Spaghetti in camicia nera sono una specialità. Grazie a tutti di avermi fatto degustare questo primo. Un piatto che rimane nel cuore,nell'anima e nell'onore di chi sa apprezzarlo. A noi è piaciuto molto.

Tutto perfetto, siamo andati la prima volta per il compleanno di mia moglie e già con la prenotazione telefonica si sono messi a disposizione perché potessi avere un mazzo di rose come regalo, così come con mia figlia celiaca che si sono adoperati per farle avere pane e pasta senza glutine. La cena è stata veramente ottima per tutte le portate che abbiamo mangiato e per finire avevano pensato anche al dolce con la candelina. Che dire , non potevamo non ritornarci per la seconda volta. Sembrava di essere a casa nostra con tutti i confort e soprattutto una cucina davvero speciale. Rapporto qualità-prezzo eccezionale, ho speso più ad un bar che ci siamo fermati. 5 stelle meritate. I’m always trying to get the best out of any situation and places that I’m visiting and traveling to. Unfortunately this time, the only good thing about this restaurant was definitely the food. But, the way my family and I were treated by the staff was simply not good! At the entrance one server was asking us if we were there to eat and then the other one asked us if we had reservation. One wanted us to get in, the other one trying to get us going away. After being seated at the table one server placed the small plates on the table to enjoy some bread and olive oil and in 5 minutes the other server came and took all the plates while we were eating and brought other plates… mumbling something about not having the right ones. I asked for the wine list, and after two “don’t have that anymore” and being pushed to get “local” wine, we finally got a bottle just to put an end to the story. I’ll stop here… The food was great but the rushed and unpleasant service ended our Venice night on a sour note . Maybe, if you’re lucky not to get the dictatorial server, you might be having a good time at the restaurant! Fun fact: the owner was there too!🤔

If Venice is a dream, this little pasta restaurant is its best-kept secret. Tucked away on a quiet side street close to the theatre where the atmosphere is warm, intimate, and filled with comforting aromas. The menu celebrates authenticity with it's carefully crafted dishes. The highlight for me was the fresh pasta with truffles; delicate ribbons of pasta coated in earthy richness that melted on the tongue, perfectly cooked and flavoured. Unforgettable!! The staff embody Venetian hospitality at it's best, kind, attentive and passionate about their restaurant. Prices are fair, especially considering the quality. It is truly a must-visit for anyone who believes pasta is more than just food, but an experience. I look forward to my next visit. Grazie mille! 😊

It's always hard to find good restaurants in Venice, as most of them are essentially caters to tourists, and don't offer good traditional food. Al Colombo is one of those restaurants that you want to visit again. First of all, the spirit of this restaurant is Domenico, the owner—a great person, with a lovely sense of hospitality. The restaurant is located near Rialto Bridge, in a beautiful courtyard. You must try the local "crudo di mare", lovely selection of fresh fish. Another dish that you must absolutely try is the risotto di gò, a risotto made with the small fishes from the laguna. Definetely, a great address for your next visit in Venezia !

Loved this place! Went here for a celebratory dinner after getting engaged to my fiancée on the gondola! Food was amazing, food amazing, the owner was great! They treated us lovely and we had an amazing time with great service. Definitely recommend checking this place out for an authentic Italian dish! The bruschetta was amazing!

This was a stop on our Globus tour and it was absolutely lovely. We as a group had a wonderful evening and many of us said we didn't want it to end when it was time to go. The video on the building, the ambiance, just so special. The service lacked just a bit with the servers being annoyed with our group, but that is the nature of accepting groups, otherwise it was great. The owner was charming and spent time with us.

The people were absolutely wonderful and so kind. The food was some of the best I've had, I couldn't recommend this place more. The gnocchi was delicious, but my favourite was the seafood spaghetti, it was perfect. The scampi was phenomenal as well.

Storico ristorante posto alle spalle del teatro Goldoni, in una corte nascosta al grande passaggio. Ristorante "del buon ricordo" e inserito tra i locali storici.Qui si cenava (e si cena) dopo im teatro. Ambiente elegante ma non super formale, cibo buono e presentazione a volte coreografica fanno diventare una esperienza mangiare qui. Un neo è che il menu non è propriamente economico, ma va detto che è esposto e chiaro e quindi si può scegliere consapevolmente.

Abbiamo letto svariate recensioni negative circa l' approccio "politico" della gestione. Possiamo affermare di avere riscontrato un servizio garbato e piacevole, con alimenti di buona qualità e decisamente gustosi. Lontani da ogni possibile schieramento dobbiamo ricordare a molti che, all' epoca del COVID, i veri "fascisti" stavano a sinistra. E concludo qui.

We visited this place on a recent trip to Venice! It was remarkable! It was a beautiful night! The ambiance was great! It was just an exquisite time all around! The food was good, in my opinion. The service wasn't bad considering there was a language barrier. We were part of a very large group, so that could've had a part to play in it. The owner came out and spent time with us, too. That's a night my wife and i will surely remember.

Not sure why it’s rated so low, yes the service could have been a little better, but the owner was lovely! Mine and my partner’s food was incredible, and my partner said it was the best lasagne she’s ever tasted! I think the prices are fair, it may be a little on the tourist trap side but 100% worth it!!

Nice cozy terrace to eat traditional italian dishes. The team seems to be all indian, probably the owner as well. Efficient and all conversations directly in English. Price is around 80/100 per person.

Went here recently with a large group 20+. All the staff were exceptional and patient. The owner was an incredible host and spent time with us, breaking away from his own dinner and friends to make time for us. Which was very much appreciated! And they were busy with a local clientele that night. Incredible atmosphere, seated outside with an Italian movie playing from the 60s projected on the wall (no sound). The space they have is beautiful and well kept. The food!! Amazing! And clearly playing to the residents of the city, not purely for the tourist crowd. Side note - maybe the best espresso of my life was served with dessert and that is saying something in Italy! Go and have a full, authentic, high end experience. And order the good wine!! They have a great selection! I definitely talk about that evening for the rest of my life and will absolutely be back! Grazie mille!

The location was excellent, service not friendly. The pasta dishes were not good in relation to the price. The bread was stale. Dessert s were good. The charge four euros per person for service charge and automatically add a 15% tip. I would never recommend or return. La posizione era eccellente, il servizio non era cordiale. I piatti di pasta non erano all'altezza del prezzo. Il pane era raffermo. I dessert erano buoni. Il servizio costa quattro euro a persona e viene automaticamente aggiunta una mancia del 15%. Non lo consiglierei e non ci tornerei mai.

The service is friendly, and relatively efficient. The cocktails are good. Beer is overpriced. The food is overpriced for its quality. I had the lobster pasta, it was incredibly dry and tasteless. There are plenty of other places of higher quality around for price relativity. It’s a shame because the location is quiet and pleasant.

In anzi tutto qui i bambini, non mangeranno tanto, non c'e ne cotoletta, patatine, o menu per bambini. Il cibo ha porzioni poche per il loro costo due volte piu altro di quello in campagna. Non penso di ritornarci. Ambiente silenzioso con tantissimi piccioni

Had dinner as part of our Kensington tour. Set meal…simply don’t. Food was less than mediocre and service was lacking. Their Pasta e Fagioli soup was bland. The Lasagna, overcooked..Veal far too salty & Tiramisu was mostly just cream. Very disappointed in both the restaurant and that our tour company chose them.

Ho prenotato da internet al ristorante AL colombo a Veneziaper il giono 03.03.2025 alle ore 20,00 , ci siamo recati al ristorante in orario ma era tutto chiuso , i tavoli ammucchiati fuori e si vedeva che c'erano dei lavori in corso . Non penso che un ristorante di tale livello si dimentichi di bloccare le prenotazioni dal sito quando è chiuso . La conferma della poca serietà mi è stata confermata da altri che hanno avuto la mia stessa esperienza negativa .

Mi ha portato in questo locale per la cena di capodanno l’amico Franco, e’ stata un’esperienza irripetibile…locale datato con servizio scadente che hanno invertito l’ordine del servizio. Ci hanno servito prima la seconda portata e poi il primo piatto. La qualità’ del cibo era mediocre e l’impiattamento anni ‘70. Il conto, per quello che ci hanno portato, e’ stato eccessivo. Da sconsigliare assolutamente. Maledetto Franco.

Absolutely awful, hospitality clearly doesn’t exist here We stopped by just to have a drink, not to commit a crime — although the staff made us feel like we had. From the very beginning, the personnel were rude, hostile, and clearly annoyed by the mere fact that customers dared to walk in. The highlight of this ridiculous experience was when they noticed we had a small bag of chocolates we bought during our trip. Instead of acting like normal human beings, they threatened to throw it in the trash unless we hid it, as if we were misbehaving children sneaking contraband into a high-security facility. No explanation. No courtesy. Just pure arrogance and intimidation. If this is how they treat paying customers, I can only imagine how they handle actual problems. If you enjoy being disrespected, talked down to, and treated like an inconvenience, then congratulations — this place is for you. For everyone else, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. This establishment has clearly mastered the art of turning a simple drink into a thoroughly unpleasant experience.

A very unpleasant and terrible experience. My friends and I went in for coffee, and I had chocolates with me. He spoke to me rudely and said he would throw them in the trash if I didn't pick them up, instead of simply saying it was forbidden. I do not recommend going.

Well well well...looks like part of Venice experience are the scammy type of establishments that are gonna sell you a can 🥫 of coke (no coke included - pun intended) for 8€ - on the bill it was mentioned as aqua panna (tax evasion I presume?) => come on, have some class and get some glass. Drinks menu was nowhere to be found + menu itself was dirty. Bread service also not mentioned anywhere = some salt sticks and bread no olive oil/dips or spreads for 4€. Compulsory tip of 15%. The spaghetti themselves were not bad but all in all at this price point the experience itself was not good.
