Finally in Monferrato a real seafood restaurant 🐟 with exceptional raw materials, excellent fixed menu from appetizer to dessert including a fantastic spoonful of gorgonzola served at the right time, and wines and spirits, dinner with friends, one person with the need for an excellent meat menu, very friendly and professional owner and staff, I would say that 5 * is a bit too few, congratulations to Presto.
I was looking for a restaurant, a trattoria—basically, a place where fish and other local dishes were good. We finally found it last night. We had a lovely evening with excellent dishes. The staff and owner were friendly and attentive, and the service was perfect and fast. We'll definitely be back.
A good seafood restaurant in the hills of Alessandria. For those who want to eat fish, Aprerifish is the place to go. Great value for money. Five seafood appetizers, a choice of four first courses and four second courses. Highly recommended. Returned after almost a year. I can confirm the deliciousness of the dishes and the welcoming atmosphere. Every time you visit, you can find a new recipe. Returned after more than a year and found new recipes... as always, an excellent dinner.
Everything was perfect. Reservations are required and you must let them know if anyone doesn't eat fish. The set menu offers both raw and cooked fish, and delicious desserts. A wide selection of wines. Clean, the staff and owners are friendly and attentive to their guests' needs. If you like fish, this is the place to be.

I'll start by saying that I'm not the type of person who likes to go out for lunch or dinner, but when friends tempted me with a fish-based dinner at more than fair prices, I joined them. To make a long story short, I was so happy that I'm bringing other friends to have the experience. And I'm the one who wants to go. And everyone who goes has the same impression as me and wants to return. Aside from the freshness of the fish, which is undeniable, it's how it's cooked. I've never eaten fried food so good, but I've also never eaten fish so well cooked away from the sea. There's also some flair in certain preparations. The service is fast, you don't usually wait a long time for the dishes, and Stefano (who serves at the table) turns out to be a person who is attentive to the needs of customers and also very nice (it's not that obvious to find such characteristics). The association doesn't have many places. It's necessary to book well in advance, remembering that they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and that they only open for lunch on Sundays. ABSOLUTELY WORTH TRYING.

I had dinner with my family. The food was good, the service excellent, and the dishes delicious. My only small complaint was that I like the spaghetti with clams a little less al dente. (Personal taste).

It's refreshing to find a place in the Monferrato hills that serves good, fresh, and well-cooked fish. The raw fish appetizer is delicious, as are the other main courses. The main courses are a little more predictable, but always well-prepared. The desserts and wines deserve praise. Service is fast and attentive. In my opinion, the decor needs updating and redecorating; it's a bit bland. Good value for money.

After a long time, recommended by some colleagues, I went to this place. I really like it; it really feels like a seaside spot. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. For all these reasons, I'm giving it three stars. However, I was quite disappointed with the food, especially the appetizers. The raw tuna was the only dish I really enjoyed. I left almost all of the dessert... what a shame.
Nice place and friendly staff, but the rest... It works like this: a fixed menu and all the courses are decided by them, and that would have been fine if the food had always been different and good. The first course was raw fish, and since I don't eat raw fish, I can't comment on that dish. The second course was octopus, but it was poorly cooked and not good—overcooked, perhaps? But it was very soft, and the flavor is a no-go. Luckily, it came with mashed potatoes, and I ate that with bread. The third course was baby octopus, squid beaten with egg, and I don't remember which fish. But that egg was incredibly salty! And nothing, I didn't like it. Moving on, we find all the baby octopus, mussels, and tuna in a bowl of sauce with a scampi placed on top. All flavorless. And also an unusual dish, which in my humble opinion, having lived in a seaside area, makes no sense. If the fish is fresh, just serve it on a plate without sauces or creams and it's delicious. Anyway, moving on, we chose pasta with clams from three types of pasta, and this pasta tasted like pasta with oil and... clams (flavorless). And finally, the main course was the fried baby octopus, with calamari and squid, and I couldn't take it anymore... flavorless even fried. I tried the dessert, which was supposed to have sponge cake, etc., but nothing on that either. Unfortunately, it was a great idea, a nice place, but the dishes need rethinking. The price, €40 per person, includes drinks and dessert, would have been fair if the fish had been fresh...
