Service 💯 Food 💯 Ambience 💯
Absolutely fantastic!
Our first time here and we were impressed! The owner Albert and all the staff were so welcoming! We enjoyed every bite of our delicious and mouth watering cuts. Such a large selection like the choice of wines🍷😀 The appetizers were good too. Definitely coming back very soon🥩 Eyal S.
Ignore the Denver Cut Steak. It's chuck and not worth 90.00. Everything else was amazing.
If you want the best steak in town, this is the place to go. The selection is excellent, and you can tell they really care about quality. Everything I’ve had here has been cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and consistently great. You can really taste the charcoal grill — it gives the steaks that rich, smoky flavor that makes them especially delicious. What really makes this place stand out is the people. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and Albert, the owner, always goes out of his way to make sure everything is just right. That kind of personal attention is rare and makes every visit feel special.
Food was exceptional. Everyone was satisfied with their choices. Two kids and three adults. Server was terrific too.
WOW best steak in Thousand Oaks, Best steak in Los Angeles... drink selection just insane what an experience
Excellent atmosphere if a bit loud. If you are attending on a busy night plan on shouting to the person sitting across from you. The food is excellent with standard high end steakhouse fare served to perfection. The service can get a bit slow but you are here to enjoy yourself and take your time. Plan about 2 hours for your entire meal including appetizers, drinks, main course and desert.
Probably the best steakhouse have been to! Sorry Mastro's and Fogo de Chão lol, still love Mastro's and Fogo de Chão though, but this will be the new spot for go-to steakhouse. Old Oaks Steakhouse atmosphere is top and high-end with a huge wine display at the entrance, a view of the meat locker of the meats they offer, a massive bar, live music/guitarist, and an on-vacation vibe outside patio, all feels very exclusive. Went for parents' anniversary and the night was great! Our waiter, Emma the best service and her sense of humor made the night for my fam even better. Respect to the chef! Food was amazing. Next time definitely getting my steak medium rare! =) Especially since learned that aged = pink but no blood! 😄...and that medium rare is where it's at. My popp's med rare steak literally melts in your mouth! But medium/+ was really good as well! Love the caesar, baked potato, broccolini, desserts, charcuterie board, and the drinks! Might try the chef's special next time! Much respect and appreciation to the friendly owners, maître d', hostesses, our waiter, and the chef! Was a perfect night, atmosphere, food, and service! Thanks! 🙏
Quality of food is my highest priority when eating out. This is exactly what TO needed, a high end, creative, healthy, and delicious steakhouse! Splurging on a decadent dinner, this place is a foodie’s dream! The sweet potato gratin was not what I was expecting, yet 1,000 times better!!! Absolutely brilliant and obviously the steaks were incredible. If you’re up for a special/unique experience get the A5 wagyu starter where you cook your own thin slices on a piping hot salt rock.
Had dinner last night. First time there, will definitly go again! Crab cakes, 18oz dry aged Rib Eye (shared) .
Fantastic steaks. Had the 45 dated aged rib eye and a wagyu. Both terrific. Drinks and sides were excellent too. Albert the owner sat down with us and talked about his project and interests. Very nice! I think they will be successful. Dress code “it’s California!” Come as you are but prob no swim suits and bathing suits. Some people dressed in sports coats and dresses. We were tshirts and jeans. All good either way.
First time and it was an excellent experience! Service was impeccable and attentive, food was over the top, fillet minion and the fish made to order, and the atmosphere was pleasant with guitar music in the background. If you haven’t been, you should try it.
They have delicious raw bar & sushi options with pickled wasabi! Outstanding service and mood.
What a wonderful experience! From the service to the drinks, to the food, to the atmosphere, it was all great. The 45 day aged ribeye was fantastic. We'll definitely be back
This is the place we’ve been looking for! Best entree, cocktail, and wine I’ve had in a long time with such unique and thoughtful presentation and quality. This place is an absolute gem. The staff is friendly, service is great and the overall experience is the best I’ve had in the area. They source very high quality food and it’s obvious the moment you taste it!
Went to dinner for my birthday and the food was delicious but the server was absolutely amazing. This was probably the best service I have ever had. The server BRITTNEY well exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be back.
Went here shortly after the grand opening and you'd think they were open for years already. The staff was very attentive and the food was top notch. Had an aged ribeye, scallops, brocollini, and Caesar salad. It's beautiful inside and out and we now have a new favorite steakhouse. Thank you!
So many visits and every time it’s getting better and better never had a bad experience A great service from the second you go through the door The food and the quality of the meat is amazing
Went to the cigar dinner it was more than amazing. Perfect food, service on the Patio.
James was great! What a great place to get an amazing steak, they cook them all over wood and it tastes amazing! Highly recommend!!
I came here on a Thursday night, my family and I have lived in the area for many years so it was nice to see a new restaurant. The service and the food was absolutely great. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a good meal!!
Foods great. Atmosphere is great. Reasonable prices too. James was our waiter. He was great. We will be back, soon!
One of my favorite restaurants with delicious food, excellent service and beautiful atmosphere. Cant wait to ho back.
The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. Love this restaurant. Please go and support our local business.
Excellent service and delicious food! I would definitely come back again. Oaks Steakhouse surpasses Mastro and Lucky’s.
The best steak I've had in California, aged NY strip. Best Caesar Salad in the county.
Chef David is the best. Best steak house in TO.
Really enjoyed this place, excellent service and food. Highly recommend giving it a shot. Staff was amazing!! Good job A+
Already became our favorite restaurant- and we used to go to mastros. Haven’t been since this place opened!! Amazing amazing amazing!!
Everything was top notch, from the service, drinks, and food. We will be back again this week.
Awesome food and service. Great staff. Cool vibe I highly recommend
Wonderful to have an outstanding 1st rate restaurant that offers first-class cuisine and ambiance!
Everything was amazing! Awesome service and great drinks 🍸
Absolutely the best restaurant in the entire area.
We had an incredible dinner—everything was top-notch from start to finish. The drinks were excellent, the food was phenomenal, and the service was fantastic. Our waiter, Blake, was especially great—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even better. He told us how they source the best cuts of meat from different farms to ensure top quality, and it really showed in the flavor and tenderness. We’ll absolutely be going back. A great experience all around!
Amazing and so delicious dinner and dessert!! Went there a couple nights ago with my son who was in town visiting me and we went there to celebrate his belated birthday. It is beautiful inside and from the moment we walked in, we were treated incredibly by the owners, staff, and our waiter John, who took the very best care of us!! He kept checking on us, knew the menu well, and surprised my son with the most delicious dessert!! He also checked to see if we had any allergies or dietary restrictions. The owners, Arseen and Albert, and their two sons who work there are true gentleman and make you feel like family!! Even the incredible chef came over and asked us how are meals were. There was also a beautiful woman playing guitar and singing, and she is was so talented and wonderful to listen to!! My son and I both wholeheartedly agreed that this was the best dinner, dessert, and experience we have ever had going out to a restaurant!! I would highly recommend the Old Oaks Steakhouse to everyone. Can’t wait to go back!! Thank you again for everything!!
Fantastic steakhouse! Keith was our server who was patient and recommended a few dishes. Since we were celebrating my dad's birthday he made it extra special and really memorable. The crispy rice sushi was tasty and the lobster bisque was excellent. The chocolate cake with vanilla gelato - terrific! Highly recommend.
Best steakhouse in Ventura County hands down. Great service, wonderful steaks and cocktails and very generous side dishes. Also enjoyed the atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.
Great steak dinner with aged rib eye that was perfect to share along with broccoli and truffle fries. Definitely a special occasion place for us. Happy Anniversary dessert was special too. We’ll be back.
I went to oak steakhouse with a friend last Saturday night. We were treated like royality! The food was fabulous! The service was great and the ambiance was awesome! I ordered the ribeye and it came x out perfect! Very tasty and tender! The waiter gave us a desert on the house so we could try it. The flourless cake was delectable! I will be back as soon as possible!!
We went for my husband’s birthday and it was such a treat. Every single staff was so welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and everything our server recommended was amazing. James our server was the best and really made our dining experience. And the owner’s son Marco left such an impression with his greeting us and checking in throughout our meal. Can’t wait to keep coming back!
Outstanding experience. I have gone a few times already and have had several starters, steaks and sides and all have been outstanding. They use wood to cook and it makes everything so flavorful. Great owners, management and staff. And their whisky list has to be one of the very best in the country and I have splurged on some rare offerings. Highly recommended.
Old Oaks Steakhouse was exceptional in every way and completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the lovely maître d, but to top things off, Albert, the owner greeted us as well. He walked us to our table and on the way explained about the window filled with a large selection of dry aged steaks. One you could see was just put in there so you could see the aging on the older ones. For sure we were going to have one. The atmosphere was elegant with the addition of soft live music that contributed to such an enjoyable ambiance. We brought a special bottle of wine for our 40th Wedding Anniversary which the General Manger graciously and meticulously opened and decanted the old vintage bottle for us to let it breath while we ordered cocktails. The evening was perfect in every way and attentive by our server, Phil. Oysters were fresh, briny and delicious, just how I like them. The Lobster Deviled Eggs were a nice appetizer, salads all the time! Chef David stopped by our table to welcome us and see if we needed anything, he as was personable as he could be and we were so happy to meet him. We shared the Dry Aged Porterhouse topped with a Roasted Bone Marrow along with the best Creamed Spinach I have ever had. As a side, their Loaded Baked Potato finished our main course. Dessert served elegantly and was superb! The evening was as special as a 40th Anniversary should be. It’s all about making memories, so grateful for all that we have. Thank you so much, we for sure will be back!
It was my first time to Old Oaks Steakhouse and I was not disappointed. We were a party of six and ordered apps, steaks, lots of sides, wine and dessert. The bread and salted butter was heavenly. I had the filet which was perfectly cooked - medium rare. My friend had the bone in filet, also medium rare, and it looked amazing. She loved it. Everyone else’s steaks were also perfectly cooked. For apps we had oysters and tuna sashimi. Both excellent. For sides we had asparagus, crispy broccolini, fries and Mac n cheese - also delish. Fries were especially good and perfectly fried - crispy outside and soft inside. Ordered the Austin Hope cab which was reasonably priced. For dessert it was creme brûlée and affogato which hit the spot. The staff was attentive and the jazzy atmosphere warm. We will definitely be back!
What an amazing dinner. Amazing ambience. Amazing service ( Erin you are PHENOMENAL). Definitely will return. Highly recommend!
Old Oaks (Albert & his team) knocked it out of the park with this steakhouse. The New Yorks came out perfectly prepared, the tuna was fresh and delicious along with the hamachi crudo. The service was excellent, we will definitely be back!
Old oaks steakhouse is the best steakhouse I have ever been to! The food, service, and overall experience was top tier and the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had! The owners are incredible and you can see how much they care about your experience there. The chef came over and talked to us which was awesome and our waiter made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond! I will absolutely be back and recommend everyone try old oaks!
Old Oaks Steakhouse is on a completely different level. We tried several cuts — Australian Wagyu, Kosher Ribeye, and Filet Mignon — and every single one was outstanding. I personally had the 45-day dry-aged Porterhouse, and it was simply phenomenal: deep, rich flavor, perfect tenderness, and cooked with absolute precision. The sides were just as impressive. The portobello fries and the loaded baked potato were both exceptional — rich, perfectly seasoned, and the ideal complement to such high-quality beef. What truly made the evening special was the overall experience: warm, attentive service, a beautiful atmosphere, and a memorable night for our whole family. If you appreciate true steakhouse culture and world-class meat, this place is an absolute must.
This was our first time dining at the Old Oaks Steakhouse and it definitely won’t be our last! Our server Brittney attended to our party of 8 with grace and ease. We enjoyed several appetizers, starters, entrees, and sides. From the moment we arrived to when we finished dining, we had an impressive experience!
We went here right after they opened in April ‘25 and were very disappointed. However, friends invited us to go again and I was very pleasantly surprised! The room was beautiful, packed and lively but a little noisy. We had a drink at the large beautiful bar and the bartender Dan was amazing! When our friends arrived we were sat in the rear room which was much quieter. We had salads, several steaks, the crab cakes, scallops, au gratin sweet potatoes, truffle potatoes and desserts. Everything was amazing! The chef came over as well as the owner to make sure we were happy and satisfied 💖 We were and now we have a new place to eat !!! Will definitely be back. 🎉💃🏿
@oldoakssteakhouse556 another excellent dining experience at ONE of my favorite new restaurants in #thousandoaks at the old Corrigan’s Steakhouse! Can’t compare the old place but the new place is awesome! Everything is perfect! From dropping your car off with the excellent valets to walking in to meet the nice lovely hosts ready to seat you! The wait staff is so polite and helpful! The food is out of this world!! Don’t forget to get dessert! Chocolate cake was delicious! Arseen and his brother have a bit hit here! Please stop by and support local businesses in Thousand Oaks!! Say hi to his son Marco! Great kid with big smile! This place is so warm and welcoming! Stop by today!
Hands down the best steakhouse in Ventura county. I was pleas with everything from the service to the food and the ambience. I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend the Gold Standard tomahawk.
We celebrated my birthday at Old Oaks Steakhouse and couldn’t have been more impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, the live music added such a fun and cozy vibe, but the real standout was the exceptional service. Our server Daniel went above and beyond—he was incredibly attentive, kept our waters filled without us even noticing, refreshed our plates and utensils seamlessly, and ensured our steaks were cooked to perfection. It’s rare to find that level of care and professionalism, and it truly made the night feel even more special. We’re so happy to have found our new go-to spot, and a place to celebrate special occasions. We’ll definitely be back!
Old Oaks Steakhouse in Thousand Oaks is a gem! The filet and 30-day aged New York strip were absolutely phenomenal—cooked to perfection with incredible flavor. The atmosphere transports you to a charming old-town statehouse, creating a warm and inviting vibe. The staff was exceptionally friendly, making the experience even better. Every bite was a delight, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

Just wow. Lets start off with the obvious: This place is pricey in the traditional sense. However, the bang you get for your buck is stellar. The service was very supportive and attentive throughout, truly personalizing the experience for us specifically. The steaks are cooked on a woodfire grill, so the smoke flavor shines through in all cuts of meat. The sides complimented, even elevated the main courses. The ribeye was percectly medium rare, very juicy, incredible flavour. The truffle fries had freshly shaved truffle so that each bite has that truffle flavour. The sauces were all delicious and exquisite. This steakhouse is very intentional on what they put on the menu and drink selection, its all carefully curated. Hands down the best steakhouse experience I’ve ever had. Heavily recommended for celebratory occasions due to the price tag, but whether its worth it is never going to be a question for Old Oaks steakhouse, therefore I can only recommend.
I absolutely love this place! I’ve been there a few times and never walked away disappointed. I prefer it 10 times over to Mastro’s. The steaks here are incredibly tasty with options of different sauces. The sides are incredible! I would highly recommend the purée potatoes, the cream spinach, and the crispy broccolini. The place is a class act and worth the money. They also have a bar area.
Had a fantastic dinner at Old Oak Steakhouse with my good friend Greg. We both went for the Denver steak and it was cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The kind of steak that makes you quietly nod to yourself after the first bite. The service really made the evening though. Our waitress Jamy was warm, fun to talk to, and super attentive without hovering. I actually did a double take when she walked up because she looked like the spitting image of Helen Hunt — and judging by her reaction, she’s heard that one before. As the cherry on top, the owner surprised us with a behind-the-scenes tour, which was a cool extra touch and made the whole experience feel even more special. Top-quality food, top service, and a great vibe overall. I’ll definitely be back — even if it takes me until next year to make it happen. 🥩✨ Errol de Ceuninck van Capelle
What an amazing experience! Britney was very attentive and everyone who came by our table were all very friendly. I got the 30 day aged NY strip, and it was perfect. Cocktails were very tasty and they have an impressive wine list. As an homage the owners kept the horns that were hanging when this used to be Corrigans Steakhouse, true Gentlemen. Come pay this family owned gem a visit!
The atmosphere was wonderful. The staff especially Phil and Jamie were professional and knew their steaks and wine. It is a steakhouse and they were amazing. Cooked and seasoned to perfection cooked over wood fired We split a 12 oz filet and the portion was enough for two. The sides were very large and made to be shared. The salad came with chilled forks which you see rarely. I had the crab cakes and the remoulade was very tasty. All the sides for the baked potato were very plentiful. We requested the vegetables to be steamed even though it was not an option on the menu. And they delivered. Highly recommend to try out a great steakhouse in Thousand Oaks and order one of their wonderful steaks.
The food and service were 5 star. We had the Tomahawk and Porterhouse, great sides, desert, cocktails and wine. Steaks were tasty, tender and cooked to perfection. Our Waitress Kailie couldn't have been better -- fun, knowledgeable, professional and she checked in on us frequently. The owner Albert stopped by to introduce himself and also Head Chef David. It was a memorable wedding anniversary for my wife and I.
My second time here. It was even better than the first, which I thought was impossible. The aged ribeye was definitely one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back again!!!
The service and the place was great , we stopped by randomly and we love steaks . This place was 💯. Johnny our waiter was classy , even more special was after a great meal we were met by the owner that thanked us and walked us into his kitchen and showed us how they prep.. meeting the Chef and the kitchen was impeccably clean and full of great energy. We got the NY strip and the lamb chops and will be back for the porterhouse. Really happy we came here .

My wife and I finally out to try Old Oaks Steakhouse and were impressed with both the service and the food. Our waiter, Jason, was on point, instructive, and helpful. For example, when my wife was struggling with the shell of the lobster tail, Jason was there in a flash to offer to take the lobster back to the kitchen to extract it from its shell. As for the food, I had the crab cakes appetizer, which thankfully had more crab than filler, and the 12oz. filet mignon. The steak was cooked to perfection. Speaking of steaks, it bears mentioning that the serrated steak knives were not ideal, and cutting with them was not smooth, especially with the lobster tail. Their steaks come with various sauces, and I had asked for the Old Oaks butter, which was serviceable, but nothing spectacular. Next time, I'll try the peppercorn sauce. And there will be a next time. We are fortunate to have a high-end steakhouse in town now that Mastro's was taken over by Landry's. Landry's ruined Mastro's just as it ruined Morton's. But fear not, Old Oaks is the big boy in town now.

This steakhouse is one of my favorite places to dine. All of the waiters are very kind, attentive, and welcoming, and they always make us feel comfortable from the moment we walk in. Last week, my husband and I had a date night there, and we truly enjoyed our evening together. The atmosphere was warm, relaxing, and perfect for a nice dinner. The restaurant has a cozy and elegant vibe that makes it great for both special occasions and casual nights out. We loved being able to sit, talk, and enjoy the environment without feeling rushed. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The steaks were cooked perfectly, tender, and full of flavor, and the sides complemented the meal so well. You can really tell they put effort into the quality of their food. Although our food took a little longer than expected to arrive, we were very happy with the result once it came out. The quality and taste definitely made the wait worth it. Sometimes busy restaurants take a bit longer, and in this case we could understand why because the food was excellent. What stood out the most to me was the great customer service. The staff checked on us regularly, made sure we had everything we needed, and stayed friendly throughout the night. That kind of service really makes a difference and keeps us wanting to come back. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and a memorable date night. I would definitely recommend this steakhouse to anyone looking for great food, a pleasant atmosphere, and caring service. We are already looking forward to visiting again soon!
The aged steak was cooked to perfection and outstanding New York chop house qualitys. Side dishes were fair but nothing else. Fairly comprehensive wine selection comprising some interesting Italian wineries and a few Rhone offerings.
A great place for dining. Its beautiful, service with attentive staff, and welcoming atmosphere. However, everything is a la carte. If the price is of no consequence then this is for you. Only the caviar potato was disappointing, dry and under cooked. Valet is interesting too. There's only ten spots in the parking lot. When I turned in my ticket they gave me the keys to the car and I literally walked across the street and drove away. That was $8.00 exercise in futility! Still a good experience.
Reason for visiting: brother's early birthday dinner with the homies Date/time of visit: Friday night, 8:00 PM Parking: we started day drinking 🤭 so we parked at parking lot for Tarantula Brewery (~8 min walk, ~1 min drive; doesn't seem to be a time limit or it's not enforced. We parked there for 8+ hours 😀). There's valet at the Steakhouse, not sure how much. There's some street parking next to the restaurant too. Free. Party size: 7 Environment/ambience: they sat us in the back room; kinda stuffy/hot back there. But not too bad. No TVs; there's a bar area too. Clean restrooms. The people dining at the restaurant were friendly too! Ended up going to Tipsy Goat afterwards with a couple that we met there (~8 min walk back, directly across from Tarantula Brewery). Reservations are recommended too. Service: was great! Server was friendly; drank with us too (separately, not at the table). Offered recommendations too. Food: we did family style; Australian Wagyu, Bone Marrow, French Fries, Mac 'n' Cheese. They also offered a complimentary dessert for the birthday boy! Everything was good; steak cooked medium rare. Mac 'n' Cheese had no flavor but everything else was good. Bone marrow with the bread was awesome. Fries good too. Cost: $970, with tip Would I go back (yes/no):

food was okay , there lobster bisque is not the best , tastes a bit watered down . There meat is amazing though no matter what you order . Also THERES NO WOMANS BATHROOM? Incredibly weird to me.. service was great.
All the reviews were excellent and we made reservations with friends and were very excited to go to a new place with such stellar reviews. I want to wish them well and I hope that they take this into consideration. Not only the place is super super noisy, we could barely hear ourselves nor the waitress. We ordered burrata salad (one piece of burrata and A LOT of tasteless arugula), our friends ordered the gem salad and had to return it because it had no taste, the Caesar salad was very good though. We ordered steak, 45 days aged, it had no taste whatsoever, we ordered a bottle of wine at the beginning. The waitress offered to let us taste it since we were not familiar with this wine which she excitedly recommended. About half an hour later, while the salads were already in the table, she came to tell us that the bar was too busy and they couldn't accommodate the tasting. We waited about another 15 minutes before we received the bottle of wine which was nothing special. Our friends ordered the fillet mignon. Nothing to rave about. Needless to say all four were very disappointed. We still hope you succeed and thrive.
The steak we had here was phenomenal. It took a few tries before we finally landed on our selection. We originally wanted the dry-aged New York steak, but it was sold out. We then ordered the dry-aged tomahawk, only for our server to return and tell us they had just sold the last one. We ultimately ended up with the Australian Wagyu Cowboy Cut, which was delicious. The sides weren’t anything exciting—just typical steakhouse offerings. If you want bread for the table, it is complimentary, but you have to specifically request it, as they won’t offer it. Given the amount spent, they really should include it automatically, since bread and butter are standard at most steakhouses. The service was nice, helpful, and not pushy at all. The atmosphere, however, was quite loud. It made it difficult to talk to my partner, who was sitting directly across from me. Our server even had to switch sides of the table while speaking with us because neither of us could hear clearly. Overall, I’d give this experience three stars for a $500 night. And yes, I’m rating the experience—not just the food. I don’t have any real complaints about the food itself, aside from it being a bit overpriced, but if the overall experience had been better, it would have felt worth it.
The food was fabulous, had the larger filet mignon, no bone. The atmosphere was nice, although my table felt like a I was in the middle of the road cause everyone kept walking behind me and to the side of me I would’ve preferred to be tucked in without all that traffic behind me from servers. But OK that’s fine. I’ll take that cause the food’s worth it, but here is the butt. I had this lady server who was just in a mood maybe? Wasn’t very nice wasn’t attentive. She’d be gone for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. It probably took close to 20 minutes for me to get my Coke. And still no bread other servers were giving their tables bread and attention. I wanted to ask if we can trade table so we can get someone else. We will give it another shot and come back again.
First time at this restaurant. The restaurant is very nice inside, tables are pretty close to each other, we kept getting out chairs bumped into by the staff going by. 3 of us at the table. My friend and I ordered the filet mignon it was a good steak and tender. My wife got the NY, she ordered it Medium and came out Medium well, they made her a new steak and now came out Rare. Manager and waitress tried to tell us it was Medium, but no go. They brought out a block to cook more on, but still didn't help that much. The flavor of it was not the greatest, and even putting it in the air fryer the next day was not any better. Loaded baked potato, was not bad. Will come back again to get a hopeful better experience. Manager was very nice and helpful

Rude , poorly trained staff. Flavorless sides and searing staring into wait staff prep. I consider this a waste of $500.
Beautiful ambiance and our waiter was excellent — attentive and professional. If I were rating him alone, it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately, the food and manager/ownership response ruined the experience. At our table of four, we ordered two $80 ribeyes medium rare and one filet medium. One ribeye came medium, the other was correct, and the filet came rare. Two of the three steaks were cooked incorrectly. When we brought it up, the owner came to the table and asked us to cut the steak open “in front of him.” He said steaks cooked over an open flame can be uneven and told us he could replace it if we “really wanted him to.” The tone felt defensive and dismissive — especially at this price point. Before leaving, we asked to speak with him again and were told he refused to come back to the table. That sealed it for us. Great atmosphere. Great waiter. But for the money, the customer service and accountability were extremely disappointing. We won’t be returning.
