Houston’s is our go to, date night restaurant. We visit 1-2 times a month. We go for the delicious food, but return for the amazing service- particularly their manager Charlie. He is always smiling, always welcomes us by name, and is hustling to support his team. With that kind of leadership, it’s no wonder the food is always amazing and service is outstanding. Highly recommend the Thai Tuna roll, smoked salmon, and ribs! We will be back next week!

A delightful evening at this wonderful restaurant. The food, the wait staff and the ambiance were all top notch. Our Ruby Red Trout and Double-Cut Pork Chop entrees were perfectly prepared and plated. Both were served piping hot by the attentive wait staff. Our water glasses were never empty. I'd recommend starting with a Jackrabbit cocktail and finishing with a slice of the superb key lime pie. Yum!

10/10 with absolutely no notes. Fresh, in house made everything with top tier service, fabulous ambiance & delicious drinks. They do have a light dress code. No tank tops, sports attire, flip flops or hats on gentleman. So come dressed well. They have an amazing cheese burger 🍔 in house made sushi (I love the shrimp roll..uggh! 😩🤌🏾), steaks, ribs and more. The key lime pie for dessert? Shieeeet... you won't find a better dining experience within 50 miles of HOUSTONS. They have absolutely immaculate service as well. Chefs kiss. Absolutely no notes!

Houston’s Pasadena – One of the Best Meals I’ve Had in Years I wanted to follow up and say that Houston’s absolutely blew me away. I ordered the pork chop and it was hands down the best pork chop I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and honestly unforgettable. We paired the meal with a few dirty martinis, and everything just hit perfectly. I left fully satisfied and genuinely impressed. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in recent memory.

Mary at the host station/bar was such a great beacon of light at the end of the tunnel. We took on a gamble for a group just looking to enjoy a night out after long shifts at the hospital and our 1.5 hour quoted wait time felt like it melted by with how attentive she was and making sure our idle hands had libations. After we split into our smaller groups we're greeted by Anel whom controlled her area like the main gear to a beautiful machine. Extra hands flowing every which way to drop off our food and she was right there to compliment the interaction and make sure we were comfortable while making it seem casual as she navigated to her other tables. Freshly cut fries with the texture similar to our favorite fast food, in and out but the aoili/remoulade beats it by a long shot. Succulent French dip even before a light dunk into the au jus where the jus is on par with a proper steakhouse like the Derby. Lightly acidic with a great balance of bittersweet and savory salad to cut through the extra greasy food and presented in a way that feels like it was worth the price tag. We tend to enjoy our dinner here regardless of some of the rude patrons but this lady visit, these two shining stars deserve the spotlight for the extra glowing service they provided. Pro tip: Heed the signage and find parking around the corner else you end up looking like the problem in a lot that looks like it barely accounts for the number of tables available inside.

We went to Houston in Pasadena for a family dinner celebrating an exciting new journey. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent — very attentive and friendly. This was my second time dining here and it was just as good as the first time. Highly recommend for both special occasions and regular nights out. We all really enjoyed it!

Houston's Pasadena is always excellent...today it was OUTSTANDING! Manager S. Martin interacts professionally with his staff and customers. I recommend reservations, but host will work hard to seat all. Many customers seem to ignore the restaurant's dress code which only makes them standout. Highly recommend the chips and fresh guacamole and the jumbo lump blue crab cakes if available.

Houston's is a reliable favorite for a reason! Every time I've visited, the ribeye has been cooked to perfection – consistently delicious. But honestly, the standout for me is always the seasonal grilled artichoke. They are truly amazing, with that perfect char and tender heart. On top of the great food, our waitress Anel was absolutely the best. She was attentive, friendly, and really made our dining experience even better. If you're looking for a solid steakhouse with fantastic sides and excellent service, Houston's is a great choice.

I cannot cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. First time here, recommended by others. It is pricey as it is a steakhouse. We had reservations and got there a little early and they were able to seat us. Every single person we came into contact with was absolutely amazing. Friendly and helpful. The bartender Mitch was amazing and recommended some amazing drinks. Our server and everyone that assisted her was absolutely amazing. Beyond friendly and gave recommendations that did not disappoint. Very clean facility. Restrooms were nice, small parking lot available and street parking. Highly recommend and will gladly return.

The sushi wasn't great but heavily recommend the baby back ribs. The service was exquisite. Reasonably priced and everybody there was nice. Would heavily recommend it.

Probably one of the best kale salads I’ve ever had. Four of us ordered pretty basic items. Mine is the kale with Ruby Grapefruit with palm heart and a few pieces of avocado. It's a bittersweet review. Everything was perfect until the end. Liz, our server was beyond amazing! Patient, friendly, lovely, knowledgeable. The food is fantastic! The Asian manager gentleman seemed helpful at one point, too. However, when we ordered our Chocolate Martini with our dessert that we always order at every restaurant we go to, even here at Houston's 2 years ago, we were told that they could not make it. They do not carry any chocolate liquor. They can't make an Espresso Martini, either. Needless to say, that's one of the most popular drinks in restaurants these days. Ok, I was tying to work with them. How about a vodka, Bailey's, Kahlua chocolate syrup cocktail? They don't have Kahlua. OK. How about the same without Kahlua? Well, the bar doesn't have chocolate syrup, it would have to come from the dessert station. Fine. How about just vodka and Bailey's? The manager said they couldn't make it. (I don't know if it was the Asian guy who helped me earlier or the other manager, but one of the managers. I truly believe that a place like this would need more seasoned and mature managers.) At this point we were spending $500+ for 3 people. To refuse to make me a drink when I was really reasonable and was trying to work with them was unbelievable! Ok, how about some dessert wine or port? They don't have any after dinner drinks. Are you kidding? Not one dessert wine or port? How can a semi-upscale restaurant that serves steaks and various desserts not have ANY after dinner drink? It's outrageous and ridiculous. I tried to send a message to their corporate office, but of course, they own hundreds of restaurants and no one will pay attention. You can also only type 1000 characters in your message!!?? Anyhow, they ruined our night. It was my husband's 50th birthday. I am a Restaurant and Wine Manager at an upscale steak restaurant in Los Angeles and I was stunned about the fact that not only they didn't have any after dinner drinks, but they they refused to accommodate my request. What a shame! I will not return until they make sure they carry at least one port, one dessert wine and one type of chocolate liquor.

I’ve been a loyal guest at Huston’s for many years, and each time we’ve visited the food has been amazing and the service outstanding. We’ve always spoken so highly of the restaurant to our friends, family, and peers, recommending it often because of the consistently wonderful experiences we’ve had. Normally, my spouse and I come without our kids, but this time we brought along our 11-year-old daughter, who happens to have the palate of an adult and absolutely loves steak and sushi. We thought it would be a special experience to share one of our favorite restaurants with one of our favorite people. We all dressed up and made it a memorable outing, and while the food was still amazing as always, unfortunately, this visit was far from what we’ve come to expect at Huston’s. The interactions with the staff felt different from our usual experiences. While I understand the restaurant doesn’t have a kids’ menu, I didn’t anticipate that our entire experience would feel so unlike every other visit. If we can’t share our favorite place with our daughter and still receive the same warm hospitality and consistency, it makes us question whether Huston’s is the place we want to continue supporting. This visit left us disappointed, which is not something I ever thought I’d feel here.
