This is the worst sonic in east tx I have no idea how they stay open! I have tried this location 3 times and every time they are rude, the order is missing something or completely wrong, and the food and drinks are awful. One time I got tots and they looked like they got them straight off of napoleon’s lunch tray and they tasted like they were days old. If sonic the company is serious about providing exceptional service and food to the community of Ore City then they need to make a change in this location.

Food was good but service was terrible. Sonic use to ask if you would like any condiments but I guess now they just hand you a bag and walk off. Also they ask if you would leave a tip prior to your food, shouldn't of done that first. Usually you work for the tip, I guess it's just expected now a days. These employees are going to have a hard realization of life when they grow up and move on from this job. Food was great though!

Worst sonic ever Ore city tx...wanted a grilled chicken sandwich was told only had crispy and it was BURNT...Needs to be shut down and something else built....HORRIBLE

Took several minutes for the order to be taken. I was the only car on the lot. I ordered the egg and sausage burrito meal. When I got to the window I did not get acknowledged until food was handed to me. That took longer than expected. The person at the window did apologize for the wait. The tots were barely warm, the coke tasted like straight chemical and my sausage and egg burrito had 2 literally 2 pieces of sausage as shown in the picture And they were in the last couple of bites. By that point I figured I was just having an egg burrito. I was running late so I wasn't able to turn around and have it fixed. It's been a while since I have eaten at this location due to the same issues.

Waited 15 minutes in drive through no one took my order after asking me to wait. Then they motioned me forward and tried to give me someone else's order. Then they took my order which was 3 shakes...then I watched them give 4 people behind me their orders while I waited. The girl tried to give me all 3 shakes with no cupholder , I was alone in the car. After I left I realized one of the shakes had a hole in the bottom of the cup. Consistently Bad Service here.

This is our Second time stopping at this Sonic Location and both times it has taken 30 to 45 minutes for just a Medium Vanilla Shake. That's all we purchased both times! It would be different if they were busy but there was hardly anyone in the parking lot.

I couldn’t review the food, because we ended up leaving before anyone took our order. When we showed up, 80% of the stalls were out of order with no signs to indicate so… we finally found a stall, and the person taking the order asked us to hold (there were only 4 other cars there), and she never came back on the speaker to take our order. So after trying so many stalls, then being forgotten by order taker… we just left. We were traveling through, but I can’t believe how disappointing and run down this location is.

We arrived and tried to place our order by pressing the button only to have some one answer but did not reply when we started our order. We then ordered through the app. Followed by waiting over 20 minutes for our app order. Once they brought our food we realized we were missing the chicken strips and 2 smash burgers. We pushed the red button and we could not understand the guy on the speaker so we pulled around to the window to speak to someone face to face. We then sat for over 3 minutes while watching 2 people paying attention to a cell phone before coming to the window. We explained what was missing, a few minutes later the man comes back and tells us they are out of Chicken Strips and offers popcorn chicken and we say yes. Then he comes back a second time and says they are out of the smash burgers as well. I ask for a refund and I am instructed to call the number on my recipient. Once they come back with the popcorn chicken we ask for 2 forks for our chili cheese tots and chili cheese fries that we actually received. They came back with one fork and said they were low on stock and thats all they have. The young man who came to the window the first two times never came back once he instructed us to call the number on our ticket, instead he made another gentleman wait on is. I immediately called the number on my ticket for my refund and had no issues whatsoever dealing with customer support. Customer service at this location is lacking. I could understand if they were extremely busy but there was only one other customer in the parking lot and at least 3 people inside the building. I generally do not write reviews but tonight was beyond unacceptable especially for an order that cost me just shy of $50!

Foe Chicken

So firstly, this isn't against the car-hop. She was doing the best she could. I feel for her because the kitchen kept fouling the orders, and she had to keep apologizing for the mistakes she had no control over. We arrived at 7:30 pm, Saturday June 8th. We had two orders in one car, so we used the open air kiosks near the tables. Both groups pressed the buttons. It took then about 10 minutes to take our orders. It was hard to understand the person taking the orders because the speakers seemed to be messed up. It took an hour to get our food. After ordering, we waited another 20 minutes, and the hop brought two bags and our drinks. The food was wrong. We took inside and the manager couldn't seem to understand that what we ordered wasn't in the bags. He told us he would get it right out. It took another 30 minutes. The other group with us got their correct order, but it took abput 45 minutes for their food. The entire time we were there that poor hop kept taking food and drinks back inside because the orders were wrong. We watched one person get their order, leave, and then come right back because their order was wrong. Another woman pulled up, got out with a receipt, went inside, and came back out 15 minutes later with a bag of food. Some of the cars left without ordering because they sat there waiting without anyone coming onto the speaker. Some of the cars were there when we pulled in and were still there when we left waiting for food they had paid for. This is ridiculous. I have had trouble with sonic and incompetent employees, but this has been the worst one yet. Also, I think I was overcharged. I won't be back to this location. I wouldn't recommend anyone else use this place either. Find a different sonic. The one in Daingerfield seems to have it together.

There was a roach in the food. Not to mention we sat at the drive though about 5 min then pulled off thinking they were closed looked online saw they were open another hour so pulled back in to a car spot and was asked to pull through the drive through to order. Then they told us they were out of ice cream. How could sonic be out of ice cream?! My order of onion rings was a whopping total of 5 about the size of a silver dollar. Definitely would not recommend this sonic!
