Absolutely love Woody’s. Moved to Redding in 2014 and it is the place I take all out of town guests too. Routine taps, seasonal, staff specials, all are great. While there’s a ton of IPA and Hazey options, I prefer the stouts, porters and this Tripel. Burgers, taco Tuesday (carnitas are my favorite), mac and cheese, can’t go wrong. I’m not a professional with food photos. You’re lucky I took any before devouring another meal here, which is why you don’t see the loaded tots.

My wife and I dined at Woodys Brewing Co. recently. They have an extensive craft beer menu with lots of variety. I’ll review a few of the beers first - then the food. My wife likes ambers. They had an Irish Ale and a British Brown ale. Our server (great guy - also a bartender there - Gage) recommended the Brown Ale - told her it was a little milder. I ordered a West Coast IPA that had a lower IBU than most - Quickie. Both beers were delicious. I tried my wife’s Brown Ale and it was very smooth with a slight “crispness” - a bit surprising for a British Brown - but was well done. Spot on as the Brits would say ;-). The Quickie WC IPA was great - a little hop nose - but a fill hop flavor with a light bitterness at the end. Again, well done! We decided to split a burger and one of their salads. Their burgers are 1/2 lb and enough for both of us. We ordered the Woodys Burger - classic cheeseburger (we ordered Gouda - delish) with lettuce, tomatoes, some onions and what I believe are their homemade pickles. Wow, it was out of this world - burger cooked medium as we asked, the Gouda complimented the tomato and lettuce - and the star was the crunchy, tasty pickle slices. We split the burger in half and both of us devoured it - no leftovers this time ;-) What surprised us and really stole the show was the Wedge Salad. The menu did mention it was 1/2 a head of iceberg cut in quarters - but this salad was huge, full of chopped tomatoes, crunchy bacon bits and a drizzle of a balsamic creamy dressing. My wife is normally not an iceburg fan - but we both dug in and couldn’t stop eating it. The combination of the tomatoes, bacon and that creamy dressing along with the crispness of the lettuce - wow, memorable. Highly recommended. After eating the burger and getting our complete fill of that salad - we still had some salad left - and Gage kindly put it into a takeout box for us. I’m mean, how often do you take a salad home as a leftover? In this case - for certain :-) Overall - it was a great dining experience with delicious food, fine beer and a great server (Gage).

Great food and friendly service. If you are in the area, try it out. I had the wings, and my wife had a harvest soup. We enjoyed them both along with hand rolled tater tots. However, the berry cream hand pie was Amazing!! Check this place out. It's very good food.

My wife and I ate lunch here today and it was great way to end our trip to Redding, California. The food was terrific and the rumors are true, try the tots, they are Amazing. Lets face it though you can get a good burger or a good brew anywhere nowadays, I would come back here because the service was superb, thanks Erik. The atmosphere upbeat and the feel of the restaurant was refreshing. Their willingness to work my diet and my wife's diet was great, we eat differently. Even though my wife and I don't drink, I bought a growler for a Christmas gift. To work up a good appetite go next door to the Antique store, it was wondrous.

Great food! Definitely recommend their Philly cheese steak!! Or honestly anything with their beer cheese!! Cheese was so good I asked for some to take home. Also loved the house made tots! My son ordered the Mac and cheese off the kids menu and they gave him a great portion size! Most places don’t give a good sized kids meal and my son ends up picking off my plate. We ordered a flight to be able to sample some beers they had and the Oktoberfest ended up being our favorite!

Very inviting atmosphere. Really fast service. They have a great cherry cider on tap. We ordered the California chicken burger. The chicken was very done. We also ordered the Mac and cheese, which seemed to taste like horse Radish was in it, and also the chicken alfredo, which was very dry. They have very large portions. Their fries are really yummy. I asked for a gluten-free bun, which they charged me two dollars extra for. For the chicken burger and cider, it was $30 without tip.

Can't say the beers were excellent, but they sure hit the spot. The food looks great and smells even better. I'm excited to return here to try everything on their menu at least once! The staff is great and the interior is super spacious and clean. You'll easily enjoy your time here as it makes for a great hang out spot.

Outside Patio Seating Dog-Friendly Delicious Food. Especially their tater-tots. Crispy but light, melts in your mouth. Best eaten when fresh/hot. Burgers were nice & juicy. Wish it’s wider not taller as you can hardly bite into it. Server was very nice & accommodating. wish she would have properly worn her mask (her nose was exposed).

Ordered the Pork lettuce wraps to-go for lunch. I was excited about these because I love a good lettuce wrap. I took my first bite and the pork was extremely salty. Then I realized I was chewing a huge piece of fat. Completely grossed me out. I couldn’t take another bite after that. Disappointing considering I paid $18 bucks for lettuce wrap stuffed with fat. 🤮

We were in the middle of a long road trip and this looked like a good place to stop and have lunch. I really wanted to like this place, and it did have friendly service and good beer. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries and coleslaw. Food took a long time, and was room temperature. The coleslaw was pretty bland, like lettuce in a weak mayo sauce. Ate my warmish fries and left still hungry :/

We were seated by a friendly server almost immediately. However, our wait time exceeded 45 minutes (after we ordered). When our food came to the table, both mine and my mothers looked badly overcooked. My mother had fish n chips, and I had a smokehouse burger (medium). I usually do not complain. But waiting 45+ minutes to receive overcooked food seemed ironic to me. My burger had nothing in it except cheese, a squirt of BBQ sauce, and a giant onion ring that I had to take off in order to eat the burger. My mother told the waitress and she was nice enough to remake the fish n chips and remade it quickly. I just ate my burger, not wanting to complain, after all it was still edible food. I used to love Woodys, but this is my 3rd time trying to give it another chance. I don’t know what happened to cause such a decline in food quality and wait times, but I hope they figure it out.

The atmosphere was good and beer was good! But the wait times were horrendous. We waited at the “please wait to be seated” sign for about 5 minutes before anyone working there even acknowledged us. After being sat it took about 20 minutes to get our order placed. Then an actual 45 minute wait for our food to be delivered. The food was good but I’m not sure if the hunger was seasoning it or not. It wasn’t super crowded when we went either, it just seemed like if you aren’t a local (which we aren’t) then you’re a second class citizen.
