The food was delicious. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, and it was great. Our waitress was great. The place was really busy, but they seemed. to handle it all. Great place to eat.

Great place for food and drinks! Huge beer selection and traditional bar menu plus excellent specials and Irish fare including the best Reuben I've ever had! The staff is so friendly and it's easy to see this is a fun and easy work environment. Plenty of seating even with safe distancing, both inside and out. Trivia night is every Tuesday at 7PM as of this review and is always a fun time!

We got food to-go and brought it to Sherrill Park for a picnic. My hubby got the wings, says they we're among the best he's ever had. I got a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich on wheat, it was also among the best I've ever had. Wish I had taken pictures... The outside of the building is very unassuming, inside is VERY classy. Great place for Irish and American food!

If you want the best wings ever, you need to try the everything wings. They're amazing! The antipasto salad was perfect for 2 and quite tasty. Great bang for your buck. Service was impeccable.

My grandson discovered this gem when he was looking for something besides pizza and fastfood. We've gotten several meals to go, and keep going back for more! I've frequented Killabrew for a couple years now, and I'm not even a local! I used to stop by here when I had training nearby in Oriskany and I keep coming back! If you come here you NEED to get the Everything Wings!! They are the best wings I've ever tasted in my life and I will drive 3 hours from where I live, just to stop here and have wings. Everyone who works there is super polite and you definitely meet some characters there. It's a nice bar that I'll continue going to for as long as I can reach it. 10 out of 5 stars!!!

Service was great, wings were some of the best we ever had. Big wings cooked to perfection and a reasonable price. The coleslaw was even better than the fish and wings. Great beer selection as well.

Great food, honest & friendly staff. Went out for a late bite to eat and ended up leaving my wallet there with a few hundred dollars in it and all my cards. Nothing was touched and when I called they let me know they'd leave it up front for me. Not many ppl would do that nowadays, thank you.

While I cannot remember the bartender's name, she was petite & hair in a ponytail. Very friendly & engaging. Prompt service with a smile & checked in often if I needed another drink. I had a salad at the bar & ordered wings to go. They allow 2 sauces to be mixed and for a small cost, you can select all flats/drums. Wings were great and I will definitely return!

Good food, prompt no-frills service, and a great selection of beer. It's definitely more of a sports bar place with TVs on every wall, but they also had a pretty expansive menu.

I love their EVERYTHING WINGS I would definitely recommend if you love wings to try them. Ample parking makes for a great lunch stop in.

Went for dinner today and it was my first time here. Being a Buffalo NY Native, wings and fish are a known taste for me. I ordered the wings Xtra crispy with brown sugar Bourbon sauce for appetizer and a beer battered fish fry for my dinner. I have to say Killabrew Saloon you knocked it out of the park, HOMERUN. Atmosphere was great, food was delicious service was awesome. I give you 5 start all day. I will be back again, Cheers!

I’m in town for work and was told this is the place for football, cold beer and great chicken wings. I was not misinformed. They even accommodated my request for all wings, with no extra charge.

Food is a bit overpriced for what it is. But it’s still pretty good if you’ve had a few beers first.

Fun and, at times, roudy bar and restaurant. Food is good. Packed on Thursdays for wing night. Recently we went in a Monday (thrilled to find a decent restaurant open on a Monday) and enjoyed dinner with friends. Not crowded in dining area which made us feel safer due to COVID.

Great craft beer selection and probably the best wings in town. Their everything sauce is awesome. The do trivia on Mondays and wings night on wednesdays. Great place to watch a sporting event as well.

It's the Killebrew! Yes, it is pretty good in their nich. The owner (the owner Mike) does a great job. To respond to covid he made the back of the parking lot a patio with umbrellas. On a nice night like we had it was perfect. The staff was very good. No attitude. Let us take our beverages out on the patio. Very helpful. You should check it out.

Hubby and I are new in town and this place always looked like it wouldn't be a comfy fit for us. One night, we were out of options and we decided to try it. It was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted warmly, I wish I remembered the bartenders name, bright smile and very welcoming. She poured me my favorite rum while she helped my hubby decide on a new mule variation to try. It was a good time. Old vibe, old nsync and Britney spears music to sing along to and just regular menu of fries, tots and burgers. I'd go back. I appreciated her making us feel welcomed.

I have not been here in a very long time. I always loved it, the food and atmosphere. If I could give it a 4.5 I would. So, I feel obligated to round it up to a very rare 5 stars from me. The food and service were excellent. The atmosphere was also excellent. The one thing I would like to see is a bit more separation between the restaurant and the bar. Well done overall.

They have the everything wings here that are known in the area, reviews from my group said they were good and they recommended them to others the next day. Not many vegetarian options but they did have at least one and a gluten free option (flat bread (cauliflower crust) pizza). Atmosphere were was fitting for the name and definitely had a rowdy group at the bar. When we asked for recommendations for beer the waiter asked the regulars which I found funny.

We have been here a couple of times and the food was fantastic! How ever we went today with friends and the food was "okay ". There was 8 people in the place, it took 45 minutes for our food to come out. My husband ordered a coffee and the pipes were frozen for the coffee pot so they had to make a pot from a Mr.Coffee, it took 4 young adults to figure out how to use it. He finally got an Arnold Palmer. The French onion soup had great flavor, but Luke warm. They said the irish mac and cheese was good. The Ruben was okay. I don't see us going back anytime soon.

When I think of small neighborhood sports bar, this is the place. A wonderful beer selection on draft, including some locals as well as some hard to find beers on draft. My suggestion is the wings coated in there everything sauce, just be sure to grab a handful of napkins before you dive in.

$$. Decent stop for wings or a burger and some beers. Good micro brew selection. Biker friendly. Average prices for the area. Three stars is because the food is all over the place. No consistency. One visit a rare burger (as ordered) and the next a hokey puck. If you are forgiving, give it a shot.

Wings were great! French onion soup was kind of sour, steak sandwich was more bread than steak. The steak only covered half the roll. Service was slow I would definitely go back for wings.

I had 2 children with me, and we needed to get a quick lunch. We ate outside. It was Monday, so the last time this area was used was nighttime over the weekend. No one had cleaned up from that yet. There was garbage on some tables and some on the ground. I asked if our table could be wiped because I knew the last time it had been used was for a night of drinking. The bathrooms had not yet been cleaned from the weekend, either.

Food is great but I didn’t like that upon arrival no one had a mask on and there were 3 people sitting at the bar drinking less then 2 feet apart and no masks. They definitely were not essential workers. Just my opinion when we are trying to be safe.

We haven't stopped at Killabrew in a few years so decided to stop for a late lunch Saturday. Only a handful of patrons at the bar and only a couple booths and tables occupied in the bar area. No one in the dining area. Ordered food for our party of 6 and very disappointed with what was served. The Fish Sandwiches were skimpy, the Rubens were soggy and the French Fries were cold and barley cooked. Very disappointing from the quality product from years prior.

So this was me and my boyfriends first time here on Friday August 28th. We were excited as we've heard great things. We initially ordered jalapeño poppers but they were out (no big deal) so we got the fried mushrooms instead. Upon biting into one of the fried mushrooms they were overfried on the outside and the insides still had some ice from being obviously frozen. I ordered the cajun burger with Swiss and a side of sweet potato fries. I was disappointed when the burger was flavorless. It was fresh beef which is great but their seasoning wasn't in the beef just half hazardously sprinkled on top of the cheese. Sweet potato fries were ok for frozen and they did mix me up their version of Chipotle mayo which was great. My boyfriend ordered the fried seafood platter. The shrimp and scallops were great however the clam strips were chewy and over cooked and the fish wasn't that great. The cole slaw and potato salad were amazing as well. The waitress and staff were phenomenal i would have liked the food to be better though. Great atmosphere as well.

We were there for dinner and drinks. The service was very slow for being 1 of 2 parties in the dining room. Our food came out cold and had to be sent back and our burgers were so over cooked they were not edible. Our server was in complete agreence. The manager took our burgers off our bill and gave us a $15 gift card for our troubles. I have been coming here for 40 years and this was the worst. I hope it was just an off nite in the kitchen. There everything wings were really good though.

If your looking for cold beers and a mellow atmosphere this is your place. Only thing missing from from the outdoor setting was music. Wait staff was decent but the food was meh. We got the Ruben perogies which were exceptional! When it came to the main course the Shepard's pie was more goulash with creamy potatoes on top with a weird sweet taste to them. This was a massive disappointment. We also got the Ruben and the meat was very tender but flavor was lacking.

Everyone at my work talks about these wings. I tried them twice and both times I got rubbery under fried chicken. I dont get the hype. Servers are good

7/3/20. We have been to Killabrew many times in the past & enjoyed it, but first time back since Covid we were very disappointed. We’re from New Hartford & were glad to have a local place to get a great fish fry. Not at all what we got today. Fish was flat & just seemed overdone, the sweet potato fries were like frozen kind, and not crisp at all, and the regular fries were not good either. We also got a side salad which was pretty pathetic. What the heck happened?? Back to looking for a new restaurant close by. So disappointed🤨

I went to dinner here arrived @ around 415, only around 2 tables. The bartender was friendly and told us we can sit where ever is comfortable and told us or options we sat he grabbed us drinks and told us he would check in after a couple minutes. I decided I wanted a beer and went up and ordered that and also a chicken quesadilla and french fries. About 10 minutes later he came and took our order but didn't bring out good which was okay. About 5 minutes later we heard him yell" I need that chicken quesadilla and french fries before the BLT and chicken salad ( which we ordered) another 10-15 minutes went by and he brought our apps and when I told him that was a long wait he then said" our flat top doesn't always work with the chicken quesadillas" which I thought was very weird considering I work in a restaurant myself I know we would make sure that wasn't a problem. Anyways we eat and our food comes the BLT which I ordered extra bacon on ....had no extra bacon on one half .. it had 4 peices on the left half and 2 on the right. So I made the waiter aware and he brought more out..for my first time being here I wouldn't come back after my experience, I was looking forward to dining here because I've always heard nothing but good things about the killabrew.

I don’t know what happened to this place. Three years ago they had the best wings in town but now this is the third time I’ve come home with watered down sauce and pretty flavorless wings. If anyone has a suggestion that would be great!

Met friends for lunch. Had a dressed grilled chicken sandwich, which was very dry, tiny piece of chicken on a huge bun with one thin piece of lettuce and a small tomato slice. I did alert the waitress when she picked up our plates and asked how it was. My husband ordered Irish sausage Mac and cheese. It had six small slices of sausage on top. Not very appealing. Middle of the week on a Thursday and they did not have corned beef. A third of Items on this Irish Pub's menu had corned beef!! It was disappointing.

Would’ve been a one, apart from the Wings which were huge and cooked well. The Fish Fry's were the smallest pieces of fish i have ever seen. Very disappointed. Here visiting family and wanted a good fish fry. Picked the wrong local place.

I reviewed this place a year ago with better results, sadly after the last two times our experience has been less than mediocre. Sitting at the bar in front of staff lucky to get service because the bar staff is too busy socializing with their friends. Friday evening long after the dinner crowd around 8p, we waited over an hour for our fish. Sad, this was our second attempt in a month for them to regain our patronage the same thing happened the first time. If you aren't local, or the bar staff doesn't know you, good luck getting good service.

I usualy dont do reviews to ofter .French onion soup was realy spicy. Could not get the fish broiled which is on menu for some reason. Ordered the steak sandwich which had one small piece of steak of on each side,covered in cheese sou couldnt see . I did show waiter was still charged full price Was a bit chilly and u get a draft when the door opens . Over all was not a great night .

This was first time I have ever been to this Irish pub. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and fries, I was very disappointed. The fries were cold and overcooked. The sandwich had barely anything on it and couldn't taste the Russian dressing. Honestly I think it had some potential if it had more meat, kraut and sauce on it. Nice calm place people was polite. PRICE WAS MODERATE ONLY $42.00. But the only issue we have is that we ordered 20 flats and French fries, WE STRESSED WE WANTED THE FLATS EXTRA CRISPY! THE GENTLEMAN REPEATED MY REQUEST! They said 20 min I got their in 20 minutes went back in the car for 6. We recieved the food and proceeded to eat in front of the bar in the vehicle && I MUST SAY THE CHICKEN WAS VERY SOGGY/SOFT AND THE EVERYTHING SAUCE TASTE EXACTLY LIKE BUFFALO SAUCE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Wings were good but not hot and fresh room temp at best. At our table(10 people) all ordered wings and the place wasn't busy. We had to wait a soild hour just for wings. I mean send them out when they are ready. Some where hotter temp wise than others. The waitress used the extra crispy excuse. That would have added maybe 10 minutes. Maybe they fry them fresh, then that would have made the wait time make sense. Either way you should fry them or bake them almost all the way then flash fry to order.

We ordered takeout last Saturday night(6/6/20) I was excited because I had heard really good things about the wings. We ordered 20 of the medium wings. I’ll be honest these rated some of the worst I’ve had yet. The flats were cooked good but the wings were awful.. dried out and burnt.. my daughter takes off the skin and when she broke one open there was a long black hair cooked in the wing.. disappointed to say the least. It was busy but that was really bad. The lady who took my order was very nice as well as the lady who brought them out.. some of the wings were very dry.. and I wanted them normal NOT crispy. Maybe I just got a bad batch but I’m not about to take that chance again.

My daughter suggested eating here because they have great wings. It was Sunday around lunchtime. She warned me it takes a while for the food to come out. She ordered 2 orders of crispy wings and fries and I ordered (new to the menu)chicken Philly with fries. Our ice teas came out and the tea was skunked. Waiter got us different drinks. Quite a bit later our food came out. Her wings were not crispy and fries were soggy. My chicken Philly came on a small overly toasted roll cut in half. If you’ve ever had a real chicken Philly… the chicken is shredded. This Philly had long thick strips of chicken. The chicken was tough and could barley chew it. The texture was weird. It was covered with too much cheese and peppers and onions. The fries were mushy. I took one bite and did not eat anymore. I should have complained, but it took so long to come out. I would never come back. This Philly sandwich was $17.00. Not worth it at all.

I have eaten both takeout and dine in about a dozen times here. Usually the staff service is great to excellent. The setting is quiet and the craft beer selection is always incredible. However, as much as I hate to be "that person" I am leaving a negative review based on my experience today. I ordered pickup, and it was on time and the server was professional and friendly. The food however was horrid. It is no exaggeration to say this was the worst food I have ever paid for in my life. I ordered a shepherd's pie, and it was warm, but not hot (no big deal to be honest). The food however was extremely greasy. There were actual pockets of pure grease in my meal, and the paper bag had a grease grease stain from the takeout carry. It was so clogged with grease that the entire meal was thinned and the potato topping was loose and soggy. I'm assuming that this was an older batch still being served, which is normal for most restaurants and not usually a problem. This shepherd's pie was disgusting, and if this batch that I received was normal, it should be removed from the menu, and they usually have better fare. I mixed my meal to dilute the grease, but that just made it worse. I ate about a third of it, and couldn't continue. The pictures posted are of the remaining meal. Killabrew has quality service, excellent wings, and a great selection of craft beers. however, the stews I've ordered have usually been tepid to middling warm, and this experience has assured I won't be back for a while. It may have been a fluke, but it was extremely disappointing. Maybe it's new kitchen staff, I can't say. Honestly it's a fine establishment, and worth checking out, but be wary of the food as I've had mixed experiences throughout my patronage. Just got a fish fry..which was terrible the fish was burnt the clams and scallops were hard and we won't even talk about the shrimp..If I didn't live a ways away I would of taken it back. I have eaten here several times..never have my fish dinners been like this..next time I will check my food before I leave the restaurant..😡

Ordered for 10 people. All the food was awful. Wings were watered down and undercooked. Fish was soggy and old. Fries were freezing cold as if they were defrosted and not cooked. And on top of all this they got the order wrong. Did not offer any compensation for the fact they missed 25 dollars worth of food in my order.

My mother-in-law took me here for my birthday. I had looked at the menu the night before and knew exactly what I wanted to order. The ice tea was sour, they didn't have the kind of peppers that went on the sandwich I wanted. So, I ordered a burger, which was way overcooked! Very disappointing birthday lunch. 😞

So last time I went there was before the remodel,, had a drink at the bar and cheese sticks at the bottom of my basket was a dead bug !!!! Bartender picked up my basket threw it out and laughed and said " we don't have bugs in our food " we went back recently,,, for my birthday I wanted cheese sticks,,, they were way over fried!! My brother's fish and chips looked a like over cooked chicken finger and I have no idea what his chips were,,, the wing plate was so over loaded with sauce it poured on the floor as she brought it to the table !! Ordered loaded nachos and wings with my cousins for dinner. Got a container of crumbled piece of chips and nacho cheese ONLY! Called Kilabrew. They called back to say they put everything in separate containers. Well, we didn't get them. Went back to Killabrew and got a new order. Asked for compensation. Said they had to contact the owner. Worst customer service ever.such a hassle, doubt I'll go back.

Not sure why the wings were Ice cold when it so long to get them. Also..my friends mashed potatoes were cold and sour. The cabbage was brown and old. I was embarrassed that I suggested this place. I noticed a decline in the quality last time I was there but this was borderline food poisoning. Yuch! After years of being a big fan I probably will never go back. The server was sweet however she never asked us how things were. She probably already knew!

Ordered a Guinness, it was flat and tasted metallic (sent it back for a different drink). My wife and I ordered burgers, both were over cooked and tasteless with stale buns. Waited entirely too long for horrible food and service. Will never return.

Last Sunday was great. I sat at the bar with friends and service and food was good. This Sunday however, a friend and I entered to watch the Sunday night football game, sat at a table because the bar was full, waited several minutes and no server came to us. Had to approach bar for menus. Then had to get up to order from the entranceway. Several servers drinking on the job with a group of friends whilst ignoring customers(not just us). Food is good but service is terrible. If you’re a regular you’re good, if not you’ll be ignored and won’t get service. Will not ever return.

We went here for the first time on a day where the owner was out. Yes we ordered to go because of different tastes. My other got a surpise that they don't salt the fries, his panini was lukewarm, the bread had some grill indents but no press toasting or anything. I ordered the pierogies, thinking they were going to be good (they really sounded good) they were super floppy, lukewarm, and the taste was just off. The spicy thousand island dressing wasn't bad. The Irish Beef Stew.... sounded so good..... the meat was like chewing through leather (yes I ate the meat because I was starving), and what they don't salt with the fries they make up for in the salt lick of a stew. I brought the food back because it was so bad. I asked for a refund, they said the owner was out of town and would be back around the 6th of March and would be the only one able to process the refund. It's been about a week with nothing. So.... figured it was time to share our not so great experience. The woman I spoke to was nice. **Update 3/16/24** I reached out to the owner and got in contact with him on March 14th. He was kind, listened to what happened, and is supposed to be refunding the money. He offered a coupon for the next visit, which I declined. I appreciate the prompt attention to this and the offer, as long as I get the refund for the visit that's all that matters. We might be back to try again depending. **Update 4/1/2024** The owner never refunded my money. He said he was going to email his credit card company and cc me. He never did and haven't heard anything since that phone call on 3/14/24. Won't be back now due to this.

The Mac n cheese tasted really off, burnt but also weird aftertaste? Almost didn't taste safe enough to to eat. I'm not one to send back food. Just won't come back again.

Owners: Please check the video on the table between the Bullshooter darts games between 8:30-10:00pm; including the booth next to that 4 top. Please check the video of the kitchen staff in the restaurant area between that same time frame. Please check the area outside the kitchen door between that same time frame. The restaurant, good, beer was amazing but the wait staff and kitchen staff completely failed in my eyes as a 12 year restaurant worker in a similar situation. Please check the video.

I was racially discriminated against the other evening. It was a terrible experience. First the waitress said we had to wait 30 minutes before we could order another drink. We had only had a shot and a double shot mixed drink. We were there for over an hour. We gut food and went outside when we came back in we were told we were no longer able to get served. We were not drunk our acting in a knapsack at all. We were there for my boyfriend bday and it was absolutely unreal. I felt like I was being targeted and watched the whole time. Again I will say we were not acting in any kind of inappropriate way!!

7/2/23 Burger overcooked with no flavor. The food here is a travesty to your taste buds…ugh. No idea what they are doing but its wrong 9-10-22 update Totally gone downhill again. That kitchen is an enigma. Slow slow food snd overcooked wings with no sauce or flavor. Cavallo’s Is the place for wings now. This place is done. Food is mediocre but the wings are probably the best option but they seem to be getting smaller and smaller an are overcooked. Service is mediocre at best.
