she would get our waitress. Finally she comes to our table and apologizes because they are using new headsets today. We recieved our drinks and ordered our food. Our waitress comes back out to let me know my potatoes I ordered for bunch "it's 11 or so" they ran out of. I said that's ok.. you can just take those off.. waitress comes back out with our food which I'm surprised because I ordered pancakes and the waitress states the cook had already changed my order to "mash potatoes" since they were out of breakfast potatoes (which doesn't pair well with pancakes) the waitress said the cook wouldn't let her take it off of my ticket because he had already prepared it "she apologized again and offered to pay for the mash potatoes". I said it's ok.. we will just take the ticket and go. It was not a good first experience for me, but the place was nice.

My husband and I went last night and that was his first time there. He ordered the ribeye which was 40$ had good flavor but it was COLD.... We told our waitress and she didn't do anything about it....very sad So my husband and i decided to give Judd's another try this past weekend, food was wonderful ,was a great experience 5 stars!!!!

Food - Filet mignon had not much flavor and they drizzled some maroon sauce all over it which made it worse. Our guest had same steak and was not impressed. He also had a side of fries that were served cold. The garlic shrimp appetizer was gross and mostly tasteless. The mashed potatoes were not good. Service - not satisfactory. Asked waitress if they could turn up the temp as we all thought it was cold in the dining area. Ladies at a few tables away also appeared cold. Waitress came back after asking manager and said they couldn’t turn the thermostat up as it would cause the floor to get slippery. Gee, thanks for taking care of your customers. Also, they charged $44 each for the steaks when the menu said $36. And they added an automatic 20% tip for our party of 4. Not deserved in this visit. Atmosphere - loud and echoey, too cold and overall unappealing.

We’ve been in before for dinner and it was decent. Yesterday my husband & I went for lunch. The two hosts were sitting in a booth, playing on their phones. We walked in & one jumped up and ran over. We go to the bar & the bartender is sitting at the end of the bar on her phone. Not for just a couple minutes, for a while. She never even noticed us until someone else sat next to her. She gets up & immediately goes to him. When she finally noticed us she says “you guys snuck in on me” well it’s easy to do with your face buried in your phone… when did it become acceptable to play on your phone while you should be working? We drove in from Tyler for this place. Two hour round trip wasted. It’s ok, we won’t be doing it again.

Order a side Salad with egg rolls. Brown lettuce. I hope you guys check your lettuce before serving. This was horrible. I said to myself I hope the lettuce is fresh but brown. At work can't do anything about but except it as a bad experience. Wish you all the luck. But serving brown lettuce. Do better

Went there for the first time yesterday around 2-3pm ish. I ordered their fried chicken sandwich and when it came out the bun was completely soggy and soaked in liquid that I am still unsure of being the honey it was tossed in or just pure grease or a mixture of the two. Even eating it the entire time it just kept dripping more and more and more of whatever that liquid was.

a

I ordered a black and blue salad. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! The lettuce is rotten and covered in slime, onions are mush, croutons soggy, but the meat. The meat was the worst part. First they claim they made it fresh, when the meat was freezing cold. You can tell when meat gas been refrigerated. So I called to let the restaurant know. I myself own a restaurant and would definitely want to be made aware of the problem that way I have the opportunity to fix the problem. Not Judd's though. After sitting on hold, Becky gets on the phone with an immediate attitude. Then proceeded to act like I was lying. I told her I can bring it up there and show you and I also have pictures of the rotten food. This sent her over the top so she began yelling. So I let her know they lost a customer. She said she could careless so I hung up. Don't waste your hard earned money on a place that cares so little about the customers and quality control.

This is our 3rd time to Judd's. We eat here when we come in from out of town. Last night we came with friends. One of them ordered the fish taco appetizer. There were 4 tacos on her plate. It cost $11.95. This evening we came back, and I ordered the fish taco plate (comes with a side of chips and salsa) for $15.95. I got 2 tacos. The tortillas tasted like rubber. More than half my plate was covered with cheap chips. The salsa tasted like it came from a jar. The meal was a complete rip off. On a good note, the wait staff work hard, and they serve a great cab sav.
