I’ve tried 7 or so different dishes from noodles, to soup, to different veggie and meat dishes and I love this place! So convenient that they are open until 1:00am, just make sure to place your order on grub hub or call about 30 min ahead of time and give them a good chunk of time to get your food ready! Food does great reheated and in the fridge, usually not a big fan of leftovers but everything I’ve had reheated nicely for days! Also if you are looking for an updated menu check the grub hub menu, that one is correct!

We had planned to visit Poom's restaurant as we heard and read wonderful reviews about the food. In fact, we couldn't wait as we had our first meal here after flying in to Los Angeles from Hawaii. The restaurant was open late and the owners warmly welcomed my family and friends; a group of six. The food was delicious, authentic, fresh, and plentiful. We chatted with the delightful owners who took the time to make sure that our late dinner experience was satisfying. Needless to say, we all were impressed with the food, service, and hospitality at Poom's. I can understand why many locals and college students enjoy this restaurant. We were even invited to sign their wall. (there's a back story on how that began) Poom can expect us back when we are in town!!!👍🏼🥘

This place is magical. The food is great, the service is so nice, and the ambiance is cozy and unique, with plants growing wild and a couple of friends playing actual records on a portable record player at a decent volume. It’s just unique. Not fancy, but homey and comfy.

It was a like weird that the food was served in to-go dishes instead of regular dishware, but it was absolutely delicious. The Masamun curry was dead on, and super citrusy, which I really liked.

I’ve eaten here a handful of times now and the food is always delicious, with good portions. Met the owner tonight (Poom), and he and his family are so lovely!! 5/5 stars!!

Best Thai food in Santa Monica hands down. Poom served us and was exceptionally receptive and amiable with our group. I highly recommend the Thai basil chicken and Panang beef. The Thai iced tea is also a must!

Poom Thai Cuisine is an absolute gem! This charming, intimate restaurant offers a cozy dining experience with limited but comfortable seating. The warm ambiance creates the perfect setting for an enjoyable meal. The food is exceptional! Their Pad Thai Rice stands out with its perfect balance of flavors and a brilliant touch of lime that elevates the dish. The Drunken Noodles with Shrimp offer just the right level of heat - flavorful and spicy without overwhelming the palate. The Pad See-Ew with Noodles is expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. Oh! And we tried a coconut ice cream with peanut toppings that was lovely treat! What truly sets this family-run establishment apart is the outstanding service. The father-son duo running the restaurant are incredibly gracious and attentive. So sweet. Poom's friendly and professional demeanor and excellent attention to detail with orders make dining here a delightful experience. The genuine warmth and passion they put into both their food and service make this restaurant truly special. Highly recommended for authentic Thai cuisine!

Poom is just straight up the goat. This restaurant is so fire. The curry is great, the noodles are amazing, the rice is incredible. The environment is beautiful there are fish tanks, plants, and beautiful art on the walls. Poom poom poom Poom poom

This was the sweetest little family restaurant. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is quaint and intimate. It was authentic and traditional Thai cuisine. The menu was extensive and had very good vegetarian options.

We had a late night take out. Ordered spicy thai fried rice, i didn’t have any complaints.

Good customer service. Restaurant is pretty cluttered at night. Spicy food is good but not enough protein. Just a lot of vegetables.

The food is fresh and decent. The Veggie Tom Kha soup was nice but little salty and strangely did not have bell peppers or other veggies - just mushrooms and Tofu. The Tofu also was too soft and crumbly. The red veggie curry was more yellow but tasted decent with rice. Service was slow but that's ok as I could see the food was being freshly made right in front of us. Rest everything is bare bones with every inch of the wall covered with customer scribbles and assorted plants. More of a take out place rather than sit in. Nice thing is it's open late till 1am and the folks are friendly. Not really cheap but not too expensive either. Had more expectations from what looked like an authentic Thai hole in the wall restaurant. Won't go back for sit in dining especially for veggie menu items.
