Ordered our wedding cake here and they did such a great job! The flavors were delicious and the artistry was on-point. They also have simple "emergency cakes" available for last minute celebrations. Grabbed a lemon zest cake for my last birthday and it was delicious!

I've been going here for a while now, off and on, and parking can be a little tough.   This is one of the reasons I don't go here as often as I'd like.  Typically,  when I go here, there's usually a line going out the door.   This time around, it wasn't busy.  The lady who helped me was ok. She didn't really talk much.  Didn't really give many recommendations. Inside, it's pretty small in here.   Basically, enough to see what items they had on display case, order,  and pay.  There is nowhere to sit and enjoy your snack. I ordered: Chicken pesto pizza puff:  This was still nice and warm when I purchased it.   It had lots of chicken with a slight hint of pesto.  I inhaled this, but it was so satisfying.  It's a little messy but delicious. Pepperoni pizza puff:  You can never go wrong with pepperoni pizza, in my opinion.   This does not fall short. Beef empanada:  Light and flaky on the outside.   Inside it was nice and meaty.  It's a hearty snack. Brookie:  First bite, it tasted like the ratio was off mostly brownie.  As I got towards the middle,  I found a little surprise. It looked like an oreo cookie in the middle with a thin chocolate cookie bottom.  I thought this was pretty fun. Peter rabbit: Deliciously moist.  Perfect balance of cream cheese and carrot cake.  I enjoyed that there were no nuts or raisins. Chocolate raspberry filled:  I was disappointed with this one.   It tasted more like a black forest cake than raspberry.  I'm not a fan of cherries with chocolate cake. I was a little sad that there wasn't raspberry filling in the middle of the cupcake.   Cupcake itself was dry. Overall,  a good experience as usual.   This time around, I didn't get any drinks.  I hope to be back sooner rather than later.  Prices, I think, are reasonable.

Amazing snacks!! Ordered Nutella tres leches. The BEST tres leches I’ve ever had. The mocha and lemon cupcake was top notch. The service was great, very kind people. The cake decorator is amazing. Her cakes are a piece of art, it looks like her cakes came straight out from a tv show.

I love their desserts!! Tres leches is good but have you ever had their UBE Tres leches!!? Omgahhhh!!! If you haven't, you definitely need it in your life!! Tara, Jade and their crew always bring the finest goodies to your table!! I personally love their savory menu items!! Beef empanada is my fave along with their polish dogs!! Give them a visit in ssf!! But save me one empanada!!

This review is long overdue, but Tara, Jade, and the team are simply amazing. I celebrated my 30th birthday in January, and the theme of the party was Friends. I requested a Friends-themed cake, and I was amazed by the result. Everyone was very easy to work with, and all of my guests loved both the design and the taste of the cake. You have a customer for life in me.

When I was about 14 years old, I was warmly welcomed into the home of a Filipino family from church named the Constantinos. Dorie (the mom), gave me my first taste of Ube (taro) with a ensaymada pastry from Goldilocks! Put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds- Hmmm, love at first taste! These days, there is what I call the Ube-fication of everything: ice cream, shakes, cookies, pancakes, boba.... Cake Queen makes a fascinating Ube tree leches cake! I also tried the beautiful looking rainbow 🌈velvet cake! My sweet tooth on steroids!

This is literally my favorite cake shop in all of the bay area. Their cakes are delicious, and not overly sweet. You can taste the difference. Sadly we have moved to the east bay, so we don't purchase cakes from them as often as we used to, and I have tried other shops but nobody compares. For any special occasion, or just because, I recommend cake queen 10x over. So delicious!! Whenever we are in town we get one of the cakes that are ready to buy. They're such a treat.

I was recommended to get the dirty chai latte and the ube tres leches cake. The ube tres leches cake is hands down one of the best things I had ever! The dirty chai latte was meh. Highly recommend their baked goods! There isn’t much place to sit and eat though.

We have tried most of the offerings (everything from birthday cakes to cupcakes to empanadas). Everything is delicious. As others have noted, there are often lines (I think this is many people's go-to coffee shop). I am pleased to see a local store succeed. I do wish there was dedicated parking because the crowds bring all manner of bad car behavior. Sending wishes for the stores continuing sucess!

Decided to order a cake for my chocolate loving teenage daughter. I got the smaller size which was perfect for 5 ppl and a slice of breakfast cake for her the next day! It was a perfect cake! Highly recommend!

Had guava pastel and coffee. The pastry was light, flaky & soft, just right. The filling is well balanced. I haven't had any pastry this good, even twice the cost. The coffee is tasty but too light for the pastry, though. And there is only a bench to sit out. I ended up sitting on a cement bench in the shade next door by the health care center.

I found this cute little place by searching IG for Bay Area Cakes and came across their social media. Came down about 130pm and they still had a pretty good selection left. We got a few cupcakes, Italian soda, and a chicken pesto baked item. Starting with the cupcakes, for me they're way to dense not necessarily dry but it's a mouthful, although the flavor makes up for it! The Italian sodas were a nice light flavored soda. I am used to American soda having a bunch of sugar but this wasn't too bad. Lastly the Pesto Chicken bake item was so good I should've gotten them both. There was a line forming as we were finishing up our transaction and overall they place is worth checking out. Also the girl who's helped me was very nice had a great smile and very welcoming. I will definetly be back to try other items out.

Cake decoration was good but that's all where it ends. Strawberry shortcake was dry. Fondant was too thick and dry as well. Wish I could give a better rating but overpriced cake is going in the trash.

I am a huge cake person and I always refer people to what I like. I was a fan years ago when Angela was still baking, after she left the quality was crappy. Ordered wedding cake samples and they were so dry. The cake we got during covid was poorly put together, looked like a child made it. They lack customer service and would not recommend. If you want moist, good quality cake and dessert avoid this place.
