Went there for my birthday with several family members. Was seated right away. The food was delicious. And the guy tended to us quickly.

Definitely a must if you are in San Antonio!! Menudo was awesome, tripas were great.... And the barbacoba was off the chain..... Wait staff was friendly and attentive.... I'll be back....

I've always passed through this place and it's always busy which tells me it's some good food so I decided to try it and let me tell you... Perfection!!! Fast service and food was absolutely delicious and very highly recommended!

The bbq tacos were HUGE for only 2 dollars, the meat was really good. My wilded guest is that the meat was processed with some kind of ingredient called skill and the art of love for making every meal at it's most flattering flavor. It sure fueled my day. Thank you!

I love their a la Mexicana tacos with their crispy bacon. This place has 3-taco specials, lunch specials, a selection of soups. Love going here when I am in the area; plenty of seats and parking; family friendly.

They follow the 6ft rule and other procedures. Sat down and ordered food and was ready in less than 10 minutes food is very good and tortillas also.

Why is it everytime i go to San Antonio i always want to eat Mexican food. I think is because of all the Instagram videos I see where that have places with 5 lb cinnamon rolls. We this time I pulled up my Google reviews to find a good restaurant near by. After seeing the reviews we decided to give this place a try. I decided to have pork chops and my friend had Fajitas. The food came out quickly and tasted very fresh. Now the only problem i had was they had no desserts on there menu. No flan or tres leches, nothing for my sweet tooth.

The 3.99 cheese enchilada lunch special is delicious. Every morning they have the three taco deal. Three tacos for 2.99, of a select menu. These tacos are very good and can't beat the price. Staff is always very friendly and place is very clean. Stop on in and enjoy. FYI, you can't get in at 1:20.

I hadn't been to Rositas in years and it did not disappoint. The food was great. The service was awesome and I will be coming back to eat again in the future. I took a party of five and everybody enjoyed their plates. Update: the food was still delicious and the staff was still really nice. Had caldo de Res this time and it was great ❤️. I love that they give you chips and salsa with your lunch.

I must say, I finally came to this restaurant. the atmosphere, the service, and the food were beautiful. is not like other Mexican restaurants with many decorations, but this place does have beautiful decorations, not many as I hope to see, but pretty nice. located right next to hwy 90. The coffee was good. the ladies with smiles, which is to me a very important factor. Please, pay them a visit.

Great experience with the family. Even though the water was low, just got to find the deepest parts of the river. Great for tubing and swimming. We rented a cabin, beds were comfortable, we got the loft, cabin, duplex, and comes with a kitchen, bath room has toilet paper, but advised to bring toilet paper just in case. And if you enjoy looking at the stars like me and my better half do, you can see clusters of stars beyond the mountain cliffs, very majestic sight to watch and enjoy, since your out in the country, theirs no light pollution. They have a store in case you forget some basic items, the staff there are very warm and friendly.

I got the beef enchiladas, which was actually cheese enchiladas with a beef sauce on top. I did enjoy them though. For the price you get a full plate of food and it was very filling. The server was also very friendly, though I didn't get a refill while I was there. To be fair, it was in a to-go cup, so they couldn't see the level of the drink.

Our waitress was lovely. Today the food was a little off, and that's okay, because we all have those type of days. What really determined that this would be our last visit was the rude behavior the cashier, and possibly owner of the establishment, offered us. She read aloud, but to herself, the ticket as she rang it up. My husband caught her stating that we had guacamole in every taco, he then corrected her by saying that we didn't have guacamole on a particular egg taco. She stared at him, fixed the mistake, and completed the transaction. He said thank you to which she said nothing and walked away. If only one thing of all these things was worth the while it's simply not enough to come back. My husband works hard for his money and we bless whomever is at the receiving end of it, but we certainly don't need to throw it away on ingratitude. They obviously don't need our blessing and their food isn't good enough to take their rudeness; it makes for a bad dessert capper. The following was a good review I no longer stand on, after all this was the 3rd time we've encountered her charm. Joseph Rosendo (travel host of his own show) always ends his show with a quote by Mark Twain "Travel is fatal to prejudice." What does that have to do with this comment, you wonder? Not much, except that sometimes the opposite is true. Rosita's has been just blocks away from home for me and I have ostracized it, refusing to give it any business for 15 yrs after a not so good experience. Well my prejudice was my loss. I gave it another try and found out how good it actually is! They use the cheese I like (American,) their flour tortillas are very nice, their coffee excellent. The capper to my meal was this Awesome guacamole chalupa, a real palate cleanser, and oh how delicious! My only 2 qualms are that the hot sauce is not very hot -no problem I bring my own- and that the smell of fabuloso from their mopping is a little overwhelming. I reiterate though, that the food is well worth it Thank you Rositas for a job well done!

My husband wanted menudo for breakfast I was passing by and decided to stop. The staff was nice and friendly when I arrived. I ordered a large menudo and 3 potatoes tacos. The order was done in no time. I took the order to go. When I arrived home everything was well packed. We received enough napkins, salsa, and spoons. The menudo wasn’t the best tasting but it was menudo. The potato tacos were the best and the tortillas were well filled with potatoes. If I’m in the area again I will stop again.

The first time i came here was about 2 yrs ago, the tacos were horrible. I was never going to go back but, my mom ordered tacos today 1/13/2021so i tried them again. I gotta say either they changed their chef or they finally stepped up in their Kitchen. The carne guisada was bit over the place ,some fat, but good . The sweet tea was ok . Today is Monday the 6/10/21 we had the enchilada plate for 6.99 they were tasteless and very greasy and the waitress could have told us that we could have ordered the special of the day two enchiladas rice and beans for 3.99 so we pay $2 more just for one more enchilada would I go back nope. Okay I lied I have gone back since they remodeled and ordered their special 2 enchiladas rice and beans and to flower tortillas it was actually really good so I went from one store to three stars.

I have driven by this place many times never feeling the urge to try yet another Mexican restaurant but i enjoyed the experience. I order 3 tacos of which all were a generous serving and at a very reasonable price. The coffee was good and the service was not bad at all. The ONLY opportunity i saw was the Guacamole that I actually ordered on my tripas taco and the barbacoa taco, was served with that dark little black film that guacamole gets when its been exposed to the air with out being covered with plastic wrap directly on it to keep it from creating this nasty film. The fact that the cooked served it like this, makes me ask questions like, "why are you cooking if you don't care about the food you serve?"

The cheese was almost tasted like velveeta cheese which I'm not fond of, my husband ordered the puffy taco's which looked more like a small crispy bowl , in which he found it hard to eat unless he dumped the bowls out and put them in a flour tortillas, not much flavor by itself so he did add plenty green sauce. I'm glad we tried this place, but we won't be back again.

Directions were pretty spot on and was easy to spot. Got the carne guisada taco it was pretty good had a nice taste to it and the tortilla was good homemade, and the fries were ok. The waitress was nice but not too helpful in helping deciding what was good to order. The place itself was pretty big and the menus were in the table so no hassle of being given menus and having to turn it, was all on one page. Only downside was they didn't have any lemonade and just bunch of sodas even bottled. The prices are really reasonable and not that bad, they even have specials on certain days that are really cheap. I'd say I would go back to give it a try again but they do close early in the week, I went on a Monday and they closed at 2pm. So check the times.

I had ordered the cheese enchilada plate and the red tortillas were either not cooked right or old. I couldn't cut through the enchilada. I told the waitress and instead of fixing the issue she asked if I wanted something else. Yea no thank you.

Missing 3 tacos, whoever took my order didn't even try speaking Spanish back to me. Cashier was on her personal phone, and was very nonchalant. Second and LAST time going there. Same experience on both visits.

Drive thru order. Ordered one bacon and egg, strip of bacon please and two carne guisada tacos with a lemonade. She asked an egg taco?! We said no. Got a bacon and egg mixed instead of the strip as requested. Bacon was burned and hard. Two guisadas and an egg taco after we said NO. Tortillas were folded inward at the ends making tacos not fully filled...Maybe they will pay attention next time. Oh wait... They'll be NO next time.🙁

First and LAST time coming here. My boyfriend ordered a pancake plate and in the eggs was a hair. I went up and told the lady and she told our waitress who I felt got offended that we wanted a new plate made and wanted it to go, now keep in mind we were there only 20 mins tops. Then they brought the new plate but instead of sausage with the pancakes like we had they gave us bacon so we just asked them if we can just have the sausage instead of bacon and our waitress scolded us when handed the to go box to be corrected. We waited for our to go box and when handed to us she walked off with so much attitude and we looked inside and it’s like they just threw the food in the box. I give this place a 0/10 never ever coming here again. THEY ARE SO RUDE HERE !! The waitress was a women in her 40s or 50s with black hair and black glasses and she has braces.

HUGE Downfall for this place is that they will literally refuse service 10-15min before closing yet they have people still in there building eating. I waited for someone to take my order prior to that time and yet no one did. Your better off spending you money elsewhere with good customer service.

4/26/21 - I had 2 glowing posts for this place. But, after today's rude treatment we recieved at the hands of the owner/cashier. I take it all back. She acts like she is angry at the world. She doesn't greet or thank. A Very miserable soul , I feel sorry for her. She seems to have forgotten that the Customers are the ones that keep the doors open to her business. Gratitude is the key to a joyful life. You give it and it comes back to you. Well the Universe/God gives, and takes away from those who don't appreciate the gifts given. Whoever worked the drive thru on 9-5-22 7am needs to quit talking to someone while taking the order. She can't do 2 things at once. She kept on repeating the order wrong. Not hard to say 3 chorizo and egg tacos. I left,went to McDonald's who got the order right.

Did not enjoy my experience or food this morning. Drive thru lane took so long 2 of 3 cars in front of me gave up waiting and drove away without food. I should have done the same. Friendly lady came out to my car to get my order. Paid at window and drove away with my food order. 3rd time getting the wrong food thru drive thru. Not gonna drive back and wait again. Hungry and defeated, reluctantly attempted to eat anyway only to discover my food was also cold. Restaurant hours posted read open until 2pm. I have been refused table top service at 1:30pm on one day and have been refused drive thru service at 1:45pm on a different day. Rositas is conveniently located but not worth dealing with getting wrong orders, wrong hours posted, parking lot full of potholes and cold food.

The waitresses loves too ripoff people especially the lady that works the drive thru. She will overcharge you when paying with a credit card. Example I was charged $5.30 at the window and she charged on the card $6.30 when I noticed it on my bank records Ask for your receipt and check it before leaving. Can’t complain about the food.

The waitresses will run you out if you even show up close to 1:30pm They close at 2 and will start mopping at 1 making it very obvious that they want to leave. I’ve seen them run off plenty of people (making them get up from the table) including big groups that are good for the business. If your restaurant shows that you are open until 2pm, do it! Don’t run off business! Think I’ve seen the owner (little older man) who shows up at closing time. You would think he would see all this happening and put a stop to it, but he’s too busy being a player with the staff.

First of waited about 15 minutes after making the payment. Second I asked for no sauce on my huevos racheros so they were sneaky and put it on my potatoes. Third the bacon is burnt like crazy. Horrible!

Brought me a cold ass chicken puffy taco and when I tell the waitress, the waitress was rude. The older lady at the register was also rude when we tried explaining about the cold taco and still trying to charge for it. If she was the manager or owner they need to learn better customer service. Will not return back. There are way better restaurants compared to this place right down the street.

Every time I go to a Mexican restaurant, I always feel a little uneasy about the cashier and charges. So here's my receipt. We ordered 3 bacon and eggs tacos, 1 carne guisada , 1 sweet tea, 1 horchata and 1 pancake. So how do I make sense of these charges??? (Puzzled) aside from this, the bacon tasted expired, the eggs were dry. First and Last time. This place is not for me.
