Red Fox Pho

My favorite new restaurant in Poughkeepsie! (They took over the former Red Fox Deli space across from Marist, which is where most of the earlier reviews here were for). Everything they make is very fresh, tasty and the service is enormously friendly. It's a former deli from which they haven't changed the decor much, so I'll ding them one star for Atmosphere, but I eat here at least once a week. Check it out!!!

We ordered Thai Tea, Shrimp Fresh Rolls, and the Brisket Pho. The food was amazing and the service was very good. They were very friendly and happy to be serving us. The prices were reasonable and the Pho bowl was really big. Would recommend this place 100%

The owner has a knack for restaurants. Whatever she touches is gold. The food here is amazing. Unique menu and much needed in this area. I love the bubble teas! Crazy! Many blessings to this new spot! I look forward to going again!

I wanted pho and saw the recent great reviews so it was a no brainer to come check them out. I ordered for pickup and the grilled pork pho was ready within 15 minutes. It was all so very flavorful and I would definitely go again!

I'm a student at Marist, so I've been to this place a few times already. I have been satisfied with my food every time, their rare beef pho is delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy, and the workers are very friendly. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys well made food.

The chicken pho is really well done. Had no idea red fox eatery became a pho place!!! It’s absolutely delicious, Marist students come here if you need a comforting meal. They said they are soon going to take Marist Money. Great prices too.

Pho was delicious. Vietnamese coffee was in a massive mason jar and also delicious. Whole thing came out to $22 which is a steal. The owner was friendly and welcoming. This place is a must eat. If you didn’t know now you know, ya welcome.

We ordered a few bowls of beef pho's, shrimp summer roll, grill pork summer roll and the grill pork bánh mì sandwich. Every dish was delicious. The pho soup is spot on and comparable to other places that we have been to in Queens, NYC area. We really like the summer rolls and bánh mì sandwich as well. I like that they offer different protein fillings for the summer rolls. This review is for take out/pick up order. Everything was packaged well and survived the 10 minute drive back. This place will be our new go to spot for Vietnamese food in Poughkeepsie!

Too Much

I absolutely love Red Fox Pho. Their food is above average and the customer service is so welcoming. The Brisket Pho is quite literally the most delicious pho I've had throughout my residence in Poughkeepsie. I also highly recommend the Beef Banh Mi, oh my goodness...it was insane. Thank you so much for bringing authentic Vietnamese cuisine to my doorstep.

Hi- I’m a marist freshman and I ordered the brisket pho and grilled chicken summer rolls. Definitely some of the best food and the chefs were incredibly polite and accommodating- very kind people. Would definitely recommend, so much so that u can’t even post any pictures because I ate all the food-

Great little spot. Affordable sandwiches that taste great and come out quick. The owner is incredibly friendly and willing to make anything work. Nearly didn't go in because of how few reviews they have, but super glad I stopped by! Give them a chance, the sandwiches are for sure worth it 👌 😋

Very tasty Philly Cheese- could have had a few more peppers/onions for an extra flavor blast, but overall it didn't disappoint. Staff was super friendly and the establishment appeared to be clean as a whistle. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Tasty pho and mini shrimp rolls served out of a tiny restaurant next to a gas station. Easy to miss location. It's the kind of spot I'd hit daily if I was a student at Marist. Need to come back to try their Bánh Mi

Very nice guy but probably the worst chicken cutlet sandwich i have ever seen. If you can even call it a chicken cutlet, it’s 2 frozen battered nuggets along with microwaved bacon and plastic cheese. I would expect deli cheese and an actual chicken cutlet from a place that calls itself a deli very disappointed. (Pho was decent though)

Very nice guy but probably the worst chicken cutlet sandwich i have ever seen. If you can even call it a chicken cutlet, it’s 2 frozen battered nuggets along with microwaved bacon and plastic cheese. I recently placed a to-go order for beef special pho, banh mi, and summer rolls. Unfortunately, the restaurant failed to package the pho broth properly (unsealed lid, large vent holes, and lack of plastic wrap around the container) so all of our food was soaked and half the broth was missing. Value-wise, the pho had the least amount of noodles I've seen. I called the restaurant to let them know about the broth (who wants hot liquid all over their lap/car?). The nice girl working the front offered an immediate refund, then called back to ask me to come in as she and her manager needed my physical credit card for the refund. I came back a few days later and the manager said he "could not" give me a refund as it was "unfair" and blamed the girl repeatedly for "not knowing" in a very hostile manner. He said he could give me a "credit for the broth" which I declined. Would you want someone angry at you handling your food? Please do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.
