I’ve driven past here a few times on Sunday cruises. Made the stop this time and I’m glad I did. Let the very nice waitress make the suggestion for the meal - she picked well as that burger was a banger! I over did it with the funnel cake fries as I was riding solo on this trip. But they were so good. It was going to be a long and active night anyway. I needed all this good local restaurant fuel. I’ll be back.

Wife and I did a date night and couple weeks back and really enjoyed ourselves. The food portions are big (my burger was huge!). We will be back again so that we can try more food options they have to offer.

I’ve passed this spot so many times & finally had time to check it out today! We were out running errands with some time to spare so hopped in for a couple of drinks. I had the best Moscow mule I’ve ever tasted & my mother said the same about her margarita. Decided to scan over the menu & couldn’t resist trying the fried green beans. Absolutely delicious. Gorgeous & welcoming inside bar/restaurant area but since it’s a gorgeous day, we sat out on the patio. Kid & pet friendly (must be leashed), large fenced in turf grass area for the kiddos to run around & full stage where they host some of the best live local music around! Saw some awesome specials like Taco Tuesday, Steak Thursday, etc. Prices were very reasonable & plenty of parking. Wish we could have stayed longer but will be back again soon. Perfect spot for some afternoon drinks, family celebration or even a fun date night!

We are in the area for the winter months. We really enjoy experiencing everything local - stores, pubs, restaurants...you get the picture. We have passed by Max's Roadhouse quite a few times and decided yesterday was the day to stop by and have an early dinner. Online reviews were mixed with good and not-so-good, but the shining reviews helped us choose. And we are so glad we ignored the negative ones! We were immediately greeted and seated ourselves on the bar side when we arrived early around 4:30pm. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a treat. Music was playing but it was at a decent level and had a good playlist. My husband had an IPA with a Roadhouse Cheeseburger with Fries and I ordered the Hill Country Margarita and the Beef Tacos (2 large ones.) The server was attentive, prompt to respond, and just a delight to meet. The drinks and food were delicious, too. In fact, we had so much food we took some of it with us when we left. Thank you, Max's Roadhouse, for a wonderful dinner experience!

We really enjoyed this place. We loved the atmosphere. Mostly locals having a drink after work and playing pool. The burgers n lots of french fries are delicious and I loved the jalapeńo poppers ! My hubby had pulled pork tacos totally delish. We will defensively return!

Service was fantastic! Very family friendly for those looking for great food and fun atmosphere to hang out. Decor is awesome and doesnt feel like most bars when you walk into. Theres a bar side with pool tables and a dining side where you can still enjoy family one-on-one. Food was delicious, highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms and the cheese sticks. Was a bit disappointed on the chicken wrap; what little guacamole there was was all at the end and the chicken wasn't that seasoned and tasted kinda bland but still the good outweighed the bad. Highly recommend!

The only reason we're not posting 5 stars is the pizza oven was down, and we didn't get coleslaw with our fish & shrimp meal. Our server was very attentive, and, even though this a bar/restaurant, the noise level was just fine.

Nice roadhouse sports bar. I’d go back if I’m in the area. Lots of TV’s. Good drinks. They messed up a drink but made it right quick and gave it for free. Food was good for a sports bar.

This an interesting place. You walk into a bar with pool tables & other games then you go outside to a live band. There wasn't enough cheese on the pulled pork sandwich to classify it as a pork grilled cheese. Just call it Pull Pork with cheese. The appetizer came after the meal was served.

Definitely a modern roadhouse feel. We were there on a Thursday evening so obviously a drinking kind of time of day. We're not really drinkers so I can't make comment to the bar service but they don't seem to be as available to refilling tea glasses. The food was good. I really enjoyed the fried green beans.

We entered the restaurant at 8:07 and received our first order at 8:27. (Rest of it 8:37) The wings were warm but dry.There was a feeling that they were using old oil, but overall it wasn't bad .The rest of the food was delicious and the portions were large.I liked the fun atmosphere.We had a good time at the pool table.The music was too loud for conversation, but I liked the food, the friendly staff, and the reasonable prices.Will be back again.

Great food! Great entertainment! The waitstaff was moving as fast as they could to keep up with the crowd. Everyone is very nice. You should stop by for a good family fun time.

Empty Nest Adventures

This was our 2nd time. Not sure what’s happened but the food has taken a wrong turn. We had the fried green beans and the bacon wrapped jalapeños as appetizers. Our table literally laugh out loud as we counted 12 green beans and that included the partial ones. You could barely see them under the container of ranch. I mean, we thought it was a joke. Mentioned it to server and she said they were really watching the portions. So I figured we paid over a $1 per green bean. The bacon wrapped jalapenos were as good as we remembered but they too were 1/2 of what we got last time. Not worth what we paid. The two burgers and Philly cheese steak were adequate but not something to order again was the overall sentiment. The pizza oven was broke so we couldn’t try them. Waitress was super sweet but sadly we won’t be back again! At least for the food. We weren’t drinking but we have had margaritas in the past and they were good back the .

Server was attentive and very friendly. Food took way too long, they had a big party when we walked in, but they had already gotten thier food. It was only us and the big party in the whole place. Food took like 40 min to hit the table.
