Tuesday Bingo was great fun. The bar was busy and atmospheric, with a great vibe out on the patio where everything was happening. It felt totally welcoming and unintimidating. There was never a line for the bar, and the drinks were strong and good value.

Great bar just outside of downtown, drinks affordable and staff are very nice. Only issue is the long lines for the bars and the many customers that cut in.

A great place for a drink and some good friends

This bar was the saving grace to my Labor Day weekend. I had a great time and for my first trip to PS this became my go to place. The staff were friendly and made great drinks. The clientele were personable and made everyone feel welcome. The space inside isn't large but the packages on the dancers were! The outdoor patio was massive (see again dancer packages.) It was hotter than a hickory smoked sausage that weekend though so I had to be careful mixing the alcohol with the dry heat. I failed! There are different guidelines set for the indoor and outdoor areas so ask the bartender before you embarrass yourself like I did.

Came to pick up a friend but then saw their food truck so I ended up ordering food and staying for drinks. What an amazing soul the cook is! Made my order quick and got me some extras. Will definitely come again for those sliders and tots!

Was a nice friendly place the people who where working where friendly. The back patio area was great weather you smoke or not. They played great old school music which brought Bay area lot of happy times .

One of the friendliest bars in Palm Springs. Prices are competitive with competition. Owner, Rob, excels in caring about the clientele. A superb friendly environment.

Fun, sleazy, sweaty, bear bar. The average weight of the clientele is 300 lbs. Misters to keep the bear sweat at bay.

The staff can be a bit rude at times, but Brad stood out as a genuinely nice and attentive bartender. One thing to note about the Tool Shed is that they do not serve food. However, they do regularly bring in a food truck or vendor, so you'll still have options for a bite to eat while enjoying your drinks. One downside of the Tool Shed is that it is cash only, which can be inconvenient. They do have an ATM on site, so you can easily withdraw cash if needed. The highlight of the Tool Shed is undoubtedly the patio. It offers a fantastic atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and enjoying your drinks. However, it's worth mentioning that the inside of the bar is small and can get cramped, especially during Thursday underwear nights.

Fun gay/leather bar, especially on Sunday!

First time doing bingo at Tool Shed and it was so much fun. Great Saturday afternoon activity and hang out. Add to it a great staff with great service plus strong reasonably priced drinks makes for a nice afternoon on the outdoor patio.

Your bar is cute, but it would be even cuter is the three bartenders you have working actually took care of customers sitting at the bar instead of chatting and not paying attention. Fail.

Not the place if you have smoke allergies are just a non smoker. Cigar and cigerrete smokers have hi-jacked the back patio by sitting at the entrances and exits from the bar. Otherwise, the service is friendly and generally a fun place to spend money.

The bar does have a leather feel and the drinks are strong. They advertise drink specials but the drinks can be found for a lot less at the bars on Arenas. I now avoid the Friday night "T- Dance "promoted by a 70 old nearly naked women mooching all the guys in the bar. The food truck on weekends in the back is a nice touch decent food and reasonably priced

First, if they aren't already, they should pursue whatever license they need to have an outside bar. It's ridiculous to have 3 bartenders (all inside) on such busy nights. I've been on off nights when it's dead and it's the same number of bartenders. Doesn't make sense and people don't want to wait 20 min for a drink. The new misting system on the patio is a disaster -- well I guess depending on who is operating it. On the busy nights I've been there, it's like a rainforest for a few minutes then it's turned completely off. People get hot and cranky and overheat and go inside or leave. I've been on a Sunday afternoon recently where it was putting off a constant, even flow like most misting systems do in PS, so I don't really get why it can't be the same on the busy nights. Seems like a staff training issue. A few tweaks would make the bar a lot more comfortable and appealing.

I really appreciate the community aspect of the tool shed but it's kinda janky. The staff used to be horrible but looks like they have been thankfully replaced. The cigar smoking is pretty gross too and I wish they would keep it to special nights or sections. And cash only in 2025?!? 🙄

Staff, depends on who you get and or what mood they are in, can be very rude. $2 Sunday bud light draft 👍. Tuesday music bingo could be awesome, but definitely not enough room for a crowd(too small of bar). New patio open, but… Doesn’t do any good when there are still only 2 bartenders. More people, no more help(staff). Ridiculous. Not worth it!! $6.00 draft bud light besides Tuesday.. Another, not good

The one time I visited this "establishment " and your filthy troll alms the door and says " I don't know what you are on u can't go in:" I laughed ,.someone needs to go get his ged. I was the only one sober. 2nd of all I will never go back through that threshold is filthy., I'm so offended,,

STAY AWAY!!! Shed this place. Unclean, pretentious people work here. This joint is a trashy disease-filled place to get expensive drinks. The dancers are gross. The owner is dishonest and has no morals whatsoever!!

CASH ONLY! The bartenders are a nightmare and will give you the wrong change back so watch your transactions. Very shady that it’s cash only. Entitled, inefficient and nasty staff. There are definitely people working there that should not be in customer service. Bring a raincoat for the patio misters.

Really like used to go here until after tonight I get it was underwear night and I was really excited to go but when I got there, it was crazy and that’s fine but when I got to the bar and I asked for a margarita, he told me he couldn’t serve it to me because it was too busy but all other bartenders were giving mixed drinks like that to all the other people. The older guy with the white beard literally told me I couldn’t have a margarita and give it to me later. The problem with that is I didn’t want it I came to get that and it’s a bar. If it’s gonna be busy and you can’t handle that then you should not be in this industry. I don’t know who the owner is, but I came out here for pride, and they already started off with a great bad review for you guys

Love this place but there is a very rude bartender named Todd who when I ordered a drink when the music was loud. He asked me a question and I coule Not understand. He called me an old man. Never going back.

We visited the evening of 6/18/23. The inside bartender (skinny brown-haired guy) was very off-putting with my partner and I from the beginning. When our straight family came to join us for drinks, he insisted on seeing IDs when he had served us without asking for ID. Was very rude and condescending. When we decided to leave he angrily snatched my partner's drink from his hand and lectured us instead of simply reminding us to leave the alcohol inside. I've been to many different gay BARS all over the country, but have not EVER been treated as poorly as we were here. I will definitely be back to PS. But I would not recommend ever giving this establishment your business. Some people were treated well. But as visitors we were treated as an inconvenience and an annoyance. NOT a good business model IMHO.

Wednesday night, was slow. Bartender very unfriendly. Asked for drink and about himself working as bartender. Said I was interrupting him. Looks like a fun place but this bartender is anything but, over pours and dismissive of just casual conversation. If you go here, just don’t go to Chris ( bartender). He hates the job and apparently being anywhere halfway polite to customers. I did not feel welcome for one second. Only 2 other customers in the place and he was dismissive of me when I asked general polite questions. Obviously did not want to be there. Looks like it could be a fun place but the bartender made me feel as if I had walked into any homophobic straight bar, i.e. you’re not wanted here. To make things worse, just purchased a home nearby so this would have been my neighborhood bar. I know about this line of work, many years at DB leather club as lead bartender in KCMO.

The bartender that has a face like Peter Dinklage completely ruins the vibe here, rude, not friendly whatsoever. The other bartenders are totally fine and the Eagle like vibe is there; but leaving a 1 star because this bartender brings this place to the ground. Has no business being the face of the bar. Would love to change this review once he’s gone.

Count your change. Because the bartender will shortchange you. I gave the bartender a $20 bill for a drink that's $4.50. I made the assumption that he gave me the correct change and went about my business. When I counted the change later, it was missing a $10 bill. I confronted the bartender. He vehemently denied that I had given him a $20 bill. So I'm out $10. I may have lost $10 tonight, but the bar has lost me as a patron for life.

Well, I had a pretty horrible experience where I was looking to patronize this establishment, as I'm traveling and add time of incident, I was stranded I had to set my bags down somewhere in the back, and I was trying to work myself down from a bit of a anxiety attack, I hadn't gone out for quite a while and it was a little stressful; the bouncer proceeds to talk down to me and just told me to go. Really kind of gave me a bad taste in my mouth. And despite the fact that I owe my life right now to gay people, I sure didn't make me feel welcome in any fashion.

Bartender all but refused to serve me. I have no i dea why. Other than he wanted to make me feel uncomfortable because I'm the only black customer. He was extremely rude for no reason. I wish gay spaces were comfortable for all gay people. This one didn't even feel safe. Just a heads up if you a vacationing person like me.
