This place never disappoints. The food is delicious, fresh and the portions shareable. The staff is always on the move, friendly and professional. There's something for everyone on the menu.

Don Burrito is one of my absolute favorite spots in miami! I’ve been coming here for years, every time I bring friends and family they love it too. Please try the queso fundido with chorizo, you won’t regret it and you damn well won’t forget it. Ohhh the cheesy chorizo goodness. My go to entree is the bean burrito but the fajitas are good, the tacos are great and the chips and salsa they give you to start off are delicious too! There is also a bar that serves yummy margaritas! Sometimes they have live mariachi singing, which is awesome. The staff is hospitable, family owned restaurant which I adore. The good is cooked with love and you can taste it. You’ll feel very welcomed here. The interior is nice, thoughtful decor, great for big parties, a group of friends or a date night. Parking is also easy to find.

No words can explain how amazing this place is! We have s regular for a few years now and was devastated when they closed (for remodeling) But super happy to be back in and eating the best mexican food in the area!

Update: this restaurant gets better each time I go. Authentic Mexican food and great prices and great service! How do you go wrong. Beer is near frozen cold, margaritas are great. Never fails the best Mexican food in town. 100%

I have been going to this place for over 20 years... even when they were next to Sport Grill on Sunset and 100 Ave. This is as authentic as you can get! The portions and customer service are superior when compared to other restaurants. The owner is always there and she is easy to approach and have a conversation with... Be forewarned The chips and salsa are addicting! I usually get the Tacos Pastor (pork), but the beef fajitas are excellent and the Burrito Nortenio is outrageous! Everything that I have eaten has been delicious. Also, the fresh lemonade is more like a Slurpee make sure you confirm its the slushy type or you will just get ice cubes. FYI I have travelled and worked in Mexico and abroad for many years, so I know what true Mexican, Tex-Mex and fusion of Mexican cuisine is, so this place is as good as you will get outside of visiting California, Arizona or obviously Mexico.

My absolute favorite restaurant. I go every year for my birthday. I am from Chihuahua a northern state of Mexico so i find its pretty authentic and i love their fried ice cream.

Great food! I’m glad they’re open late too. The sauce for the enchiladas potosinas was amazing, it honestly tasted like it was homemade, and the chicken inside was flavorful and tender!

I fully recommend this place, it is amazing, food so good worth the price, atmosphere so good and they recently renovated and it looks so nice and cultured but modern. Its a family run business and you couldn't ask for better service. You can taste the authenticity in food and they service you such a good amount which is worth every penny. You should come here cause you won't regret it.

Love it, Best authentic Mexican restaurant in the Neighborhood. Excellent service the food was very delicious. Good portions. I had the fajita combo that includes chicken and steak, onions and green pepper, I also had the chips and salsa, which were very delicious and the chips were Huge! The salsa And guacamole tasted homemade and was very delicious. The staff was very warm and friendly, even the bartenders behind the bar go the extra mile! What an experience, came here for Mother’s Day and I’m very happy I did they had mariachis Food was amazing, had the mole poblano and my friend had the green enchiladas which both were so good. This is an authentic Mexican restaurant hands down. Margaritas were on point and amazing service. We sat at the bar and Alfredo was very friendly and approachable. Highly recommmended

Patty was magnificent…from the moment you walk in, it’s a smile and the best treatment! Thank you so much🙏🏾… The food, out of this world, succulent steak and juicy pieces of chicken with flavor hot off the grill! And the chips and salsa… chefs kiss… warm to the touch and the salsa was light but had a sweet spice that says, hmmm, you’re home cooked! Margarita was not to strong but had the punch that you needed on a long hot day, so I only had 1, but I want to come back and sit at the bar and just have taco 🌮 and tequila… The ambience was why I will come back as well, the music, the smell of food in the air, the staff and the feeling as if, they just cooked it for you when you ordered!! The best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to here in Kendall by far!!! Come here for the authenticity of a great meal and better service✌🏾👏🏾

Excellent food at a great price! I came here for the first time today (5-25-2024) because I saw a reel about the best Mexican restaurants in SoFlo and this was the closest one to me. I would have loved to have stayed an eaten inside but my daughter wanted to get it to go and eat at home. 😒 It was fairly quiet on a Saturday afternoon. They have indoor and outdoor seating. No one was eating outside. I ordered the enchiladas verde with chicken. My daughter ordered the shrimp tacos. They both came with Mexican rice and refried beans on the side. Both had three tacos/enchiladas per order. We sat outside and waited. It was ready in about 15-20 minutes. When we arrived home, the food was still hot. The chicken enchiladas were excellent. The sauce on them is a nice lime cilantro sauce. Very tasty! 😋 The meal is pretty big. I was starving, but was still only able to eat half of it. My daughter also had leftovers. She liked the tacos. They dice the shrimp up, which she liked. Altogether, after tip, the bill was still less than $50. I find this very reasonable for the amount of food and as delicious as it was. I would love to go back and enjoy a meal inside of the restaurant. Maybe have a margarita! 😉

I don't like this kind of food I have bad experience in the past, but this place make me change my mind about Mexican cuisine every plate I test is different savory the service is fast, very clean and the staff very professional. I went yesterday & I hadn’t been here for a few years & everything tasted exactly how I remembered it. The best salsa I’ve ever had I can literally drink it! That’s how good it is lol. The 1 star reviews on here about the food are honestly ridiculous. The people of Kendall will never be satisfied. This town is full of entitled & cheap people! This is why a lot of small businesses struggle here. I hope this restaurant continues to thrive. I will forever be a customer of theirs!

Yesterday I went to Don Burrito again, and my experience truly exceeded all my expectations. The atmosphere was wonderful. The music was good, and the service was excellent. I must say that we were a group, and we also had an elderly person with difficulty walking with us. The waitress who served us was very kind to us and very caring with my 84-year-old mother. She helped us choose from the menu and also explained the different options available for my mother to eat, as well as options for us, not only for food but also for different drinks. We are truly more than grateful and happy with her service. THANK YOU SO MUCH, NEIVIS. I hope there are always people like you. THANK YOU

I have been eating here for over 10 years, and have always enjoyed the food. The service is always spectacular, our favorite waitress Rocio always helps us and welcomes us in. We come very frequently due to the service we receive from Rocio.

My family and I enjoy going to have dinner here very frequently. The quality of food is always consistently good. But, the service is even better. Rocio always welcomes us with a smile, and our toddler loves her. She is friendly and knows exactly what we order each time. She makes a big difference in the restaurant and makes us feel like we are home.

Excellent food and service. Very good prices and fast friendly service. The location is fairly large and has a friendly environment. The menu is extensive and prices and great for the size and quality of the food. The atmosphere is slightly worn due to the high frequency of clients. However. It is very clean and spacious. The food was fresh and very good.

My brother had been encouraging me to try Don Burrito for quite some time, and I finally decided to give it a visit. I wasn’t sure what to order at first, but Nevis kindly took the time to suggest several dishes and explain them in detail. When she mentioned the chicken mole poblano, I was immediately excited to try it. The moment I tasted it, I was transported back to my grandmother’s kitchen it truly reminded me of her homemade mole. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service provided by Nevis was exceptional. I will definitely be returning every time I visit Miami, which is about once or twice a month. Maria

Portions are generous and fairly priced and the food is good (but a little salty). Ambience is cozy and nice enough but it gets crowded at dinner time especially on weekends.

The food is quite good. I got their carne asada tampiquena which was very tasty. A good size piece of meat that had good flavor. It was a little chewier than I would prefer though. The chips and salsa are very nice. The salsa is extremely flavorful and fresh!

Don Burrito has good Mexican food. The chips were fresh, and I loved their salsa. I ordered the "tostaditas al pastor". They were crunchy and tasty. The al pastor meat wast well prepared and tasty. The plates presentation was also good. The restaurant was very clean and their is plenty of parking.

I used to go to this restaurant all the time when it was located in the same strip mall as Sports Grill. They had a delicious dish that I always ordered, and I think it was called tacos al Pastor. I definitely remember it was described as pork marinated with pineapple juice, achiote, etc.; same as the description shown in the current menu but for a fajita, not a taco. I definitely remember it didn’t have green peppers, and matter of fact the description on the menu for the fajitas doesn’t mention green peppers either. But their current description of the Pastor taco didn’t say anything about it being marinated with pineapple etc., so I ordered the fajita, thinking I was mistaken in my memory. Big mistake. It came with dried out chicken strips and so much green peppers that that was the only thing I could taste, even after removing all the peppers and just leaving the onions. So that was definitely not what I used to order before. I’ll give them one more try and next time order the tacos al Pastor, and see if I like it better, and make sure it doesn’t come with the peppers. My husband did like his pechuga gratinada, but he also remembers it didn’t used to come with tomatoes and green peppers on top, and now it does. The takeout order was correct and everything else was ok, so we’ll give it one more try in the future. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, plus the cook is probably not the same one. That could explain it.

The food you can tell that it was microwaved the beans felt like can beans , you can get this type of food better and cheaper anywhere else there’s so many good Mexican restaurants don’t waste your time coming here if you want to eat good Mexican food .
