Hands down the best broth I’ve had at any hot pot restaurant! The tomato and pork bone broths were incredibly flavorful. I also loved the self-serve bar—everything from the sauces and condiments to the fresh fruit and snacks was top-notch. The decor is beautiful, and I’ll definitely be coming back!
Michelle service is very good. The service attitude is conscientious. The hotpot here is absolutely fantastic! The broth is rich and flavorful, with incredibly fresh ingredients – the meat slices are tender and the vegetables are crisp. Service is quick and friendly. The cozy atmosphere makes it perfect for gatherings. Great value for money! Highly recommend for a delicious, satisfying meal.
This place is my most enjoyable Hot Pot place , I never say NO. The food , the presentation, the taste perfectly fits in my mouth. Their spice is not a joke. Only thing I always have to prepare to go that place is you have to join the waitlist first. If not, you have to wait more than an hour. Very busy place. But worth it. I went there many times already. And always ready to go again!
We had such a lovely experience at Shooloongkan! From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm and welcoming. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and each dish was beautifully prepared and full of authentic flavor. A special thank you to Michelle for making our visit even more enjoyable. She was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Our food came out quickly, and she checked in on us just the right amount — thoughtful without ever feeling rushed. Her warm personality truly made us feel comfortable and taken care of. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and generous portions, which makes this place even more impressive. It’s a great spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommend!
A really fun experience! The wait staff was very helpful and attentive. The spicy broths are quite spicy, and also quite oily. We opted to order everything individually instead of the combo, which I think worked for us better by getting everything we actually wanted for a bit more cost. Overall it's a bit expensive but reasonably so for a special dinner.
This was our first time trying this place, and everything was amazing from start to finish. The service was beyond exceptional—our server, Iris, went above and beyond with her beautiful smile and helped us choose the best dishes. We ordered the beginner package and added beef tripe, and everything was delicious. The sauces and dips were incredibly tasty, and the overall experience was outstanding. We will definitely be coming back again and again!
小龙坎is our go to place in flushing!!! We always enjoy our hotpot and the free appetizers and desserts at the sauce bar. The staff there are all very nice and friendly, especially the young waitress Michelle, she’s an angel! She’s so so so sweet, served us so well and also very very kind to kids. I’d like to see her again when we go there next time!
Went here for lunch today. Came on a Saturday before opening no waiting. Staff was super attentive scoping out soup scum and clearing empty plates quickly. The prices were really good for the portions. The sauce station had snacks like kidney and tripe dishes. And there was a sweet purple rice porridge dessert.
Amazing dinner, even better service! This restaurant truly impressed us. The food was delicious and creatively prepared. What made the night extra special was our server, Michelle. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided service that was both prompt and thoughtful. Highly recommend asking for her section!
The ambience in the restaurant is much better than most hotpot restaurants in the area. Quality of protein is hit or miss. Quality of veggie and other food is good. Soup flavors are great! Only complaints are that the sauce bar gets crowded at peak hours and that there are only 2 restrooms in the restaurant.
We really enjoyed the food at this place. The hot pot was amazing—the tomato and spicy broths were spot-on. Ordering through the iPad was convenient, and the food arrived quickly. One note: if you order beer, it may take a bit longer to arrive, and sometimes you need to remind the staff that you placed the order. The sauce and snack station is very nice, with everything you need to customize your perfect dipping sauce. The restaurant itself is clean, neat, and well kept. Overall, we had a great experience and are definitely looking forward to coming back.
Came here today with a friend and was served by 菜菜. She did a great job making sure we had good food and a smooth experience. One of the staff noticed our meat was mostly fatty pieces and immediately helped us change it without us even asking really appreciated that! Overall, we had a great experience. The portions were generous, the flavor was good, and the service was thoughtful. Definitely will come back soon!
On my list, Shoo Loong Kan stands out as one of the top hotpot spots in Flushing and definitely deserves repeat visits. The food is excellent, with a wide variety of dishes and consistently high quality and freshness. The service is first-class—special thanks to our server Iris today for her outstanding hospitality. My only complaint is that they don’t offer a Chinese herbal hot pot broth
Best Hotspot in flushing. Service is amazing. Iris was our server and she helped us order perfectly for our tastes. There a lot of similar places in Flushing but this place stands out above them all. Love the sides and sauce bar. They open in the late night all the way to 5am so whenever you need a late night stop its there for you. Inside Tangram mall makes it even more convenient and safe at night.
Shoo Loong Kan in Flushing is easily one of the best hot pot experiences in the area. I love that they let you choose up to three different broths, which makes it perfect for groups or if you just want to try a few flavors at once. Everything comes out fresh, and the presentation is always on point. One of my favorite parts is the sauce bar it’s fully stocked with different appetizers, fresh herbs, oils, and ingredients so you can customize your own perfect dipping sauce. It really adds to the whole experience and makes the meal feel fun and interactive. The staff here is extremely attentive. They refill things without you asking, check in often, and make sure you’re comfortable from the moment you sit down. Even when the restaurant gets busy, the service stays consistent and friendly. Overall, Shoo Loong Kan is a great spot for hot pot lovers or anyone looking for a flavorful and enjoyable meal in Flushing. Highly recommend.
Never tried the spicy broth due to low spice tolerance but the experience is just as great with pork rib broth. Make your own sauce booth has a variety of fruits and/or snacks to take. Easy way to order dishes through a digital tablet. Complimentary Hershey's ice cream cups at the end of the meal. We often spend birthdays here, they bring out a big sign and some staff and they sing a long celebration song.
I always come after work or over the weekends and food is always of good quality. The environment is super clean and 5 star service every single time. I brought my mom and we had Kelvin this time and he appears to be one of the best, if not the best, I’ve ever encountered in Flushing for a very long while. Will always come back and would love to have him again.
We had an incredible meal at Shoo Loong Kan Hot Pot! 🔥🍲 The flavors were so authentic—a true taste of China 🇨🇳❤️ We’ll definitely be coming back! A huge shoutout to our amazing waiter, Kelvin! 🙌 He made the experience extra special for our one-year-old daughter 👶💖—super attentive, kind, and professional. Thank you for making our visit unforgettable! 👏🥢✨
This restaurant is located in a very nice shopping mall of Flushing. We didn’t want to wait at another Hot Pot joint and decided to come here instead. It was the best decision we have made. The wait was not too bad, only 15 minutes on a Sunday evening. This is a Chengdu hot pot style so you can pick your soup base to cater to your own liking. Note Medium soup is on the spicy end so if you are not used to the spicy level then go with mild to be sure. You then can personalize your own sauce. They have excellent options including some cold dishes for appetizers. The dishes come out very quickly and fresh. The feast started quickly and we all were so satisfied since the taste is just right, not salty but tasty enough. Side note: the service was extremely personal and well attended. Kelvin was our waiter and he made sure we got enough water, food, he helped de-vein and de-shell the shrimp for us. He himself deserved a 5 star rating. One more note that I found very pleasant is that you can store your coats in the compartment under your seats. That way your clothes won’t smell after dinner. We will definitely come back often. This is our go-to hot pot place now!
I bring my friends here often and the service is amazing as usual. My servers were Hannah and 小黑 and they did a great job. Everything was so good that by the time I was done, I forgot to take pictures because I was so hungry. We usually order too much but they recommended just the right amount. I recommend for anyone visiting flushing who loves hotpot to try this place!
We came here for the first time, everything was great. We had 3 flavor of soup, mama elbow and mushroom soup were delicious while the chilies broth was very oily we can get what is taste. The sauce bar with small appetizer was good. There are a variety of the meat, vegetable choices. The service was excellent even they quite busy. I recommended for the hot pot lovers.
Husband and I ordered the "Beginners Buffet". Value for money indeed! And lots of choices. Staff are polite and helpful. \n\nDefinitely will come back again!

Hot pot is one of my fav meals so I have a lot of thoughts. Overall experience was great! Ordering is on the iPad with photos. It’s NOT all you can eat and the items are decently expensive but for good quality meat. They have a selection of tea drinks as well. The short rib beef is much higher quality. The other sliced beef is very fatty. The selection of items averages out. They have a few interesting items like liver, pig brain, winter melon, bamboo fungus etc. but they’re missing a few staples like watercress, fuzhou fishball. We got the pork bone and tomato broths which were delicious! The tomato broth was nice and thick and didn’t taste too sour. The pork bone broth was wholesome and not too salty. They have a pretty standard sauce bar selection. There are a few appetizer items at the sauce bar too. The interior is very extravagant and looks like you’re in china. The music can be a little loud and it’s noisy when it’s packed. There’s a bathroom in the restaurant which is handy because I’ve waited a long time in the tangram mall bathroom line. Service is quick and friendly. They skimmed the soup for us. Make sure to ask for aprons so you don’t splash on your clothes! The benches lift up to store your jackets and bags so they don’t smell afterward. We joined the waitlist online an hour before we were going to arrive. There were 36 parties ahead of us when we joined. I wouldn’t choose this as my staple hot pot place but it would be nice for when friends are visiting or to treat someone to dinner!

I recently came back here for hotpot and found a partially eaten corn in the soup gross! Do not come to his place!
Absolutely unacceptable experience. While packing my own leftovers, I added a small portion of side food from the self-serve station — it was leftover food that was about to be thrown away anyway. I wasn’t taking anything new or extra, just trying not to waste food. Then the waitress suddenly accused me of tone clearly implying that I was trying to steal and said that need to pay for it. There were no signs anywhere saying that self-serve items couldn’t be packed, and her tone was rude, condescending, and humiliating — she spoke loudly in front of other customers, which was extremely disrespectful. If the restaurant has a rule, fine — but don’t insult your guests or make false accusations. A little politeness and clarity would go a long way. Management needs to train their staff and make their policies visible. I will not return, and I warn others to think twice before dining here.
