I absolutely love Waffle house me and my husband go often. I always get the all American he gets a grit bowl . We've never had a bad experience and if they mess something up always fix it.

Even though they had a limited menu. The cook I assume may have also been the shift manager was absolutely wonderful. They made your people were distanced and they only allowed 3-4 groups in the restaurant at a time. This way they could clean and sanitize after those groups. He was very well knowledged when it came to cooking food. He said if you want to sign the board I'll call you when you come up I promise I cook fast. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the food we ordered.

I was there last week when the health department came. And the ladies there was on point and ready. Whenever I go in I get greeting with a smile from everyone. All I get is bacon. And I like my bacon in a certain way and they all know this. And if you don't one of the employees will say something. I think that is awesome. And I have much respect for that. Everyone there do a great job . And mean a GREAT JOB.

How can you go wrong with waffle House food You know exactly what you're getting cuz any waffle House you go to serves at the exact same way. What made this one stand out was the courteous service I received from the time I entered until the time I left My server was incredibly attentive making sure that I had everything I needed and even warned me that the grits were kind of old at that time so I might try the hash browns instead which I greatly appreciate it. Five stars all the way around for service and honesty.

I visit this location at least twice monthly. Staff recognized this on my last prior visit, which impressed me greatly. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The wait staff team is always accommodating and timely, and their customer service is always friendly, which is reflected in the tip I leave. I highly recommend this location.

Been looking to venture out a bit in my new surroundings, and found a great eatery along the way in the Waffle House in Garland. IF I had to complain about any one thing about my experience it would be having to circumnavigate the two separate one-way streets and the veritable island that this particular Waffle House is on right between, um! Other than that, the service was excellent. The food was phenomenal, and the atmosphere ... well, it's Waffle House! Nuff said.

This location and the staff were awesome. We came because my baby girl wanted a waffle for her birthday breakfast. And they did not disappoint. The service was amazing. They played a birthday song for her. Some staff members went further. They all worked together. You can tell they love their job and coming to work. Me and my daughter's discovered we have a few songs in common that we listen to with one of the staff members(lol). The food came out quickly, and it tasted so delicious. Huge kudos to this location staff members.

Cody, Lil Bit, James, and Joe really know how to make a family feel at home! I was not expecting a perfect medium rare T bone at Waffle House but that's exactly what they delivered. Twice, actually. Waffle houses can be hit or miss in my experience and the ones that hit have a staff that likes to have fun thay promotes a friendly environment to be in. I really enjoyed my visit here and if this staff were at my location here in rockwall I'd definitely eat their more often. Keep it up

Okay I was very skeptical about this Waffle House until they shut down and reopened with a new staff, a great cook, and the inside is very clean. I ordered a chocolate chip waffle that was AMAZING, with 4 patty sausage, scrambled eggs with cheese that were made just right. I even ate the toast with just butter. It was packed in there. Love the food. Love the staff. Wherever I go. This location was super busy. But you just can't be too busy to clean. Table and chairs were pandemic appropriate but the floors and plexi partitions were gross. The ketchup bottle and salt shaker were also unacceptable.

The food was good but make sure to check your to go order for accuracy. I paid for pecans and chocolate chips with my waffles and the cook only gave me chocolate chips. I heard the cashier/waitress tell him both so I know it was not her fault.

Sunday morning is very busy and I know this although I do wish the dinning area were bigger. The food was Waffle house regular. Other than the efficiency at which the cooks cooked and servers served nothing really stands out to make this a more than average experience.

The server was good, all though him and the waitress was outside in a car, bus boy asleep at one end and possibly the cook sitting at the other end. The tables were all filthy filthy filthy, no ice in my water , plus extra stuff stuck around the rim and various places of my drinking glass.. I love waffle house . I would steer clear of this place. The food would be good , but the filthiness that surrounds you is horrible...

It took the lady longer to come get our order then it did for the men to make our food. The food was excellent. After we got our food the waitress never came back to ask if we needed a refill or if everything was good. They shut off half of the seaton area and shoved everybody off in one corner of the restaurant. The customer service could definitely use a little work.

The server needs to pay attention to the order, dirty glasses served, water on the floor without a sign, tables dirty when seated. It seems that the employees stand around to much talk to themselves instead of taking care of the restraurant and it needs of cleaning. The food was good. It might be time for a new manager who can see those things and make corrections accordingly. We normally go to the waffle house on oats and 635, which is always clean friendly never a problem with the order and great servers and cooks. This place can take a page from their book to be much better.

Honestly it’s hard to go wrong with Waffle House, you either love it or you don’t. I happen to love it. What I don’t love is a sticky table and a filthy restroom when you have 6 people standing around doing absolutely nothing. We were the only ones there. That’s lazy! At least the one by my house is clean; will not be going back to this location and would recommend others take a short drive to another location.

Ok place to have breakfast but sausage and gravy biscuits cold and rest of our food warm. Coffee was good. Server nice. Lots of chatter amongst workers...maybe that's why our food was cold? Maybe might go back or to different location??

I ordered 2 fried eggs, one waffle and a bowl of grits with cheese. My food was hot and fresh my toast was old and cold. My husband's waffle was under cooked and so was mine. The young lady who took our order was great but the cook seemed to be in a hurry.. I told the young lady that was poorly slop mopping the floor she needed to put a wet floor sign down and she replied " I really don't care at this point." I'll drive the few extra miles to the next Waffle house this place is ridiculous I only gave it 3 stars because the waitress was so efficient...

The treatment and attention my family and I received today at this location was very disappointing. The dishes were served almost "thrown" at us, and some waffles were served with a different flavor than what I ordered. The food at these restaurants is my favorite, but the service I received here was terrible. This type of situation drives customers to stop going.

Okay... I'll start off by saying that they were severely understaffed. This particular night we went I believe was the 21st of April. We were down for a women's conference and the restaurant was pretty busy with only three staff trying to do everything. It wasn't very clean, But again, they only had three people working. one server, one cashier, one cook and one of those three were trying to do all three. He was however very polite. But there were no clean tables. We had to clean our own til the manager could stop to even greet us. Except for at least 30 minutes before anyone came to the table and another 15 minutes after that to get a drink of water. By time, it's time to cook our food. Everybody was clearing out so it got out relatively fast. It was okay. I was starving though too. Lol I feel like if this establishment had a better staffed shift, The experience might have been a little better. Felt bad for them. The one who appeared to be the manager did a great job. It just was a lot for three people to handle, especially with the conference right around the corner. But I appreciate their hard work. They were trying at least.

Plastic utensils? At a Waffle House? What??? I love these restaurants, but I will not eat at this one again. It appeared dirty, I assume they had been busy because we were told that we could only sit on one side.

Our waiter was terribly rude, smoking outside and when he came in he failed to wash his hands and asked if we rather take our food to go because they were too busy. I turned around to look 1 full table and no one else. On the other hand the cook was nice and the female waitress were awesomely nice and professional. The food was fantastic cooked to the perfection and toasty. The female waiter waited on us because our waiter never came back only to bring out our ticket.

The food was ok. My eggs were slightly burnt bit the were hot. The hashbrowns taste like old grease. If you take a look at my picture you can see hiw my orange juice turned out. I will not be going here again.

I got to the Waffle House and placed an order, in which I can only do togo. Waffle House is terrible to go, my grits get hard my waffle gets soggy, bacon is not as crispy, eggs get stiff. It’s just an overall terrible experience not being able to sit down and enjoy my food hot and fresh. I used to love Waffle House and the flexibility of dining in whenever. I even understood when they did togo only on the weekends as intoxication is higher on those days so safety of staff is of top importance. But EVERY NIGHT, just hurts my heart.

Let’s talk LOGISTICS!!! I placed an order online. First hand when I walked in to pick up my order, the lady promptly handed it to me, I was surprised! I get home to realize my order was WRONG (missing items). I go back to pick up the rest of my order, the same lady tells me…as I explain what’s going on. That I needed to wait another 20 plus minutes for my MISSING items to get done. I questioned her why I needed to wait that long? Her response was ”we have a lot of orders ahead of you dine-in & online. I tried to explain it was not an initial order, it was their mistake. Why do I need to wait so long for your “my bad? Why would I need to wait for orders to get done who initially came in to your system after mine? When I ask for a refund because I didn’t get what I paid for and I didn’t have time to wait. Her response was to go online and figure it out. She didn’t know how to issue a refund. Instead of saying let me get my manager! She remembered she had a manager once things got heated and we started arguing. Then she thought about the manager! Where was your manager when I asked for the refund? While all this is going on and she’s in the back expressing to her manager what’s happening (hand signals and all). Another lady asks the cook to put my order on the grill, THANK YOU!!! All of this could of been avoided if the first lady knew customer service skills and time management. And if she saved that same energy she had clapping back at me to get your customers in and out. My order could of been ready way before we both lost our composure.

I ordered here last night around 11, my order was steak and eggs, the steak was so tough i couldnt cut into it. i even picked it up and tried to bite into it couldnt even do that. The eggs were over cooked and almost dried out. i was disappointed. never had this problem from any other waffle house.

Be careful using your credit card here. The person that checked me out took it upon herself to add a good tip for herself. That’s why I always ask for a receipt. Horrible service but yet tried to take more of my money for a tip. I hope they come and arrest you for this. And I’m sending all this to your corporate as well.

Food is great here, don't get me wrong. The server, Silvia, was great. The cooks turned the music up to a deafening volume that I couldn't hear the person 2 feet in front of me talk, in a loud voice. Worst service at a waffle house in Mesquite. Walked in the door this morning nobody in front of me. Standing in the doorway for approximately 3 to 5 minutes with no acknowledgment of my presence. I then took it upon myself to go ahead and grab one of the empty tables thinking maybe they just want me to see it myself. Usually when I go to waffle house I’m greeted when I walk in and told to pick a seat. This time no greeting no acknowledgment that we were there and after sitting, my daughter and I sat at our table for 10 minutes while nobody acknowledged that we were there and then I hear the employees arguing over who is going to take our table sense the table assignment apparently belong to nobody. I then sat there for a few more minutes thinking maybe someone was going to come say hello and take our drink order. Nope nothing not even I’ll be with you in a minute. There were several open tables in the restaurant and more employees then there were customers. After being inside waffle house for about 20 minutes with no acknowledgment, I decided it was time to visit a different location this morning. Wasn’t even acknowledged when we were leaving either.

The Service is horrible to me. I'm here now and I sat for 20 mins and no one acknowledge me. They look but didn't acknowledge. We been coming to this Waffle House for years and year never had a problem . But today was just ridiculous we got sit down at 9:30 we order the food it is now 10:45 when I ask they haven’t even called out our food yet. I get it is busy but when you have a full house of employees working you’re telling me you haven’t had the chance to make the food but are on top of the online orders and to top off Patricia Nancy whatever her name is trying to catch an attitude with a customer. Because that’s what I am a customer. Now with the new manager everything has just went downhill.

It was bad enough that I'm contacting corporate directly. I will tell you this tho. I used to go to that particular place every other night in the 80s n loved it, now it would be a sorry excuse for jail food. The people shouldn't be let out in public much less serve them. Come here after a long day at 2am just for the employees to have the doors locked. It just mad my day worse. Even though it says open 24h

“Cee” was absolutely rude not just to me and my family but to her coworker. She walked around eating ice cream micromanaging the entire time. I thought it was personal but she was overly rude to all the Togo guest.

I was told i couldn't be seated until my full party arrived. They let two other parties sit to be served even though i was there first. The two other people arrived only 2 minutes later. Because of this inconsiderate policy, we were left without a table and would have had to wait who knows how long for the next table. Needless to say, we didn't stay to eat after sich inhospitality. We certainly have eaten here before and have been seated multiple times without all party members present, and now it's all of the sudden enforced? Wow. Just, wow.

I Just reached home I was given a wrong order I asked for two sausages and they gave me biscuit instead. Disappointed

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Rude, not clean, and slow. We weren't greeted not acknowledged when we walked in. Food was awful, glasses were broken, and servers seemed very mad for some reason.

It’s currently hood at this location. I came here with my coworker and the table was dirty so I told the lady and she proceeds to tell us to stand up while she wipe the table down. Whole time she grabs a dirty towel from the counter and still didn’t wipe the table down correctly. So I said can you wipe here and she said that’s all she gone do and looked with a nasty nasty attitude and walked away.. this is my first time at this location and it’s not worth the coming to.

My husband and I had brunch/ breakfast there around 3:00 PM. The young lady came to take our drink order. We told her we wanted coffee with cream she brought the coffee and I said could you get us some cream, she said no, I am going take your order, I said we are not ready can you get the cream , She walked off mumbling something, she expressed anger by mean mugging me. She sent another waitress to take our order, I explained to the other waitress , we looking over the menu. I also explained how the young lady behaved. The food tasted okay. This is the only thing I ate yesterday wheat toast, eggs, 3 slices of back some hash browns. I have been belching the eggs. This morning I have diarrhea, my stomach is very upset. Maybe the eggs were bad or they put something in my food to make me sick. I thought I need to report it, in case it was not intentional, it maybe bad eggs. I told the second waitress before I left , I am sorry that the young lady was having a bad day and to tell her it gets better.

I have never felt so disrespected going to a restaurant, I came to this location on 02/19/26 morning time around 9am as soon as I walk in there was nobody at the door greeting the customers I sat down for about 15 minutes still nobody said anything at least a “we will be with your shortly nothing after a couple minutes more people started to come in and a couple was sat at a table before us that had been waiting for 30 minutes. Then I see the waiter clean a table and I started to head that way to sit when the waiter yelled at me for across the room saying that table is not ready yet. She embarrassed me and I was so mad and upset I just walked out. This location has very bad customer service I hope the company looks at this review and does something about this. I wouldn’t be returning to this location.

Chose to die in here tonight at about 830, however, did not go as expected. We were told to sit wherever we wanted and so we did. I went to the bathroom and came back. My mom went to the bathroom and came back and still neither of us had received any drinks or an asked what we wanted. There Were two waitresses and only one cook. Several tables in the restaurant, but the majority of them did not have any food. I could see the cook lining up the food, but still the food that was already on the plate had gotten cold. He was cooking everything individually, and therefore would cook the eggs and the sausage and one would sit waiting for the other. The staff was friendly, but we did end up, walking out and not ordering any food

I don’t understand what’s the point of placing an order if it’s not gonna be ready on time. They were also very stingy with the amount of hash browns that they gave me for my to go order and definitely gave me less than the normal portion.

Upon arrival I placed a to-go order. After placing said order I was told it would take about 25- 30 minutes for my order to be prepared, I ended up waiting an hour for my food. Once I got home I realized that my bacon was undercooked, my waffle was hard as a brick, and so were my grits. The staff was very friendly however they were very unorganized. This is definitely not a place I will be revisiting for breakfast.
